Abstract

Research purpose were to knowing (1) the significant effect of the rate of population growth, population density, dependency ratio, the Human Development Index (HDI) simulatneously on economic growth in Samarinda. (2) Determine the dominant effect of the rate of population growth, population density, dependency ratio, the Human Development Index (HDI) to economic growth of Samarinda. This research uses analytic descriptive with the survey method and the characteristic of research was to explain that aims to test different variables associated with research hypotheses had proposed. Results above could be explained that the population growth variable has a negatively on economic growth, which indicates the increasing population would likely reduce economic growth. Population density variable has a positive and significant impact on economic growth, which indicates that the higher the population density of an area, the higher the economic growth. Dependency ratio variable has a negative sign for economic growth, which indicates that the higher the value of the dependency ratio, the lower the economic growth. Human Development Index (HDI) has a positive and significant sign of economic growth, indicates that the higher the value of the HDI, the higher the economic growth.

Abstract

Teknologi telah mengalami perkembangan pesat, Sistem Informasi Desa (SID) di Indonesia masih tertinggal jauh dibandingkan dengan kota. Memperkenalkan (SID) sebagai media informasi untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat tentang implementasi sistem informasi desa sebagai media pembangunan bisnis pertanian berkelanjutan di masa Pandemi Covid-19 diharapkan menjadi sumber informasi dan media memberikan informasi yang bermanfaat, serta dapat memberikan manfaat ekonomi. Pelatihan tentang penggunaan SID yang melibatkan 10 orang Apparat Desa mitra telah memberikan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi aparat desa di Desa Amoito dan Desa Sindangkasih. Agar SID ini dapat diaplikasikan secara terus menerus maka diharapkan dilakukan komunikasi dan pendampingan kerjasama Penguruan Tinggi dan Pemerintah setempat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the types of translation techniques and find the most technique used by the translator in translating the utterances of Tony Stark as Iron Man to Steve Rogers as Captain America with the theory of Molina and Albir.  Following a qualitative approach, this research employs a descriptive qualitative method to describe the translation techniques used. The research object in this study is the utterances of Tony Stark to Steve Rogers in Avengers: Endgame (2019) movie script. There are 56 translation techniques used with 12 types of translation techniques. They are, Linguistic compression used in 23 data (54%), Reduction used in 7 data (16,6%), Established Equivalent used in 5 data (11.9%), Variation used in 9 data (11,9%), Adaptation used in 5 data (11,9%), Calque used in 3 data (7,1%), Borrowing used in 3 data (7.1%), Compensation used in 2 data (4.7%), Literal translation used in 1 datum (2.3%), Modulation used in 1 datum (2.3%), Particularization used in 1 datum (2.3%), and Linguistic Amplification used in 1 datum(2.3%). Based on that, the study concludes that the most technique used is linguistic compression.

Abstract

Parallel with the progress of technology, the discourse on developing learning models has become a focus that attracts the attention of both practitioners and researchers. Explicitly, this requires an adaptive and accelerated attitude from education practitioners. This research aims to test the effect of the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by learning videos on learning motivation, critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes. Statistical accuracy is relied upon to ensure the quality of the results obtained as empirical evidence using a Quasi experimental approach and a non-equivalent control group design. Data was collected through observation, learning outcomes tests and questionnaires, as well as documentation from a total of 56 samples with details of 27 students from the Experiment class and 29 students from the Control class. Descriptive statistical and inferential analysis is used with other sets of analyzes to describe results by considering the ease of reading the research results. The findings ultimately show that there is an influence of the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by learning videos on both learning motivation, critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes with each significance 0.05.

