Abstract

This study uses bibliometric analysis based on the Biblioshiny application in R Programming to explore climate change discourse in social media. Data were obtained from Scopus from 2008-2024, resulting in 57 scientific articles that were analyzed to explore research trends, lead author contributions, collaboration networks, information sources, and country of origin. The study provides an overview of the dataset, publication trends, citations, author profiles, journal analysis, country distribution, and research themes. Using a bibliometric approach, it aims to analyze the evolution of climate change discourse and enhance communication policies on social media. The results show a significant increase in publications each year, with a peak in 2024 High-impact articles by Koteyko N., Jaspal R., and Nerlich B. are key references. The U.S. and U.K. lead in publications and global scientific influence, while developing countries' contributions are lacking, emphasizing the need for international collaboration to enhance global representation in research. Key journals like Science Communication and Geographical Journal are vital for disseminating research on themes such as climate change, social media, and communication. Notable research areas include sentiment analysis, social networks, and environmental management, offering insights that can aid in developing inclusive and sustainable communication policies.

Abstract

Artikel ini mendeskripsikan bahwa sementara di Negara kita sebagian besar masyarakatnya menggantungkan hidup di ladang-ladang pertanian, terkadang masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menyebarkan informasi, khususnya informasi pembangunan yang sangat dibutuhkan oleh para petani untuk meningkatkan kualitas maupun kuantitas hasil pertaniannya. Pada era otonomi daerah ini, penggunaan media informasi pembangunan dari pusat ke daerah menjadi hal yang sangat penting. Urgensi penelitian adalah ingin mengukur tingkat penggunaan media tradisional pada masyarakat pedesaan dalam mendidik masyarakat pedesaan di Kecamatan Rancakalong Kabupaten Sumedang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media tradisional yang digunakan untuk mentransfer pengetahuan lokal dan regenerasi, juga digunakan sebagai media komunikasi formal; sehingga muncullah praktek filsafat komunikasi di dalamnya. Namun, media itu kurang beradaptasi dengan bentuk-bentuk informasi modern dan hanya memasukkan alat-alat pendukung seperti pengeras suara dalam acara-acara tertentu.

Abstract

The Ngalaksa traditional ceremony is a significant cultural practice in Rancakalong, Sumedang, West Java, serving as a vital medium for preserving intangible cultural heritage. While prior studies have explored the broader significance of such ceremonies, limited research has examined the specific roles and challenges faced by traditional elders in safeguarding these traditions amid modernization and globalization. This study addresses this gap by analyzing the multifaceted roles of traditional elders in the Rancakalong Tourism Village in preserving the intangible cultural heritage embodied within the Ngalaksa traditional ceremony. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings highlight the critical roles of traditional elders as ceremonial leaders, guardians of cultural values, and, most importantly, key knowledge transmitters who bridge the past and present, ensuring the authentic transmission of traditions to younger generations. This study reveals that the elders’ efforts extend beyond ceremonial continuity; they also serve as a form of resistance against the homogenizing forces of modernization, playing a crucial role in maintaining cultural identity and local wisdom. The study concludes that supporting and empowering traditional elders is essential not only for preserving the Ngalaksa traditional ceremony but also for ensuring the continuity of cultural heritage amid evolving socio-cultural landscapes. These findings have implications for policy development aimed at strengthening community-based cultural preservation initiatives and promoting sustainable tourism practices that respect and value indigenous knowledge systems.

Abstract

This study explores how Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) analyzed through a sustainability-oriented perspective through a bibliometric approach. It reviews keyword trends, countries, and institutions actively involved in this field to provide insights into how such collaborations can enhance public service quality. Data was collected from the Scopus database for the 2014–2024 period, yielding 650 publications analyzed using Biblioshiny software in RStudio. The findings reveal a growing research trend, with China leading in publication contributions, while Australia ranks highest in citations. This study highlights the importance of integrating sustainability values into public-private collaborations, particularly to support smart city development focusing on environmentally friendly technologies and societal well-being. The research also provides recommendations for future studies and policies that support sustainable development.

Abstract

Gamifikasi adalah metode inovatif untuk menarik minat pembaca muda di era digital. Dengan elemen-elemen permainan, perpustakaan dapat menciptakan suasana yang lebih menarik dan interaktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode narrative literature review untuk menganalisis dua rujukan tentang gamifikasi dan layanan perpustakaan. Hasilnya menunjukkan gamifikasi berpotensi meningkatkan penggunaan layanan dan koleksi perpustakaan. Elemen permainan dapat menarik minat pembaca muda yang sebelumnya kurang tertarik. Gamifikasi juga meningkatkan partisipasi pemustaka dan masyarakat dalam menggunakan layanan perpustakaan dengan efisien dan menyenangkan. Penerapan gamifikasi menciptakan suasana interaktif dan menyenangkan di perpustakaan, meningkatkan keterlibatan, motivasi, kreativitas, dan keterampilan berpikir kritis pembaca muda. Dengan strategi yang tepat, perpustakaan bisa menjadi lebih menarik dan relevan bagi generasi muda di era digital. Gamifikasi diharapkan bisa meningkatkan partisipasi pemustaka dan masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan layanan perpustakaan dengan efisien dan menyenangkan. Gamification in Library Services to Attract Young Readers.  Gamification is an innovative method to attract young readers in the digital age. With game elements, libraries can create a more engaging and interactive atmosphere. This research uses the narrative literature review to analyze two references on gamification and library services. The results show that gamification can potentially increase the use of library services and collections. Game elements can attract young readers who were previously less interested. Gamification also efficiently and enjoyably increases user and community participation in library services. Implementing gamification creates an interactive and fun atmosphere in the library, increasing young readers' engagement, motivation, creativity and critical thinking skills. With the right strategy, libraries can become more attractive and relevant to the younger generation in the digital age. Gamification is expected to increase user and community participation in utilizing library services efficiently and enjoyably.

