Abstract

Kondisi kesejahteraan secara psikologis memiliki peran penting dalam kehidupan manusia, diharapkan dengan kesejahteraan psikologis yang baik dapat tercipta perasaan bahagia dalam menapaki kehidupan dan terbebas dari masalah mental. Diketahui pandemi saat ini sangat berdampak pada kesejahteraan psikologis individu di semua aspek termasuk di aspek pendidikan, khususnya pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran strategi coping terhadap psychological well-being pada mahasiswa pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang berbentuk penelitian korelasional dan non-eksperimental. Teknik pemilihan partisipan dalam penelitian ini yaitu non probability sampling dengan teknik convenience sampling. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini merupakan 307 mahasiswa dengan kriteria partisipan yaitu merupakan individu yang berusia antara 18 sampai 25 tahun, berstatus sebagai mahasiswa aktif, dan berdomisili di Jakarta dan sekitarnya. Teknik pengumpulan data untuk mengukur kedua variabel penelitian yaitu dengan menyebarkan kuesioner. Kuesioner tersebut akan terdiri dari alat ukur Brief COPE dan alat ukur psychological well-being dari Ryff. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi coping berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap psychological well-being. Individu yang lebih menggunakan problem focused coping atau emotion focused coping cenderung memiliki psychological well-being yang semakin tinggi. Sebaliknya, individu yang tinggi menggunakan avoidance coping akan memiliki psychological well-being yang semakin rendah.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan industri di Indonesia memunculkan persaingan dan kompetisi di dunia bisnis. Perusahaan diharapkan adaptif untuk tetap bertahan dalam jangka panjang. Dengan hal itu perusahaan perlu meningkatkan sumber daya manusia yaitu karyawan karena terlibat langsung dengan perusahaan. Task performance merupakan perilaku yang berkontribusi langsung pada perusahaan. Dalam meningkatkan produktivitas, karyawan perlu memiliki sumber daya pribadi seperti grit. Grit menunjukkan bekerja keras dalam menghadapi tantangan sembari mempertahankan usaha serta tujuan meski dihadapkan dengan kegagalan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh grit terhadap task performance pada karyawan PT X. Peneliti menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 75 karyawan yang bekerja di PT X. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah non-probability sampling yaitu convenience sampling, dimana partisipan memiliki kebebasan untuk berpartisipasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner dengan dua alat ukur yaitu Individual Work Performance: Task Performance yang dikembangkan oleh Koopmans (2014) digunakan untuk variabel task performance dan Grit Scale yang dikembangkan Duckworth (2007) digunakan untuk variabel grit. Dalam pengumpulan dan pengolahan data, penulis menggunakan bantuan SPSS versi 25.00 dengan diolah menggunakan uji regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa grit berpengaruh terhadap task performance secara signifikan dan positif dengan dimensi perseverance of effort memiliki pengaruh lebih besar dibanding dimensi consistency of interest.

Abstract

Kinerja karyawan merupakan hal penting untuk menjaga kinerja perusahaan. Ketika karyawan memiliki kualitas kerja yang baik, maka perusahaan dapat berjalan dengan baik dan memiliki hasil yang berkualitas. Salah satu hal penting untuk meningkatkan kulitas dan kinerja perusahaan perlu menjaga workplace well-being karyawan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh workplace well-being terhadap work engagement pada karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES-9) untuk mengukur work engagement dan Workplace Well-Being Questionnaire (WWQ) untuk mengukur workplace well-being. Pengolah data penelitian menggunakan Smart PLS 3. Jumlah partisipan dalam penelitian 333 karyawan yang diperoleh menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Hasil pengolahan data membuktikan workplace well-being berpengaruh pada work engagement (p = 0.000), dapat diartikan bahwa workplace well-being dapat memprediksi adanya work engagement pada karyawan. Sehingga jika terjadi peningkatan workplace well-being dari karyawan maka dapat membuat work engagement meningkat. Dari hasil penelitian ini, perusahaan perlu mempertahankan dan meningkatkan workplace well-being pada karyawan agar karyawan memiliki work engagement yang tinggi, sehingga akan berdampak pada semangat, ketekunan dan produktivitas karyawan menjadi tinggi.   Employee performance is important to maintain company performance. When the employees have good quality work, the company can run well and have quality results. One of the important things to improve the performance and quality of the company must maintain the well-being of employees. The purpose of this study is to see the effect of workplace well-being on work engagement in employees. This study used quantitative methods. This reaserch using  Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES-9) to measure work engagement and the Workplace Well-being Wuestionnaire (WWQ) to measure workplace well-being. Research data processed by using Smart PLS 3. This research had 333 employees as participants using convenience sampling. Based on the result, prove that workplace well-being can affect work engagement (p = 0.000). So, if there is an increase in workplace well-being from employees, it can make work engagement increase. From the results of this study, companies must maintain workplace well-being in employees so that employees have a higher work engagement, and it will be have an impact on a higher vigor, persistence and productivity of the employees.

