Abstract

Diharapkan bahwa siswa akan merasa lebih bebas dan termotivasi untuk belajar dengan metode Pembelajaran daring ini. Meskipun demikian, telah diketahui bahwa pembelajaran melalui internet memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap penurunan keinginan untuk belajar. Saat siswa mengikuti pembelajaran daring, mereka mungkin merasa jenuh, bosan, dan stres. Untuk mendorong siswa dalam keadaan belajar seperti ini, peran guru sangat dibutuhkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mempelajari peran guru sebagai motivator peserta didik, khususnya dalam pembelajaran online. Untuk mencapai tujuan ini, metode ini memerlukan pengumpulan banyak dari data, dan beberapa teknik serta analisis dari jurnal. Penelitian ini menggunakan sumber kepustakaan dari temuan penelitian sebelumnya, jurnal, serta data lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran guru sebagai motivator tidak hanya meningkatkan kemauan siswa untuk belajar, tetapi juga memberikan apresiasi dan pembelajaran daring yang nyata dan beragam. Karena peran guru sebagai motivator penting bagi siswa yang belajar daring, ditemukan bahwa guru harus merenungkan diri mereka sebagai makhluk estetika yang kreatif. Dengan demikian, seorang guru dapat membuat strategi belajar yang beragam untuk para siswa mereka dan juga bertanggung jawab atas kreativitas mereka sendiri.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of parents and teachers in improving reading, writing, and arithmetic (calistung) skills in first-grade elementary school students. Reading, writing, and arithmetic are essential basic skills for supporting children's learning success at subsequent levels of education. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research subjects consisted of parents, first-grade teachers, and students at a private elementary school. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results indicate that parental involvement in assisting children with learning at home, providing motivation, and creating a conducive learning environment significantly influences the development of children's reading, writing, and arithmetic skills. Meanwhile, the role of teachers in designing teaching strategies, using engaging learning media, and providing regular evaluations also contributes significantly to improving students' reading, writing, and arithmetic skills. Good collaboration between parents and teachers is key to optimally promoting students' academic development.

Abstract

his study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the effects of the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum on the level of student discipline in the third grade at Al-Falah Teratak Islamic School. The discipline in learning is a crucial aspect that plays a role in the success of the learning process, thus it is necessary to analyze the impact of the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum on the attitudes and behaviors of students' discipline. This research employs a quantitative method with survey as the research design. Data was collected through distributing questionnaires to 33 third-grade students who were divided into two classroom groups, namely 3A with a total of 17 students and 3B with a total of 16 students. The data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistical methods and correlation tests to evaluate the relationship between the Merdeka Curriculum and the level of learning discipline. The research findings have demonstrated that the Independent Curriculum has a significant and “positive” impact on study discipline, with a percentage of 49%. This is observed through the high level of student awareness in adhering to rules and consistency in learning. The Merdeka Curriculum contributes 25% to the learning discipline (R Square = 0.250), placing it in the "moderate" category. This discovery indicates that the Independent Curriculum has the ability to encourage students to be more responsible and disciplined in the learning process. This study recommends that schools continue to maximize the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum to sustainably enhance the quality of students' learning discipline.

Abstract

Teachers have a very crucial position in the education process. They also function as supporters for students. The main task of teachers is to educate, teach, guide, train, assess, and monitor students. In addition, teachers have an important responsibility in developing the curriculum, namely determining the direction and objectives of the lessons taught, as well as designing strategies to develop, evaluate, and compile a curriculum that is in accordance with the learning needs and characteristics of students. Because of this important role, teachers need to be ready to implement the independent curriculum. The purpose of this study was to find out. 1.) How is the readiness of teachers at SDIT Arrabani Pekanbaru in implementing the Independent Curriculum? 2.) What are the challenges and difficulties faced by teachers at SDIT Arrabani Pekanbaru in implementing the independent curriculum? This researcher applies a qualitative approach with a phenomenological research type. This study focused on the principal of SDIT Arrabani Pekanbaru, the deputy head of curriculum, and teachers for grades 1 to 4 at SDIT Arrabani Pekanbaru through data collection techniques that include interviews, observations, and documentation. The collected data is then analyzed through the following steps: 1) data collection, 2) data reduction, 3) data presentation, 4) drawing conclusions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of a growth mindset in Islamic education at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muhammadiyah 1 and 2 Pekanbaru and its impact on character development among students. A qualitative descriptive approach was used in this research. Data collection techniques were conducted through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that the growth mindset is applied in teaching through the reinforcement of Islamic values that support the mental and emotional development of students. Positive impacts found include increased self-confidence, patience, perseverance, and reliance on Allah in facing academic and non-academic challenges. Additionally, there is an improvement in critical and creative thinking skills, which play a role in character development. Overall, the implementation of the growth mindset has proven to contribute significantly to the character development of students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muhammadiyah 1 and 2 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Islamic education in the modern era is increasingly challenged to remain relevant amidst rapid technological advancement, globalization, and the dominance of secular knowledge. In response, there is a growing need to integrate general scientific knowledge with Islamic values to create a holistic educational framework. This article explores the development strategy of Islamic education programs that combine scientific approaches with religious and moral principles to construct a comprehensive, value-based learning system. Using a qualitative descriptive method, this study employs literature review and document analysis to explore various models and practices of integrative education. The documents analyzed include the official Muhammadiyah curriculum, teaching guidelines from the Muhammadiyah Council for Primary and Secondary Education, and academic literature related to the integration of science and Islamic values. The findings reveal that the integration of science and Islamic values not only enriches the learning experience but also significantly contributes to the formation of students’ character, ethical awareness, and critical thinking. It fosters a balanced mindset that harmonizes spiritual, intellectual, and social dimensions. Consequently, integrative Islamic education programs are essential for preparing a generation that is not only intellectually competent but also morally grounded, culturally aware, and ready to address the multidimensional challenges of the global era.

