Abstract

AbstrakKriminalitas yang terjadi akibat kejahatan seksual banyak terjadi di mana-mana. Kejahatan ini bisa menimpa beberapa orang dan dari berbagai umur.  Dalam kasus ini pasti akan di temukan barang bukti di tempat kejadian perkara. Salah satu bukti akibat kejahatanseksual adalah bercak sperma. Bercak sperma dapat di temukan seperti pada pakaian yang digunakan korban atau pelaku. Dengan keterbatasan waktu yang dimiliki oleh polisi tentunyaperlu  cara  untuk  pengidentifikasi  siapa  pelaku  dari  kejahatan  tersebut.  Sampel  bercak sperma akan di isolasi DNA.   Isolasi DNA adalah memisahkan DNA yang ada pada sel sperma dengan komponen yang lainnya. Setelah DNA di dapatkan akan di ketahui kadar dankemurniannya. Hasil tersebut bisa di pengaruhi oleh media bercak sperma berada. Faktor- faktor tersebut salah satunya media air dan kain katun. Sifat kain katun adalah mempunyaikemampuan menyerap yang tinggi walaupun dalam keadaan basah sekalipun.  Setelah isolasi DNA, tahapan selanjutnya adalah amplifikasi. Proses amplifikasi dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakaan STR dengan lokus D13S317 dan D21S11.Kata kunci : Kriminal, Sperma, DNA, STR-CODIS

Abstract

AbstrakIdentifikasi usia forensik bertujuan untuk menentukan dengan cara yang paling akurat usia kronologis seseorang yang tidak diketahui atau diragukan keasliannya terlibat dalam proses hokum. Salah satu metode yang digunakan adalah untuk menilai penutupan epifisis pada tulang melalui pemeriksaan radiologi. Masalah utama penggunaan metode ini berhubungan dengan relevansi dan representatif populasi referensi yang tersedia karna dipengaruhi oleh genetik dan gizi maka di perlukan data yang dapat mewakili setiap populasi. Pemeriksaan radiologi tulang pergelangan tangan dari 68 pasien laki-laki usia 11-30 tahun dan 22 pasien perempuan usia 13-28 tahun di RSUD.Dr.Soetomo, Surabaya selama periode januari-april 2016 , dilakukan untuk menentukan waktu penutupan epifisis dari tulang radius dan ulna bagian distal. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif cross-sectional. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini pada laki-laki pada usia ≥17 sebagian besar tulang radius dan ulna bagian distal mengalami penutupan epifisis yang telah lengkap dan pada perempuan usia ≥16 sebagian besar tulang radius dan ulna bagian distal mengalami penutupan epifisis yang telah lengkap.Kata kunci—Usia ; Penutupan epifisis ; Radius dan Ulna distal ; Laki-laki ; Perempuan

Abstract

AbstrakTinggi badan adalah salah satu parameter yang sangat penting dalam identifikasi individu. Tidak setiap kasus forensik ditemukan tulang panjang, sehingga perlu merumuskan bagian tulang kepala untuk mengestimasi tinggi badan. Saat ini belum ada penelitian tentang estimasi tinggi badan berdasarkan ukuran kepala pada ras Mongoloid di Surabaya. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan cross sectional analitic. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan paling dominan di antara ukuran kepala, termasuk panjang kepala maksimum (g-op), lebar kepala maksimum (eu-eu), lingkar kepala (on-op), lebar mandibula (go-go), dan tinggi morfologi wajah (n-gn) dengan tinggi badan pada laki-laki dan perempuan ras Mongoloid di Pandean, Surabaya.Besar sampel penelitian ini adalah sebesar total populasi yang memenuhi kriteria, yakni laki-laki usia 25-40 tahun sebanyak 42 orang, dan perempuan 25- 40 tahun sebanyak 45 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan berdasarkan kriteria: Ras Mongoloid, berdiri tegak, bersedia menandatangani informed consent. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelompok laki-laki variabel tinggi morfologi wajah mempunyai hubungan paling dominan dengan tinggi badan dengan R2 sebesar 0,206 dan kelompok perempuan variabel lingkar kepala mempunyai hubungan paling dominan dengan tinggi badan dengan R2 sebesar 0,218. Dihasilkan formula regresi estimasi tinggi badan berdasarkan setiap variabel ukuran kepala pada kelompok laki-laki dan kelompok perempuan usia 25-40 tahun ras Mongoloid di Pandean, Surabaya..  Kata kunci—estimasi, kepala, tinggi badan

Abstract

Perkiraan umur sangat penting dalam analisis forensik. Umur individu lebih sering diperkirakan dengan menggunakan tulangdan gigi. Namun, hanya terbatas pada kasus tertentu yang berhubungan dengan kerangka manusia. Metilasi DNA merupakan salahsatu cara dalam memperkirakan umur di sampel biologis. Perkiraan umur menggunakan metode metilasi DNA dengan penggunaansampel air kemih hingga saat ini belum pernah ada yang melakukan, oleh sebab itu penelitian ini akan mengunakan isolasi metilasiDNA dalam memperkirakan umur individu di sampel airkemih. Di penelitian ini digunakan 6 sampel air kemih yang didapatkan daripendonor sehat. Tahap pertama adalah isolasi DNA dengan menggunakan DNAzol dan kloroform setelah itu, dikonversi bisulfit dengankit DNA metilasi. Hasil isolasi kemudian di amplifikasi dengan metode PCR dan di elektroforesis dengan gel agarosa. Hasil elektroforesisdapat sebagai acuan panjang pita yang di sekuensing. Hasil sekuensing dianalisis persen metilasinya dan korelasinya dengan perkiraanumur. Hasil dari pembacaan aplikasi dan perhitungan tersebut di sampel 001 menunjukkan 64,99%, sampel 002 menunjukkan 69,45%,sampel 003 menunjukkan 57,52%, sampel 4 menunjukkan 58,61%, sampel 005 menunjukkan 63,66% dan sampel 006 menunjukkan61,19%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini merupakan langkah awal dalam penggunaan metilasi DNA dalam perkiraan umur individu terutamadi sampel air kemih.

