Abstract

Suboptimal growth and development in children can have adverse effects on health. This study aimed to determine the effect of developmental stimulation assistance using booklet media on the development of preschool-aged children in the working area of Samudra Public Health Center. This research was a quasi-experimental study using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 23 mothers with children aged 4–5 years, selected using accidental sampling. The research instruments included a questionnaire, the KPSP (Pre-Screening Developmental Questionnaire), and a booklet. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that family assistance using booklet media had a significant effect on both child development (p = 0.000) and maternal knowledge (p = 0.000). The study concludes that developmental stimulation assistance through booklet media significantly affects both the developmental status of preschool-aged children and maternal knowledge.

Abstract

The Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Book includes health records of both mother and child from pregnancy through the child’s fifth year, and functions as a communication tool among healthcare providers, pregnant women, and their families. Strengthening the use of the MCH Book among mothers aims to enhance their understanding of its function in health monitoring and as a source of health information. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of facilitated use of the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Book on pregnant women's health service-seeking behavior during pregnancy within the working area of Banda Sakti Health Center. This study utilized a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-test and post-test model. The research was conducted within the working area of the Banda Sakti Public Health Center. A total of 52 pregnant women were selected as participants. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire, and statistical analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The findings indicated that guided use of the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Book significantly improved pregnant women's knowledge and health-seeking behaviors during pregnancy.

Abstract

  Penerapan Pembelajaran Berbantuan Media Papan Berpaku Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Pada Materi Memahami Luas dan Keliling Bangun Datar Sederhana Kelas IV SD VII Patokan Tahun Pelajaran 2023-2024. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD VII Patokan Kecamatan Bungatan Kabupaten Situbondo. Adapun yang mendorong peneliti melakukan penelitian yaitu ditemukannya berbagai masalah yang dihadapi siswa kelas IV SD VII Patokan, salah satu masalah yang dihadapi adalah memahami konsep luas dan keliling segitiga dan jajargenjang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan media papan berpaku untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Matematika siswa pada materi memahami Luas Dan Keliling bangun datar sederhana Kelas IV SD VII Patokan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD VII Patokan dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 16 siswa. Peneliti ini menganalisa dan menyajikan sejumlah permasalahan secara sistematis sehingga mudah untuk memecahkan bersama. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan melakukan  wawancara dengan pihak sekolah dan menganalisa data yang sudah ada serta data nilai setelah pelaksanaan. Berdasarkan data yang disajikan, penerapan media papan paku dalam pembelajaran matematika pada materi luas dan keliling bangun datar sederhana menunjukkan hasil yang sangat positif. Rata-rata skor tes konsep matematika meningkat sebesar 30%, dari 65 sebelum penerapan media menjadi 85 setelahnya. Jumlah siswa yang memahami konsep juga meningkat secara signifikan, dari 12 menjadi 25 siswa, serta keaktifan siswa dalam kelas meningkat dari 40% menjadi 75%.

Abstract

Organic synthetic leather is engineered leather created with raw materials that can be found around the human environment in the form of fruits or fruit peels which have high fiber so that they can deal with organic waste, with organic synthetic leather the population of animals killed for their skins reduced so as to maintain the survival of animals. This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of polyurethane (PU) and chitosan on the characteristics of the resulting leather. With variation (Polyurethane A) 2 : 1 (Polyurethane B), namely 15 mL, 30 mL, 45 mL, 60 mL, 75 mL and chitosan 2 g, 4 g, 6 g, 8 g, 10 g. The addition of PU affects the elasticity and hardness of the final leather product and chitosan has the effect of inhibiting bacterial growth and fungus on synthetic leather. The organoleptic test for all synthetic leather does not meet SNI standards. Based on the results of anti-bacterial testing (colony counter) there were the highest bacteria in the lowest chitosan variation, namely 2 grams and the lowest bacteria in the highest chitosan variation, namely 10 grams. The result of the tensile strength test is that the highest tensile strength value is produced by PU (2:1) at 50:25 ml polyurethane volume of 3.432 MPa with 21.36% elongation and the lowest tensile strength value is produced by PU (2:1) at 15 volume : 8 mL of 16.181 MPa elongation 21.42%.

Abstract

Understanding ṣaḥīḥ ḥadīths has remained a critical methodological discourse in both classical and contemporary Islamic studies. Two major hermeneutical approaches—textual and contextual—are central to this discourse. The textual approach emphasizes a literalist reading of the ḥadīth text in order to preserve the authenticity and sanctity of the Prophet Muhammad’s teachings. In contrast, the contextual approach considers the socio-historical and cultural background in which a ḥadīth was transmitted, thereby enabling its normative messages to remain relevant to contemporary realities. This article addresses the methodological question of how these two interpretative approaches can be integrated to respond to the dynamic challenges of modern Muslim life.This study employs a qualitative-descriptive method using a library research model. The primary sources include both classical ḥadīth compilations and contemporary scholarly literature. Selected ṣaḥīḥ ḥadīths that are often debated between textualist and contextualist interpretations are analyzed to demonstrate the theoretical implications of both approaches. Findings indicate that the textual and contextual approaches are not inherently contradictory but rather complementary. The textual method safeguards the transmissional integrity (riwāyah) of the ḥadīth, while the contextual approach ensures that its meanings (dirāyah) can be appropriately situated within evolving socio-cultural frameworks. The integration of both provides a more balanced and comprehensive understanding of Prophetic traditions. In conclusion, a synthesis between textual fidelity and contextual relevance is essential to interpret ḥadīths holistically. This integrative framework is proposed as a viable model for contemporary ḥadīth interpretation that is both normatively authentic and socially responsive.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to enhance teachers' understanding at Sekolah Entrepreneur Tahfidz Muamalah Al Qudsiyah regarding the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model, as an effort to promote more creative, contextual, and student-relevant learning. The learning model and media were designed to facilitate students in entrepreneurial learning activities related to aquaculture, which is an integral part of the school's curriculum. The program was implemented through several stages: preparation, initial evaluation, implementation, and final evaluation. The initial assessment revealed that most teachers had not yet fully understood the concept of PjBL. Through training sessions that included material presentation, discussions, and Q&A, a significant improvement in teachers' comprehension was achieved; all participants (100%) demonstrated a good understanding of the PjBL model by the end of the program. This training effectively equipped teachers with the knowledge and skills necessary to design project-based learning, aligning with the strengthening of the Merdeka Curriculum implementation and the development of 21st-century skills. The project learning activity on tilapia aquaculture using the biofloc system was also carried out through hands-on practice in biofloc media preparation, fish cultivation over three months, and periodic sampling. The program’s success highlights the importance of continuous training and mentoring to support innovative learning practices in schools.

