This study aims to explore the role of fathers in supporting the mental health of Sociology Education students from the 2022 cohort at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, this research delves into students’ subjective experiences regarding the emotional and psychological support provided by their fathers. The main focus is to examine how a father's presence, communication, and involvement contribute to students' mental stability in facing academic and social pressures within the university environment. The findings reveal that students who have a close and communicative relationship with their fathers tend to possess higher self-confidence, emotional stability, and stronger adaptive abilities. Conversely, the absence or lack of emotional involvement from fathers can lead to anxiety, loneliness, and even social withdrawal. These findings emphasize that a father's role is not limited to fulfilling material needs but also as an emotional support figure who plays a vital role in shaping psychological resilience in children, especially during the transitional phase into adulthood and independence.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena bertahannya kesenian tradisional Ubrug di Kampung Linggarjati, Kota Cilegon, di tengah tekanan modernisasi dan industrialisasi yang masif. Sebagai kota industri, Cilegon mengalami perubahan struktur sosial yang cenderung mengarah pada pola hidup individualistik dan rasional, yang berpotensi menggerus eksistensi seni tradisi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran sosial kesenian Ubrug, bentuk interaksi yang terjalin, serta strategi adaptasi masyarakat dalam mempertahankan identitas budayanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipatif, dokumentasi, dan wawancara mendalam dengan informan kunci yang terdiri dari pelaku seni (Teater Wonk Kite), tokoh masyarakat, dan warga setempat. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan perspektif Teori Fungsionalisme Struktural dan Interaksionisme Simbolik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di tengah masyarakat industri Linggarjati, Ubrug tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana hiburan (entertainment), tetapi telah bertransformasi menjadi mekanisme pertahanan sosial (social defense mechanism). Secara manifest, Ubrug berperan sebagai media kritik sosial dan pendidikan moral yang disampaikan melalui humor kontekstual. Secara laten, Ubrug berfungsi sebagai perekat solidaritas sosial yang memulihkan hubungan komunal (Gemeinschaft) yang terfragmentasi oleh sistem kerja industri. Ubrug juga dimaknai sebagai simbol identitas kolektif masyarakat Banten dan sarana nostalgia budaya. Keberlangsungannya didukung oleh strategi adaptasi komunitas melalui improvisasi isu kontemporer, meskipun masih menghadapi tantangan struktural berupa keterbatasan ruang publik dan regenerasi pelaku seni.

Penelitian ini mengangkat data, fakta dan realita. Masalah yang di angkat terfokus pada inkonsistensi motivasi, komunikasi, dan kompetensi serta prestasi belajar siswa kelas x. Tujuannya guna meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dapat di lakukan dengan cara memotivasi peserta didik dalam belajar, membangun komunikasi secara interaktif, dan mengembangkan kompetensi sebagai hasil belajar yang dicapai oleh peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Adapun Populasi sebanyak 137 Peserta Didik dengan menggunakan Probability Sampling dan Cluster Random Sampling. Sehingga, di peroleh sampel sebanyak 58 responden. Data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan pendekatan Observasi, Kuesioner dan Dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian dapat di simpulkan bahwa motivasi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran sosiologi pada siswa kelas X di SMAN 1 pandeglang. Komunikasi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran sosiologi pada siswa kelas X di SMAN 1 pandeglang. Kompetensi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran sosiologi pada siswa kelas X di SMAN 1 pandeglang. Motivasi, komunikasi, dan kompetensi berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap prestasi belajar.Kata Kunci: Kompetensi, Komunikasi, Motivasi, Prestasi Belajar. AbstractThis research raises data, facts and reality. The problems raised focused on the inconsistency of motivation, communication, and competence and learning achievement of class ten students. The goal is to improve the quality of learning can be done by motivating students in learning, building insssteractive communication, and developing competencies as learning outcomes achieved by students. This study used a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The population is 137 students using Probability Sampling and Cluster Random Sampling. Thus, obtained a sample of 58 respondents. The data collected used the approach of Observation, Questionnaire and Documentation The results of this study can be concluded that motivation had a significant effect on learning achievement in sociology subjects in class ten students at SMAN 1 Pandeglang. Communication had a significant effect on learning achievement in sociology subjects in class ten students at SMAN 1 Pandeglang. Competence has a significant effect on learning achievement in sociology subjects in class ten students at SMAN 1 Pandeglang. Motivation, communication, and competence had a simultaneous effect on learning achievement.Keywords: Motivation, Communication, Competence, Learning Achievement.

