Abstract

This research examines the effect of communication and job satisfaction on the performance of civil servants in Jambi Province in order to provide adequate input and knowledge for readers. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to employees with a Likert' scale of 1 – 2, used for analysis. The results showed that communication (X1) has no partial effect on performance (Y), while job satisfaction (X2) has a positive and significant effect on performance (Y). Similarly, there is a partial effect between communication (X1) and job satisfaction (X2) variables towards the performance (Y) on the Manpower and Transmigration Office employees in Jambi Province.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of organizational culture on performance through knowledge management. The sample in this study amounted to 259 lecturers at private universities in the city of Bandung. Two-level hierarchical linear modeling (HLM) is used to analyze hierarchical structure data in this study, namely at the lecturer level as an individual and at the study program as a group level. The results showed that organizational culture had a significant positive effect on knowledge management, knowledge management had a significant positive impact on performance, and organizational culture had a positive and significant impact on performance directly or indirectly.

Abstract

The existence of a negative stigma in society’s view for persons with disabilities makes them unable to show their optimal self-existence even though they competently have them. Not all industries or government agencies have implemented the rules whereby the agencies they manage should implement rules for employing persons with disabilities (the proportion is private sector 1 %, and government agencies 2%) referring to the rules mandated in Law no. 8 of 2016 concerning Persons with Disabilities. According to the perspective of Human Resources management, this is a challenge how the existence of persons with disabilities can get space without discrimination from all parties. The resultsof research showed that the inoptimal placement of human resources with disabilities occurred due to several factors, both from the person and the employer. The involvement of stakeholders has an important role in solving problems from associations, universities, communities and the government. Abstract

Gojek is one of the phenomenal transportation start-ups that use technology in most of its business activities. In managing many driver-partners, Gojek uses technology assistance, especially in carrying out recruitments, training, self-development, performance appraisal, and compensation. The use of technology in HR management from driver-partners has a positive impact and negative impact. The purpose of this research is to find the strengths, weaknesses, and problems that arise from the use of technology in managing the HR functions of Gojek driver-partners. This research used qualitative research methods. Researchers used a literature study to examine the use of technology in HR management from Gojek driver-partners and its problems. The use of technology lowers costs and increases efficiency. But it also causes several problems. It is hoped that this research can help companies and governments find an accurate solution for all parties. Other researchers can also use this research as the basis for further study.

Abstract

Islamic banking in Indonesia is experiencing an upward trend, which has an impact on the increasing demand for Islamic products. The organizational culture of Islamic banks is based on a system based on the Qur'an and As-Sunnah in the company's activities. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with 21 informants from various circles. The implementation of Islamic organizational culture in improving performance and carrying out activities based on the MASLAHAH cultural value in each employee becomes a guideline even though employee performance is still in the progress stage of achieving business plan targets.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) terhadap kemampuan berfikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) siswa pada kompetensi dasar perdagangan internasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan bentuk penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Subyek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Cililin tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh nilai signifikasi model sebesar 0,009 dengan nilai p-value sig lebih kecil dari 0,05, yang berarti bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT disertai media ular tangga terhadap kemampuan berfikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS), dengan nilai N Gain sebesar 0,35194.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan kuasi eksperimen berbentuk kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol pretes-postes, dengan perlakuan pendekatan pembelajaran kooperatif Think-Paire Share dan pembelajaran Two – Stay Two – Stray l. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan secara umum dapat ditark kesimpulan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Think-Pair Share dan model pembelajaran Two Stay – Two Stray dapat meningkatkan kemapuan berfikir kritis peserta didik.. Hasil perhitungan menunjukan bahwa nilai Sig. sebesar 0,000 (0,000<0,05) berarti terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemamuan berfikir kritis peserta didik antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas control. Pada Levene’s Test terlihat bahwa F =1,576 (p=0,127) karena p diatas 0,05, menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan varian pada nilai post testberarti data bersifat equal atau homogen. Terlihat pada t-test for Equality of Mean bahwa nilai t Hitung sebesar 10, 590 signifikasni >0.05 artinya t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel 1,9944 (dengan df = 70). Selain dari t Hitung perbedaan kemampuan berfikir kritis peserta pada kelas yang menggunakan metode Think-Pair Share dengan kelas yang menggunakan metode Two Stay – Two Stray dapat dilihat pada niai signifkansi yang diperoleh yaitu 0,000 yang mana hasil ini lebih keci dari signifikansi alpha yaitu 0,025. Dari hasil ini dapat dikatakan bahwa ada perbedaan kemampuan berfikir kritis peserta didik pada kelas yang menggunakan metode Think-Pair Share dengan kelas yang menggunakan metode Two Stay – Two Stray.

Abstract

Paradigma baik atau buruknya performa suatu perusahaan tidak terlepas dari kinerja sumber daya manusia sebagai motor penggeraknya. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan di suatu perusahaan seperti iklim organisasi yang menjadi ciri khas atau sebagai pembeda dari perusahaan lainnya dan etos kerja yang terdapat pada individu-individu karyawan. Pada penelitian ini akan membahas mengenai pengaruh iklim organisasi dan etos kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan dengan jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 80 responden pada suatu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang perkebunan pelat merah di Jawa Barat. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa iklim organisasi dan etos kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan baik secara parsial maupun simultan.

Abstract

The readiness of HR in welcoming industry 4.0 is a very important thing to pay attention to. Pertamina itself is now trying hard to support vendors who have technology, inventories or industries to synergize with educational institutions to assist the government in preparing human resources that are able to compete in welcoming industry 4.0. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of talent management and digital innovation capabilities on employee performance. The sample of this research is 150 employees of PT Pertamina RU-VI Balongan. This research design uses quantitative research with data analysis using a structural equation model (Structural Equation Modeling). Based on the results of the analysis, the structural equations model equations are Y = 0.44X1 + 0.60X2, these coefficients indicate that there is an influence of talent management and digital innovation capabilities on employee performance with a determinant coefficient (R2whichmeans 55% of management variables. talent and digital innovation capabilities can explain the performance of employees at PT Pertamina RU-VI Balongan. While the remaining 35% is influenced by other variables outside of this research variable.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of servant leadership on organizational commitment. The population is a lecturer in the Management Program of a Private University in Bandung. The sample consisted of 102 lecturers. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires. The data obtained were processed using simple linear regression. The results show that servant leadership has a positive and significant influence on organizational commitment. The higher the level of servant leadership application, the higher the level of organizational commitment possessed by the lecturer. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh servant leadesrship terhadap komitmen organisasional. Populasi adalah dosen Program Studi S1 Manajemen Universitas Swasta di Bandung. Sampel terdiri dari 102 dosen. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Data yang diperoleh diolah dengan menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa servant leadership dan kompetensi memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasional secara parsial dan simultan. Ini menunjukkan bahwa makin baik tingkat penerapan servant leadership, makin tinggi tingkat komitmen organisasional dan makin tinggi kompetensi yang dimiliki oleh dosen makin tinggi tingkat komitmen organisasional dosen.