Abstract

This research investigates the role of workplace well-being on Millennials'  intention to stay. Intention to stay refers to a person's tendency to stay in the organization where they work for a more extended period. Workplace well-being is a sense of well-being obtained from work related to the feelings of workers in general (core affect) and intrinsic and extrinsic work values. A cross-sectional survey design was used in this study. Data was collected through a Google form distributed to employees in the Jabodetabek area aged 27-40 with a minimum of 1 year of working experience, and the last education was high school or equivalent—the completed questionnaire obtained 211 answers. The instrument for measuring the will to survive uses the Intention to Stay Scale adaptation scale from Kyndt et al. (2009), and well-being at work is measured by the Work Well-Being Questionnaire from Parker and Hyett (2014). The statistical analysis used was descriptive statistics, Spearman correlation statistics, Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), and exponential regression. There is a positive and significant role of workplace well-being on intention to stay in Millennials with an R square of 0.821, and the regression equation is Y = 1.431 + 0.255 X. Research has shown that when employees feel cared for, valued, and supported at work, they tend to have higher intentions to stay employed.

Abstract

A democratic state is obliged to ensure the fulfilment of the rights of its people, including the right to access quality public services. The quality and effectiveness of public services in Indonesia are currently facing significant challenges, as evidenced by a decline in the standard of service provision. This study emphasises the significance of psychological capital in enhancing job performance, with work engagement as a mediating factor. This study used quantitative methods and data collection techniques through convenience sampling, with a total of 317 participants. The instruments are used in this study for the measurement of variables are the Individual Work Performance Questionnaire, the Psychological Capital Questionnaire and the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale. The results showed that psychological capital can predict job performance, psychological capital can predict work engagement, and work engagement can predict job performance. Additionally, this study proved that work engagement functions as a mediator between psychological capital and job performance. By enhancing psychological capital and work engagement, the quality of public services can be enhanced, which will have a beneficial impact on public trust and public welfare.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted education, limited students' social environment and decreasing their motivation to learn. In Indonesia, 7 out of 10 students revealed that they rarely study since the introduction of social restrictions. Motivation is an important aspect in the learning process, students with high motivation will strive for the best results. Learning motivation comes from internal and external drives that change behavior. Students need good self-regulation skills to manage internal and external motivational drives. Self-regulation contributes positively to academic achievement and predicts long-term educational success. This study aims to determine the effect of self-regulation on academic motivation of SMP X students. The participants in this study consisted of 141 students aged 11-15 years. The researcher used the Academic Motivation Scale (AMS) and Personal Self-Concept (PSC) Questionnaire which have been translated into Indonesian. Results showed a significant positive effect between self-regulation and academic motivation, with R2 = 0.135, F value = 7.12, and p value of 0.00 < 0.5. This indicates higher student self-regulation correlates with higher academic motivation. Effective self-regulation strategies can help increase student motivation amid pandemic-like disruptions.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly changed the social landscape for younger generations, affecting their communication styles and consequently their mental health. This research investigates the critical role of family resilience in improving family communication and its impact on family functioning, specifically as a strategy to strengthen mental well-being in generation Z. Family resilience is defined as the ability of a family to adapt, recover and thrive amid adversity, which promotes emotional support and shared strength among its members. Family communication includes the exchange of thoughts, feelings and information, which facilitates understanding and connectedness within the family unit. Family functioning refers to how families cope, communicate and interact, involving critical dimensions such as cohesion and flexibility that are important for maintaining healthy relationships. This study used a non-experimental quantitative research design.  Data collection used convenience techniques and obtained 251 participants aged 17 to 24 years. The measurement tools used in this study include: Family Assessment Device (FAD) to evaluate family functioning, Walsh Family Resilience Questionnaire (WFRQ) for family resilience, and family communication scale to measure communication dynamics. The results showed a significant positive correlation between family resilience and family functioning (r = 0.90), family resilience and family communication (r = 0.80), and family communication and family functioning (r = 0.83). Family communication was shown to act as a partial mediator in the relationship between family resilience and family functioning. The findings of this study emphasize the importance of building family resilience and family communication to strengthen family functioning, ultimately contributing to improved mental health for generation Z after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada individu yang berprofesi sebagai perawat di Rumah Sakit X. Telah diketahui bahwa peran perawat sangatlah krusial dalam tata kelola Rumah Sakit agar operasional Rumah Sakit dapat berjalan dengan baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat peran job demands terhadap burnout dengan job resources dan modal psikologis sebagai moderatornya. Job demands merupakan beban kerja dan tuntutan emosional yang tinggi yang dapat berkontribusi pada kelelahan kerja (burnout) yang berpotensi mengganggu kesehatan fisik dan psikologis seseorang. Job resources, seperti autonomy, social support, opportunities for development, coaching dan feedback, serta modal psikologis seperti hope, self-efficacy, resilience dan optimism yang dapat membantu individu dalam menjalankan pekerjaannya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dan non-eksperimental dengan menggunakan convenience sampling method sebagai teknik sampel yang melibatkan 55 perawat di Rumah Sakit X. Burnout pada perawat diukur melalui Burnout Assessment Tool (BAT), job demands dan resources diukur melalui alat ukur Job Demands and Resources (JD-R) dan modal psikologis diukur menggunakan alat ukur Psychological Capital (PCQ-24). Hasil dari analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa job demands berpengaruh signifikan terhadap burnout. Namun, job resources dan modal psikologis gagal berperan sebagai moderator. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi bagi perawat dan Rumah Sakit dalam mengelola job demands bagi pekerjaan perawat, sehingga dapat memitigasi resiko burnout agar dapat mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kinerja dan kualitas layanan kesehatan.

