Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the value of time and patience in Surah Al-'Asr as the basis for developing teachers' pedagogic competencies in shaping the adaptability character of students in the digital era. In the context of modern education, rapid technological changes demand students to have high adaptability and flexibility. Therefore, the Islamic values contained in Surah Al-'Asr can be used as a guideline in shaping the character of resilient and resilient students. The research method used is a qualitative study with document analysis of various literature sources, including classical and contemporary interpretations as well as the latest research on character education and modern pedagogy. Data analysis techniques are carried out through identification, reduction, and interpretation of documents to find the relevance of time and patience values to teachers' pedagogic competence. The results showed that the value of appreciation for time helped students in developing discipline, planning, and efficiency in learning, while the value of patience formed mental and emotional resilience in facing academic and social challenges. Teachers with good pedagogic competence are able to integrate these two values in learning methods, such as through time management-based assignments and challenge-based learning that instills perseverance. The conclusion of this study confirms that the application of the value of time and patience in the educational process can increase students' discipline and creativity, forming a more adaptive and flexible character. The relevance of this research to education today is very significant, considering that the challenges of globalization and digitalization require students to have a strong character in facing the dynamics of change. The integration of Islamic values in modern pedagogy can be a solution in building a generation that is not only academically intelligent, but also has moral and spiritual resilience.

Abstract

The entry of Islam into the archipelago has occurred since the XII century. The spread of Islamic religious teachings did not escape the role of the wali songo, especially on the island of Java. Long before Islam entered the natives, the Javanese people had long embraced the teachings of animism, dynamism, Hinduism and Buddhism. acculturation in the context of Islamic religion and culture is the interaction between Islamic teachings and local culture. However, it should be underlined that local culture is still strong, so that there is a blend of local culture and Islamic culture. This combination is known as cultural acculturation. This study uses a qualitative research method type of literature study. Using various kinds of literature sources such as books, journals, and magazines as data collection. The result of the research is that the process of Islamization in the land of Java runs peacefully without any major conflicts. That illustrates that Islam is the religion of Lil Rahmatil "Alamiin. The method used by the Walisongo is also very intensive, they are able to see from the point of view the customs and traditions of the local population. The Walisongo took a peaceful path, they filled the local culture with Islamic teachings, both in terms of architecture, language, performing arts, songs, and traditional ceremonies. One of Walisongo's principles is Mau'idza Hasanah Wa Mujadallah Billati Hiya Ahsan.

Abstract

Purpose -The digital era poses both challenges and opportunities for Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) in Indonesia. This study investigates the strategic role of pesantren in fostering digital literacy to shape a generation of Muslims who are both critical and productive. The research aims to analyze how digital literacy is integrated into pesantren education and the strategies employed to align technological use with Islamic ethical values. Methods -Adopting a qualitative library research method, the study draws from a wide range of primary and secondary sources, including academic literature and documented case studies. Findings –The findings reveal several key strategies: integration of digital subjects into curricula, training and workshops for students and teachers, policy reinforcement on technology use, ethical digital education, and collaboration with external institutions. Research implications / limitations -Case studies from pesantren such as Nurul Jadid, Darunnajah, and Al-Muayyad demonstrate successful implementations through e-learning platforms, digital preaching programs, and content creation training. Despite notable challenges such as limited infrastructure, cultural resistance, and a lack of digital competence among educators the study affirms the potential of pesantren to serve as centers of ethical digital literacy. Originality -The research contributes new insights by highlighting a rarely explored intersection between Islamic education and digital transformation, thus offering a valuable model for integrating religious values with technological advancement in education.

Abstract

Darunnajah University's International Community Service Program (KKN) aims to improve literacy in Malaysia. Through the theme "Strategy to Improve Students' Literacy Skills at SB At-Tanzil Putra Kajang, Malaysia," this activity combines interactive teaching, character education, and literacy development. Participatory methods are applied, involving teachers, parents, and the local community, to ensure the sustainability of the program. The results reflect an increase in students' literacy and character skills, with a balance between faith and technology as the main focus. This program emphasizes the importance of holistic education to produce a superior and globally competitive generation, while strengthening bilateral relations in the field of education.

