Abstract

This study explores operational risk management in the context of homestays, a rapidly growing segment of the tourism industry. Specifically, the research aims to identify key operational risk management indicators tailored for homestays, focusing on homestay users in Nglanggeran Tourism Village, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. A total of 156 respondents, all with prior experience in the area, participated in the study, which employed multi-stage sampling and triangulated data collection methods. The research utilized an explanatory design, with data analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). To complement the quantitative findings, in-depth interviews were conducted with homestay managers and participants. The study investigated three primary variables: operational risk management, user satisfaction, and user loyalty. The results show that effective operational risk management has a positive and significant impact on user satisfaction. Furthermore, user satisfaction is a key driver of user loyalty, as satisfied users are more likely to revisit and recommend the homestay to others. This study provides valuable insights into the role of operational risk management in enhancing user experience and fostering long-term customer loyalty in the homestay sector.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of digital marketing and product quality on customer loyalty with brand awareness as a mediating variable in the fashion industry on the Shopee platform. The research method used is a quantitative approach with purposive sampling technique, involving 100 fashion customer respondents in Sukabumi. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with SmartPLS 3. The results showed that product quality has a positive and significant effect on brand awareness, which in turn has a positive impact on customer loyalty. However, digital marketing has no significant direct influence on brand awareness or customer loyalty. In addition, brand awareness was shown to significantly mediate the relationship between product quality and customer loyalty. The managerial implications of these findings suggest that fashion companies on Shopee need to focus more on improving product quality to build strong brand awareness, which will ultimately increase customer loyalty. Digital marketing strategies remain relevant as support, but are not a dominant factor in shaping loyalty in the absence of solid brand awareness.

Abstract

E-commerce, commonly known as online shopping, is an indirect transaction process facilitated through the internet and various digital platforms, allowing users to purchase or sell products and services. This involves the use of intermediary applications, and customers can directly buy goods or services. The focus of this research is to examine the categories and scope of legal safeguards provided to both buyers and sellers dealing with non-compliant items. Additionally, it aims to explore the responsibilities of corporate entities in addressing these issues within the realm of online commerce. In conducting this study, a normative legal research approach is utilized, which involves a qualitative analysis of existing legal norms within current laws and regulations. The research reveals two key aspects: 1) The safeguarding of consumers in instances where online transactions fail to meet agreed-upon terms, and 2) The examination of business actors' responsibilities to establish additional agreements with customers from the viewpoints of ITE UU and UUPK. Theoretical considerations suggest that contractual liabilities related to electronic transactions can render corporate actors accountable.

Abstract

The research focuses on evaluating the project time planning to know exactly when the project will be completed, the estimated budget to be spent, using the CPM and PERT methods to carry out an analysis of the SDS X Development Project Planning Evaluation. The results are with the CPM and PERT methods, the project's critical path is found in activities A – D – E – F – G – H – I – L – M – N with a project completion time using the CPM method is 52 days, while for the PERT method the project completion time is 54 days with a great chance of completing project work of 99, 94%. As for the results of the evaluation of cost planning using the crashing project method, it was found that there was an increase in costs of Rp. 6,902,000. So that the normal cost of a development project which is IDR 372,126.00 becomes IDR 379,028,000

Abstract

Selection of the type of support that is appropriate to the load will affect the mechanical and physical properties. Using a good type of support and in accordance with welding procedures can have an influence on the welding results (weldability properties). The comparison of the mechanical properties of V-joints to U-joints is that the maximum tensile stress value between V-joints and U-joints is a maximum of 477.17 N/mm2, while the maximum tensile stress value of V-joints is 453.12 N/mm2. The strain value between the V seam connection and the U seam connection is 20%, while the strain value for the V seam connection is 30%. The yield stress value between the V seam joint and the U seam joint is found in the U seam joint with a yield stress value of 356.05 N/mm2, while the yield stress value for the V seam joint is 337.6 N/mm2. The modulus of elasticity value between the V seam connection and the U seam connection is 2,518.09 N/mm2, while the modulus of elasticity value for the V seam connection is 1,529.43 N/mm2.

Abstract

In terms of access to mobilization/demobilization and the location is very steep, the dump load is minimal due to poor access. Very high rainfall has resulted in further delays in the implementation of work. ACBC (Asphalt Concrete Binder Course) asphalt foundation and top layer or asphalt surface wear layer ACWC (Asphalt Wearing Course) for the material used, namely Asphalt Emulsion CSS -1 or SS -1 layer thickness (AC-BC) solid with a thickness of 0.6 cm with a loose thickness of 7.4 cm, the layer thickness (AC-WC) was solid with a thickness of 0.5 cm and a loose thickness of 6.4 cm. AC-WC compaction is divided into 3 parts, namely first compaction (breakdown rolling), second compaction (intermediate rolling), final compaction (final rolling). The first compaction is carried out when the temperature reaches 111 C to 102 C or about 0 – 10 minutes from the time the AC – WC is held. This ride uses a tandem roller with the number of tracks according to the trial compaction. The second compaction is carried out at a temperature of 102 C to 83 C or about 10-20 minutes since the AC-WC was held. This event uses a Pneumatic Roller with the number of passes according to trial compaction. The final compaction was carried out at a temperature of 83 C to 63 C or around 20-45 minutes since the AC-WC was held. This event uses a Pneumatic Tandem Roller with 12 to 15 passes. In the work of the Cikowoan – Kadut Road Improvement Reconstruction Project in Majalengka Regency, the tools used are Mini Excavators, Asphalt Tanks and assistive devices (asphalt sprayer), Dump trucks, Tandem combin rollers, Mini iron wheel compactor machines (baby roller), soil compactor machine.

Abstract

In the digital era, social movements increasingly take place on online platforms where hashtags function as tools for mobilization, identity, and solidarity. This study explores how hashtags encourage collective action among Indonesian netizens by examining participation patterns, perceived impacts, and barriers to digital activism. Using a mixed-method design, data were gathered from a survey of 400 respondents across Indonesia and supported by digital content observation and case studies. Results show that youth aged 21–30 and students are the most active participants, mainly using Twitter and Instagram. Most engage weekly, and sharing or reposting hashtags is the dominant form of participation, while offline involvement remains limited. Hashtags are considered highly effective in promoting awareness and unity but less influential in shaping policy outcomes. Challenges include short-lived attention, misinformation, and online harassment. The findings highlight that hashtag activism in Indonesia strengthens collective consciousness yet struggles to achieve structural change, emphasizing the need to integrate digital advocacy with community-based and offline initiatives for sustainable impact.
