Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi tantangan pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa diaspora di Sekolah Indonesia Jeddah terkait pangan lokal serta minimnya pengalaman praktik yang menumbuhkan kebanggaan budaya Indonesia dalam bentuk kuliner. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan literasi pangan tempe, keterampilan pembuatan tempe berbahan almond, serta penguatan nilai budaya melalui integrasi motif batik dalam kemasan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyuluhan, demonstrasi, workshop, praktik langsung, dan sesi design thinking yang melibatkan 30 siswa. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pretest-posttest serta penilaian Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5). Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan, ditandai dengan 100% siswa memperoleh keterampilan baru, 93,33% tertarik mempraktikkan kembali di rumah, dan 90% melihat potensi pemasaran Tempe Almond Motif Batik Khas Nusantara. Penilaian P5 menunjukkan 30% siswa berkategori sangat baik, 46,7% baik, dan 23,3% cukup. Kegiatan ini terbukti efektif memperkuat pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa dalam pembuatan pangan lokal bernilai budaya.Abstract: This community service activity was motivated by the challenges faced by diaspora students at Sekolah Indonesia Jeddah regarding their limited knowledge and skills related to lokal Indonesian food, as well as the lack of practical experiences that foster cultural pride through culinary traditions. The aim of this program is to enhance students’ literacy about tempe, develop their skills in producing almond-based tempe, and strengthen cultural values through the integration of batik motifs in product packaging. The implementation methods included counseling, demonstrations, workshops, hands-on practice, and a design thinking session involving 30 students. Evaluation was conducted using pretest–posttest assessments and the Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) rubric. The results indicate an improvement in students’ knowledge and skills, evidenced by 100% of participants gaining new competencies, 93.33% expressing interest in practicing the process at home, and 90% recognizing the marketing potential of almond tempe with batik-themed packaging. P5 assessments showed that 30% of students were in the very good category, 46.7% in good, and 23.3% in fair. This program proved effective in strengthening students’ knowledge and skills in producing culturally significant lokal foods.

Abstract

Abstrak: Remaja merupakan kelompok usia yang rentan mengalami tekanan emosional akibat tuntutan akademik, hubungan sosial, dan ekspektasi keluarga. Kondisi ini dapat menimbulkan masalah kesehatan mental seperti stres dan kesulitan mengelola emosi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan remaja dalam mengelola emosi dan stres melalui pelatihan edukatif. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Andalas dengan melibatkan 41 remaja dengan usia rata-rata 14,92 tahun. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pemberian materi, demonstrasi, praktik, dan diskusi interaktif. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui kuesioner sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata pengetahuan peserta meningkat dari 6,66 menjadi 9,22 setelah pelatihan, dengan peningkatan pemahaman mencapai lebih dari 80% perserta. Kegiatan ini berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan soft skill remaja dalam mengelola stres, sehingga direkomendasikan untuk diintegrasikan dalam kegiatan Posyandu Remaja dan program UKS secara berkelanjutan.Abstract: Adolescents are an age group that is vulnerable to emotional pressure due to academic demands, social relationships, and family expectations. These conditions can lead to mental health problems such as stress and difficulty in managing emotions. This community service activity aimed to improve adolescents’ knowledge and skills in managing emotions and stress through educational training. The activity was carried out in Andalas Subdistrict, involving 41 adolescents with an average age of 14.92 years. The implementation methods included material delivery, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and interactive discussions. Evaluation was conducted through questionnaires administered before and after the training. The results showed that the participants’ average knowledge score increased from 6.66 to 9.22 after the training, with more than 80% of participants able to correctly explain the steps of emotional regulation and simple relaxation techniques. This activity had a positive impact on enhancing adolescents’ soft skills in stress management and is recommended to be integrated into youth health programs such as Posyandu Remaja and School Health Units (UKS) to ensure sustainability.

