Abstract

Downsindromes need media to help them focus on learning and understand the material about numbers. Subjects who are classified as active behavior may have creative thinking abilities that need to be explored. The purpose of this study was to determine how the application of video media with artificial intelligence (AI) articulation with modeling techniques and the results of improving creative thinking skills in down syndrome disabilities. Qualitative research with an approach to data analysis using descriptive was conducted to obtain data. The method of interview, observation with the help of video recording was used in data collection. The results of this study state that learning carried out using video media with artificial intelligence articulation with modeling techniques can be applied well, indicated by SDS can be active and focused in participating in learning activities. The increase in creative thinking skills from the beginning has not appeared at all creative thinking skills to the results obtained that SDS has the ability to think creatively with 2 indicators appearing, namely flexibility and originality.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum constitutes an innovative educational approach that responds to evolving societal and technological demands within the Society 5.0 framework. This study conducted a comprehensive review of existing literature to gain insight into the Merdeka Curriculum's underlying philosophy and assess its contribution to basic education. The findings indicate that the Merdeka Curriculum is designed to foster the development of essential 21st-century skills required in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. To ensure effective implementation, it is necessary to effect changes in the educational paradigm, develop teacher competencies, and garner support from various stakeholders. The Merdeka Curriculum presents an invaluable opportunity to cultivate students with the requisite attributes to thrive in an era of accelerating technological and social change. This literature study offers a nuanced understanding of the Merdeka Curriculum in the context of basic education that is pertinent to the challenges of the present moment.

Abstract

Spatial literacy is an important component that students must master. Spatial literacy supports students' understanding of flat shapes which are closely related to the real world. This study aims to describe the phenomenon of spatial literacy in student studies on flat shapes. This research design uses a descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, pretest & posttest, and interviews. The research location in this study was VII Minqhotrotul Ulum Gumukmas Middle School. The subjects in this study consisted of 3 students who had high mathematical abilities and 2 students who had low mathematical abilities. The results of this study indicate that students who have high abilities can sketch spatial objects through visual images based on contextual problems, identify questions and statements of mathematical models and relate concepts and spatial object relationships in calculation techniques and are able to express ideas related to spatial object relationships through oral and written . Whereas students who have low mathematical abilities have known that a phenomenon cannot create spatial objects through visual images based on contextual problems, is unable to express ideas related to spatial object relationships through speech and writing, but can identify questions and statements of mathematical models, but cannot relate concepts and spatial object relationships in calculation techniques. so from this phenomenon it can be concluded that students who have high mathematical abilities have fulfilled the three aspects of spatial literacy indicators, namely the aspects of Visualization, Reasoning, and Communication, and students who have low mathematical abilities do not fulfill the three aspects of spatial literacy indicators. Abstract

Carrying out teaching and learning activities is not valid if it is not equipped with learning tools. This made the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Mr. Nadim Makarim, simplify the existing learning tools with one sheet of lesson plans. However, even though the name is 1 sheet, many teachers still feel doubtful and uncertain about whether there is really only 1 sheet. This is a problem for teachers at SMK Plus Al Mujahidi Gumukmas Jember. The school principal, through the head of the curriculum, invited the team to this activity. The methods used lecture, question and answer, discussion and practice. The results obtained from this activity are the teachers' understanding of how the 1 sheet RPP, LKPD, assessment and scoring rubric work. The practice carried out in this activity refers to one-on-one mentoring between the teacher and the service team

Abstract

AL Furqon Jember Junior High School students received assistance with ecoprinting techniques. The aim is to teach students about the utilization of natural materials, encourage their creativity, and provide them with knowledge. During the Midterm Activities (MTS), this mentoring was conducted through lectures, discussions, practices, and material sharing. Students can quickly learn the ecoprint technique because the materials and tools used are easy and fast compared to batik. In addition, the materials used are readily available in the surrounding environment, namely various leaves and flowers. The result of this ecoprinting assistance is a patterned cloth that can be used as a display (decoration) and tablecloth.  At the end of this assistance, the students' work was processed and utilized for display and use in the school environment.

