Abstract

The issuance of Law Number 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government provides broader autonomy to each region (Province) and Region (Regency/City) to regulate their own regions. In the realm of Education, this autonomy not only builds independence but also raises other problems that complicate regional government. With a qualitative approach using the Literature Study Analysis method with Primary Data in the form of Law Number 23 of 2014 and Law Number 20 of 2003 as the Main Data from several Journals, several Government problems can be found related to the distribution of authority such as Coordination Between Levels of Government, Human Resource Capacity, Funding and Budget, Management of Educators and Infrastructure and Facilities. The resolution of the problems that have been conveyed requires efforts to improve coordination between levels of government, strengthening the capacity of human resources in the regions, clarity in budget allocation, and equal distribution of educators and development of educational infrastructure. It is hoped that this article can provide an overview of micro problems in the regions and then sit together to solve these problems.

Abstract

The Single Tuition Fee (UKT) policy is implemented as an effort to standardize education costs at state universities (PTN). This study aims to determine the impact of the increase in the Single Tuition Fee (UKT) on access to education at state universities in Indonesia. This study uses a literature study method by analyzing various relevant literature related to single tuition fees and access to education. The sources of data and information include various types of literature such as books, articles, magazines, websites, both Google Scholar, and publish or perish that are relevant to the research theme. The results of the study show that the increase in UKT has the potential to reduce access to education for students from low-income backgrounds. This can lead to a decrease in the number of prospective new students, widening the social gap, the financial burden on parents or students, and can result in students dropping out of college. For well-off families, the increase in UKT is not a problem where parents have a steady income, where only students from well-off families can access quality higher education. Meanwhile, for underprivileged families or those with mediocre or irregular incomes, it will be a big problem related to the increase in the single tuition fee. This also has an impact on life such as unemployment, crime and poverty will increase. Mental health due to stress and anxiety about the cost of education. The increasing cost of education in higher education is an obstacle for students who want to gain access to quality education.

Abstract

The Fourth Industrial Revolution has brought significant transformations across various sectors, including education. These changes demand a comprehensive reform in the educational system to produce competent, adaptive, and globally competitive human resources. This study aims to explore relevant and effective educational innovations to enhance graduates’ global competitiveness in the digital era. The method employed is a library research approach, involving the collection, review, and analysis of scholarly literature related to educational innovation, technology integration, and contemporary learning strategies. The findings indicate that educational innovation spans various dimensions, including pedagogical approaches such as project-based learning, flipped classrooms, collaborative learning, and the integration of technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR). Moreover, innovations extend to evaluation systems, school management, and administrative strategies to foster effective and contextual learning environments. These innovations have been shown to improve student engagement, strengthen conceptual understanding, and support the development of 21st-century competencies. The study concludes that educational innovation is a strategic imperative for addressing the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. It calls for synergy among all educational stakeholders to realize sustainable transformation, with a focus on developing globally oriented competencies and an educational system that is responsive to ongoing societal changes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of behaviouristic approach in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) on moral formation of elementary school students. The study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group model. The subjects consisted of 50 fifth grade students of SDN 141 Palembang who were divided into two groups: experimental (n=25) and control (n=25). The experimental group received PAI learning with a behaviouristic approach based on positive reinforcement such as praise and symbolic rewards for 8 weeks, while the control group received conventional learning. The research instruments were Likert scale questionnaires and observation sheets. The results of the independent t-test analysis showed that the experimental group experienced a significant increase in the aspects of discipline, honesty, and politeness with an average score of 83.44 compared to the control group with an average score of 71.36. Observations also showed that the consistency of religious behaviour was higher in the experimental group. Thus, the behaviouristic approach has the potential to improve students' moral formation if supported by consistent reinforcement and a conducive learning environment.

Abstract

Artikel ini memuat deskripsi politik pendidikan islam masa reformasi sampai dengan saat ini dengaan menggunakan pendekatan kepustakaan atau libarary research jenis penelitiannya merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Dengan mengumpulkan literature data yang terkait kajian mengenai politik pendidikan dengan hasil analisa sebagai berikut: Masa Reformasi di Indonesia yang dimulai pada tahun 1998 membawa perubahan yang signifikan dalam kebijakan pendidikan Islam di negara tersebut. Sejak saat itu, pemerintah Indonesia mengambil langkah-langkah yang bertujuan untuk memperkuat pendidikan Islam, meningkatkan kualitas guru, meningkatkan kesempatan dan infrastruktur pendidikan, serta mengembangkan kurikulum pendidikan Islam inklusif. Kebijakan politik pendidikan Islam pada masa itu meliputi beberapa aspek penting. Pertama, jumlah lembaga pendidikan Islam seperti pesantren, pesantren, dan pesantren meningkat. Kedua, meningkaatkan guru muslim meningkat. Ketiga, perhatian lebih diberikan pada pengembangan lembaga dan infrastruktur pendidikan Islam. Keempat, tujuannya adalah mengembangkan kurikulum Islam yang inklusif. Pemerintah telah mengambil langkah konkrit untuk memperkuat pendidikan Islam, meningkatkan kualitas guru, memperbaiki sarana dan prasarana, serta mengembangkan kurikulum inklusif.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan salah satu pilar utama dalam pembangunan suatu bangsa. Dalam era globalisasi dan kemajuan teknologi informasi yang pesat, inovasi dalam pendidikan menjadi suatu keharusan untuk memastikan bahwa sistem pendidikan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat yang terus berkembang. Inovasi pendidikan tidak hanya berfokus pada metode pengajaran atau kurikulum, tetapi juga melibatkan penggunaan teknologi modern dan pendekatan yang lebih holistik dalam pembelajaran.  Metode penelitian ini yaitu Systematic Literature Review. Hasil dalam penelitian ini yaitu: Inovasi pendidikan membutuhkan peran aktif dari berbagai pemangku kepentingan, termasuk pemerintah, lembaga pendidikan, dunia usaha, orang tua, dan masyarakat. Masing-masing pemangku kepentingan memiliki tanggung jawab yang saling melengkapi, seperti pemerintah yang menyusun kebijakan dan menyediakan anggaran, lembaga pendidikan yang menerapkan kurikulum dan pengajaran yang mendukung inovasi, dunia usaha yang menyumbangkan keterampilan yang sesuai dengan pasar kerja, serta orang tua dan masyarakat yang memberikan dukungan moral dan sumber daya. Untuk mencapai keberhasilan inovasi, pendekatan kolaboratif sangat penting, dengan menciptakan ruang untuk dialog terbuka, membangun kemitraan antara lembaga pendidikan dan industri, serta memberdayakan masyarakat dalam proses pendidikan. Kolaborasi ini akan mempercepat implementasi inovasi dan memastikan pendidikan yang relevan dan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan perkembangan zaman.