Abstract

Abstrak: Sampah merupakan masalah klasik di tanah air yang belum teratasi, namun bukan suatu masalah jika sampah bisa dikelola dengan optimal. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan edukasi yang menarik, interaktif, dan aplikatif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai permasalahan sampah. PKM ini dilaksanakan dengan maksud agar para siswa memiliki kesadaran dan meningkatkan pemahamannya dalam menghadapi permasalahan sampah, jenis-jenis sampah, dan bagaimana cara membuang sampah khususnya yang dihasilkan sehari-hari dari sampah bekas jajanan. Metode yang digunakan dengan pendekatan dan edukasi partisipatif. PKM ini dilaksanakan kepada para siswa kelas 5 dengan jumlah peserta 73 siswa. Sistem evaluasi yang digunakan adalah berupa pengisian soal pre-test dan post-test dilanjutkan dengan cerdas cermat singkat untuk mengukur keberhasilan penyuluhan. Hasil penyuluhan menunjukkan tingkat pengetahuan siswa mengenai PHBS hanya berkisar pada 11,1%. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan tidak terdapat peningkatan siswa yang signifikan mengenai materi sampah yang sudah dipaparkan, kurangnya pemahaman para siswa mengenai perbedaan jenis-jenis sampah menjadi alasan paling memungkinkan terjadinya hal tersebut. Abstract: Waste is a classic problem in the country that has not been solved, but it is not a problem if waste can be managed optimally. Therefore, interesting, interactive, and applicable education is needed to increase students' understanding of waste problems. This PKM is carried out with the intention that students have awareness and increase their understanding in dealing with waste problems, types of waste, and how to dispose of waste, especially those produced daily from used snack waste. The method used with a participatory approach and education. This PKM was carried out for 5th grade students with a total of 73 students. The evaluation system used is in the form of filling out pre-test and post-test questions followed intelligently and carefully and briefly to measure the success of counseling. The results of the counseling showed that the level of students' knowledge about PHBS was only around 11.1%. The results of the evaluation showed that there was no significant increase in students regarding the waste material that had been exposed, the lack of understanding of the students about the different types of waste was the most likely reason for this.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tahun 2016 Produksi sumber daya perikanan tangkap di Kabupaten Fakfak sebesar 17.806 ton, Kelompok nelayan Tubudin masih mengandalkan aliran Listrik dari PT. PLN dan Ketika pemadaman terjadi masih membeli solar menghidupkan genset untuk mesin es balok, Ketersediaan es balok menjadi sarana penting bagi nelayan untuk mempertahankan kualitas hasil tangkapan. Tujuan pengabdian melakukan pemasangan PLTS dengan mengetahui kapasitas besaran daya terpasang untuk memenuhi pengoperasian mesin es balok nelayan agar meningkatan ekonomi nelayan dan penghematan biaya operasional serta memperlambat pembusukan dan menjaga kesegaran ikan. Metode pendekatan yang digunaka survey melihat salah satu kondisi rumah warga yang akan dipasangi panel surya, melakukan pemasangan rangkaian panel berupa modul surya berkapasitas 550 Wp sebanyak 9 unit jenis modul monokristalin, jenis Inverter hybrid melalui MCB 50A, dan baterai kapasitas 48v 100ah dengan 6 unit serta kabel untuk penyambungan, evaluasi digunakan berupa kusioner dengan mengajukan 6 pertanyaan (kepuasaan mitra) yaitu metode kuantitatif. Adapun jumlah kelompok nelayan Tubudin menjadi sasaran kegiatan yaitu 1 rumah dengan 1 mitra dengan jumlah nelayan 15 orang sebagai sasaran penyuluhan. Hasil kegiatan yaitu terpasangnya PLTS off-grid untuk pengoperasian mesin produksi es balok nelayan Tubudin, hasil penilaian kepuasan nelayan tubudin tehadap pengabdian pemasangan PLTS untuk mesin es balok diperoleh 98% dengan kriteria sangat memuaskan dan sistem PLTS menghasilkan energi listrik sebesar 19.800 Wh per hari.Abstract: In 2016, the production of fishery resources in Fakfak Regency was 17,806 tons. The Tubudin fishermen group still relied on electricity from PT. PLN and when a blackout occurred, they still bought diesel to power the generator for the ice block machine. The availability of ice blocks became an important means for fishermen to maintain the quality of their catch. The purpose of the community service was to install PLTS by knowing the capacity of the installed power to meet the operation of the fishermen's ice block machine in order to improve the fishermen's economy and save operational costs and slow down spoilage and maintain the freshness of the fish. The approach method used was a survey to see one of the conditions of a resident's house that would be installed with solar panels, installing a series of panels in the form of 9 units of 550 Wp solar modules, a type of monocrystalline module, a hybrid inverter type via a 50A MCB, and a 48v 100ah capacity battery with 6 units and cables for connection, the evaluation used was a questionnaire by asking 6 questions (partner satisfaction) which was a quantitative method. The number of Tubudin fishermen groups targeted by the activity is 1 house with 1 partner with a total of 15 fishermen as the target of the extension. The result of the activity is the installation of an off-grid PLTS for the operation of the Tubudin fishermen's ice block production machine, the results of the Tubudin fishermen's satisfaction assessment of the dedication of the PLTS installation for the ice block machine obtained 98% with very satisfactory criteria and the PLTS system produces 19,800 Wh of electrical energy per day.