Abstract

This article examines the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in Islamic education as a response to the challenges and opportunities presented by the digital era. Using a qualitative library research method, the study explores literature related to the integration of technology within Islamic educational systems. AI is considered capable of improving educational quality through personalized learning approaches, technology-based curriculum development, and enhanced administrative efficiency. In this context, AI can enrich the learning experience by supporting interactive, flexible, and student-centered education. However, the implementation of AI also faces various challenges, including infrastructure limitations, insufficient teacher training, and ethical issues such as the protection of students' personal data. The study finds that the integration of AI into Islamic education in Indonesia has already begun in several institutions, although its adoption remains uneven. Therefore, supportive policies, targeted training programs, and cross-sector collaboration among government bodies, educational institutions, and technology developers are essential. In conclusion, AI holds significant potential to improve the effectiveness of Islamic education, but its implementation must be approached with caution to ensure alignment with Islamic moral and ethical values. This article provides strategic recommendations to encourage the ethical, adaptive, and sustainable use of AI in the Islamic education ecosystem. Artikel ini mengkaji penerapan kecerdasan buatan (artificial intelligence/AI) dalam pendidikan Islam sebagai respons terhadap tantangan dan peluang di era digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka kualitatif dengan menelaah literatur yang membahas integrasi teknologi dalam sistem pendidikan Islam. AI dinilai mampu meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran melalui pendekatan yang dipersonalisasi, pengembangan kurikulum berbasis teknologi, serta efisiensi dalam manajemen pendidikan. Dalam konteks ini, AI dapat memperkaya proses pembelajaran yang interaktif, fleksibel, dan sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik. Namun, implementasi AI juga menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur, minimnya pelatihan bagi pendidik, serta isu etika dan perlindungan data pribadi peserta didik. Studi ini menemukan bahwa integrasi AI dalam pendidikan Islam di Indonesia telah dimulai di sejumlah lembaga pendidikan, namun penerapannya masih belum merata. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan kebijakan yang mendukung, program pelatihan, serta kolaborasi lintas sektor antara pemerintah, institusi pendidikan, dan pengembang teknologi. Kesimpulannya, AI memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pendidikan Islam, namun implementasinya harus dilakukan secara bijak agar tetap sejalan dengan nilai-nilai moral dan etika Islam. Artikel ini menawarkan rekomendasi strategis guna mendorong pemanfaatan AI secara etis, adaptif, dan berkelanjutan dalam ekosistem pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh krisis pendidikan modern yang cenderung sekuler dan kehilangan dimensi spiritual, serta pentingnya mengkaji relevansi pemikiran tokoh pendidikan Islam kontemporer terhadap praktik pendidikan di pesantren. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) menganalisis konsep pendidikan menurut Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas, dan (2) mengkaji relevansi konsep pendidikan Al-Attas terhadap konsep pendidikan di Pesantren Darunnajah 2 Cipining. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode library research (penelitian kepustakaan) yang diperkuat dengan pendekatan filosofis dan historis. Data primer diperoleh dari karya-karya Al-Attas, terutama The Concept of Education in Islam, sedangkan data sekunder berasal dari berbagai literatur pendukung. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif, induktif, historis, dan interpretasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Pertama, konsep pendidikan Al-Attas berpusat pada konsep ta'dib yang komprehensif, mencakup penanaman adab, islamisasi ilmu pengetahuan, penghormatan terhadap fitrah, integrasi pengetahuan dalam kerangka tauhid, dan pendidikan holistik yang mengembangkan aspek intelektual, spiritual, dan moral secara seimbang. Kedua, konsep pendidikan Al-Attas memiliki relevansi signifikan dengan pendidikan di Pesantren Darunnajah 2 Cipining, tercermin dalam: penerapan konsep adab dalam sistem pengasuhan santri, integrasi ilmu agama dan umum dalam kurikulum, pengembangan fitrah santri melalui pendekatan individual, peran sentral kyai dan ustadz sebagai model spiritual, serta pendidikan holistik yang mencakup aspek ibadah, akhlak, intelektual, dan keterampilan. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam meneliti pemikiran Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas dalam dunia pendidikan dan merelevansikan pemikiran tersebut dalam    pengembangan sistem pendidikan pesantren Darunnajah 2 Cipining.

