Abstract

Dodol Garut is a traditional culinary product that represents regional identity and serves as an icon of the creative and tourism industries in West Java. This study aims to examine the mediating role of perceived authenticity in the relationship between storytelling strategies, local cultural values, and consumer loyalty. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that storytelling strategies significantly influence consumer loyalty both directly and indirectly through perceived authenticity. In contrast, local cultural values do not directly affect consumer loyalty but have a significant indirect effect through perceived authenticity. These results highlight that cultural values alone are insufficient to build loyalty unless they are transformed into perceived authenticity through effective narrative communication. This study contributes to culture-based marketing literature by positioning perceived authenticity as a key mediating mechanism in fostering consumer loyalty in traditional culinary products.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality and business diversification on customer satisfaction through customer experience, with trust as a moderating variable at gas stations (SPBU) operated by PT Pangandaran Putra. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method involving 150 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that service quality and business diversification have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, both directly and indirectly through customer experience. Customer experience is proven to act as a significant mediating variable, while trust has a positive effect on customer satisfaction but shows a negative moderating effect on the relationship between customer experience and satisfaction. These findings highlight that customer satisfaction is not only determined by service quality and business diversification but also by customer experience as a key mechanism, supported by customer trust.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar matematika berbasis etnomatematika dengan mengintegrasikan unsur arsitektur Rumah Gadang Minangkabau melalui penerapan teknologi Deep Learning. Pendekatan ini dirancang untuk mendorong pengalaman belajar yang kontekstual, interaktif, dan adaptif dalam memenuhi kebutuhan beragam siswa sekaligus menumbuhkan kesadaran budaya dalam pendidikan matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan mengacu pada model Borg dan Gall, yang mencakup tahapan sistematis mulai dari perancangan, pengembangan, hingga validasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 15 siswa SMA, dan validasi ahli dilakukan oleh tiga pakar dalam bidang pendidikan matematika dan teknologi pembelajaran. Hasil validasi menunjukkan skor kelayakan sebesar 90% yang termasuk dalam kategori “sangat valid”. Selain itu, 85% siswa menunjukkan ketertarikan yang tinggi terhadap pendekatan berbasis etnomatematika karena relevansi budayanya, sementara 65% memberikan respon positif terhadap integrasi teknologi Deep Learning. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggabungan konteks budaya dengan aplikasi teknologi modern dapat secara bermakna meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual siswa terhadap matematika. Secara teoretis, penelitian ini memperkuat kerangka matematika kontekstual sebagai dasar bagi pedagogi yang responsif terhadap budaya. Secara praktis, penelitian ini memberikan wawasan yang berharga bagi pendidik dan pengembang kurikulum dalam merancang bahan ajar yang inklusif, adaptif, dan relevan secara budaya, selaras dengan kemajuan teknologi dan kearifan lokal.

Abstract

This study examines the engagement process of mathematics teachers in improving their pedagogical competence by integrating technology into contextual learning. The integration of technology into the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) approach offers significant opportunities to enhance teacher professionalism. Studies of CTL have shown that such an approach enriches pedagogical competence, strengthens content mastery, and encourages teachers to adapt to digital innovations, develop reflective and analytical practices, and pursue continuous improvement in mathematics teaching. However, many teachers still experience gaps in this technology, particularly in digital literacy, resistance to change, and limited access to adequate facilities and training. This study engaged a community of senior high school mathematics teachers in Bandung, Indonesia, and 56 participants joined the project. The project involved the design and implementation of a digital technology training program to develop learning materials, including teaching modules, electronic learning resources, electronic worksheets (kinesthetic, visual, and auditory), activities for solving non-routine mathematics problems, peer-teaching simulations, and reflective practice. Based on questionnaire, interview, and documentation results, the findings indicate a significant improvement in CTL-based mathematics instruction through technology integration. The evaluation criteria were rated as very good, particularly in the use of AI, AR, ThingLink, and GeoGebra. As a result, this community engagement initiative facilitated the effective implementation of technology-based CTL in enhancing the quality of classroom interaction, conceptual presentation, and student learning motivation, while simultaneously strengthening teachers’ professionalism and their ability to evaluate and refine their teaching practice.
