Abstract

The prevalence of anemia in adolescent girls is increasing, so other efforts are needed for prevention. One of the factors that influence the occurrence of anemia is iron deficiency. Handling anemia with food ingredients is still rarely done even though it has great potential to prevent anemia, especially in adolescent girls. Based on field observations, there are still adolescents who have signs and symptoms of anemia, education has been carried out regarding anemia but the role of adolescents in preventing anemia has not been active. The community service activity in the form of "Empowerment of Anti-Anemia Adolescents in Anemia Prevention Based on the Utilization of Local Foods at SMAS Adhyaksa 1" based on a mini workshop was carried out from March to August 2025 for students sent by PIK-R SMAS Adhyaksa 1 Jambi City. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase knowledge and change the attitudes of adolescent cadres about anemia prevention based on the utilization of local foods and the formation of anti-anemia adolescent cadres at SMAS Adhyaksa 1 Jambi City. The number of participants in the mini workshop consisted of 8 PIK-R female students for 1 day, given through lectures, simulations, discussions, questions and answers and Hb level screening on August 15, 2025. The material was delivered in the form of a simulation of early detection of signs and symptoms of anemia among peers using a checklist and a simulation of Hb level examination using a Hbmeter. In addition, it was also equipped with a pocket book "anti-anemia youth cadres" and a leaflet of recipes for making food made from moringa and patin. Before and after the mini workshop, a pretest and posttest were conducted to assess knowledge and attitudes about early detection of signs and symptoms of anemia and its prevention by utilizing local food. The PKM results showed that the average pre-test score of participants was 6.875 while the posttest results showed that the average score of participants was 9.375, there was a difference/difference of 2-3 points from the pretest and posttest results meaning that participants experienced an increase in knowledge and skills after being educated. It is necessary to optimize the role of youth cadres for local food-based anemia prevention

Abstract

The coffee shop industry in Indonesia has experienced rapid growth with intense competition, requiring frontliners to display positive emotional behavior in serving customers. However, high emotional demands can potentially cause burnout which may decrease employee performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of emotional behavior and work motivation on the performance of coffee shop frontliners in Samarinda City with burnout as a mediating variable. The research method uses a quantitative approach with convenience sampling technique, involving 30 coffee shop frontliner respondents in Samarinda. The research instrument consisted of a questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4 software. The results show that emotional behavior and work motivation have no significant effect on frontliner performance or burnout. Conversely, burnout was proven to have a negative and significant effect on performance (significance 0.010), meaning that the higher the level of burnout, the lower the frontliner performance. The Sobel mediation test shows that burnout does not mediate the relationship between emotional behavior and performance or between work motivation and performance. This finding indicates that burnout acts as an independent variable that directly affects performance, not as an intervening variable. This study concludes that burnout is a key factor determining the quality of coffee shop frontliner performance, therefore coffee shop managers need to focus on burnout prevention and management strategies to maintain optimal service performance.

Competition in the food sales industry is growing, making business owners have to be creative to increase sales turnover. Sales activities that occur every day make sales data increase. Researchers intend to make data on Traditional Restaurant as the basis for data mining processing on food sales using the apriori algorithm. The application of the Apriori Algorithm aims to find the most item combinations based on transaction data and then form association patterns from combinations of items. Association patterns are formed with a minimum support value of 10% and a minimum confidence value of 40% which results in 3 association rules and the most sold food products are Krupuk Bangka and Karedok with a support value of 0.105% and a confidence value of 0.583%

Abstract

Student conflict is an inseparable phenomenon from the dynamics of school life, especially in vocational high schools that have complex social characteristics and student development. This study aims to analyze the strategies of Guidance and Counseling Teachers (BK) in overcoming deviant student behavior conflicts at SMK Negeri 3 Kota Sorong, as well as to identify the challenges faced in implementing these strategies. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research subjects were determined purposively, including guidance and counseling teachers and students involved in conflicts. Data collection techniques were conducted through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, while data analysis used the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana with triangulation techniques to ensure data validity. The results showed that guidance counselors applied conflict management strategies in a gradual and integrated manner, with individual counseling as the initial strategy to understand students' problems on a personal level. Subsequently, group counseling, mediation, and character building were used as follow-up measures in accordance with the characteristics of the conflict. However, the effectiveness of these strategies was influenced by the limited number of guidance counselors, the diverse social backgrounds of students, and the resistance of some students to counseling services. This study concludes that handling student conflicts in vocational high schools requires adaptive, systematic guidance counseling services supported by the school's comprehensive role in order to create a conducive and sustainable educational climate.