Abstract

Peran kepala sekolah merupakan hal yang paling penting dalam mewujudkan visi dan misi lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian berdasarkan studi pustaka (kepustakaan) data-data yang diperoleh beserta referensi yang didapatkan dari perpustakaan, buku, ensiklopedia, jurnal, dokumen, media sosial, blog, artikel dan majalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru di MTs Darunnajah 02 Cipining Bogor. Strategi kepala sekolah sangat diperlukan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru, dengan adanya strategi kepala sekolah maka akan memudahkan kepala sekolah dalam mencapai tujuan yang telah direncanakan. Sehingga dengan adanya strategi serta kompetensi guru yang berkualitas akan memicu peserta didik berkompetensi, berkualitas, dan memiliki daya saing tinggi.

Abstract

Manajemen Ketatausahaan adalah suatu aturan atau peraturan yang terdapat dalam suatu proses kerja, yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan yang meliputi penyimpanan dan pengarsipan, dan pengawasan untuk mencapai suatu tujuan yang diharapkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni studi riset kepustakaan (library research). Penelitian kepustakaan yaitu jenis penelitian yang dilakukan dengan membaca buku-buku atau majalah dan sumber data lainnya untuk menghimpun data dari berbagai literatur, baik perpustakaan maupun di tempat-tempat lain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep manajemen ketatausahaan di sekolah adalah kegiatan administrasi pendidikan yang mengelola pencatatan, pengumpulan, penyimpanan data, dan dokumen yang dapat dipergunakan untuk membantu pimpinan dalam pengambilan keputusan, urusan surat menyurat serta laporan mengenai kegiatan sekolah. kegiatan ketatausahaan meliputi: perencanaan, koordinasi, pengendalian, monitoring, dan evaluasi kegiatan ketatatusahaan dan administrasi tugas-tugas sekolah. Ada delapan tugas tenaga administrasi yaitu: menulis surat, membaca, menyalin (mengandakan), menghitung, memeriksa, memilah (menggolongkan dan menyatukan), menyimpan dan menyusun indeks, melakukan komunikasi (lisan dan tertulis) Kegiatan tata usaha sekolah ditujukan untuk memperlancar proses penyelenggaraan seluruh kegiatan sekolah, diwujudkan berupa pemberian pelayanan kepada siswa, guru/pegawai non guru, kepala sekolah dan staf serta semua pihak yang berhubungan dengan sekolah dalam membuat dan apabila memerlukan data dan informasi tertulis.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the management process for improving teacher pedagogical competence at Madrasah Aliyah Darunnajah 2 Cipining Bogor and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors. This type of this research is descriptive-qualitative research, with data collection methods through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed descriptively by data reduction, presentation, and data verification. The results of this study indicate that efforts to improve teacher pedagogical competence at Madrasah Aliyah Darunnajah 2 Cipining have gone well and are quite effective, planning is made based on an analysis of school needs, the principal works with the team he has made, the activities which been carried out are IHT, MGMP, ta'hil mudarrisin, and educational supervision, the evaluation is carried out at the end by holding teacher exams and distributing questionnaires. Supporting factors include: the number of education experts, the availability of facilities and infrastructure, the support and leadership of the school principal, relevants of communication media, and the awareness of each teacher. While the inhibiting factors include: the quick change of curriculum, many newbie teachers, a busy educational calendar, resistance to change, and low motivation.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the principal's management in strengthening student character education based on the 2013 curriculum at MTs Darunnajah 2 Cipining Bogor. In the research that has been carried out, the author formulated a problem formulation, namely 1) How is the principal's management in strengthening student character education based on the 2013 curriculum. Based on the problem formulation, it covers a wide range of various aspects in strengthening student character education based on the principal's management. The research I conducted aimed to understand the management of school principals in strengthening students' character education based on the 2013 curriculum. The results of the research obtained developed hypotheses using theories put forward by experts, especially those closely related to the role and management of school principals. The research was conducted using qualitative descriptive methods in obtaining research results through interviews, observation and documentation methods. This research is aimed specifically at school principals and educational staff.
