Abstract

This activity was aimed to educate and train teachers of early childhood education program concerning two key matters for the success of early-age children’s gross motor skill development, namely: basic knowledge and skills of early-age children’s gross motor skill development methods. This training was provided using direct practice method, a method employed by teachers by practicing in a direct manner in accordance with the materials to be delivered to children. It was expected that through this direct practice activity, children gain experience by directly interacting with objects. This activity was carried out for a period of one day on April 30, 206 from 07.30 to 17.00 outside the effective learning hours. This activity was conducted in Plamboyan, District of Tapung, Regency of Kampar, Province of Riau, with 24 teachers of early childhood education program being participants. From this activity, it was concluded that physical/motoric development is part of basic skill development in kindergarten leading to activities for training children’s motoric skills, especially gross motoric skills, including walking, running, leaping, exercising, playing with ball, using tools, dancing, doing rhythmic exercise and combined moves.Keywords: Method Development, Gross Motor Skills ABSTRAKKegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pembekalan ilmu dan keterampilan kepada para guru pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) mengenai dua hal penting untuk sukses dalam mengembangkan kemampuan motorik kasar anak-anak usia dini, yaitu : memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dasar metode pengembangan motorik kasar anak usia dini melalui metode praktik langsung. Metode praktik langsung adalah metode yang dilakukan oleh guru dengan cara melakukan praktek secara langsung sesuai dengan materi yang akan disampaikan kepada anak-anak. Melalui kegiatan praktik langsung diharapkan anak mendapatkan pengalaman melalui interaksi langsung dengan objek.. Program kegiatan dilaksanakan selama satu hari, yaitu pada tanggal 30 April 2016 mulai pukul 07.30 hingga 17.00 di luar jam efektif belajar. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Plamboyan Kecamatan Tapung Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau dengan  peserta adalah guru-guru pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) yang berjumlah 24 orang. Kesimpulan kegiatan ini yaitu pengembangan fisik/motorik merupakan salah satu bagian pengembangan kemampuan dasar di TK yang mengarah pada kegiatan untuk melatih motorik anak khususnya motorik kasar anak yang terdiri atas gerakan-gerakan jalan, lari, lompat, senam, keterampilan dengan bola, keterampilan menggunakan peralatan, menari, latihan ritmik dan gerak gabungan. Kata Kunci: Metode Pengembangan, Motorik Kasar

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis community service activity aims to provide skills to teachers and students of SMPN 4 Tapung Hilir Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The material discussed in this activity is the writing and publication of scientific papers and basic technical training in public speaking. This activity was attended by 14 teachers and 30 students. The results of this activity are (1) teachers have the ability to write scientific papers, especially in classroom action research (PTK), (2) teachers know how to publish scientific papers in National Journals, (3) teachers can use published journals for the purposes of promotion, (4) students, especially student council members and Boy Scouts have the ability to communicate well. Keywords: Scientific Papers, Public Speaking. ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarkat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan keterampilan kepada para guru dan siswa SMPN 4 Tapung Hilir Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau. Materi yang dibahas dalam kegiatan ini yaitu penulisan dan publikasi karya tulis tulis ilmiah serta pelatihan teknik dasar public speaking. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 14 orang guru dan 30 orang siswa. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu  (1) guru memiliki kemampuan dalam menulis karya ilmiah khususnya dalam penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), (2) guru mengetahui cara mempublikasikan karya tulis ilmiah di Jurnal Nasional, (3) guru bisa menggunakan jurnal yang sudah terbit untuk keperluan kenaikan pangkat, (4) siswa khususnya anggota OSIS dan Pramuka memilki kemampuan berkomunikasi dengan baik. Kata Kunci: Karya Tulis Ilmiah, Public Speaking.

Abstract

This study aims to examine teachers' perceptions of inclusive physical education in Pekanbaru City and the identity of the factors that influence their perceptions from a socio-cultural perspective. This research is qualitative. The research subjects recruited were physical education teachers in Pekanbaru City. The selection of participants is based on two criteria: (i) teachers who have earned a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and (ii) teachers who teach students with disabilities in public and private junior high schools. Based on these criteria, only five physical education teachers were found. Individual interviews were conducted with each teacher. Deductive and inductive analysis processes are used to organize and report the data. The results showed that teachers believed general physical education classes were a good place to develop students with disabilities. Teachers realize that students with disabilities can have equal opportunities to participate in general physical education programs and develop social skills. Although the teachers recognized these benefits, they also expressed concern about the instructional and environmental barriers to the inclusion of students with disabilities in mainstream sports programs. Future research should address the importance of teachers' beliefs and practices about effective teaching in inclusive.

Abstract

This paper aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of articles published in the Scopus database on leadership and physical education. The bibliographic data set was administered using VOSviewer. According to the search results, there were a combined 614 articles on leadership and physical education studies. Additionally, the researchers restricted the search to English-language journal articles and the types of documents that may be found. Consequently, 427 articles worth of records were discovered. Based on publications in the Scopus database, the findings revealed that the development of publications in the fields of leadership and physical education has increased, although there is an up-and-down trend from year to year; “quest” became the first choice among other publication media to publish research results; Beauchamp from Canada is the most contributing and influential author on this topic; physical education, physical activity, leadership, curriculum, transformational leadership, adolescents, health, sport, professional development, and education are keywords that frequently feature in those. Therefore, by highlighting specific gaps, a thorough analysis of leadership in physical education might help scholars and practitioners advance current understanding in this field.

