The creative industry in Indonesia is a rapidly growing sector that requires continuous innovation and sustainable business practices. This study examines the influence of soft skills and networking on business innovation and startup sustainability using a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Data were collected from 210 respondents, and the analysis utilized a Likert scale (1-5) to measure perceptions. The findings indicate that soft skills significantly impact business innovation and startup sustainability. Networking also plays a crucial role, positively affecting both business innovation and startup sustainability. The results highlight that entrepreneurs with strong soft skills are more likely to develop innovative strategies, while networking is essential for ensuring long-term sustainability. The study provides managerial insights for entrepreneurs, policymakers, and investors, emphasizing the need for entrepreneurial training programs and networking opportunities to foster business growth in Indonesia’s creative industry.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of salary, family responsibilities, and future orientation on the financial well-being of Generation Z, with a particular focus on the mediating role of financial mindset. Utilizing a quantitative research method, data were collected from 150 respondents through an online questionnaire using a Likert scale (1–5). Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 25, including regression and mediation analysis. The findings reveal that salary and future orientation have a significant positive effect on financial mindset, while family responsibilities have a negative but significant effect. Furthermore, financial mindset significantly influences financial well-being and partially mediates the relationship between the independent variables and financial well-being. These results highlight the critical role of psychological factors, such as mindset, in shaping financial behavior and outcomes. The study emphasizes the need for financial education and support systems that cultivate a forward-looking and confident approach to personal finance among Generation Z.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of young farmer regeneration, MSME incubation, and supply chain systems on the sustainability of agricultural MSMEs in East Java. Using a quantitative approach, 140 respondents were surveyed with a Likert scale (1–5), and the data were processed with Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The results show that all three variables positively and significantly affect sustainability, with young farmer regeneration being the most influential factor, followed by supply chain systems and MSME incubation. The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.430) indicates that 43% of sustainability can be explained by the model, while the predictive relevance (Q² = 0.415) demonstrates strong predictive validity. These findings suggest that sustainability of agricultural MSMEs requires generational renewal, robust supply chain systems, and incubation support to enhance competitiveness and long-term resilience. This study contributes to the literature by integrating human resource regeneration, institutional incubation, and supply chain perspectives as drivers of MSME sustainability in the agricultural sector.