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penyakit diare masih menjadi masalah kesehatan yang umum di kalangan anak-anak di Indonesia, terutama di lingkungan dengan sanitasi yang buruk, seperti panti asuhan. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan anak-anak tentang pencegahan dan pengobatan penyakit diare menggunakan program pendidikan berbasis buku saku. Program ini dilaksanakan di panti asuhan Solo. Penilaian perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner pre-test dan post-test yang diberikan kepada 19 anak peserta. Kuesioner yang digunakan terdiri atas 10 butir pernyataan dengan pilihan jawaban benar dan salah. Program pendidikan tersebut meliputi konseling interaktif, demonstrasi mencuci tangan, permainan berbasis belajar, dan pembagian buku saku. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan anak-anak meningkat dari rata-rata 7,79 menjadi 9,42 poin setelah program. Lebih lanjut, pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang gaya hidup higienis dan sehat diamati. Buku saku terbukti menjadi alat pembelajaran interaktif dan informatif yang efektif yang meningkatkan kesadaran anak-anak akan pentingnya kebersihan dan sanitasi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari untuk mencegah penyakit diare.Abstract: Diarrheal disease remains a common health problem among children in Indonesia, especially in environments with poor sanitation, such as orphanages. The aim of this activity was to improve children's knowledge about the prevention and treatment of diarrheal disease using a pocket-book-based educational program. The program was implemented in an orphanage in Solo. Assessment of differences in knowledge levels was conducted using pre-test and post-test questionnaires administered to 19 participating children. The questionnaire consisted of 10 statements with true and false answer options. The educational program included interactive counseling, handwashing demonstrations, learning-based games, and the distribution of pocket books. The results of this activity showed that children's knowledge increased from an average of 7.79 to 9.42 points after the program. Furthermore, a better understanding of hygienic and healthy lifestyles was observed. The pocket books proved to be an effective interactive and informative learning tool that increased children's awareness of the importance of cleanliness and sanitation in daily life to prevent diarrheal disease.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pelaku industri kreatif di Sumatera Barat masih menghadapi keterbatasan dalam pengelolaan data dan promosi digital yang terintegrasi, sehingga informasi komunitas dan produk kreatif belum terdokumentasi dan terpublikasi secara optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan pengelolaan dan promosi industri kreatif melalui pengembangan sistem informasi digital berbasis website pada Sumbar Kreatif Forum sebagai mitra kegiatan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi sistem, pelatihan pengelolaan website, pendampingan intensif, uji coba sistem, serta monitoring dan evaluasi kemampuan mitra. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa website berhasil dikembangkan dengan enam menu utama, yaitu profil organisasi, program, direktori anggota, galeri, berita/artikel, dan kontak, serta terintegrasi dengan media sosial. Mitra menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan pengelolaan website dari 40% menjadi 85% dan mampu memperbarui konten secara mandiri. Website dimanfaatkan secara berkelanjutan sebagai media publikasi kegiatan dan pusat informasi Sumbar Kreatif Forum.Abstract: Creative industry actors in West Sumatra still face limitations in integrated data management and digital promotion, resulting in suboptimal documentation and dissemination of community and creative product information. This community service program aims to optimize the management and promotion of the creative industry through the development of a web-based digital information system at Sumbar Kreatif Forum as the partner institution. The implementation methods include system socialization, website management training, intensive assistance, system testing, as well as monitoring and evaluation of partner capabilities. The results show that the website was successfully developed with six main features, namely organizational profile, programs, member directory, gallery, news/articles, and contact information, and is integrated with social media platforms. The partner demonstrated an increase in website management capability from 40% to 85% and was able to independently update and manage content. The website is sustainably utilized as a medium for activity publication and as an information center for Sumbar Kreatif Forum.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kelompok Kerajinan Limbah Kertas GAPURA menghadapi kendala rendahnya literasi keuangan dan kapasitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang memengaruhi pengelolaan usaha dan pengembangan produk. Pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi keuangan melalui konsep financial literacy serta capacity building SDM anggota. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, penyuluhan, dan workshop partisipatif, diikuti oleh 18 ibu pengrajin sebagai mitra. