Abstract

This study aims to describe relevant digital marketing strategies to improve the competitiveness of the Rafika Dompo Banana MSME in Soguo Village, Bolaang Uki District, South Bolaang Mongondow Regency, and analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing these strategies. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection was conducted through observation, in-depth interviews with the owner, employees, and consumers, and documentation. The data analysis technique used a narrative inquiry model. The results of the study indicate that the digital marketing implementation of the Rafika Dompo Pisang MSME is still at a basic stage, utilizing WhatsApp and Facebook organically with simple content managed directly by the owner. Limited digital knowledge, minimal paid promotion budget, and suboptimal utilization of marketplace platforms are the main obstacles. Nevertheless, promotion through social media has been proven to increase product visibility and reach consumers. Supporting factors include maintained product quality, government support for licensing, and consignment collaboration. Consumer perception of the product is very positive, and existing digital promotions are considered to assist in purchasing decisions. In conclusion, the implemented digital marketing strategy is still simple but has a positive impact. Increasing competitiveness requires strategy optimization through increased digital literacy, platform diversification, and more planned resource allocation.

Abstract

Game-based learning has gained significant attention in modern education, especially in the context of economics education, due to its ability to increase students' engagement and understanding of complex economic concepts. This systematic literature review aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the method using the PRISMA approach, involving the selection and analysis of relevant academic articles. The results show that game-based learning has a significant positive impact on students' understanding, increases engagement and practical application of economic theory and develops critical and analytical thinking skills. However, challenges such as suboptimal game design and the need for curriculum integration still exist. In conclusion, although game-based learning offers great potential to revolutionize economics education, further research is needed to address the challenges and optimize educational game design and implementation strategies in economics education environments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial feasibility of a pickled skipjack tuna product business at Mutfood Indonesia, a Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) in Gorontalo City. The feasibility analysis was conducted through calculations of investment costs, operational costs, revenue, and financial feasibility indicators consisting of Break Even Point (BEP), Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C Ratio), and Payback Period (PP). The results showed that Mutfood Indonesia requires a total initial investment cost of IDR 500,904,000 to support the production process. With a selling price of IDR 50,000 per package and a production capacity of 2,000 packages per month, this business earns a net profit of IDR 39,204,037.00 per month. The R/C Rasio is 1,62 or the value is above 1, indicating that each cost expenditure is able to generate greater revenue and indicates that the business is financially feasible. The BEP calculation illustrates that the break-even point is reached at 467 units or IDR 23,350,000, which indicates that Mutfood Indonesia's production volume far exceeds the minimum limit to cover operational costs. Meanwhile, the Payback Period analysis results show a return on investment of 13 months, which is relatively fast for an MSME. Compared with previous research, these results are consistent with previous research, where fishery processing businesses with an R/C value > 1 and a relatively short payback period indicate profitable business prospects. Overall, this study concludes that Mutfood Indonesia's pickled skipjack tuna business is feasible and has potential for future development. Keywords: BEP; MSMEs; Payback Period; Pickled Skipjack Tuna; R/C Ratio

Abstract

This abstract provides a concise overview of the research on the intersection between the Merdeka Curriculum and teaching challenges in the digital era in Indonesian secondary schools. Implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesian secondary schools coincides with the evolving landscape of education in the digital era. This research explores the intersection of these two factors, aiming to understand how the curriculum aligns with and addresses the teaching challenges posed by the digital era. Through qualitative research methods, including interviews with educators, document analysis, and surveys of secondary school students, this study examines the impacts, challenges, and opportunities presented by the Merdeka Curriculum in the context of the digital age. Preliminary findings suggest that the Merdeka Curriculum has positively influenced students' critical thinking and civic awareness. However, educators report challenges related to students' overreliance on digital devices, digital literacy, and the need to balance national identity with global perspectives. The research offers practical implications for curriculum development and policy recommendations to foster digital literacy, maintain a focus on critical thinking, and find a harmonious balance between national and global perspectives. This study contributes to the ongoing discourse on curriculum adaptation to meet the demands of the digital era in Indonesian secondary education.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the fact that some students had not yet achieved the minimum learning mastery standard in Economics at SMA Negeri 1 Paleleh, indicating the need to examine the role of learning behavior in supporting academic achievement. This study aims to describe the forms of students’ learning behavior, analyze their role in Economics learning outcomes, and identify the internal and external factors that influence them. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach and was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Paleleh, Buol Regency, Central Sulawesi. The subjects analyzed consisted of 83 students, while the research informants included an Economics teacher as the key informant, students, the principal, and homeroom teachers as supporting informants. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of learning scores. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing and verification. The results showed that 61 out of 83 students achieved learning mastery, while 22 students did not. Students who actively asked questions, took notes, participated in discussions, reviewed lessons, and completed assignments in a disciplined manner tended to achieve better learning outcomes. These learning behaviors were influenced by motivation, interest, learning readiness, time management skills, parental support, teacher roles, peer interaction, and the school environment. The implication of this study indicates that improving Economics learning outcomes should be carried out through the development of positive learning behaviors involving teachers, schools, and families.
