Abstract

Through socialization and training, this community service activity aimed to enhance teachers' competencies in utilizing e-learning platforms at the Advent Education Foundation in the Sausapor District. The initiative responded to challenges in adopting digital technology, minimal technological infrastructure, and teachers' lack of proficiency in digital tools, further exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. The activity aligned with the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum, which emphasizes flexibility and personalization in learning. We employed a participatory action research (PAR) method, engaging participants directly in the training process. The stages of the activity included planning, preparation, execution, and reporting. Results indicated a high level of enthusiasm among teachers, with many demonstrating an improved understanding of key e-learning tools and their integration into the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum. However, challenges remain, particularly in technological infrastructure and teachers' adaptation to online learning formats. Despite these obstacles, this activity successfully enhanced teachers' knowledge and skills about e-learning. Recommendations for continuous training and establishing internal working groups are proposed to support the effective and sustainable implementation of e-learning in the Sausapor District. This initiative highlights the importance of targeted efforts to improve digital competencies in education, particularly in remote areas.

Abstract

This research aims to know the level of mathematical thinking ability of students by using scored model Graded Response Model (GRM). The subject here is the students of Class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 3 Sorong the 2016/2017 academic year, which amounted to 38 students with 22 students are male and 16 female students. This research is a descriptive research experiment. The results of this study indicate that the scored model GRM is effective in analyzing the ability of mathematical thinking of students. The effectiveness is shown an increase in student learning outcomes grade XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 3 Kota Sorong, where the average grade results visible increase of 56.7 until 78, and the value of the completeness students improved significantly, and student learning outcomes were shown in graded contents relevance criteria students with score 4 there are 18 students (47.37%), while the relevance of the contents with a score of 1 there are 4 students (10.53%). From the criteria of completeness students who achieve complete answers by a score of 4, there are 1 students (2.64%), and the answers are far from finished with a score of 1 there were 7 students (19.52%). Then to organizing criteria, students are working on a very systematic, there are 8 students (21.05%), and organizing with not systematically there are 10 students (26.32%).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan berpikir matematis siswa dengan menggunakan model penyekoran Graded Response Model (GRM). Subjek penelitian disini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 3 Kota Sorong tahun ajaran 2016/2017, yang berjumlah 38 siswa dengan 22 siswa laki-laki dan 16 siswa perempuan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen yang bersifat Deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model penyekoran GRM ini efektif dalam menganalisis kemampuan berpikir matematis siswa. Keefektifan tersebut terlihat adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 3 Kota Sorong, dimana hasil rerata kelas terlihat meningkat dari 56,7 hingga 78, dan nilai ketuntasan siswa meningkat secara signifikan, dan hasil belajar siswa dilihat secara graded dengan kriteria relevansi isi dengan skor 4 terdapat 18 siswa (47,37%), sementara relevansi isi dengan skor 1 terdapat 4 siswa (10,53%). Dari kriteria ketuntasan siswa yang mencapai jawaban tuntas dengan skor 4 terdapat 1 siswa (2,64%), dan jawaban jauh dari tuntas dengan skor 1 terdapat 7 siswa (19,52%). Kemudian untuk kriteria pengorganisasian, siswa mengerjakan dengan sangat sistematis terdapat 8 siswa (21,05%), dan pengorganisasian dengan tidak sistematis terdapat 10 siswa (26,32%).

Abstract

This study aimed at identifying how did the improvement in the problem-solving ability of learners work in improving the ability of learners in constructing the materials obtained after the development of Learner’s Worksheet in classroom learning. This research used Research and Development (R & D) approach using the Kemp model. Data collections were done through problem-solving tests, validation analysis, and correlation test. The indicators of this study included the effectiveness of the developed learner’s worksheet and the increased ability of problem-solving that was seen from the learning results obtained. The results showed that the average increase in the learning outcomes of the learners was equal to 79.44 with a difference in the scores of learning outcomes where tcount = 32.806 > ttable = 1.734, with a significance level of 0.000. Also, the improvement of learning outcomes on the response of learners gives significant influence with a score of 0.338 with a significance level of 0.085. Based on these results the development, the problem-solving oriented students’ worksheet is declared valid and effective based on the results of validation tests by experts and the results of the implementation of classroom learning. These results impact the students’ learning outcomes. It is expected that in the learning process with different materials, the worksheet can be applied in improving students' ability to solve problems. It is suggested for a research to collaborate the worksheet with other models and, media that can be linked to the problem-solving aspects, so that in its implementation, students have the confidence to succeed, be more active, and interested in problem-solving given

