Abstract

Motivasi belajar sangat mempengaruhi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran daring dan tatap muka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan motivasi belajar siswa saat pembelajaran daring dan tatap muka di era new normal pada siswa kelas XII IPS di SMA Negeri 18 Kabupaten Tangerang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kausal komparatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode sampling yang dipakai yaitu simple random sampling dan diperoleh 57 orang sebagai subjek penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji analisis paired sample t-test. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian yaitu adanya perbedaan motivasi belajar siswa saat pembelajaran daring dan tatap muka. Menurut teori ARCS Keller saat daring, proses diskusi cenderung pasif, kurangnya kepercayaan diri siswa untuk bertanya dan dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan belajar yang kurang kondusif. Berbeda dengan saat tatap muka, siswa cenderung lebih berani yang membuat pembelajaran menjadi lebih interaktif dan dipengaruhi oleh suasana belajar yang mendukung.

Abstract

Students' interest in the subject of sociology varies, and some of them may be less enthusiastic about the subject, so an approach that caters to individual students' needs is necessary. The aim of this research is to outline the crucial role of teachers in implementing differentiated learning strategies in sociology and its impact on enhancing students' interest in the subject. This study utilizes a qualitative approach using a descriptive methodology, and data is gathered through observations, interviews, and document analysis. The research is carried out at SMAN 2 Pandeglang, located in the Banten Province. The research findings reveal several key points: (1) Teachers apply various customized learning strategies, such as grouping students based on their abilities, providing diverse learning resources, and assigning projects that align with students' interests. (2) Teachers act as facilitators, assisting students in identifying their interests, providing guidance, and challenging students according to their individual abilities. (3) The outcome of implementing differentiated learning is that students become more engaged in the learning process because they perceive the subject matter as relevant to their interests and personal experiences. In conclusion, the role of teachers is pivotal in cultivating students' interest in sociology at SMAN 2 Pandeglang through the implementation of tailored learning strategies. Teachers need to function as facilitators who understand students' needs and interests to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, technological development is very fast, especially in the form of digital media which is widely used by the community, especially in the field of education. Digital media used in the learning process provides benefits to support the achievement of learning outcomes. Proper utilization of digital media and the existence of strategies in the application of appropriate digital media are considered effective in the learning process. At this time, students are considered a generation that includes digital literacy where they are accustomed to using digital media in their daily lives, especially in the school environment. However, there are still many students out there who still cannot fully utilize digital media due to various constraints, especially limitations in access to technology. The purpose of writing this article is to explain the utilization of digital media in the world of education, especially where digital media can facilitate the presentation of material by educators and add insight into knowledge for educators and students.

Abstract

The development of students' emotional intelligence at SMA Negeri 1 Tirtayasa is not yet completely perfect because there are still some students who are not yet able to recognize or manage their emotions, and there are even students who still behave unnaturally because they depend on how their friends treat them. This is motivated by several factors, especially broken homes, which in this case greatly influence the child's mental and emotional development process. The next factor is a family that is less harmonious, this can also affect the child's mental and emotional development process because the child will feel that he is not cared for enough so that the child looks for attention in the surrounding environment, even within the child there will definitely be feelings of anger towards other people because The child is jealous of his friend who lives in a perfect and harmonious family. In this research, the focus is on the role of sociology teachers in efforts to develop students' emotional intelligence at SMA Negeri 1 Tirtayasa. The teacher provides direction such as advice, guidance, and also a sense of security so that students feel safe when they want to tell what is happening inside them.

