Abstract

The objectives of this research are: (1) To know kind and error place that made of students grade VIII SMP PGRI Kota Sorong in finishing story match question on relasion material. (2) To know what factors that made students grade VIII SMP PGRI Kota Sorong did error in finishing story match question on relasion material.This study is qualitative Researchbecause the data collect and explain in word form that arrange in the sentences and it is not numeric or value form. This research aim to get deep description and collect information detail about errors that made of students in finishing story match question based on data which is gotten in the research field, and approach that used to analyze in form of text. The conclusions of this study are as follows: (1) Kinds of students’ error of grade VIII SMP PGRI Kota Sorong in finishing story match question on relation material as follow: a) error in understanding and comprehending command question, presentation of students’ error made by 14 students in this error is 73,7%. b) Error in finishing question. Error’s persentation that made by 16 students in this error are 84,2%. c) students’ error who did not answer the question. Error presentation that made by 13 students in this error are 68,2%. (2) caused students’ error of grade VIII SMP PGRI Kota Sorong in finishing stoty ,atch question on relation material as follow: a) error in stating diagram arrow. b) Error in stating diagram cartesius. c) Error in stating the state of sequential pairs.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to develop an AI-assisted e-storyboard that is accessible through a web-based platform and to examine its validity and practicality for supporting students in designing interactive multimedia learning materials. Method: The study employed a research and development approach using the Four-D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) framework. Data were collected from mathematics education students and expert validators at Muhammadiyah University Sorong through needs-analysis questionnaires, expert validation instruments, and student response questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed descriptively using percentage-based criteria to determine the validity and practicality of the developed system. Findings: The developed e-storyboard integrates artificial intelligence features that provide recommendations for visual, audio, textual, and animation elements based on user input. Expert validation results indicated that the product achieved a high level of feasibility across language, content, and media aspects, with an overall validity score of 91.25 percent. Student responses also demonstrated strong acceptance of the system, with a practicality score of 87 percent. Although minor technical challenges were reported in relation to certain interactive components, the majority of users found the platform easy to use, engaging, and helpful in structuring multimedia design tasks. Significance: The findings indicate that the AI-assisted web-based e-storyboard is both valid and practical as a tool for interactive multimedia planning. By offering real-time recommendations and collaborative features, the system reduces common difficulties associated with manual storyboard development and supports a more efficient and structured multimedia design process. This study contributes to the advancement of educational technology by demonstrating how artificial intelligence can be meaningfully integrated into instructional design frameworks to support student creativity and learning.

Abstract

This study developed and evaluated a Custom GPT model designed specifically to assess the critical-thinking skills of higher-education students, focusing on synthesis (C4), evaluation (C5), and creation (C6) based on Bloom’s Taxonomy. Employing a design-based research (DBR) methodology, six iterative design cycles were systematically conducted, involving direct classroom observations, expert validations, and practical testing with fourteen mathematics education students. Findings demonstrated that the Custom GPT system is highly practical regarding ease of use (86.7%) and efficiency (85.1%), and practically engaging for learners (81.8%). Quantitative analyses showed significant improvements in students’ critical-thinking skills, particularly within synthesis and evaluation domains, although variations in creation domain performance indicated the need for incorporating more real-world, application-based scenarios. Qualitative feedback confirmed that real-time AI-driven feedback significantly enhanced students' self-reflection and learning strategies. This study contributes theoretically by integrating AI with Bloom’s Taxonomy-based assessment and offers practical implications by providing a scalable, objective, and innovative assessment approach for enhancing higher-order thinking in higher education contexts.

Abstract

In an era of increasing financial complexity, the ability to apply mathematical reasoning in financial decision making has become a critical competence for university students, yet many still struggle to translate mathematical knowledge into practical financial contexts. This study aims to develop a data-driven empirical profile of students’ financial mathematics ability based on academic performance records. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed using secondary data from 26 students enrolled in an Economic Mathematics course, including assignment scores, midterm examinations, final examinations, and final academic scores. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics combined with interpretive analysis to identify performance patterns, variability, and achievement distribution. The findings reveal that students’ financial mathematics ability is generally positioned at a moderate to high level, with a mean final score of 70.09 and a median of 78.25, indicating a negatively skewed distribution influenced by lower-performing students. While 61.54% of students were classified in high and very high categories, 23.08% remained in the low category, reflecting a substantial performance gap. In addition, students performed better in assignments and midterm examinations than in final examinations, suggesting challenges in comprehensive and independent problem-solving contexts. This study introduces a data-driven descriptive profiling approach that integrates financial literacy, mathematical literacy, and academic performance into a unified analytical framework. The findings offer meaningful implications for strengthening financial numeracy and improving instructional strategies in higher education.

