Abstract

This research is motivated by several issues related to radicalism and religious violence still prevalent in Indonesia's public and private universities. The survey results by the National Counter Terrorism Agency (BNPT) of Indonesia reported that as many as 39% of students in 15 provinces in Indonesia are indicated of being attracted to radical ideologies and fundamentalist movements. This research aims to describe the pattern of transformational leadership in strengthening religious moderation among students of Private Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKIS) in the Riau Province to provide an ideal and humanistic alternative model for the development of religious moderation. This research employs field research methodology, utilizing data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and documentation to address the research question, "How does transformational leadership contribute to strengthening religious moderation among PTKIS students in Riau?" Based on the research findings, the pattern of transformational leadership applied by the four leaders of PTKIS in Riau positively impacts religious moderation among their respective campus students by carrying out 5 strategic steps included in the discussion.

Abstract

Learning programme management is a very important part for every institution in starting and running programmes in the institution because the success of the Arabic language programme depends on the strength of programme management in the institution. Arabic language learning programme management includes elements of planning, organisation, implementation, assessment and supervision. All are organised and designed as well as possible to match the Arabic language learning objectives that the institution already wants. However, in this article, the researcher is more focused on examining the management of planning and implementation as well as the factors that hinder and support it. This study aims to describe the process of planning and implementing the Arabic language learning programme that is currently running at SMAIT AL Fikri school as well as the factors that support and hinder the process of running Arabic language learning at the school. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection was done by interview and direct observation techniques to the principal, teachers, language team and students studying at SMAIT AL Fikri Pekanbaru. The results of this research are1) The school has made a good Arabic learning plan, 2) the implementation of ongoing learning is good but not optimal because it is still not supported by adequate facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Learning Arabic is learning a foreign language, which will cause difficulties for students to learn it because it is not their mother tongue so problems will arise, both linguistic and non-linguistic. This research aims to describe the problems of learning Arabic and the solutions teachers implement to overcome these problems. The research method used is qualitative. The data collection technique is interviews. The results of this research state that linguistic problems in learning Arabic are found in the sound system and microdata. The non-linguistic problems include inadequate learning facilities and insufficient learning time. The solution to this problem is the repetition method so that students can pronounce the sound system correctly, giving five vocabulary words at each meeting, utilizing existing media, applying exciting methods, and implementing Arabic Day. A teacher must try to improve his competence to solve learning problems.تعليم اللغة العربية هو تعليم اللغة الأجنبية من شأنه أن يسبب صعوبات للطلاب لتعلمها لأنها ليست لغة الأم، لذلك ستكون المشكلات اللغوية والمشكلات غير اللغوية عديدة. يهدف هذا البحث إلى وصف مشكلات تعليم اللغة العربية والحلول التي يطبقها المعلم. طريقة البحث المستخدمة طريقة البحث النوعي. طريقة جمع البيانات مقابلة. نتائج البحث أن المشكلات اللغوية في تعليم اللغة العربية هي نطق الأصوات العربية وقلة المفردات. والمشكلات غير اللغوية هي بواسطة التعلم غير كافية ووقت الدرس ليس كافيا. حلول المشكلات هي تطبيق طرق تكرار نطق الأصوات العربية، حفظ خمس مفردات كل اللقاء، واستخدام الوسائل الموجودة وتطبيق طرق التعليم المناسبة، وتنفيذ اليوم العربي. يلزم معلم اللغة العربية قادر على حل المشكلات.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore effective collaboration strategies among parents, mosques, and schools to create an Islamic learning environment that fosters strong character and morals for children in Indonesia. Using a library research approach, this study analyzes literature on Islamic education and the collaboration dynamics between these institutions, drawing insights from Abdullah Nasih Ulwan's perspectives. Data gathered from academic sources and digital libraries highlight gaps in implementation and propose strategies to enhance interaction and synergy among parents, mosques, and schools. Effective communication between parents and children is crucial in mitigating negative behaviors like unwanted sexual conduct among teenagers. Many parents encounter challenges in supporting their children's home study, necessitating increased support from schools and mosques. Optimizing mosques as centers for intensive spiritual education and improving school programs for holistic character development are essential. This research underscores the importance of integrated efforts among home, school, and mosque in nurturing intellectually capable and morally upright young generations who contribute positively to society and uphold their religious values.

هذا البحث تعليم قواعد اللغة العربية بأسلوب أنطوان الدحداح فى تكوين فهم وفقرة اللغة العربية فى المدرسة الثانوية الحكومية 3 مالانج. هذا المقصود يعني كيف الأسلوب الذي يستعمل أنطوان الدحداح فى تعليم قواعد اللغة العربية. ومنهج البحث التجريبي. ونتيجة هذا البحث أن تعليم قواعد اللغة العربية بأسلوب أنطوان الدحداح فعالا وأحسن من الطريقة التقليدية في ترقية كفاءة الطلبة في فهم النحو.