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, serta pengukuran menggunakan instrumen pretest dan posttest yang terdiri atas 20 butir pertanyaan yang mencakup aspek pencatatan keuangan, manajemen usaha, pengambilan keputusan, dan pengembangan soft skills. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan literasi keuangan sebesar 35,0% dan peningkatan kapasitas SDM sebesar 32,0%, yang tercermin pada kemampuan pencatatan keuangan, pengelolaan usaha yang lebih tertata, peningkatan kolaborasi, disiplin kerja, serta penguatan kepemimpinan lokal. Program ini berkontribusi terhadap penguatan kapasitas anggota dan mendukung pengembangan produk unggulan kerajinan limbah kertas secara berkelanjutan.Abstract: The GAPURA Waste Paper Handicraft Group faces challenges related to low financial literacy and limited human resource (HR) capacity, which affect business management and product development. This community service program aims to enhance financial literacy through the concept of financial literacy as well as to strengthen the capacity of group members’ human resources. The methods employed include socialization, counseling, and participatory workshops, involving 18 women artisans as partners. Program evaluation was conducted through observation, interviews, and measurement using pre-test and post-test instruments consisting of 20 items, covering aspects of financial record-keeping, business management, decision-making, and the development of soft skills. The evaluation results indicate an increase in financial literacy by 35.0% and an improvement in human resource capacity by 32.0%, as reflected in enhanced financial recording skills, more structured business management, increased collaboration, work discipline, and strengthened local leadership. This program contributes to strengthening members’ capacities and supports the sustainable development of the group’s flagship waste paper handicraft products.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pelatihan penulisan karya ilmiah untuk Generasi Z merupakan salah satu kegiatan penguatan literasi akademik. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah mempersiapkan Generasi Z menjadi individu yang terampil, kritis, dan berintegritas dalam menghasilkan karya ilmiah. Siswa yang duduk di kelas XII saat ini termasuk Generasi Z. Untuk mewujudkan tujuan tersebut, Sekolah Menengah Atas Jaya Plus Montessori berkolaborasi dengan Program Studi Statistika Universitas Matana mengadakan pelatihan penulisan karya ilmiah untuk siswa kelas XII yang berjumlah 12 orang. Kegiatan ini, selain sebagai kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat juga merupakan implementasi dari kegiatan kampus berdampak. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pelatihan adalah ceramah dan pelatihan. Keseluruhan kegiatan yang dilakukan terbagi dalam tiga tahap yaitu tahap pra pelaksanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Materi pelatihan terdiri dari penjelasan variabel penelitian dan indikatornya, penggunaan Google Forms untuk membuat kuesioner online, dan penggunaan Microsoft Excel untuk pengolahan dan penyajian data. Untuk evaluasi dan ukuran keberhasilan kegiatan pelatihan menggunakan hasil penilaian karya tulis ilmiah dan proses sidangnya. Berdasarkan hasilnya, rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh siswa berada pada interval 70 – 100 yang menunjukkan kelulusan 100%. Hasil tersebut membuktikan bahwa siswa dapat mengerjakan karya tulis ilmiah dengan baik sehingga dapat menjawab pertanyaan pada proses sidang. Dapat disimpulkan, kegiatan pelatihan ini telah berhasil mentransfer ilmu dan ketrampilan sehingga Generasi Z dapat menghasilkan karya tulis ilmiah dengan baik.Abstract: Scientific writing training for Generation Z is one way to strengthen academic literacy. This activity aims to prepare Generation Z to become skilled, critical, and integrity-driven individuals in producing scientific work. Students currently in grade XII belong to Generation Z. To achieve this goal, Jaya Plus Montessori High School collaborated with the Statistics Study Program at Matana University to conduct scientific writing training for 12 grade XII students. This activity, in addition to being a community service program, is also an implementation of an impactful campus initiative. The methods used in the training activities are lectures and practical exercises. The entire programme is divided into three stages: the pre-implementation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The training material consists of an explanation of research variables and their indicators, the use of Google Forms to create online questionnaires, and the use of Microsoft Excel for data processing and presentation. For evaluation and measuring the success of the training activities, the results of scientific writing assessments and their defence processes are used. Based on the results, the average scores obtained by students fall within the 70 – 100 range, indicating a 100% pass rate. These results demonstrate that students can complete scientific writing tasks well and can answer questions during the defence process. In conclusion, this training activity has successfully transferred knowledge and skills, enabling Generation Z to produce quality scientific writing.