Abstract

Learning is a process of interaction between students and their environment so that changes in behaviour for the better occur. This research aims to develop and evaluate a scientific attitude profile evaluation tool that uses the Accumulation, Demonstration, Exercise, Reflection, and Create (ADERiC) Learning Model based on Self-Efficacy. Through a Research and Development (R&D) approach using a 4D model, this research designed and tested this evaluation tool in the context of physics learning. The research results show that the application of the ADERiC model evaluation tool significantly increases students' involvement in the learning process, as well as strengthening their ability to solve problems and develop a positive scientific attitude. Evaluations carried out through the instruments developed indicate an increase in students' self-efficacy along with the use of innovative learning models. These results confirm that the integration of ADERiC in physics learning can facilitate deeper conceptual understanding as well as the practical application of physics, contributing to improving the effectiveness of teaching and learning in schools. This research succeeded in designing and validating an evaluation tool that is able to measure these aspects effectively.

Abstract

Kesamaptaan jasmani merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam proses seleksi penerimaan calon Taruna/i Akademi Kepolisian (Akpol). Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pendampingan dan konsultasi berbasis sport science kepada peserta seleksi kesamaptaan jasmani di Lapangan Mako Brimob Sorong, Papua Barat Daya. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, pendampingan langsung, bimbingan teknis, dan konsultasi olahraga selama pelaksanaan tes fisik. Kegiatan difokuskan pada peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai teknik pelaksanaan tes push up, pull up, dan daya tahan tubuh, serta edukasi mengenai pengelolaan kondisi fisik, pengaturan stamina, pemanasan, pendinginan, dan pencegahan cedera. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai teknik tes kesamaptaan yang benar dan pentingnya menjaga kebugaran jasmani selama proses seleksi. Kegiatan ini juga memperkuat kolaborasi antara perguruan tinggi dan institusi kepolisian dalam penerapan ilmu keolahragaan untuk mendukung pengembangan sumber daya manusia.

Abstract

The management of cadre development within the Muhammadiyah organization requires a structured administrative system to ensure effective and sustainable member development. However, at the Muhammadiyah Sorong Timur Branch, data management was still conducted manually, with about 80% of administrators relying on non-digital records, requiring 15–25 minutes to retrieve a single member's data. This community service aimed to improve organizational capacity through the implementation of a web-based Integrated Cadre Information System accompanied by training and mentoring. The method used a participatory approach, including needs analysis, system implementation, training, and evaluation. The results showed that the system facilitated more efficient and integrated data management. Post-test results of 21 participants showed an average score of 97.6, with 71% achieving perfect scores, indicating a high level of understanding. Interviews also revealed improved administrative efficiency. This activity supports organizational digital transformation through the integration of technology and human resource development.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                 Transformasi digital menuntut peningkatan literasi digital guru, khususnya dalam pemanfaatan Learning Management System (LMS). Di Distrik Sausapor, Papua Barat Daya, meskipun infrastruktur jaringan memadai, keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan LMS berbasis Moodle masih terbatas. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan bersama Yayasan Pendidikan Advent Sausapor sebagai mitra, melibatkan 25 guru dari jenjang SD, SMP, dan SMA pada Juli 2025. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) melalui empat tahap: (1) perencanaan, meliputi koordinasi dengan mitra untuk menentukan kebutuhan, peserta, dan jadwal; (2) persiapan, penyusunan modul pelatihan serta instrumen pre-test dan post-test dengan dukungan fasilitas komputer dan internet sekolah; (3) pelaksanaan, berupa dua hari kegiatan sosialisasi dan praktik pembuatan kelas virtual, unggah materi ajar, penyusunan kuis, forum diskusi, dan sistem penilaian otomatis; (4) evaluasi, menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 74,1% pada seluruh aspek pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa peserta tidak hanya memahami konsep dasar Moodle, tetapi juga mampu mengaplikasikannya secara efektif dalam proses pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam memperkuat kompetensi guru serta menjadi langkah awal membangun ekosistem pembelajaran digital yang inklusif dan adaptif. Kata kunci: LMS Moodle; literasi digital; pembelajaran digital; pelatihan guru; PAR ABSTRACTThe digital transformation demands an increase in teachers’ digital literacy, particularly in utilizing Learning Management Systems (LMS). In Sausapor District, Southwest Papua, although network infrastructure is adequate, teachers’ skills in using Moodle-based LMS remain limited. This community service program was carried out in collaboration with the Sausapor Advent Education Foundation as a partner, involving 25 teachers from elementary, junior high, and senior high schools in July 2025. The method employed was Participatory Action Research (PAR) through four stages: (1) planning, including coordination with partners to determine needs, participants, and schedule; (2) preparation, which involved developing training modules and pre-test and post-test instruments supported by the school’s computer and internet facilities; (3) implementation, consisting of two days of activities such as socialization, virtual class creation, digital material uploads, quiz development, discussion forums, and automatic grading systems; (4) evaluation, using pre-tests and post-tests. The results indicated an average improvement of 74.1% across all aspects of knowledge and skills. These findings confirm that participants not only understood the basic concepts of Moodle but were also able to apply them effectively in the learning process. This activity provides a tangible contribution to strengthening teachers’ competencies and serves as an initial step in building an inclusive and adaptive digital learning ecosystem.. Keywords: LMS Moodle; digital literacy; digital learning; teacher training; PAR
