Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahu bagaiman aspek-aspek politik berpengaruh pada kebijakan perubahan kurikulum dalam sistem pendidikan nasional Indonesia.Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis riset kepustakaan karena sumber data utama dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan menelusuri jurnal, berita, buku dan literatur lain yang relevanPolitisasi kebijakan perubahan kurikulum mengungkapkan bagaimana keputusan pendidikan sering kali dipengaruhi oleh kepentingan politik daripada kebutuhan akademis atau pendidikan yang sebenarnya. Politisasi ini sering menimbulkan resistensi dan kontroversi di masyarakat serta menyebabkan perubahan kurikulum yang tidak konsisten, mengganggu stabilitas dan kontinuitas pembelajaran. Untuk mencapai pendidikan yang berkualitas, perubahan kurikulum harus didasarkan pada bukti empiris dan kebutuhan pendidikan yang nyata, bukan semata-mata pada pertimbangan politik. Dengan demikian, pendidikan yang diberikan dapat lebih relevan dan bermanfaat bagi masa depan siswa.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the essential role of the school principal as a transformational leader in creating a conducive, collaborative, and character-oriented learning environment. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the principal’s transformational leadership contributes to developing a positive learning environment at SD Negeri 7 Talang Ubi, Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir Regency. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, and school staff. The findings reveal that transformational leadership is implemented through four key dimensions: idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration. The principal successfully fosters a culture of mutual respect, encourages teacher innovation, and nurtures a collective spirit in learning. The impact of this leadership is evident in increased discipline, motivation, and a more positive school climate. These findings are expected to contribute theoretically to educational leadership development and serve as a practical reference for principals to create a harmonious and productive learning environment. Abstract

Education in the digital era demands professional, adaptive, and innovative educators. Empowering educators has become a crucial strategy for improving the quality of national education. This study aims to analyze the central role of leadership in the process of empowering educators in educational institutions. The method used is a library research with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected from various scientific journals, books, and relevant literature sources which were then analyzed in depth. The results show that leadership, especially transformational leadership, plays a vital role as a motivator, facilitator, and visionary. An effective leader is able to create a conducive work climate, encourage competency development, provide autonomy, and build a collaborative culture. Effective empowerment strategies identified include continuous training, delegation of trust and responsibility, and the implementation of constructive appreciation and feedback systems. Successful empowerment has a direct impact on increasing the competence, motivation, and professionalism of educators, which in turn contributes to improving the quality of student learning. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find and explain the existence of pantun as a means of environmental communication in the Uluan community of South Sumatra. The study used a qualitative method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and searches for relevant documents. The results of this study indicate that environmental communication in pantun can be divided into two categories. The first category explicitly refers to environmental issues, and the second category is not explicitly related to environmental issues, but its implicit meaning refers to environmental issues. This study also found that pantun as a form of environmental communication in the Uluan community of South Sumatra is dynamic and continues to reproduce. Because pantun is rooted and sourced from the environmental conditions of the community itself, this study recommends that pantun can be a medium for environmental campaigns.

Abstract

Modern Islamic education faces the challenge of globalization, which demands innovation in the learning process to make it more engaging, interactive, and relevant to the times. One approach increasingly developed is fun learning, a learning model designed to be enjoyable while maintaining educational and religious values. This study aims to analyze whether fun learning is merely entertainment or an innovative solution for optimizing children’s intelligence in the era of modern Islamic education. The method used is library research by reviewing books, scientific journals, articles, and relevant educational documents. The results show that fun learning has a positive impact on children’s intellectual, emotional, spiritual, and social intelligence. This approach fosters learning motivation, enhances conceptual understanding, and strengthens students’ religious character through creative and contextual methods. In conclusion, fun learning is not merely entertainment but an innovative learning strategy aligned with Islamic values and effective in optimizing children’s intelligence potential in modern Islamic education.

Abstract

Dalam konteks politik pendidikan di Indonesia, peran Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) tidak hanya sebagai pemangku kepentingan, tetapi juga sebagai agen perubahan yang proaktif dan berpengaruh.Pengurus Besar Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) sebagai lembaga tertinggi dalam struktur organisasi NU memainkan peran penting dalam mendukung dan mengembangkan pendidikan pesantren.Pendidikan pesantren memiliki peran historis dan strategis dalam pembentukan karakter serta penyebaran nilai-nilai keislaman di Indonesia. Tulisan ini, akan menjelaskan bagaimana peran politik PBNU berkontribusi dalam penguatan pendidikan pesantren.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi pustaka (library research). PBNU memiliki peran krusial dalam memperkuat pendidikan pesantren. Upaya PBNU dalam pengesahan Undang-Undang Pesantren, peningkatan kualitas pendidikan, serta kemandirian ekonomi pesantren menunjukkan komitmen kuat terhadap pengembangan pesantren sebagai bagian integral dari sistem pendidikan nasional. Dukungan ini memastikan pesantren tetap relevan dan mampu menghasilkan lulusan yang berakhlak mulia, berpengetahuan luas, dan berdaya saing tinggi, serta berkontribusi signifikan bagi pembangunan bangsa.Success in education is not only achieved through the educational system but also requires the improved performance of educational institutions in implementing education. Human resource development is a process carried out by a leader (school principal) towards subordinates (educators and education staff) to achieve the goals of the educational institution. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection conducted using observation and interview techniques. Data analysis involves three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The research results show that human resource development innovation in improving the quality of institutional performance, based on recent reviews and practical implications, highlights the importance of collaboration among teaching staff, management staff, and external stakeholders as a key to success. Careful recruitment, focused employee development, visionary leadership, structured performance management systems, and technology integration form a strategic unity. Collaboration among various stakeholders is also crucial for the sustainability and success of the educational institution's performance quality. By doing so, it can manage human resources more efficiently, respond quickly to changes, and create a dynamic organizational culture.

