Abstract

IMATH Book is an interactive media in the form of an illustrated book with pictures and writing to improve students' numeracy literacy skills in understanding the solution to mathematics story problems. This service uses a contextual approach so that students can more easily understand questions, especially story questions. The results of the media expert and material expert's assessment of the IMATH Book design for class 4 with a percentage of 82.60 was in the very good category, class 5 with a percentage of 80 was in the good category, and class 6 with a percentage of 85.21 was in the very good category. Thus it can be concluded that the IMATH Book classes 4, 5, and 6 are suitable for use in class. The results of this service state that using the IMATH Book makes it easier for students to understand so that they can improve their numeracy literacy skills. In addition, students become more confident in facing, finding solutions, and making decisions about the problems they are facing.

Abstract

Advances in technology and science require students to adapt to various aspects of life, especially in the field of education. One of the abilities that needs to be improved in 21st century learning is the ability to think critically. This study aims to develop and test the validity of the Electronic Student Worksheet (E-LKPD) of the STEM-based discovery learning model to improve students' critical thinking skills. The development model used is the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive. The results of the validity test by material experts and media experts show that the E-LKPD developed has a very high validity with an average score percentage of 82%. Based on these results, E-LKPD is considered very valid for use in learning

Abstract

This study aims to (1) find out the quality of the learning media of dakon in mathematics subjects in class II-A of SD Muhammadiyah Ambarbinangun (2) determine the effectiveness of students learning using dakon media. The research method is research and development. The results of this study indicate that 1) The quality of learning media in terms of the review are a) the results of the assessment of media experts scored 65 with excellent criteria. Material experts score 36 with good criteria. b) the results of the student response questionnaire obtained a percentage of 93% with excellent criteria. 2) the learning process has been effectively reviewed from: a) the average results of student interest in learning by obtaining a percentage of 89% with outstanding criteria. b) the ability to solve problems, there are differences, as evidenced by the Paired Sample T-Test on the value obtained Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 <0.05. The media of the dakon is effective in improving problem-solving skills and interest in learning, seen from the average score of 67.95 pretests and 83.28 post-test so that it can be concluded that the effective learning media.

Abstract

This study aimed to compare the robustness of the OLS method with a robust regression model on data that had outliers. The methods used on the robust regression model were M-estimation, MM-estimation, and S-estimation. The step taken was to check the characteristics of the data against outliers. Furthermore, the data were modeled with and without outliers using the OLS method and the M-, MM-, and S-estimations. The results were very different between the data with and without the outlier models in the OLS method. It was reflected in the intercept and standard error variables generated from the models. Meanwhile, the regression model with the M-, MM-, and S-estimations was quite stable and able to withstand the presence of outliers. Based on the three estimations that were robust against the outliers, the MM-estimation was the best candidate because, in addition to having a stable intercept parameter estimation, it also had the smallest standard error, which was 61.9 in the resulting model.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan masalah pertumbuhan yang disebabkan oleh kekurangan gizi kronis dan infeksi berulang. Pencegahan stunting harus dimulai sejak remaja, karena gizi yang salah dapat menyebabkan ketidakseimbangan gizi pada remaja. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di Desa Gadingharjo, Bantul, dengan tujuan mengedukasi remaja terkait pencegahan stunting. Kegiatan ini mencakup sosialisasi, pelatihan pengukuran status gizi dengan alat antropometri, serta praktek pembuatan makanan sehat berbasis sumber pangan lokal. Dengan kegiatan ini, diharapkan remaja memiliki pengetahuan untuk mencegah stunting dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat.

