Abstract

Purpose – This study investigates the role of public relations management in building a positive image of educational institutions, focusing on Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 3 Cirebon. It aims to fill gaps in the literature regarding the empirical evidence of effective public relations strategies in madrasahs, providing both theoretical and practical contributions to the field of education. Design/methods/approach – The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach to deeply understand the public relations strategies at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 3 Cirebon. Nine participants, including the head of the madrasah, public relations staff, teachers, and parents, were purposively selected. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Systematic data analysis involved narrative presentation, data reduction, and conclusion drawing/verification to identify patterns and causal relationships. Findings – The study found that integrated planning involving all stakeholders, active involvement of public relations staff, and adequate resource allocation were key to building a positive institutional image. Activities such as religious services, social services, and regular community engagement strengthened internal and external relations. Regular evaluations through scheduled meetings and feedback from the community helped identify shortcomings and improve public relations strategies. Research implications – The findings highlight the importance of collaborative and systematic public relations management in educational institutions. The study suggests that other educational institutions adopt similar approaches to enhance their public image, thereby increasing community trust and support.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the At-Tibyan method in read the Al-Qur’an online at Graha Qur’an Wadi Mubarak, as well as the strategies and factors that support or inhbiting  read the Al-Qur’an online using the At-Tibyan method. The research methodology employed is qualitative research, with 7 participants involved. Data analysis follows the Miles Huberman analysis approach, involving data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification/conclusion. The research findings indicate that the At-Tibyan method used in read the Al-Qur’an online at Graha Qur’an Wadi Mubarak involves preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages, and is supported by factors such as qualified instructors and active participant involvement. However, challenges such as poor internet connectivity and limited participant engagement are also encountered.

Abstract

The Instilling Religious Character Values is one of the efforts to shape individuals who believe in and fear God Almighty. Instilling religious character values as early as possible will be more meaningful for elementary school students. This research focused on the fulfillment of self-development-integrated activities, lesson integrated-religious character values, and culture-integrated religious character values carried out by elementary schools. The problem is that most parents are confused about the best way to do this. Should they take do to prepare their children to face their environment. Calculation of religious character values since elementary school is expected to be one of the child's strongholds in facing change. This study aims to describe the cultivation of religious character values from an early age in the digital 5.0 era which is full of extraordinary challenges. This study uses a qualitative approach to library research (Library Research) taken from various reference books, reports and similar previous research results which are useful for obtaining solutions to the problems and social situations studied. The conclusion is that the teachers communicate teaching and learning through learning-integrated values of religious character and culture-integrated values of religious character carried out by the teacher. Some of the processes of cultivating religious character aims to shape students into intelligent and Islamic generations as a provision for students in the future.

Abstract

Pengabdian tersebut berfokus pada perbaikan pengelolaan pesantren melalui pengelolaan asrama terstruktur untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan fasilitas dan pengembangan santri. Pesantren mempunyai peranan penting dalam membentuk karakter dan pemahaman keagamaan santri, sehingga diperlukan sistem manajemen yang terstruktur dengan baik. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membekali pengurus pesantren dengan keterampilan praktis dalam mengelola asrama dengan lebih efisien, termasuk pengelolaan fasilitas, pengawasan, dan bimbingan siswa. Metodologinya meliputi beberapa tahapan: survei awal untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan, sesi pelatihan teoritis dan praktis, dan pemantauan satu bulan pasca pelatihan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan tersebut meningkatkan pemahaman pengurus akan pentingnya pengelolaan asrama yang efektif. Setelah pelatihan tersebut, beberapa pesantren melaporkan peningkatan dalam disiplin siswa dan efisiensi pengelolaan fasilitas secara keseluruhan. Hasil ini selaras dengan teori manajemen organisasi yang menekankan perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengarahan, dan pengendalian sebagai elemen penting dari manajemen yang efektif. Peningkatan struktur kepengurusan juga memberikan dampak positif bagi mahasiswa, khususnya dalam hal kedisiplinan, kepatuhan terhadap jadwal sehari-hari, dan kebersihan di dalam asrama. Studi tersebut menyimpulkan bahwa manajemen asrama terstruktur secara signifikan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan pengembangan karakter siswa. Pengabdian ini memberikan kontribusi di lapangan dengan menunjukkan bagaimana pengelolaan asrama yang baik di pesantren dapat menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif bagi pengembangan siswa secara holistik, menggabungkan pertumbuhan akademik, moral, dan spiritual. Penerapan lebih lanjut pelatihan berkelanjutan dan integrasi teknologi direkomendasikan untuk mempertahankan peningkatan ini.

Abstract

Pondok pesantren (pesantren) mempunyai peran sentral dalam membentuk karakter santri, tidak hanya sebagai lembaga pendidikan agama tetapi juga sebagai pusat pengembangan moral dan spiritual. Namun, banyak pesantren di Indonesia menghadapi tantangan manajemen operasional karena kurangnya pemanfaatan teknologi, sehingga menyebabkan inefisiensi dalam administrasi dan pengawasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyempurnakan sistem manajemen di pesantren dengan menerapkan sistem berbasis teknologi untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan dalam pendidikan. Metodologinya mencakup beberapa tahapan: persiapan, pelatihan teori dan praktik, instalasi sistem, dan pendampingan pasca pelatihan. Penerapan sistem manajemen berbasis teknologi berfokus pada pengelolaan data, pemantauan real-time, penjadwalan kegiatan, dan pengembangan kurikulum terstruktur. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam efisiensi pengelolaan pesantren. Para administrator menunjukkan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang pentingnya teknologi dalam operasional sehari-hari, yang meningkatkan transparansi, mengurangi kesalahan dalam pemrosesan data manual, dan memfasilitasi akses data secara real-time. Selain itu, sistem ini meningkatkan komunikasi antara pengurus pesantren, santri, dan wali, mengurangi kesalahpahaman dan meningkatkan proses pengambilan keputusan berdasarkan data yang akurat. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam manajemen pesantren sangat penting untuk beradaptasi dengan tuntutan pendidikan modern dengan tetap menjaga nilai-nilai Islam. Kontribusi penelitian ini terletak pada menawarkan solusi praktis untuk meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di pesantren secara keseluruhan melalui sistem berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

