Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: Pengaruh variabel umur, pengalaman bertani, pendidikan, luas lahan, benih pupuk, pestisida, tenaga kerja dan dummy kelompok terhadap produksi padi Kelompok Tani  Mabbiring dan Sirennuang di Desa Sipareppe Kecamatan Watang Sawitto Kabupaten Pinrang. Model analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model regresi berganda. Dari hasil penelitian di simpulkan bahwa  variabel umur, pengalaman bertani, pendidikan dan dummy kelompok berpengaruh dan tidak signifikan, namun hal yang berbeda pada variabel luas lahan, benih, pupuk, pestisida dan tenaga kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi padi di Kelompok Tani Mabbiring dan Sirennuang di Desa Sipareppe Kecamatan Watang Sawitto Kabupaten Pinrang

Abstract

Tourism directly provides employment opportunities for the community, reduces poverty and unemployment levels, creates new business opportunities, increases regional income, and increases national foreign exchange earnings. The presence of tourism can generate commercial activities that can bring significant social, cultural and economic benefits to the country. This research aims to determine tourists' preferences in visiting the marine tourism attraction Akcepatn Beach, Makassar City. The type of research used is descriptive research using qualitative research methods. The research location was carried out at Akbecause Beach which is located on Jl. Tanjung Merdeka, Tamalate District, Makassar City. The population used in this research were tourists who had visited Akcepatn Beach, Makassar City. The method for determining the sample in this research is using accidental sampling. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation and documentation with data analysis used namely data exploration, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the tourist attractions offered are the main factor for tourists in determining their preferences when visiting Akcaus Beach, Makassar City. Meanwhile, the price indicator is not a choice for tourists to come to visit. Meanwhile, facilities and accessibility also play an important role in determining tourists' preferences in visiting Akcaus Beach.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh modal, jam berdagang, lokasi berdagang, lama usaha, dan tingkat pendidikan. Sampel dari penelitian ini sebanyak 60 responden yang merupakan pedagang Pasar Sentral Karisa. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji asumsi klasik dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji koefisien determinasi yang sudah sesuai dengan uji F dan uji t. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel modal, lokasi beerdagang, lama usaha, dan tingkat pendidikan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pendapata pedagang dengan nilai signifikansi (7,231%), (3,175%), (2,688%), (3,973%), (1,276%). Sedangkan jam berdagang tidak berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan pedagang dengan nilai signifikansi (1,276%).

Abstract

As an agricultural endeavour, catfish farming has the potential to thrive with the right conditions. The allocation of land for fishing purposes is one such element. Catfish farming gives locals a chance to feed their families an animal protein source while also helping fisheries development projects succeed. This is a feasible financial option due of the widespread use of ponds. An increasingly common form of fish rearing is the simple act of keeping catfish in a pond. Because pond fish farming is still in its early stages, this provides a good opportunity to assess the potential return on investment. Examining the potential of pond-based catfish farming in Makassar City's Biringkanaya District is the primary objective of this research. We used the accidental sampling method to pick our responders. Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Nett Benefit Cost Ratio (Nett B/C), and Nett Present Value (NPV) are the data analysis approaches that were utilised to process these data.

Abstract

The economic crisis that hit the world automatically worsened the economic situation in Indonesia in the period from 1997 to 1998. During the crisis, only the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector was able to survive strongly. This phenomenon shows that MSMEs can be productive activities that support economic growth both macro and micro in Indonesia, and have a positive impact on the development of other sectors. Law Number 20 of 2008 concerning Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) stipulates regulations for the MSME sector. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the top priority in national development and the presence of digital technology in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 is a very important factor for the development of business lines for industry players or businesses. This study aims to determine the influence of business duration and promotion methods on MSME income in Polewali District, Polewali Mandar Regency. The methodology used in this study is a quantitative approach where the source of data is obtained directly (primary) through the discourse method and the distribution of questionnaires. The results of this study are that the variables of business duration and promotion simultaneously have a significant influence on MSME income. Meanwhile, partially the business duration variable does not have an effect on MSME income, on the contrary, the Promotion variable has a significant influence on MSME income. The value of the determination coefficient is 90%. This shows that the variables of business duration and promotion variables greatly affect the change in MSME income in Polewali District, Polewali Mandar Regency.