Teachers play a crucial role in improving the quality of learning, particularly in motivating students to learn. This study aims to describe the role of teachers in motivating 10th-grade students in sociology classes at State High School 7, Tangerang Regency. This study was motivated by the low level of student enthusiasm in sociology classes, indicating the need to optimize the role of teachers in motivating student learning. This study employs a qualitative approach using a descriptive method, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation, as well as data analysis conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the role of teachers in motivating 10th-grade students’ learning is carried out through the provision of stimuli in the form of apersepsi, the use of engaging teaching methods by sociology teachers, communicative interaction, and the provision of verbal motivation. However, there are several obstacles faced by teachers, such as a lack of school facilities for the learning process and students who still require motivation to participate in sociology lessons. To address these issues, teachers strive to create a pleasant learning atmosphere and build closer interactions with students so that the learning motivation provided by teachers can be conveyed optimally.

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) pencapaian diri terhadap adaptasi mahasiswa Pendidikan Sosiologi Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa pengguna Instagram. Fenomena FoMO muncul ketika mahasiswa merasa tertinggal setelah melihat unggahan pencapaian teman sebaya di media sosial, sehingga memicu dorongan untuk menyesuaikan diri baik pada aspek akademik maupun non-akademik. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif metode deskriptif dengan populasi sebanyak 327 mahasiswa dan sampel 77 responden, diperoleh melalui teknik kuesioner daring. Data dianalisis dengan uji prasyarat dan regresi linear sederhana menggunakan SPSS versi 27 dengan landasan teori Hasrat (Desire) Jacques Lacan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hubungan kuat dan positif antara FoMO pencapaian diri dan adaptasi dengan koefisien korelasi (R) sebesar 0,780. Nilai determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,608 mengindikasikan bahwa 60,8% variasi adaptasi dijelaskan oleh FoMO pencapaian diri, sementara sisanya dipengaruhi faktor eksternal lainnya. Koefisien regresi (B) sebesar 0,745 dengan nilai signifikansi p < 0,001 membuktikan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa FoMO pencapaian diri menjadi faktor penting yang mempengaruhi adaptasi mahasiswa dalam merespons lingkungan sosial digital

This study aims to determine the analysis of the role of parents in assisting student learning at SDN Cimanuk 3. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach. The participants of this study were the parents of 2rd grade students of SDN Cimanuk 3 as many as 3 parents and guardians of students. This study uses data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the role of parents has a very important role in the process of assisting children's learning, such as providing correct direction to children, support, and providing solutions to children's problems during learning, besides the attention and affection of parents can make encouragement in learning. motivate children's learning. If the child is able to feel the attention and affection of his parents, then the child will feel more comfortable and will be obedient to his parents and will give good things in the learning process and improve children's learning achievement.

The objectives of this study are 1) to explain the pedagogic competence of teachers. 2) student learning outcomes in social studies subjects. 3) to explain the impact of the role of teacher pedagogic competence in improving student learning outcomes in social studies subjects. This research uses a qualitative approach. The type of research used is a case study. The subjects in this study were students, homeroom teachers, school principals. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. Based on the results of the analysis, 1) the pedagogic competence of the social studies teacher at SMPN 3 Pandeglang is good because the social studies teacher is professionally certified. 2) student learning outcomes of SMPN 3 Pandeglang IPS have developed since the teacher applied pedagogic competence to the learning process. 3) Thus it can be seen that pedagogic competence has a very important role in teaching and learning activities, namely making it easier for teachers to convey material to students and teachers can apply various learning strategies so as to create fun teaching and learning activities.

This study aims to describe the independence of students' learning during online learning which includes (1) behaving according to their own initiative, independence from others, level of self-discipline, and ability to solve their own problems; (2) the factors behind the formation of independent learning. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the aim of understanding natural events in the research object whose research results are presented descriptively. The research was conducted at SMA Cokroaminoto Sukaresmi Kab, Cianjur with the research informants being teachers and students of class XI IPS at the school. The data collection techniques through interview techniques and literature study and to test the validity of the research data using data triangulation techniques. The results showed that the level of independence of students in online learning of sociology subjects was still low and the factors that formed the independence of learning sociology for class XI students of SMA Cokroaminoto tend to be influenced by external factors, namely school factors and family factors.