Abstract

  Acronym FOSS is a free open source software. The FOSS program is a license that allows users to run the program freely for any purpose, modify the program as desired and also distribute copies of the original version or modified version freely, which is why select open source from closed source. Closed-source software is sometimes pressed to build in the background or other unwanted and secret features into the software. Instead of having to trust users of FOSS software vendors can check and verify the source code itself and can put trust in the community of volunteers and users. FOSS is not equivalent to priceless software, it's more like a command for open-source software with freedom granted at various levels (depending on license). For this, the license does not need to be included in the list, If the software follows the Open Source command and the license is compatible then at least one of the Open Source licenses. Student involvement in SMK Negeri 1 Kabupaten Sorong is the best place to give advice about FOSS because it is one of the favorite schools in Sorong regency.

Abstract

Sago tree (Metroxilon sp.) Is native to Southeast Asia. The method used in this research is to use descriptive method with case study and free interview (free interview) field in processing sago and sago tree species which in though. Village community Malawor District Makbon Sorong regency has long consumed sago from natural forests and some sago already planted by ancestors hereditary. When rice and yams run out, people consume sago as a substitute. Most people still manage sago using traditional method for that which become problem point of this research is how kind of sago, process of traditional and semi traditional (scar machine) along with economical value of processed sago which can by community of Kampung Malawor District of Makbon Regency Sorong

Abstract

Sausapor merupakan salah satu distrik yang terdapat di kabupaten Tambrauw.  Jarak menuju distrik ini dari Kota Sorong adalah 110 km melalui jalur darat lokasi ini termasuk Terluar, Terdepan dan Tertinggal (3T). Tujuan penelitian ini  untuk  mengetahui peran literasi digital pertanian sebagai upaya meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat dalam budidaya tanaman berkelanjutan di kabupaten tambarauw. Metode pelaksanaan yang akan digunakan diantaranya sosialisasi, pemberian metode diskusi, ceramah, penyuluhan, bimbingan teknis dan pendampingan secara terjadwal. Adapun tahapan kegiatan meliputi pendamping dan pelatihan pembuatan pupuk kompos, pendampingan dan pelatihan pembuatan herbisida organik, pengetahuan tentang cara pemanenan, pengetahuan tentang pasca panen. Berdasarkan implementasi program yang dilakukan, terdapat perbedaan pada pengetahuan masyarakat di awal dan di akhir mengalami peningkatan hasil penen yang awalnya sebesar 32% menjadi 68 % di sisi lain hasil pasca panen mengalami peningkatan yang awalnya sebesar 31% menjadi 69%. Sehingga tingkat pemahaman dan keterampilan mitra berada pada kategori baik (61-74 %). Adapun untuk mencapai tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan maka program pengabdian pada masyarakat secara optimal, dan tim PkM akan terus melakukan pendampingan secara informal.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                 Transformasi digital menuntut peningkatan literasi digital guru, khususnya dalam pemanfaatan Learning Management System (LMS). Di Distrik Sausapor, Papua Barat Daya, meskipun infrastruktur jaringan memadai, keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan LMS berbasis Moodle masih terbatas. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan bersama Yayasan Pendidikan Advent Sausapor sebagai mitra, melibatkan 25 guru dari jenjang SD, SMP, dan SMA pada Juli 2025. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) melalui empat tahap: (1) perencanaan, meliputi koordinasi dengan mitra untuk menentukan kebutuhan, peserta, dan jadwal; (2) persiapan, penyusunan modul pelatihan serta instrumen pre-test dan post-test dengan dukungan fasilitas komputer dan internet sekolah; (3) pelaksanaan, berupa dua hari kegiatan sosialisasi dan praktik pembuatan kelas virtual, unggah materi ajar, penyusunan kuis, forum diskusi, dan sistem penilaian otomatis; (4) evaluasi, menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 74,1% pada seluruh aspek pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa peserta tidak hanya memahami konsep dasar Moodle, tetapi juga mampu mengaplikasikannya secara efektif dalam proses pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam memperkuat kompetensi guru serta menjadi langkah awal membangun ekosistem pembelajaran digital yang inklusif dan adaptif. Kata kunci: LMS Moodle; literasi digital; pembelajaran digital; pelatihan guru; PAR ABSTRACTThe digital transformation demands an increase in teachers’ digital literacy, particularly in utilizing Learning Management Systems (LMS). In Sausapor District, Southwest Papua, although network infrastructure is adequate, teachers’ skills in using Moodle-based LMS remain limited. This community service program was carried out in collaboration with the Sausapor Advent Education Foundation as a partner, involving 25 teachers from elementary, junior high, and senior high schools in July 2025. The method employed was Participatory Action Research (PAR) through four stages: (1) planning, including coordination with partners to determine needs, participants, and schedule; (2) preparation, which involved developing training modules and pre-test and post-test instruments supported by the school’s computer and internet facilities; (3) implementation, consisting of two days of activities such as socialization, virtual class creation, digital material uploads, quiz development, discussion forums, and automatic grading systems; (4) evaluation, using pre-tests and post-tests. The results indicated an average improvement of 74.1% across all aspects of knowledge and skills. These findings confirm that participants not only understood the basic concepts of Moodle but were also able to apply them effectively in the learning process. This activity provides a tangible contribution to strengthening teachers’ competencies and serves as an initial step in building an inclusive and adaptive digital learning ecosystem.. Keywords: LMS Moodle; digital literacy; digital learning; teacher training; PAR