Abstract

Private libraries emerged as an alternative when the information needed was not available in formal libraries. Unfortunately, limited resources and the absence of formal written policies made the management of library materials somewhat difficult. The purpose of this study is to analyze collection development activities at the Batu Api Library, a private library located in Jatinangor District, Sumedang. The study uses a qualitative-descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, literature study, and documentation study. The results of the study show that the policies used by the Batu Api Library are still informal. The activity of analyzing user needs is also still based on trends. Collection selection emphasizes user needs. Collection acquisition activities are not carried out systematically and still rely on grants. Evaluation and weeding activities are also not carried out regularly, causing the collection to pile up. This study concludes that collection development activities in private libraries mostly do not use written policies. Through this study, it is hoped that private libraries can formulate formal policies, conduct periodic evaluations, and collaborate with institutions to overcome the limitations of resources they face.

Abstract

Koleksi keramik merupakan hasil dari pencampuran berbagai material alami yang diproses melalui tahapan pembentukan dan kemudian dibakar pada suhu tinggi, sehingga menghasilkan suatu material padat dan rapuh. Adapun kondisi keramik di Museum Sri Baduga retak, belah, dan sompel pada bibir keramik. Fokus penelitian ini berupa konservasi preventif yang meliputi pengontrolan suhu, kelembapan, cahaya, dan kontaminan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menguraikan praktik konservasi preventif yang diterapkan museum dalam menjaga stabilitas dan keberlangsungan koleksi keramik sebagai warisan budaya benda. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus melalui observasi, wawancara, studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konservasi preventif di Museum Sri Baduga dilakukan secara konsisten, meskipun masih ditemukan ketidakteraturan dalam pengendalian suhu, kelembapan, serta frekuensi pembersihan ruangan. Upaya tersebut terbukti mampu memperlambat laju kerusakan, sehingga koleksi keramik tetap terawat dan dapat dipamerkan dalam kondisi relatif utuh.

Abstract

Wayang Golek as an integral part of the Sundanese culture, is at risk due to globalization and modern influences. To counter this, RKSB Maja FM, a community radio in Bandung, West Java, has initiated the "Preserving the Art of Wayang Golek" program as a form of local cultural preservation. This research aims to understand the process and motivation behind the selection of Wayang Golek art performances for broadcast on RKSB Maja FM, as well as to explore its impact on the preservation of Sundanese culture and its influence on the listening community. This study uses a qualitative method with an instrumental case study approach. It gathers information through in-depth interviews with RKSB Maja FM members involved in the selection and implementation of the program, as well as the analysis of related documents. The research findings indicate that RKSB Maja FM chose the program "Preserving the Art of Wayang Golek" because Wayang Golek is a distinctive identity of Sundanese society and holds significant cultural values. The program aims to protect the continuity of this art form from outside influences and to ensure that the younger generation does not forget about Wayang Golek. RKSB Maja FM sees radio broadcasting as an effective medium for preserving and introducing Wayang Golek to the broader community. In conclusion, the broadcasting program "Preserving the Art of Wayang Golek" is RKSB Maja FM's effort to safeguard the cultural heritage of Sundanese culture and strengthen the local cultural identity amidst the challenges of globalization.

Abstract

This study examines the role of storytelling as an educational da'wah method in forming Islamic characters in children. In the context of character education, which is becoming increasingly important, the method of storytelling is considered to have great potential in conveying religious and moral messages to children interestingly and effectively. This study used a descriptive, qualitative approach by collecting data through surveys, document analysis, interviews, and observations at the Community Book Corner Pabukon Ngadongeng. Results showed that storytelling improves children's religious and moral understanding. Analysis of the documents also revealed variations of Islamic storytelling themes relevant to Islamic character values. Storytellers and educators play an essential role in this community book corner in selecting appropriate story material for children's age and understanding. Storytelling can potentially shape children's Islamic character through interactive and engaging educational dakwah. This study provides educators, preachers, and parents with a guide for using storytelling as an essential tool for Islamic character education for the younger generation.

Abstract

This study discusses the relationship between information quality on the @coffeeineseeker Instagram account and the fulfillment of followers’ information needs. the purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a relationship between the quality of information on the @coffeeineseeker Instagram account and the fulfillment of followers’ information needs. measurement of information quality using information quality theory according to McLeod and Schell which consists of relevant, accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of information. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The sample used was 100 respondents selected using probability sampling with simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques through online questionnaires, observations, interviews, and literature studies. This study uses the spearman rank correlation test technique. The results showed that there is a relationship between the information quality of the @coffeeineseeker Instagram account and the fulfillment of followers’ information needs. There is a relationship between relevance, accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of information with followers’ information needs. This means that the information provided by the @coffeeineseeker Instagram account meets the information quality indicators, so that it can fulfill followers’ information needs about café references.