Abstract

This research focuses on exchange rate fluctuations in Indonesia during the period of 2005 to 2023, influenced by various economic factors, primarily monetary policy and international trade dynamics. Exchange rate instability is a major concern because it can impact the national economy, including export competitiveness and macroeconomic stability. Consequently, the purpose of this research is to dissect the relationship between interest rates, export values, and wide money as it pertains to currency swings. This study takes a quantitative approach by analyzing the relationship between the dependent and independent variables via multiple linear regression. World Bank, International Monetary Fund, and Statistics Indonesia yearly time series data from 2005 to 2023 is used. The findings show that broad money, interest rates, and export values significantly impact the swings in the Indonesian currency. According to the findings of the multiple linear regression analysis, Interest rates and broad money have a positive and statistically significant effect on changes in exchange rates, but export values have a negative and statistically significant effect. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of appropriate interest rate policies and balanced broad money management to maintain exchange rate stability. Future researchers are advised to include global variables and more complex analysis methods.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi program unggulan beautiful malino dalam peningkatan sektor pariwisata pada Kecamatan Tinggi moncong Kabupaten Gowa. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif yang mana dilakukan menggunakan metode interaktif dimana yang menjadi instrumen penelitian adalah Human Instrument atau peneliti itu sendiri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan pertumbuhan sektor pariwisata di Kabupaten Gowa dari diadakannya event beautiful malino, ini dapat dilihat dari meningkatnya jumlah kunjungan wisatawan dari tahun ke tahun, selain itu event beautiful malino juga memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap pelaku UMKM sehingga akan mempengaruhi pendapatan asli daerah yang berasal dari retribusi pajak warung makan, penginapan, dan lain sebagainya.

Abstract

wealth of natural resources and the presence of various industries utilizing these resources, South Sulawesi exhibits diverse potential within the processing industry. This potential can be harnessed to enhance the economy of South Sulawesi Province, which is still classified as a developing region. This study aims to analyze the interconnections between the processing industry sector and other sectors, as well as to identify key sectors within the processing industry and the output multiplier effects generated using Input-Output analysis methods. The analysis results indicate that most processing industry sectors are capable of stimulating production growth in other sectors through the utilization of the generated output. Conversely, only the food and beverage industry and the non-metallic mineral products industry are sensitive to final demand, suggesting that these sectors are key. Based on the output multiplier figures obtained, the food and beverage sector demonstrates the highest value.

Abstract

This study evaluates the factors that influence the broad money of five ASEAN countries. Global economic uncertainty due to financial crises, geopolitical conflicts and pandemics has affected the region's economic stability. Central banks have a role in controlling broad money through monetary policy, but its effectiveness is affected by other factors such as GDP, interest rates and inflation. Moreover, the relationship between GDP growth, inflation, and interest rates with broad money is a major concern, as the trend of broad money growth in the 5 ASEAN countries continues to increase every year. The balance between broad money and price stability is crucial to prevent economic stress that could lead to a recession. Therefore, this study focuses on an in-depth analysis of the factors that influence money supply to help the government make decisions. The research sample consists of 100 data with five ASEAN countries, namely Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and Malaysia with a time series of 2004-2023. This methodology uses a mixed approach, namely quantitative with secondary data from the World Bank & IMF with LSDV analysis. It was found that the adjusted r square value was 97%, which means that GDP, interest rates, and inflation used were able to explain the money supply of 5 ASEAN countries by 97% and 3% was influenced by other factors outside this study. GDP was found to have no significant effect while interest rates have a significant negative effect and inflation has a significant positive effect on the broad money of 5 ASEAN countries. The government is expected to better analyze the policies and actions taken, such as managing monetary policy wisely, especially in maintaining the stability of inflation and interest rates so that the money supply can be well controlled.