Abstract

The rapid and dynamic changes of the modern era have significantly impacted the field of education, demanding a system that is more adaptive, innovative, and responsive to both global and local challenges. Twenty-first-century education emphasizes the importance of critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills, which can only be achieved through innovation in educational approaches, methods, and policies. On the other hand, educational policy serving as a guiding framework for the system is often influenced by subjectivity, such as political interests, ideological bias, and bureaucratic structures, which can undermine objectivity in decision-making. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach through library research to examine the role of innovation as well as the dynamics of subjectivity and objectivity in educational policymaking. The findings indicate that while subjectivity cannot be completely eliminated, participatory, transparent, and data-driven policymaking can lead to a more equitable and effective education system. Continuous innovation and evaluation are also essential to meet the evolving needs of society, particularly in the context of religious education and character development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the internalization of aspects of the Love-Based Curriculum (KBC) in Indonesian, English, and Arabic subjects. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach through document analysis in the form of Lesson Plans (RPP) and Work Reference Framework (KAK) prepared by language teachers at MAN Insan Cendekia OKI. The results show that the internalization of the value of love is carried out through learning content and instructional strategies, for example, the selection of poetry texts, argumentative texts, and themes of everyday life. Of the six aspects of love formulated in the KBC, most have been integrated into the learning design, although implementation is still partial and requires strengthening in the aspects of love for the environment and the nation. These findings confirm that the KBC has relevance in developing humanist education in madrasas, but its success is highly dependent on teacher consistency and madrasa policy support.

Abstract

Kontribusi Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) dalam politik pendidikan diyakini sangat penting dalam menjaga moralitas dan keberagaman nilai di tengah pesatnya perkembangan globalisasi dan arus informasi. Mereka berargumen bahwa peran MUI memperkuat identitas keagamaan dan moral bangsa Indonesia, yang merupakan bagian integral dari pembentukan karakter siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi pustaka (library research), yaitu metode yang dilaksanakan dengan mengumpulkan data dengan cara memahami dan mempelajari teori-teori dari berbagai literatur yang terkait dengan tema pembahasan.Dalam konteks pendidikan, MUI telah memberikan andil yang cukup besar dalam mentransformasi berbagai perkembangan zaman untuk dikontribusikan pada peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia Indonesia. Misalnya MUI memberikan dukungan penuh untuk kesetaraan pendidikan keagamaan dan pesantren dengan lembaga pendidikan umum, memberikan dukungan penuh untuk eksistensi lembaga pendidikan keagamaan melalui payung undang-undang, mendorong sepenuhnya penguatan dan pengembangan pendidikan karakter dasar lembaga pendidikan.Dari berbagai peran MUI dalam pembangunan pendidikan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin besar peran MUI dalam bidang pendidikan maka semakin berkualitas sumber daya manusia Indonesia.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aspek politik dalam penetapan Peraturan Presiden (Perpres) No. 82 Tahun 2021 tentang Pendanaan Penyelenggaraan Pesantren Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi pustaka (library research). Disahkannya Perpres No. 82 Tahun 2021 tentang Pendanaan Penyelenggaraan Pesantren akan melahirkan implikasi yang sangat kuat akibat dari adanya dukungan dana abadi dari pemerintah kepada lembaga pesantren. Terbitnya Peraturan Presiden (Perpres) Nomor 82 Tahun 2021 yang mengatur tentang dana abadi pesantren sebagai kelanjutan dari disahkannya UU pesantren pada 2019. Aspek politik dalam penetapan Perpres No. 82 Tahun 2021 tentang Pendanaan Penyelenggaraan Pesantren mencakup berbagai faktor mulai dari kepentingan politik pemerintah, tekanan dan aspirasi kelompok agama, dinamika politik di parlemen, hingga strategi elektoral dan tantangan dalam implementasi.