Abstract

This paper describes education in Saudi Arabia and how education in Saudi Arabia compares with education in Indonesia. The method used is a literature study. The education system implemented in Saudi Arabia certainly has differences from the education system implemented in Indonesia. For example, the education system in Saudi Arabia puts forward Islamic values because Saudi Arabia is a country that highly upholds syar'i values. Although Indonesia has not implemented an Islamic education system as a whole, Islamic values are still taught in schools. Regarding the curriculum, Saudi Arabia adopts the curriculum from other Arab countries such as Egypt and always develops the existing curriculum so that it doesn't change too much. This is different from Indonesia, which changes the curriculum quite often so that sometimes educators find it difficult to adapt to the new curriculum. These are some of the examples presented in this article. But the most important thing is that both Saudi Arabia and Indonesia always strive to achieve their educational goals, namely to prepare a virtuous and skilled generation in the effort to develop a better nation because education is the most powerful weapon to change the world.

Abstract

Sampai saat ini, Keterampilan menyimak memegang peranan penting dalam berbahasa karena menjadi sarana utama dalam pemerolehan bahasa, menyimak merupakan kemampuan membantu seseorang paham akan kata-kata yang diucapkan oleh orang lain, proses menyimak melibatkan mendengarkan dengan baik, mengenali kata-kata, memahami maknanya, dan merespons dengan benar. Oleh sebab itu, Guru berperan sebagai penyampai pesan dalam komunikasi, sementara siswa aktif berperan sebagai penerima pesan. Adapun Masalah pokok dalam penelitian ini ialah mengenai teknik pembelajaran menyimak bahasa arab di Ponpes Darul Qur’an Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan guru mata pelajaran bahasa Arab. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah: teknik pembelajaran yang digunakan guru pada pembelajaran menyimak bahasa arab adalah: Teknik dengan mendengarkan dan memahami teks berbentuk dialog dan teks dalam bentuk narasi bahasa arab. Hambatan yang dialami dalam penerapan teknik pembelajaran menyimak bahasa arab ialah: kurangnya konsentrasi siswa, yang ditandai oleh ada murid melamun, mengobrol dan mengantuk didalam kelas (sehingga berdampak kepada keaktifan siswa ketika pembelajaran), kurangnya motivasi siswa yang ditandai oleh keterbatasan kosa kata, komunikasi yang kurang efektif, dan kesulitan dalam mengikuti pelajaran.

Abstract

Learning a foreign language, especially Arabic, will certainly face problems. Among these problems is the students feeling bored and less enthusiastic about teaching and learning activities. It is because of many factors, such as the lack of learning media that teachers use. Arabic vocabulary is very important to learning the Arabic language. Based on the description, the researchers wanted to test an Arabic learning model. I used to model quantum teaching in Arabic vocabulary at Bunayya Grade School Pekanbaru. In this study, the problems are formulated as follows: 1) Is the use of quantum teaching in Arabic vocabulary at Bunayya Grade School Pekanbaru influenced? The purpose of this study is 1) to know the influence of using quantum teaching in Arabic vocabulary at Bunayya Grade School Pekanbaru. In the writing of this research, the researcher uses a quantitative research approach with the types of research experiments to achieve the purpose above. Data collection techniques used are observation and testing. The data were analyzed using descriptive calculations, explaining or exposing data collected in detail, as for the results of the research (1) the influence of using quantum teaching in Arabic vocabulary at Bunayya Grade School Pekanbaru. These results obtained from observation in experimental classes were quite high, 100%. The Arabic vocabulary effectively uses quantum teaching at Bunayya Grade School Pekanbaru. The average result of the experimental class is 57%, based on the N-Gain score. Calculation of T-count that is greater than the t-value of 4,836 t-tables with level 2,5% = 2,048 and value level 5% = 1,701 meant that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. In conclusion, using quantum teaching in Arabic vocabulary at Bunayya Grade School Pekanbaru has an influence.

Abstract

Until now, the goal of education is to form individuals with spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, good morals, and skills that are useful for society. The learning process involves individuals actively in building knowledge through interaction with the environment, using approaches such as behaviorism, cognitive, and constructivism. Constructivism emphasizes that knowledge is the result of individual construction, which requires methods such as trial and error, dialogue, and active participation of students. In this context, this study focuses on the application of constructivism learning theory in Arabic language learning at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Fadhillah Pekanbaru. The research method used is qualitative with descriptive analysis, through interviews with the head of the madrasah and Arabic language teachers. The results of the study indicate that teachers have applied constructivism theory well, especially in vocabulary learning (mufradat) and kalam (speaking). However, there are several problems, such as the inability to apply this theory in each meeting due to limited time for assignments, as well as the lack of focus of some students during discussions.