Abstract

Community service through Community Service Programs (KKN) is one way students contribute to addressing community issues. This study aims to examine the role of KKN in increasing environmental awareness and providing education to children in Bambu Kuning Village, Pekanbaru City. The method used in this study was observation. KKN students participated in environmental cleanup activities, provided counseling on the importance of maintaining cleanliness, and provided education to children about the importance of protecting the environment. The results showed that through KKN, environmental awareness in Bambu Kuning Village experienced a significant increase. The community began to understand the importance of maintaining cleanliness and caring for their surroundings. Children also showed increased knowledge about the importance of protecting the environment through educational activities carried out by KKN students.

Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) was one form of student dedication to society by applying academic knowledge to social life. The problem faced in Sukamaju Sub-district, Sail District, Pekanbaru City was the low awareness of the community regarding health, education, and environmental cleanliness. The purpose of this activity was to identify the role of KKN students in carrying out additional programs that supported local needs. The method used was descriptive qualitative through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that KKN students successfully implemented several programs, including posyandu (integrated health service), (religious education), group exercise, Independence Day competitions, the creation of mini trash bins, and a reading corner. These programs provide positive impacts by raising health awareness, strengthening religious values, encouraging environmental care, and fostering togetherness. In conclusion, KKN students play an essential role in enhancing community participation through educational, participatory, and sustainable programs.

Abstract

The learning process is less interesting and enjoyable due to the lack of variation in the choice of media in learning which causes low student interest in learning in class V of SD N 017 Seberang Cengar. This is characterized by students' lack of enthusiasm for learning, feeling bored, going in and out of class, not paying attention to the teacher. This research aims to students' interest in learning in science subjects by implementing video based learning media in class V of SD N 017 Seberang Cengar. This research method uses a qualitative method with the type of Classroom Action Research (PTK), which consists of two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. The data collection techniques are through observation, interviews and documentation. The research res ults obtained were that student activity in cycle I increased from 50% to 59.3% in the quite good category. In cycle II, student activity increased from 78.1% to 93.7% in the very good category. And student interest in learning in cycle I from 2.00% to 2.25% in the good category. Meanwhile in cycle II it was 3.03% to 3.65% in the very good category. Thus, through the application of video based learning media, it can increase the interest in learning of class V students at SD N 017 Seberang Cengar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MTs Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru yang bertujuan untuk menegetahui kontribusi interaksi edukatif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 40 orang siswa. Metode quasi exsperiment menjadi metode penelitian dengan observasi dan dokumentasi sebagai tekhnik pengumpulan data. Penelitian ini menghasilkan Interaksi sosial guru efektif terhadap motivasi belajar    siswa usia 5-6 tahun di MTs Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. Karena t hitung >   t tabel, (14,380>2,093 dan signifikansi < 0.05 (0,000< 0.05), maka Ho ditolak, jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan rata-rata interaksi sosial guru antara sebelum perlakuan dan setelah perlakuan. Dari perhitungan dengan SPSS dapat pula diketahui bahwa rata-rata nilai interaksi sosial guru setelah perlakuan lebih tinggi. Hal ini dapat diartikan bahwa interaksi sosial guru berkontribusi terhadap motivasi belajar siswa MTs Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru.