This study addresses the integration of Sharia-based principles into Total Quality Management (TQM) frameworks within Islamic educational institutions, aimed at enhancing management quality while upholding Islamic ethical standards. The purpose of this research is to develop a comprehensive TQM framework that aligns with Sharia values to promote moral accountability, fairness, and stakeholder satisfaction. Utilizing the Delphi method, the study gathers consensus from experts in Islamic education and TQM to establish a well-defined, contextually relevant framework. The research involved several rounds of expert surveys, focusing on key TQM components such as transparency, continuous improvement, and ethical leadership in an Islamic context. Principal findings reveal that incorporating Sharia principles in TQM fosters a balanced approach, merging academic excellence with spiritual and moral development. The developed framework underscores the importance of fairness, ethical governance, and stakeholder engagement, positioning Islamic educational institutions to address contemporary challenges while maintaining their religious identity. This study contributes a novel framework that not only strengthens the administrative and educational aspects but also ensures alignment with Sharia values, thereby offering a robust model for quality management in Islamic education.

Abstract

This research aims to fill the knowledge gap and identify opportunities for the application of AI in resource management in IEOs. This research shows that the adoption of predictive analytics technology in Islamic educational institutions has great potential, but there are challenges to overcome. In the context of urban areas, these technologies can be integrated more easily due to better infrastructure and adequately skilled staff. This is in line with previous research which shows that infrastructure and training are key factors in the successful implementation of new technologies in educational settings. This study used a quantitative and qualitative approach (Moxed Methods). Qualitative data analysis techniques through several techniques, namely, surveys, interviews, participant observation and documentation. Quantitative data analysis techniques through several techniques, namely statistical methods, thematic, document analysis, validity and reliability tests.

Abstract

Employee performance is a crucial aspect in achieving organizational goals. This study aims to investigate the effect of financial compensation on employee performance, by considering religiosity as a moderating factor. Expectancy Theory is used as a foundation to explain how the perception of financial compensation can motivate employees to achieve their work goals. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey type. The sample used a saturated sample consisting of 83 respondents who were the entire population sampled. The research instruments used included questionnaires to measure perceptions of compensation fairness, satisfaction with compensation, levels of religiosity, and achievement of employees' work goals. Data analysis was conducted using multiple regression to evaluate the relationship between independent and dependent variables, as well as the interaction between financial compensation and religiosity. The results of the study The Effect of Financial Compensation on Employee Performance Analysis shows that both the perception of compensation fairness and satisfaction with compensation have a positive and significant influence on the achievement of work goals and the evaluation of the quality of employee work results. This indicates that employees who feel treated fairly in terms of compensation and are satisfied with the rewards received tend to achieve better performance, and the results also show that religiosity moderates the relationship between financial compensation and employee performance. The interaction between the perception of compensation justice and the level of religiosity shows that the positive influence of compensation on the achievement of work goals can be influenced by the individual's religious level. These positive influences tend to decrease as levels of religiosity increase, highlighting the importance of considering religious values in compensation management to support motivation and optimal performance in the workplace. Abstract

This study explores the implementation of Sharia-Based Total Quality Management (TQM) in Islamic educational institutions and its impact on organizational performance. While TQM has been widely applied in various sectors, its integration with Islamic principles remains underexplored. Many Islamic educational institutions struggle to align modern management practices with Islamic ethics, creating inefficiencies in resource management and stakeholder engagement. Using a qualitative research design, this study collected data through interviews, observations, and document analysis from five Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia that adopted MS 1900:2014 certification. The findings reveal that Sharia-based TQM enhances leadership, operational processes, and stakeholder involvement. Key Islamic values, such as justice (al-‘adl), accountability (mas’uliyyah), and consultation (shura), play a central role in decision-making, fostering an ethical and collaborative work environment.Unlike previous studies that focus on secular institutions, this study provides empirical insights into the role of Islamic ethics in quality management. The adoption of Sharia-based TQM leads to improved efficiency, cost reduction, and institutional credibility, attracting more students, funding, and partnerships. It also enhances employee productivity, reduces turnover, and strengthens financial sustainability.This study highlights the importance of integrating Sharia principles into TQM to improve institutional performance while preserving Islamic identity. The findings offer practical recommendations for policymakers and educational leaders to optimize Sharia-based quality management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between vaccination and the effectiveness of policies to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. The quantitative analysis method with a dummy variable multiple regression approach was used to examine the vaccination times series data, cases, deaths and recoveries of Covid-19 patients for the period December 2020 – August 2021. The results show vaccination (especially dose 2) and the PPKM policy (Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities). have a significant impact on increasing cases, deaths and recoveries of Covid-19. Every 1,000 doses of vaccination has the potential to add 59 recovered patients, 46 new cases and 2 deaths. The impact on recovery is relatively higher than the impact on additional cases and deaths. A similar trend occurs when considering the impact of PPKM policies (micro, emergency and levels 1-4) on the increase in recovery, which is relatively higher than the similar impact on the rate of increase in cases and deaths. The impact on increasing cases and deaths can be said to be a risk that needs to be considered in future policy implementation.