Abstract

The Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA) Republic of Indonesia recorded the occurrence of violence against women and children. In the period (1 January - 9 June 2021), there were 2,319 cases of violence against adult women with 2,347 victims and 3,314 cases of violence against children with 3,683 victims. Handling of victims of violence against women (KP) and victims of violence against children (KIA) in hospitals is not yet fully integrated and is similar to other general patient services. Hospital directors and staff must see cases of KP and KIA as cases that should be handled specifically so that victims receive comprehensive services both medically and legally, this paper is expected to be a reference procedure for hospitals that perform clinical forensic services in handling violence against women and children.

Abstract

It is assumed that Mongoloid’s migration came from western and northern part of Indonesia in various waves of migration. The migrant population then mixed with initial inhabitants, which are Australomelanesoid. The wave of migration moved further to the eastern Indonesia and mixed with migrant that entered from east (Papua). Some researches show that the concentration of mixture (hybridization) of migration was around Wallace’s line. Gilimanuk is one of prehistoric site that yields Neolithic human remains. It is assumed that Gilimanuk can give worthy information about human variation at that time. The aim of the research is to describe the human genetic variation at site of Gilimanuk. The material is DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) has been extracted from many piece of bone of Gilimanuk’s human remains. We used STR (short tandem repeat) two loci (THO1 and TPOX) to gain human genetic variation. The result show all of sample yields band with different allele. This evidence confirms that they have a genetic affinity is not the same, or their genes from several population.

Abstract

Highlights:1. Traffic accidents can cause different types of wounds.2. Traffic accident victims were predominantly male at the age of 26-45 years old. 3. The most found wounds were abrasions and the most affected area were head and neck. AbstractIntroduction: A traffic accident is an incident that happens on the road, such as a car crash that started on the road and leads to injury or death or damaged properties in the surrounding environment. Traffic accident injuries have a different pattern from any other events or violence, such as a mechanical injury due to friction with asphalt. The wounds that are usually found on the victims are abrasion, laceration, contusion, and wounds with fracture. About 70% of traffic accidents in Indonesia are happening in Java. The aim of this study was to determine the wound patterns of victims of traffic accidents, particularly deceased victims recorded in the Forensic Department of Raden Said Sukanto Bhayangkara Hospital Jakarta from January 2017 until December 2018.Methods: This was a descriptive study using secondary data. Consecutive sampling methods were used by using an external examination form obtained from the Forensic Department of Raden Said Sukanto Bhayangkara Hospital Jakarta from January 2017 until December 2018. Age, gender, and wound patterns such as abrasion, laceration, contusion, and wounds with fracture data were taken.Results: 67 cases of traffic accidents were recorded. Male victims were the most common victims (87.5%) within the age of 26–45 years old (42.18%). Abrasions were the most common wounds found (44.92%) and head and neck region were the most affected area (44.09%).Conclusion: The deceased victims of traffic accidents were mostly males aged 26–45 years old. The most common wound found were abrasions and the most affected areas were head and neck region.

Abstract

Forensic experts in uncovering the truth of a case must go through identification, documentation, and collection of evidence. Sometimes at a crime scene, lip prints are found on the surface of an object such as the mouth of a plastic bottle. Lip print research on plastic bottle mouths was carried out for 1, 3 and 7 days. There are 21 samples with details of 3 as controls, 6 samples for the first day, 6 samples for the 3rd day, and 6 samples for the 7th day. DNA extraction using DNAzol, quantification using UV spectrophotometer, and DNA amplification using STR primers, namely TPOX and TH01 loci. For DNA visualization using acrylamide gel. The average results of lip print DNA levels for 1, 3, and 7 days were 369.82 g/ml, 550.72 g/ml, 318.02 g/ml. The average yield of lip print DNA purity for 1, 3, and 7 days was 1.79; 1.78 and 1.79. From the results of DNA quantification, the lowest and highest DNA levels were taken on days 1, 3, and 7. Of the 6 samples and 3 controls amplified using the TPOX and TH01 loci, the results were clearly visible on the acrylamide gel band.

Abstract

The use of organophosphates (pesticides and other compounds to eradicate pests), currently, to increase the fulfillment of the population's consumption needs has a double-edged sword effect, on the one hand it can increase the need for food to be consumed by the population. The negative effect that can arise is the safety of organophosphate drugs which can contaminate the soil and water sources around the place where organophosphate drugs are used. The negative effects of organophosphates are associated with the effects of xenobiotics on humans who consume them. Xenobiotics are associated with toxicdynamic effects where organophosphates cause irreversible inhibition of the enzyme acetylcholinesterase (ACh). ACh is one of the main enzymes in the nervous system that terminates impulse conduction through the hydrolysis process of acetylcholine enzymes. Acetylcholinesterase is a specific molecular target of organophosphate pesticides. The inhibition of the Ach enzyme causes the inhibition of the acetylcholine enzyme which is normally always hydrolyzed by the Ach enzyme and is a specific biological marker of pesticide poisoning. Inhibition of ACh will cause the accumulation of the enzyme acetylcholine, resulting in negative effects of organophosphate poisoning which can lead to death. In this paper, the authors collect from various sources related to the study of molecular toxicology toxidynamic effects of drug safety and organophosphate poisoning. The results of this review article show that organophosphate poisoning is associated with irreversible inhibition of the acetylcholinesterase enzyme which results in death in the individual concerned.