Abstract

Improving and equalizing the quality of education is a major challenge in Indonesia's development, essential for improving human resources in terms of knowledge and character. Quality education depends on well-qualified, prosperous teachers and self-aware students. This program addresses education quality issues in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province, particularly in Southwest Sumba. SMK Don Bosco Sumba school in Southwest Sumba is striving to enhance education in their institution. They have implemented a program that aims to provide teachers, educators, and students with insight into the character, talents, and interests of the students as a means of developing education. This program involves students from grades X, XI, XII, seminaries, teachers, and students at SMK Don Bosco Sumba. In this assessment we used RMIB (Rothwell Miller Interest Blank), SPM (Standard Progressive Matrices), DAP (Draw A Person), BAUM (Tree Test), HTP (House Tree Person), and Wartegg for students, as well as Papikostik, CFIT scale 3, EPPS, DAP, BAUM, and WZT for teachers and educators. The assessment was conducted on April 25-26, 2024, with psychoeducation for parents, students, and teachers on April 27, 2024. Approximately 197 participants took the assessment, and 78 participated in the psychoeducation. The results showed that students and parents gained a better understanding of teaching patterns, learning styles, and student needs. School  ABSTRAK Meningkatkan dan menyetarakan kualitas pendidikan adalah tantangan utama dalam pembangunan Indonesia, yang penting untuk meningkatkan sumber daya manusia dalam hal pengetahuan dan karakter. Pendidikan berkualitas bergantung pada guru yang berkualifikasi baik, sejahtera, dan siswa yang memiliki kesadaran diri. Program ini mengatasi masalah kualitas pendidikan di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT), khususnya di Sumba Barat Daya. SMK Don Bosco Sumba merupakan salah satu sekolah yang menginginkan peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di sekolahnya. Hal tersebut membuat SMK Don Bosco Sumba ingin memberikan wawasan mengenai karakter, bakat, dan minat siswa kepada guru, pendidik, dan siswa sebagai salah satu cara pengembangan pendidikan di sekolah tersebut. Program ini melibatkan siswa dari kelas X, XI, XII, seminari, guru, dan siswa di SMK Don Bosco Sumba. Asesmen ini menggunakan beberapa alat ukur seperti RMIB (Rothwell Miller Interest Blank), SPM (Standard Progressive Matrices), DAP(Draw A Person), BAUM (Tree Test), HTP (House Tree Person), dan Wartegg untuk siswa, serta Papikostik, CFIT skala 3, EPPS, DAP, BAUM, dan WZT untuk guru dan pendidik. Penilaian dilakukan pada tanggal 25-26 April 2024, dengan psikoedukasi untuk orang tua, siswa, dan guru pada tanggal 27 April 2024. Sekitar 197 peserta mengikuti penilaian, dan 78 berpartisipasi dalam psikoedukasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa siswa dan orang tua mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang pola pengajaran, gaya belajar, dan kebutuhan siswa. Sekolah juga lebih memahami kemampuan pendidik dan guru, memungkinkan mereka merancang kegiatan yang mendorong pengembangan baik untuk siswa maupun pendidik. Pendekatan komprehensif ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi tantangan pendidikan di NTT, mempromosikan hasil pendidikan yang lebih baik dan mempersiapkan siswa serta pendidik untuk mengejar akademik dan profesional di masa depan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high level of job demands on PT X employees, affecting workplace well-being. There are several factors that have major influence on workplace well-being. However, this can be overcome with the job resources provided by the company. This study aims to see the role of job demands on workplace well-being with job resources as a moderator for PT X employees. The population in this study were all PT X employees and the sample used was 181 people. This study uses two measurements named The Job Demands-Resources Questionnaire by (Bakker, 2014) and The Workplace Well-being Questionnaire by (Parker & Hyett, 2011). The sampling technique used is convenience sampling. The data were processed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) in the IBM SPSS version 20 program. The results showed that there was a positive role of job demands on workplace well-being for PT X employees with F = 56.101 and p = 0.000 <0.05. From the results of multiple linear regression analysis, the coefficient value R² = 0.387 is obtained, the role of job demands on workplace well-being is 38.7%, while the remaining 61.3% is influenced by other factors. Other results show that job resources does not moderate the two variables in this study because the results obtained are p = 0.127 > 0.05.