Abstract

This research scrutinized the scientometric objectivity of school leadership research in Asia. Publication records between 2018 and 2022 were extracted from Scopus and the Web of Science, after which the bibliographic data set was administered using ScientoPy and VOSviewer. A total of 958 publications were issued over the last five years, with 2020 having the highest number of published articles. The International Journal of Innovation, Creativity and Change was the most productive source (26 papers), Hallinger was the most published author, and “Examining school leadership effects on student achievement: the role of contextual challenges and constraints” had the most significant impact with 33 citations. The top 10 keywords were “leadership,” “higher education,” “transformational leadership,” “principal,” “education,” “school principals,” “school leadership,” “instructional leadership,” “educational leadership,” and “organizational commitment.” With 240 publications, Indonesia was Asia’s leading contributor in this research domain. The results indicated that school leadership research is important. It is recommended that future researchers extend this research to other regions, such as Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, and Australia, to gain a fuller picture of school leadership studies across the world.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah peningkatan keterampilan passing bawah bolavoli melalui metode Drill pada peserta didik SMP Negeri 35 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan dalam kelas dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan passing bawah bolavoli melalui metode drill. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah adalah keseluruhan peserta didik kelas VII2 SMPN 35 Pekanbaru yang berjumlah 35 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 36 siswa kelas V dan VI. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah Total Sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan rubrik penilaian teknik dasar permainan bolavoli pada passing bawah.Berdasarkan analisa dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan hasil penelitian bahwa terdapat peningkatan passing bawah bolavoli melalui metode drill pada peserta didik kelas VII.2 SMPN 35 Pekanbaru dengan peningkatan rata-rata keterampilan peserta didik pada saat siklus I dengan kategori kompeten namun belum mencapai nilai ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 80%, hanya mencapai nilai persentase sebesar 26% dengan jumlah peserta didik yang tuntas sebanyak 10 orang peserta didik serta dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 47,4. Sedangkan pada siklus II menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan peserta didik dalam melakukan gerakan passing bawah bolavoli sudah sangat baik dengan nilai ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 92% dengan jumlah peserta didik yang tuntas sebanyak 36 orang peserta didik serta dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 86,9.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu, tidak tercapainya kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) siswa pada materi lari jarak pendek. Hal ini dikarenakan metode yang diterapkan belum efektif sehingga pembelajaran tidak mencapai hasi yang maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pembelajaran lari sprint 100 meter menggunakan metode.. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 6 Pekanbaru dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 6 Pekanbaru yang berjumlah 31 orang. Teknik pemilihan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, teknik kepustakaan dan tes unjuk kerja . Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistic sederhana.. Dari pelaksanaan sebelum siklus terdapat 16 siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM (51,61%) dan 15 siswa yang belum mencapai nilai KKM (48,39%). Dilanjutkan dengan pelaksanaan siklus I dan hasilnya meningkat dengan jumlah 20 siswa yang mencapai KKM (64,52%) dan 11 siswa yang belum mencapai KKM (35,48%). Maka dilanjutkan dengan pelaksanaan siklus II dan hasilnya meningkat dengan jumlah 25 siswa yang mencapai KKM (80,65%) dan 6 siswa yang belum mencapai KKM (19,35%). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pembelajaran lari sprint 100 meter menggunakan metode bagian pada siswa kelas X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 6 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of the basic techniques of shooting football through the section method in SMA Negeri 1 Pangean District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This research is a class action research. More specifically this research is collaborative classroom action research, namely collaboration between researchers and field practitioners (Teachers). This research consists of several cycles, each cycle through stages, action planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were all students of class XI IPS2 of SMA Negeri 1, Pangean Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency with a total of 29 people. This study uses learning tools and data collection instruments rubric performance football shooting capabilities. In measuring the completeness of students, researchers used the assessment guidelines from the National Education Assessment Center. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the application of the part method can improve the basic technical skills of shooting soccer students in class XI IPS2 of SMA Negeri 1, Pangean Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency. Based on the findings of this study, it is hoped that physical education teachers can make the method part of the solution in improving students' basic technical skills in sports, especially soccer.

Abstract

This study aims to improve learning skills for soccer dribbling in class XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru by using the TGT (Teams Games Tournaments) type cooperative model. This type of research uses Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this study were 20 people consisting of 15 male students and 5 female students. The results showed that in cycle I there were 7 students who completed with a percentage of 35% and students who did not complete were 13 students with a percentage of 65%, while in cycle II there were 16 students who completed with a percentage of 80% and students who did not complete as many as 4 people with a percentage of 20%. Based on the results of research conducted through a 2-cycle process, it is concluded that the cooperative model type TGT (Teams Games Tournaments) can improve the football dribbling skills of class XI IPA 3 students of SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru. It is hoped that the TGT (Teams Games Tournaments) type of cooperative model can also be applied to all sports that are studied in schools.

Abstract

At this time the education system in the world is disrupted by the Covid-19 outbreak. So that the learning system changes drastically from face-to-face learning to online home learning. The purpose of this study was to determine student motivation in learning physical education in using e-learning in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 12 Pekanbaru during the Covid-19 pandemic. The type of this research is descriptive. The sample in this study amounted to 32 people. The research instrument used was the Likert scale or using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is to calculate the level of motivation categories owned by students in learning using e-learning. Based on the results of the study, the conclusions in this study were obtained, namely: the motivation of students in learning physical education in using e-learning in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 12 Pekanbaru was included in the value range of 61-80% or in the strong category with a percentage of 77.93%.