Abstract

Kepulauan Soop, yang terletak di Distrik Sorong Kepulauan, Provinsi Papua Barat Daya, memiliki potensi Sumber Daya Alam yang melimpah. Pohon kelapa (Cocos nucifera) yang luas tumbuh di wilayah tersebut memiliki potensi besar untuk di manfaatkan, salah satu peluang pemanfaatan kelapa adalah dengan mengolah limbah tempurung kelapa menjadi arang briket sebagai bahan bakar alternatif yang ramah lingkungan. Melalui Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) penulis mengenalkan kepada masyarakat Pulau Soop cara mengolah tempurung kelapa menjadi arang briket sederhana yang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan bakar alternatif. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini berhasil memicu minat dan antusiasme masyarakat Pulau Soop. Mereka terlihat termotivasi untuk mengembangkan arang briket sebagai ide bisnis. Dengan menerapkan pendekatan berkelanjutan, diharapkan masyarakat Pulau Soop dapat terus memanfaatkan limbah kelapa dengan manfaat jangka panjang bagi lingkungan dan ekonomi lokal.

Abstract

This study developed and evaluated a Custom GPT model designed specifically to assess the critical-thinking skills of higher-education students, focusing on synthesis (C4), evaluation (C5), and creation (C6) based on Bloom’s Taxonomy. Employing a design-based research (DBR) methodology, six iterative design cycles were systematically conducted, involving direct classroom observations, expert validations, and practical testing with fourteen mathematics education students. Findings demonstrated that the Custom GPT system is highly practical regarding ease of use (86.7%) and efficiency (85.1%), and practically engaging for learners (81.8%). Quantitative analyses showed significant improvements in students’ critical-thinking skills, particularly within synthesis and evaluation domains, although variations in creation domain performance indicated the need for incorporating more real-world, application-based scenarios. Qualitative feedback confirmed that real-time AI-driven feedback significantly enhanced students' self-reflection and learning strategies. This study contributes theoretically by integrating AI with Bloom’s Taxonomy-based assessment and offers practical implications by providing a scalable, objective, and innovative assessment approach for enhancing higher-order thinking in higher education contexts.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi saat ini sangat berpengaruh terhadap lembaga pendidikan khususnya di lingkup sekolah SMA Muhammadiyah Al-amin kota sorong. Perlunya informasi, proses belajar mengajar yang bisa diserap oleh guru di SMA Muhammadiyah Al-amin Kota Sorong. Di SMA Muhammadiyah Al-amin Kota Sorong yang sedang melaksanakan penerimaan peserta didik baru, tentunya akan memulai proses belajar mengajar di hari pertama sekolah. Pembuatan spanduk seperti selamat datang kepada peserta didik baru dan pembuatan brosur salah satu hal penting untuk dibuat karena dengan adanya spanduk dan brosur peserta akan lebih mudah mengetahui informasi. Dengan mempelajari desain grafis diharapkan para guru dapat membentuk skill setelah menerima materi dan berguna bagi mereka. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini adalah menggunakan metode workshop. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Dapat di presentase 81% guru-guru memilih sangat setuju terhadap penyampaian materi secara teori dan praktek desain grafis. Skor presentase 80% guru-guru memilih setuju terhadap penyampaian materi secara teori dan prakte desain grafis. Skor presentasi 75% guru-guru memilih netral terhadap penyampaian materi secara teori dan praktek desain grafis. Sedang skor presentasi 40% guru-guru tidak setuju terhadap penyampaian materi secara teori dan praktek desain grafis, dan dengan skor presentase 20% guru-guru memilih sangat tidak setuju terhadap penyampaian materi secara teori dan praktek desain grafis.