Abstract

Abstrak: Orientasi Studi dan Pengenalan Kampus atau disingkat OSPEK merupakan kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) atau Himpunan Mahasiswa di bawah pengawasan pembantu rektor dengan tujuan memberi pengetahuan mengenai kehidupan di kampus terhadap mahasiswa baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami dampak pelaksanaan OSPEK pada pembentukan karakter mahasiswa kimia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif yang menggunakan data melalui angket dalam bentuk Google Form. Analisis data menggunakan metode statistik inferensial, yakni mengumpulkan data untuk menghasilkan kesimpulan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa Jurusan Kimia dan Pendidikan Kimia. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu pelaksanaan OSPEK berdampak signifikan pada pengembangan manajemen waktu, kepedulian terhadap lingkungan, tanggung jawab terhadap tugas, dan keterampilan kerja dalam tim. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Universitas harus menjadi tempat pembentukan karakter serta OSPEK harus mencakup kegiatan membangun karakter. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pelaksanaan OSPEK dapat menjadikan cara yang efektif untuk mempromosikan pengembangan karakter di antara mahasiswa.Abstract: Study Orientation and Campus Introduction, or abbreviated OSPEK is an activity carried out by the Student Executive Body or the Student Association under the supervision of the assistant rector with the aim of giving knowledge about life on campus to new students. This study aims to understand the impact of the implementation of OSPEK on the formation of the character of a chemist student. The research method used is a quantitative method that uses data from a Google Form. Data analysis uses inferential statistical methods, i.e., gathering data to produce conclusions. The subjects in this study are students of chemistry and chemical education. The results of this study were that the implementation of OSPEK had a significant impact on the development of time management, care for the environment, responsibility for tasks, and teamwork skills. Based on the results of the research, the university should be a place of character formation, and OSPEK should cover character-building activities. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of OSPEK can be an effective way to promote character development among students.

Abstract

Jerawat atau yang disebut juga dengan acne vulgaris merupakan salah satu penyakit kulit yang memiliki prevalensi tertinggi dibandingkan dengan gangguan kulit lainnya. Daun sirih hitam memang dikenal memiliki sifat antiseptik, antibakteri, dan anti-inflamasi yang dapat membantu mengatasi masalah kulit, termasuk jerawat. Selain mudah didapat, daun sirih juga menjadi alternatif yang cukup aman digunakan. Penelitian ini diawali dengan melakukan pengujian aktivitas antibakteri ekstrak daun sirih hitam (Piper betle L. var. Nigra) terhadap bakteri Propionibaterium acnes dengan menggunakan konsentrasi eksktrak 5%, 10%, 15% dan 20%. Berdasarkan pengujian tersebut diperoleh hasil yang menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak daun sirih hitam memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap bakteri p.acnes yang tergolong ke dalam kategori penghambatan kuat.

Abstract

Sintang Region has few Catholic priests and does not have sufficient accomodation for the Catholic priesthood candidates. Therefore, a plan for a three floored Flat House of Santa Yohannes Maria Vianney Seminary of Sintang Diocese in Teluk Menyurai road, was proposed. It is expected that the seminary which may be built based on the plan, will be able to produce high quality Human Resources in Sintang Region expecially for the priesthood candidates and also to provide accomodation for them. Construction Management is a project processing process that includes planning, and organizing for purpose to be achived. To fulfill the requirements of Final Diploma 4 at State Polytechnic of Pontianak, we took the concept of Construction Management as a Final Project.Our Final Project includes Cost Management to find out the details of project costs in the form of a Budget Plan (RAB), Time Management to determine project duration in the form of S-curve and Critical Path Method (CPM), Human Resource Management to find out the needs of power workers in the form of a Tabel of The Needs of Power Workers, Quality Management to find out the specifications and provisions in the project structure that compile the specification table and Work Plan and Requirements (RKS),andOccupational Safety and Health (SMK3)Management to find the dangers and risks that may occur at the project in the form table of K3. In our plan, the SNI was applied to determine RAB and the result was Rp 7,791,782,000 and the build time needed was 120 days. The Human Resource per work item per day was also determined. This study also figured out the quality of the building structure, the risks and how to overcome and prevent the risks.

