Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze various types of writing rule errors in research reports based on a literature review of previous studies. The research method used is a library research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The data were obtained from journal articles, books, and scientific studies relevant to the topic of students’ academic writing errors. Data collection was conducted through documentation study, while data analysis employed the interactive model proposed by Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that writing rule errors in academic papers commonly occur in several aspects, namely Indonesian spelling, diction, sentence structure, paragraph development, as well as citation and reference list formatting. The most dominant errors are spelling mistakes, particularly in the use of capital letters, punctuation marks, and prepositions. These findings indicate that students’ academic writing skills still need to be improved, both in linguistic aspects and academic writing conventions

Abstract

Changes in students’ interaction and communication patterns in the digital era cannot be separated from the influence of social media, technological advancements, and the diversity of language varieties used in daily life. These factors have affected the use of the Indonesian language in both academic settings and casual conversations. This study aims to describe students’ attitudes toward the Indonesian language and the factors influencing them, with a particular focus on the role of the social environment, non-standard language use, and online platforms. Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed via Google Forms and completed by 22 university students. The results indicate that the majority of respondents hold positive attitudes toward the Indonesian language in educational contexts: 86.4% strongly agreed that Indonesian should be used during presentations, and all participants agreed that standard Indonesian is mandatory for academic assignments. In contrast, 95.5% reported using informal language more frequently in daily conversations, while 68.2% often mixed Indonesian and English in their communication. The findings also reveal that social media is the most influential factor shaping students’ language habits. In conclusion, students demonstrate an understanding of the functions of the Indonesian language and are able to adjust their language varieties according to different communicative situations.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the cooperative learning model of the round table type in learning to write news texts for seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 25 Medan, to describe the challenges faced by teachers, and to describe students’ experiences during the learning process using the round table model. This research used a qualitative descriptive method with data sources consisting of an Indonesian language teacher and seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 25 Medan. The data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research showed that the implementation of the round table model in learning to write news texts had been carried out well in accordance with the learning procedures. The implementation of the round table model made students more active, enthusiastic, confident in expressing opinions, and able to cooperate in groups. The challenges faced by the teacher included forming heterogeneous groups, managing learning time, differences in students’ abilities, and assessing group work results. To overcome these obstacles, the teacher formed heterogeneous groups, divided group tasks clearly, and managed learning time more effectively. In addition, students gave positive responses to the implementation of the round table model because the learning process felt more exciting, interesting, and enjoyable compared to conventional learning. Thus, the round table learning model can be an effective alternative learning model in teaching news text writing for seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 25 Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Anyflip-assisted E-LKPD for negotiation texts for grade X students of SMA Negeri 7 Medan. This study uses a research and development method with the ADDIE model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of this development research were material expert validators, media expert validators, and Indonesian language teachers at SMA Negeri 7 Medan. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews with Indonesian language teachers, and student needs questionnaires. The results showed that the Anyflip assisted E-LKPD for negotiation texts was declared very suitable for use in learning. The material expert validation obtained a percentage of 83.07% with a very suitable category, the media expert validation obtained a percentage of 93.33% with a very suitable category, and the Indonesian language teacher obtained a percentage of 98.46% with a very suitable category. Therefore, it is concluded that the Anyflip assisted E-LKPD is very suitable for use by teachers and students in learning. Keywords: E-LKPD development, negotiation text, Anyflip, HOTS.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fatherless phenomenon in Indonesia, which affects children's psychological development but has yet to be examined psychoanalytically within the context of literary studies. This study aims to describe the personality structure of the character Alin comprising the Id, Ego, and Superego and to identify the ego defense mechanisms actualized by Alin in the film Andai Ibu Tidak Menikah dengan Ayah as a result of the fatherless condition. The study employs a qualitative descriptive-analytical approach grounded in Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory. Data were collected through an audiovisual observation-and-notation technique applied to 40 scenes and dialogues involving Alin, and subsequently analyzed using narrative analysis. The findings indicate that the fatherless condition affects Alin's personality structure in an unbalanced manner: the Id component is highly dominant, marked by father hunger, impulsive drives, and emotional outbursts; the Superego develops in an overly punitive direction; while the Ego weakens yet remains functionally present in limited ways. All six ego defense mechanisms are identified in Alin: repression and denial as the dominant mechanisms, increasingly infantile regression under mounting pressure, projection that disrupts her capacity for trust in romantic relationships, rationalization as a logical cover for fear, and sublimation as the ultimate psychological resolution. These three dimensions operate as a single interconnected psychological system, with the fatherless condition as its root.