Abstract

Penggabungan konsep Education dan Entertainment (Edutainment) dalam pembelajaran matematika dapat menjadi suatu solusi yang berdampak baik pada peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji efektivitas model edutainment dalam pembelajaran matematika terhadap aspek hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental (The Nonequivalent Control Group Design). Populasi penelitian mencakup siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Gamping. Teknik sampling dalam penelitian ini menggunakan simple random sampling, sehingga diperoleh dua kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah soal pretest, posttest, dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika menggunakan model Edutainment efektif terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Model pembelajaran langsung juga efektif terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Sedangkan hasil komparasi pembelajaran matematika dengan model Edutainment dan model pembelajaran langsung adalah bahwa model Edutainment lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran langsung ditinjau dari aspek hasil belajar siswa. Merging the concept of Education and Entertainment (Edutainment) in learning mathematics can be a solution that has a good impact on improving students' mathematics learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of the edutainment model in learning mathematics on aspects of student learning outcomes. The type of research used is Quasi-Experimental (The Nonequivalent Control Group Design). The research population includes students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Gamping. The sampling technique in this study used simple random sampling; so, two classes were obtained the experimental class and the control class. The research instruments used were pre-test, post-test, and learning implementation observation sheets. The results showed that learning mathematics using the Edutainment model was effective on student learning outcomes. The direct learning model is also effective in the student learning outcomes in learning mathematics. While the results of the comparison of learning mathematics with the Edutainment model and the direct learning model are that the Edutainment model is more effective than the direct learning model in terms of student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemahaman relasional siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika menggunakan soal three tier multiple choice. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif. Penentuan subjek penelitian menggunakan purposive sampling dengan pemilihan subjek berdasarkan kriteria tertentu. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII di Kabupaten Bantul. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa soal tes three tier multiple choice pemahaman relasional, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Prosedur analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman relasional dalam memecahkan masalah matematika pada siswa berkemampuan pemahaman tinggi dapat memenuhi semua indikator pemahaman relasional dari kategori paham konsep, miskonsepsi false positif, dan miskonsepsi. Siswa berkemampuan pemahaman sedang dapat memenuhi tiga indikator pemahaman relasional dari kategori paham konsep dan miskonsepsi. Sedangkan siswa berkemampuan pemahaman rendah belum sepenuhnya memenuhi semua indikator pemahaman relasional dari kategori paham konsep, miskonsepsi, dan tidak paham konsep. Hal ini terlihat ketika siswa dapat memecahkan masalah matematika dan dapat menyatakan alasan setiap langkah yang dilakukannya.

Abstract

The mathematical representation ability of junior high school (SMP) students is still not optimal. This study aims to develop student activity sheets (LKS) with valid, practical and effective criteria based on ethnomathematics which can specifically facilitate students' mathematical representation abilities. The worksheets were developed in order to facilitate students' mathematical representation skills through pictures and symbols. This study uses research and development (R&D) methods by applying the ADDIE model, namely: analysis (analysis), design (design), development (development), implementation (implementation), and evaluation (evaluation). The LKS was tested on 32 grade 7B students of SMP N 1 Mlati for the 2020/2021 academic year. The instruments used were interview guide sheets, material expert and media expert assessment questionnaires, student and teacher response questionnaires, learning implementation observation sheets, and mathematical representation ability test questions. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained: (1) LKS was declared "valid" with an average expert score of 81.03% with very good criteria. (2) LKS is declared "practical" with the average score of the questionnaire response of educators and students to LKS is 4.2 with good criteria, and the results of observations of learning implementation obtained an average score percentage of 92.33% with very good criteria. (3) LKS is declared "effective" with the percentage of the average score of the mathematical representation ability test, which is 76.92% with good criteria. The LKS compiled meet the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective so that they can be used in learning.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has not only had an impact on health problems, but has penetrated the economic and business sectors. One of those affected by this outbreak is UKM "Dermayu Catering Jogja". This condition caused problems including (1) Orders decreased because events involving crowds of residents were prohibited and employees were unable to pay. (2) Not yet optimal marketing by utilizing information technology, managerial production processes that have not been stable after the vacuum due to Covid-19, have not been able to keep production and sales bookkeeping. The solutions offered are through mentoring and training on market mapping and targeting, production and marketing managerial, financial accounting, as well as digitalization and standardization of product quality. Through mentoring and training for partners, the realization of Entrepreneurs is formed in the UKM "Dermayu Catering Jogja" which has risen, is able to compete, and produces better products than before. Entrepreneurs rise and recover more quickly after the pandemic situation that hit Indonesia. This can be seen in post-training, mentoring and monitoring of Dermayu catering Yogyakarta, acceptance of catering orders has increased. Another indicator of the increase in the number of turnover of catering orders, partners have opened kiosk outlets displaying products produced by Dermayu Catering.   Keywords : Catering, Pandemic, SMEs, Rising Entrepreneurs.

Abstract

It is hoped that GRAMASI learning media can help students improve their mathematical literacy and numeracy skills. Under these conditions, teachers are also required to be able to develop learning media that can facilitate student literacy and numeracy. This training activity aims to provide training and assistance to teachers, students, parents and guardians of class V students at SD Negeri Kemiri regarding the development of learning media containing mathematical literacy and numeracy questions consisting of question concepts and question characteristics. The method used is divided into seven stages, namely observing partner conditions (conditions, problems, needs), preparing activity agendas, creating GAMRASI learning media, socializing GAMRASI learning media in schools, applying GAMRASI learning media to students, analysis and evaluation, and final report. The 21 training participants were students, teachers, parents and guardians of students. Through this training activity, teachers can find out how the GAMRASI learning media works and can put it into practice.  Keywords: GAMRASI, Literacy, Numeracy