Abstract

Musik Korea atau yang dikenal dengan K-Pop, menjadi salah produk budaya Korea yang sangat diminati oleh banyak orang di seluruh dunia, termasuk Indonesia. Kepopuleran K-Pop di Indonesia mendorong para remaja hingga dewasa untuk mengidolakan para boy group atau girl group K-Pop dengan antusias yang tinggi. Penggemar K-Pop atau biasa disebut K-Popers rela mengeluarkan uang untuk membeli berbagai merchandise, mulai dari harga terjangkau hingga yang paling mahal. Berangkat dari masalah tersebut, penulis bermaksud melakukan penelitian untuk memahami pola konsumsi penggemar K-Pop dalam mengonsumsi merchandise K-Pop. Adapun penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori masyarakat konsumsi Jean Baudrillard, yang menyatakan bahwa pola konsumsi masyarakat post-modern saat ini tidak lagi didasarkan pada fungsi dan nilai guna, melainkan nilai tanda dan citra pada suatu barang. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa popularitas budaya Korea, khususnya musik K-Pop telah mempengaruhi pola konsumsi mahasiswa penggemar K-Pop di jurusan Pendidikan Sosiologi Untirta hingga membentuk konsumsi tanda. Dengan mengonsumsi berbagai jenis merchandise K-Pop, mereka berupaya membangun citra dan identitas yang ingin disampaikan kepada orang lain.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the feasibility and practicality of flipbook-based e-modules in class the. (Sugiyono, 2012:297). This research uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. In this model, it only reaches the evaluation stage which is obtained from suggestions or comments from validators and students to be used as a reference for improving the product that will be used. The results of the data analysis described above consist of 3 discussions, namely (1) media expert trial results, (2) material expert trial results, and (3) student trial results. The results obtained from the media expert validation data analysis namely the total obtained is 54 out of a maximum total of 75. Based on these calculations, the average product validation obtained by media experts is 72%, so it can be seen that this E-Module product is found between 61-80% (Good) Ahmi validation data analysis material, namely the total obtained is 40 out of a maximum total of 50. Based on these calculations, the average product validation obtained by material experts is 80%, so it can be seen that this E-Module product is between 61-80% (Good). The results of the total student assessment obtained were 2319 out of a maximum total of 2520. Based on the t calculation, an average score of 92% was obtained. It can be seen that this E-Module product is between 81-100% (Very Good).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan media digital flipbook pada materi konflik sosial di kelas XI SMA 3 Kota Serang berdasarkan hasil uji ahli dan uji respon pengguna. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Reasearch and Development (R&D) dengan desain penelitian 4D (define, desain, develop, dan disseminate). Akan tetapi pada penelitian ini hanya sampai pada tahap develop. Penelitian dilakukan di FKIP Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa dan SMAN 3 Kota Serang. Pada tahap define dilakukan analisis awal-akhir. Pada tahap design mempersiapkan semua kebutuhan yang akan digunakan dalam merancang digital flipbook sesuai dengan hasil pada tahap define. Pada tahap develop dilakukan validasi ahli dan uji respon pengguna. Hasil penilaian kelayakan digital flipbook materi konflik sosial mendapatkan nilai 80% dengan kriteria layak pada validasi ahli materi, 95,6% dengan kriteria sangat layak pada validasi ahli media, 87,5% dengan kriteria sangat layak pada uji respon pengguna (Guru) dan 71,8% dengan kriteria layak pada uji respon pengguna (siswa). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa digital flipbook materi konflik sosial “layak” untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran sosiologi dengan memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 73,5%.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of sociology teachers in implementing character education values, particularly tolerance and social care, at SMA Negeri 95 Jakarta. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The research informants consist of the school principal, sociology teachers, and nine students, totaling eleven informants. The results show that the implementation of character education values, especially tolerance and social care, has been successfully carried out. Sociology teachers play a crucial role in instilling the values of tolerance and social care in classroom learning and through various structured and systematic school programs and activities. These programs include routine school activities such as "Clean Friday," involving the entire school community, which represents diversity. Additionally, these efforts foster attitudes aligned with the school's goals of social care and living harmoniously with existing differences.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the feasibility and practicality of animaker-based sociology learning media on social conflict material for class. This research uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. In this model, it only reaches the evaluation stage which is obtained from suggestions or comments from validators and students to be used as a reference for the product to be used. The results of the data analysis described above consist of 3 discussions, namely (1) media expert trial results, (2) material expert trial results, and (3) student trial results. The results obtained from the media expert validation data analysis were a total of 72 out of a maximum total of 85. Based on these calculations, the average product validation obtained by media experts was 84%, so it can be seen that this animaker-based sociology learning media product is found among 81<100% very decent. Analysis of material expert validation data, namely a total of 44 out of a maximum total of 65. Based on these calculations, the average product validation by material experts is 67%, so it can be seen that this animaker-based sociology learning media product is found between 61-80%. (worthy). The results of the total student assessment obtained were 74%, it can be seen that the Animaker-based sociology learning media product was between 61<80% (feasible).

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggambarkan Makna Pembelajaran Tatap Muka Terbatas Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19 Bagi Siswa di SMAN 1 Cikeusal. Jenis penelitiam yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah obesrvasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan yang terlibat merupakan Siswa, Guru, dan wakil kepala sekolah bidang kesiswaan di SMAN 1 Cikeusal Kabupaten Serang Provinsi Banten. 6 siswa sebagai informan utama, 2 guru, dan 1 wakil kepala sekolah bidang kesiswaan sebagai informan pendukung. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas mengandung makna bagi siswa, karena menjadi solusi yang lebih efektif dalam mengembalikan kemampuan akademik, keterampilan, dan sikap atas situasi yang mengarah pada “learning loss” atau hilangnya kemampuan secara akademik, keterampilan, dan sikap dari siswa setelah pembelajaran normal dihentikan dan digantikan dengan pembelajaran jarak jauh secara daring di rumah. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori Intreraksionisme Simbolik George Herbert Mead, pandangan utama teori ini yaitu: pikiran (mind), diri (self), masyarakat (society).