Abstract

The learning resources teachers use are inadequate, making students bored, and the absence of innovative planning to improve teaching materials motivates researchers to develop teaching materials. This research aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of folklore teaching materials assisted by digital comics. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model, which consists of 5 development stages: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects in this research were 22 students in class 3B of SD Negeri 101764 Bandar Klippa. Data collection techniques in this research used interviews, observation, questionnaires, and tests. The results of the research show 1) The development of folklore teaching materials assisted by digital comics uses the ADDIE development model, 2) The feasibility test by material experts and the design experts is at a very decent qualification, 3) The practicality test carried out by the class 4B teacher was at a very practical qualification, 4) The effectiveness test showed very effective results as seen from the pre-test results which experienced an increase in the post-test results in each lesson 1, 2 and 3 on students' writing and speaking abilities.   Abtsrak Sumber belajar yang digunakan guru kurang memadai membuat peserta didik menjadi bosan serta tidak adanya perencanaan inovasi untuk memperbaiki bahan ajar memotivasi peneliti untuk melakukan mengembangkan materi ajar. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui validitas, praktikalitas, efektivitas Materi ajar cerita rakyat berbantuan komik digital. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahap pengembangan yaitu : Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas 3B SD Negeri 101764 Bandar Klippa yang berjumlah 22 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, observasi, kuesioner, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Pengembangan Materi Ajar cerita rakyat berbantuan komik digital ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE, 2) Uji kelayakan oleh ahli materi dan ahli desain berada pada kualifikasi sangat layak, 3) Uji kepraktisan yang dilakukan oleh guru kelas 4B berada pada kualifikasi sangat praktis, 4) Uji keefektifan menunjukkan hasil sangat efektif terlihat dari hasil pre-test yang mengalami peningkatan pada hasil post-test disetiap pembelajaran 1, 2 dan 3 pada kemampuan menulis dan berbicara peserta didik. Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat memberi pengaruh besar yang menuntut guru dan peserta didik agar memanfaatkan teknologi pada kegiatan pembelajaran yang aktif untuk mengatasi keterbatasan keterampilan menulis cerpen dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Pemanfaatan teknologi ini ditandai dengan kemudahan dalam mengakses informasi oleh siapapun, kapanpun dan dimanapun melalui upaya mengembangkan bahan ajar yang lebih inovatif serta lebih fleksibel dalam penggunaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kevalidan, dan kepraktisan materi ajar menulis cerpen berbentuk website yang telah dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan ADDIE dengan subjek penelitian peserta didik kelas IV SD di UPT SDN 060866 Medan. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar angket validasi dan angket respon. Hasil pengujian yang dilakukan kepada ahli materi, guru, dan juga peserta didik menunjukkan bahwa kualitas media yang dikembangkan dapat dikategorikan "Sangat Praktis". Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat dinyatakan materi ajar berbentuk website yang telah dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria sangat valid dan sangat praktis dan dapat digunakan dan diimplementasikan pada kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Integrating technology in Civics Education (PKn) learning is a pedagogical urgency to improve students' understanding of citizenship material. PKn learning at SD Negeri 040564 Keriahen has not integrated technology and local content, resulting in low learning completion. This study describes the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the Karo culture-based Citizenship Education (PKn) e-module and its impact on increasing students' insight into cultural love and understanding of rights and obligations. The method used is research and development with the ADDIE model applied to grade IV students. The study showed that the developed e-module was valid, practical, and effective. The percentage of students' learning completion classically increased in the pre-test and post-test. In addition, the increase in insight into cultural love was also shown through the N-Gain value. These findings indicate that the Karo culture-based PKn e-module improves material understanding and fosters students' love for local culture.   Abstrak Integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) merupakan suatu urgensi pedagogis untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi kewarganegaraan. Pembelajaran PKn di SD Negeri 040564 Keriahen belum mengintegrasikan teknologi dan muatan lokal, sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya ketuntasan belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan e-modul pendidikan kewarganegaraan (PKn) berbasis budaya Karo serta dampaknya terhadap peningkatan wawasan cinta budaya dan pemahaman peserta didik pada materi hak dan kewajiban. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model ADDIE yang diterapkan pada peserta didik kelas IV. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul yang dikembangkan tergolong valid, praktis, dan efektif. Persentase ketuntasan belajar peserta didik secara klasikal meningkat pada pre-test dan post-test. Selain itu, peningkatan wawasan cinta budaya juga ditunjukkan melalui nilai N-Gain. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa e-modul PKn berbasis budaya Karo berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan pemahaman materi serta menumbuhkan kecintaan peserta didik terhadap budaya lokal.