Abstract

SMKS Pesantren Alam Indonesia merupakan sekolah berbasis pesantren yang memadukan pendidikan kejuruan pertanian dengan nilai-nilai keagamaan. Meskipun memiliki potensi pertanian yang besar, sistem irigasi yang digunakan masih bersifat manual dan tradisional, sehingga kurang efisien dalam penggunaan air dan tenaga kerja. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan teknologi cetak 3D (3D printer) sebagai alat bantu dalam merancang dan memproduksi kontroler sistem irigasi tanaman berbasis Internet of Things (IoT). Metode pelaksanaan mencakup observasi kebutuhan di lapangan, perancangan perangkat, pencetakan komponen menggunakan 3D printer, serta instalasi dan pelatihan penggunaan kepada guru dan siswa. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan 3D printer mampu menekan biaya produksi alat kontroler serta memungkinkan kustomisasi sesuai kebutuhan lokal. Selain itu, kegiatan ini meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep IoT dalam pertanian dan memberikan pengalaman langsung dalam penggunaan teknologi manufaktur digital. Implikasi praktis dari kegiatan ini mencakup peningkatan efisiensi irigasi dan optimalisasi pembelajaran berbasis praktik. Secara sosial, program ini memperkuat kapasitas sekolah dalam mengembangkan teknologi tepat guna dan memberdayakan siswa sebagai calon inovator pertanian. Nilai orisinalitas program terletak pada integrasi teknologi IoT dan 3D printing dalam konteks sekolah menengah kejuruan berbasis pesantren.

Abstract

Edukasi kesehatan mengenai gizi seimbang sangat penting, terutama di kalangan anak-anak dan remaja, yang sedang dalam masa pertumbuhan dan perkembangan. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa status gizi yang baik berkontribusi terhadap prestasi belajar yang optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilakukan di Pondok Pesantren Darul Arqam Muhammadiyah Gombara, melalui tiga tahapan yaitu (1) Fokus Group Diskusi, (2) kegiatan edukasi dan pemeriksaan kesehatan) dan (3) pendampingan makan siang dengan menu makanan bergizi. Temuan kegiatan ini, Hasil temuan ini menunjukkan proporsi signifikan responden (31%) dari 71 orang yang masuk ke dalam kategori berat badan kurang, yang mungkin menunjukkan kekurangan gizi atau asupan makanan yang tidak memadai di antara kelompok ini. Hal ini menunjukkan perlunya pendidikan dan dukungan nutrisi untuk memastikan asupan diet yang memadai, terutama di antara mereka yang berisiko kekurangan gizi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan media vlog sebagai sarana pembelajaran materi kebersihan lingkungan rumah bagi peserta didik Fase C (kelas V dan VI Sekolah Dasar). Fokus penelitian berada pada tahap analisis kebutuhan sebagai langkah awal dalam pengembangan modul proyek. Analisis kebutuhan dilakukan untuk mengetahui kondisi media pembelajaran yang tersedia serta mengevaluasi keterbatasannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan mengacu pada model Borg and Gall pada tahap awal. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 3 guru dari SDN 56 Banda Aceh, 30 siswa kelas V, 1 ahli media, dan 1 guru ahli materi kebersihan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, wawancara, dan observasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif untuk menggambarkan kebutuhan dan persepsi pengguna terhadap media pembelajaran yang digunakan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa media yang digunakan saat ini masih bersifat konvensional, kurang menarik, dan belum memanfaatkan potensi media digital secara optimal. Sebagian besar responden menyatakan bahwa media vlog berbasis video lebih sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik digital native. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan media vlog dipandang penting untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kepedulian siswa terhadap kebersihan lingkungan rumah. Temuan ini menjadi dasar untuk merancang media pembelajaran yang inovatif, relevan, dan kontekstual bagi pembelajaran tematik di Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

The phenomenon of negative behavior among students (santri) in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), such as bullying, violence against teachers, and promiscuity, has become an increasing concern in Islamic education. Pesantren, traditionally regarded as institutions of moral and spiritual development, are now facing complex psychosocial challenges among their students. This study aims to analyze the psychological and social factors that underlie deviant behaviors among santri. The research employs a qualitative-descriptive method using a case study approach in several pesantren across Indonesia. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with students, teachers, and caretakers, as well as document analysis. The findings reveal that negative behaviors are influenced by family background, peer group dynamics, weak supervision, and the lack of psychological-based educational approaches within pesantren. Violence against teachers often stems from imbalanced power relations, while promiscuity arises from exposure to social media and inadequate value-based control. In conclusion, a holistic educational approach grounded in psychology and Islamic values needs to be strengthened to address these issues both preventively and rehabilitatively.