Abstract

AL Furqon Jember Junior High School students received guidance in applying the Quizizz application through quizzing activities. This effort aims to increase students’ learning motivation, provide knowledge, and reveal their potential. During the Mid-Semester Activities (MTS), guidance was carried out through discussion, practice, as well as providing material in the form of quizzes directly from the Quizizz application. Students can easily understand the technique of using this application because the tools used are easy and flexible, with laptops, LCDs, and projectors available at school. The results of this quizzing activity are in the form of general knowledge questions that students must answer through multiple choices quickly. At the end.

Abstract

Anak dengan disabilitas spektrum autis perlu mendapatkan waktu yang lebih di rumah untuk dapat membiasakan belajar mandiri. Pembisaan ini tentu saja memerlukanperan penting orang tua dalam pelaksanaanya. Keluarga dengan kondisi anak yang mengalami spektru autis memrlukan pendampingan yang tepat untuk dapat menjadikan orangtua berwawasan dan siap mendapingi anak belajar mandiri di rumah. Perlu diberikan pendamapingan bagi anak dan khususnya orang tua dalam kemampuan belajar mandiri. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara serta pembelajaran online dan offline. Metode ini sangat penting dilakukan untuk denganmneyesuaikan berdasarkan hasil identifikasi bahwa sekolah menerapkan pembelajaran online dalampemberian tugas. Dalam pendampingan belajar mandiri pada anak spektrum autis untuk materi matematika aljabar menggunakan media bantu untuk pembelajaran yaitu video interaktif yang khusus bagi anak spektrum autis. Media pembelajaran khusu bagi anak spektrum autis memerlukan ketersedian yang banyak agar dapat meningkatkan minat dan ketertarikan dalam belajar sehingga anak dapat belajar mandiri dan menyelesaikan tugas yang dibrikan dnegan baik

Abstract

The objective of this study is to enhance the algebraic skills of children on the autism spectrum by employing interactive media. This research introduces a novel approach aimed at boosting the capabilities of children with autism spectrum disorder through the utilization of interactive video media. The study was conducted directly on a 14-year-old child identified as AK, who is in the sixth grade of elementary school and has autism spectrum disorder. Data for this research was gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation methods. The findings of the research indicated a notably limited grasp of algebraic operations concepts among children on the autism spectrum. The underlying cause for this limited understanding was found to be is because appropriate learning media is needed for learning. Subject AK, who is a child on the autism spectrum, experienced an increase in his ability to understand concepts in algebraic operations using interactive video media. Improvement is shown in response, activity, and being able to interact well. This interactive video media was specially created to suit the needs and conditions of AK's initial knowledge of algebraic operations. A follow-up recommendation that can be carried out is to conduct development research on interactive video media specifically for children on the autism spectrum.

Abstract

In an era of rapidly developing technology, the need to simplify and improve the learning process of mathematics is increasingly urgent. One emerging solution is the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in mathematics education. AI provides learning content that is tailored to students' needs, creating a relevant and engaging learning experience. An understanding of AI and the ability to interact with technology is important, helping students face the challenges of the digital age. Understanding math concepts is the foundation for logical thinking, problem solving and critical thinking. Research shows that some students do not fully understand mathematical concepts. Therefore, this study aims to identify the impact of using AI in mathematics learning on student learning outcomes. The preliminary study data showed the prevalence of AI use in mathematics learning. The results show a very strong positive correlation between the use of AI and mathematics learning outcomes, where student learning activities observed during learning using AI (Artificial Intelligence) based on observation sheets include several indicators, with the following results: 1) Visual indicators of 88%, 2) Listening indicators of 84%, 3) Oral indicators of 72.5%, and 4) Mental indicators of 84.5%. The results showed that learning activities were in the high category with a percentage of 82.25%. This shows that during learning activities, there is a good stimulus for students.