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kontrasepsi pascasalin merupakan upaya penting untuk mencegah kehamilan yang tidak diinginkan, mengurangi risiko komplikasi, dan menjaga jarak kehamilan. Namun, pemanfaatannya masih rendah akibat kurangnya pengetahuan ibu mengenai metode, waktu penggunaan, dan manfaatnya. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang KB pascasalin melalui edukasi berbasis multimedia. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Puskesmas Kota Gorontalo dengan melibatkan 32 ibu hamil. Edukasi diberikan menggunakan media PowerPoint, video, dan leaflet melalui ceramah interaktif dan diskusi. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan 59,37% ibu memiliki pengetahuan tinggi, 18,75% sedang, dan 21,87% rendah. Setelah edukasi, pengetahuan meningkat menjadi 68,75% kategori tinggi, 25% sedang, dan 6,25% rendah. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan multimedia mampu memperjelas informasi dan membantu ibu memahami materi lebih efektif. Kegiatan ini terbukti meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang KB pascasalin. Edukasi inovatif dan berkelanjutan direkomendasikan untuk mendukung peningkatan pemanfaatan layanan KB pascasalin.Abstract: Postpartum contraception is essential for preventing unintended pregnancies, reducing maternal complications, and ensuring healthy birth spacing. However, its utilization remains low due to limited maternal knowledge about contraceptive methods, appropriate timing, and associated benefits. This community service program aimed to improve pregnant women’s knowledge of postpartum family planning through multimedia-based education. The activity was conducted at the Gorontalo City Health Center with 32 pregnant women as participants. Educational sessions were delivered using PowerPoint slides, videos, and leaflets through interactive lectures and discussions. Knowledge was assessed through pre-test and post-test questionnaires. Pre-test results showed that 59.37% of participants had high knowledge, while 21.87% were in the low category. After the intervention, the proportion of participants with high knowledge increased to 68.75%, and the low category decreased to 6.25%. These results indicate that multimedia can enhance comprehension by engaging both visual and auditory senses, making information easier to understand and remember. The program effectively improved maternal knowledge, and continued innovative educational efforts are recommended to support increased use of postpartum contraception.

Abstract

Abstrak: Masjid memiliki peran strategis tidak hanya sebagai tempat ibadah, tetapi juga sebagai pusat pembinaan sosial, pendidikan, dan pemberdayaan umat. Namun, peran ini sering belum dioptimalkan secara maksimal, terutama di kalangan remaja masjid. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kapasitas remaja masjid dalam mengelola program keagamaan dan sosial yang berdampak positif bagi masyarakat sekitar. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan manajemen organisasi, pendampingan perencanaan kegiatan, serta evaluasi program. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 50 remaja masjid yang mengikuti pelatihan dan pendampingan selama 6 bulan. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui kuesioner dan wawancara mendalam, serta penilaian kinerja berdasarkan indikator seperti peningkatan keterampilan manajerial, kepemimpinan, dan penggunaan teknologi digital dalam pengelolaan kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan remaja masjid, dengan 80% peserta melaporkan peningkatan keterampilan dalam perencanaan dan pengelolaan program, serta kemampuan komunikasi yang lebih baik. Selain itu, 75% peserta berhasil mengimplementasikan program sosial-keagamaan yang melibatkan masyarakat sekitar secara aktif, seperti kegiatan bakti sosial dan kelas baca Al-Qur'an. Dengan demikian, program ini berhasil memperkuat peran masjid sebagai pusat pembinaan umat dan membekali remaja masjid dengan keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk mengelola program keagamaan dan sosial secara efektif dan berkelanjutan.Abstract: Mosques play a strategic role not only as places of worship but also as centers for social development, education, and community empowerment. However, this role is often under-optimized, especially among mosque youth. This community service activity aims to strengthen the capacity of mosque youth in managing religious and social programs that have a positive impact on the surrounding community. The methods used include organizational management training, activity planning assistance, and program evaluation. This activity involved 50 mosque youth who participated in the training and mentoring for six months. Evaluation was conducted through questionnaires and in-depth interviews, as well as performance assessments based on indicators such as improved managerial skills, leadership, and the use of digital technology in activity management. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in the capabilities of mosque youth, with 80% of participants reporting improved skills in program planning and management, as well as improved communication skills. In addition, 75% of participants successfully implemented socio-religious programs that actively involved the surrounding community, such as community service activities and Quran reading classes. Thus, this program successfully strengthened the role of mosques as centers for community development and equipped mosque youth with the skills necessary to manage religious and social programs effectively and sustainably.