Abstract

Kabupaten Kubu Raya merupakan hasil pemekaran dari Kabupaten Mempawah. Tujuan dari pemekaran Kabupaten Kubu Raya ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, pemerataan pembangunan, mendekatkan pelayanan terhadap masyarakat serta mengefektifkan rentang kendali penyelenggaraan pemerintahan. Kabupaten Kubu Raya sendiri masih kekurangan berbagai macam insfratuktur pedukung, salah satunya masih kekurangan gedung kantor pelayanan pajak untuk masyarakat. Memiliki kantor pelayanan pajak yang strategis dapat membantu mempermudah pelayanan pajak di kabupaten itu sendiri. Dimana dalam penelitian, ini dilakukan Perencanaan Gedung Kantor Pelayanan Pajak (KPP) yang menggunakan material struktur beton yang mengacu pada SNI 1727:2013, SNI 2847:2013, untuk gempa mengacu pada SNI 1726:2019, dan untuk menentukan pembebanan bangunan mengunakan PPURG 1987, sedangkan untuk analisis dilakukan dengan softwere SAP2000 dan hitungan secara manual. Dari data perencanaan dengan luasan bangunan 25 m x 25 m, dan keseluruhan tinggi bangunan adalah 17.50 m, didapat tebal pelat atap dak 12 cm, tebal pelat lantai 12 cm, dimensi balok induk 25 cm x 50 cm dan dimensi balok anak 20 cm x 40 cm, dimensi kolom 35 cm x 35 cm, dan ukuran pondasi 2 m x 2 m dengan menggunakan tiang pancang 25 cm x 25 cm yang berjumlah 9 batang. Dari semua data bangunan diatas dapat di simpulkan dari hasil perhitungan bahwa mampu menahan semua gaya/momen yang terjadi pada bangunan.

Abstract

The author carried out construction management planning on the Eight Story Al - Hajj Hotel Building on Letnan Jendral Sutoyo Street, Pontianak City, which had previously been carried out structural planning and plans by Achmad Idris Setianto and Nurianda Rantau Nika in 2020. Therefore, to realize the construction of the Al - Hajj Hotel Building, proper construction management planning is needed, so that the construction process of this hotel runs smoothly, on time, efficiently and the desired quality can be achieved. Therefore, the author plans a construction management system for the construction of the Al - Hajj Hotel Building which is used as the title of this research. The method used in this construction management discussion is the management system of cost, quality, time, Human Resources (HR) and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) on structural work which includes foundations, beams, columns and floor plates. Based on the results of the analysis of the method above, the cost of preparatory work and the structure required in the completion of the Al - Hajj Hotel Building construction project is Rp. 43,925,525,000 and can be completed within 30 weeks or 272 calendar days. For quality planning, the results are form of quality control and a list of specification tables. In Human Resources (HR) planning is number of labor needs as a means for good work implementation and in the planning of OHS management planning is form of identification and control of potential OHS hazards to each type of work and the cost for the needs of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Work Protective Equipment (WPE) amounted to Rp. 87,155,000.

Abstract

Masalah yang diteliti yaitu aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di Sekolah Dasar yang masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu meningkatkan aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar dan karakter kesadaran lingkungan siswa dengan menggunakan model Project Based Learning dan Course Revew Horay berbasis STEM. Jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dipergunakan pada penelitian ini yang mencakup dua siklus. Masing-masing dari siklus ini mencakup perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar dan karakter kesadaran lingkungan adalah objek penelitian ini. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi. Penelitian ini didapatkan hasil yaitu adanya peningkatan aktivitas guru mencapai nilai 87,4 atau berkategori “sangat baik”, aktivitas siswa terlaksana hingga persentase 85,5% dengan kategori “hampir seluruhnya aktif”, hasil belajar kognitif siswa terlaksana hingga persentase 88% dan telah mencapai ketuntasan klasikal, hasil belajar afektif (karakter kesadaran lingkungan) terlaksana hingga persentase 86% dengan kategori “hampir seluruhnya membudaya” dan hasil belajar psikomotorik terlaksana hingga persentase 81,5% dengan kriteria “ hampir seluruhnya baik”. Oleh karena itu, bisa didapatkan kesimpulan yaitu model Project Based Learning dan Course Review Horay berbasis STEM dapat meningkatkan aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar dan karakter kesadaran lingkungan siswa.