Abstract

This article discusses the urgency and relevance of stakeholder engagement in the context of education planning. Stakeholders, such as teachers, students, parents, communities, governments and various other relevant parties, have an important role to play in creating an inclusive, sustainable and responsive educational environment to the needs of society. The research method carried out in this article is the literature method, where the author critically examines the thoughts of figures and literature of books, journals, and those related to each other which are indeed in accordance with the material to be presented. Involving them in the educational planning process can improve the quality of educational programs, strengthen community support, and create sustainable engagement. By having a common agreement on the goals, strategies and evaluation of education programs, stakeholder engagement can strengthen transparency, accountability and participation in education decision-making. It also ensures that the various perspectives and needs of stakeholders are thoroughly considered, so that the resulting educational programs are more relevant, effective and have a positive impact on the entire educational community. Thus, this article underscores the importance of urgency and relevance of stakeholder involvement in education planning as an effort to create an education system that is inclusive, sustainable, and oriented to the needs of society as a whole. Involving stakeholders in education planning is a crucial aspect in ensuring the success and sustainability of education programs.

Abstract

Efforts to improve the quality of national education have become a primary agenda for the Indonesian government. However, the implementation of educational policies in Indonesia is not without challenges and dynamics, including political intervention. This study aims to analyze the political intervention of provincial governments in the success of national education in Indonesia. The main focus of this research is to evaluate the extent to which such political interventions affect the quality and equity of education. This study employs a qualitative approach using case study methods in several provinces in Indonesia. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with education stakeholders, policy document analysis, and field observations. The results indicate that political intervention significantly impacts the implementation of educational policies in terms of budgeting, resource distribution, and program execution. However, political intervention is also found to often create conflicts of interest that can hinder the achievement of national education goals. This study concludes that to achieve better educational success, more transparent and accountable policies are needed, as well as strengthened coordination between the central and provincial governments. With strong commitment and appropriate policies, such interventions can bring significant positive changes to the education system, thereby producing a competitive generation ready to face future challenges.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah dan Nahdlatul Ulama mempunyai peran penting dalam kehidupan politik serta proses demokratisasi pada era Reformasi di Indonesia. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan adanya kebijakan yang ditetapkan oleh kedua organisasi Kedua organisasi massa Islam terbesar di Indonesia ini tentu memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam proses demokratisasi di negri ini. Terbukti, kebijakankebijakan yang dilaksanakan oleh kedua organisasi ini telah mampu mewarnai kehidupan politik di negeri ini. Selain itu, kedua organisasi ini juga telah membantu proses pendewasaan para anggotanya untuk berdemokrasi. Pemikiran pendidikan Islam sebuah proses mengembangkan dan mendidik emosi serta perilaku sikap dengan ajaran agama Islam menjadi pribadi dengan karakter yang sesuiai dengan nilai keislaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan peninjauan literatur (Literatur review). Literatur review berfokus pada artikel original yang di dalamnya terdapat abstrak, pendahuluan, metode dan hasil. Literatur review termasuk dalam jenis penelitian kualitatif, sehingga pengelolahan data menggunakan pengelolahan data kualitatif. penelitiannya berfokus pada kepentingan. Isu-Isu Konterversial terkait Pendidikan Nasional. pendidikan Islam merupakan sebagai sebuah pondasi atau dasar pokok dari berjalannya pendidikan, sebab ajaran-ajaran pendidikan Islam memiliki sifat universal menyimpan ketentuan-ketentuan yang mangatur semua point kehidupan manusia mulai dari hubungan manusia dengan tuhannya hingga hubungan manusia dengan sesama. Dan pendidikan itu sendiri merupakan sebagai sebuah usaha terencana dan sadar dalam mewujudkan proses serta suasana dalam belajar mengajar agar peserta didik dapat mengembangkan potensi yang ada dalam dirinya secara aktif dalam aspek spiritual, kepribadian, kecerdasan, pengendalian diri, akhlaq mulia serta ketrampilan. Pendidikan juga merupakan sebuah upaya dalam proses mengembangkan potensi manusia. Pendidikan Islam pada dasarnya memiliki tujuan untuk mencetak pemimpin yang memiliki amar maruf nahi mungkar.

Abstract

Traditional oral literature has long served to preserve and pass down cultural values and wisdom. In the Uluan society of South Sumatra, pantun, a traditional Malay poetic form, plays a central role in communicating messages related to societal norms and environmental stewardship. This study explores the environmental wisdom embedded in Uluan pantun, using a symbolic interactionism perspective to examine how these oral traditions convey ecological messages. The research employs a qualitative methodology with an ethnographic communication approach. Data were collected through documentation of ancient pantun texts, in-depth interviews with cultural practitioners and local community members, participatory observation in key Uluan regions, and focus group discussions (FGD) to provide a comprehensive view of how pantun is actualized in contemporary environmental conservation efforts. The results show that pantun is an important medium for conveying explicit and implicit messages about the natural environment, reflecting the community’s deep connection with nature. However, modern challenges such as deforestation and land degradation have threatened the sustainability of these traditions. The novelty of this research lies in its examination of pantun as an instrument for ecological communication, an area that has received little attention in previous studies. The findings imply that revitalizing the ecological messages within pantun could significantly promote environmental awareness and community-driven conservation in Uluan society today.
