Abstract

Community service activities in the form of scientific article writing training for teachers at SDIT Nuur A'laa Nuur Tambun, Bekasi aim to increase understanding and awareness of the benefits of writing scientific articles to build a culture of scientific literacy at SDIT Nuur A'laa Nuur Tambun, Bekasi. The method applied to this community service activity is a variety of lectures and questions and answers. This training is expected to be a good start in developing teacher writing competence and a culture of scientific literacy in educational institutions. This scientific article writing training activity was quite successful as can be seen from the number of participants who were interested and understood the material by 50%. To maximize further evaluation, it is hoped that face-to-face training and full assistance for each participant will be carried out.

Abstract

Training on the use of Microsoft Nearpod software technology as a learning medium for elementary school teachers was carried out with the aim of increasing teacher competence in adapting to the industrial revolution era 4.0. This training involved lecturers and students at the the Republic of Indonesia Defense University as resource persons and 32 teachers at SDIT Nuur 'Alaa Nuur Tambun Bekasi as participants. Through presentations, demonstrations, exercises and discussions, teachers are given knowledge and skills in using Microsoft Nearpod software technology as an interactive learning medium. This training activity provides significant benefits for teachers in improving their competence in utilizing technology as an attractive and effective learning medium.

Abstract

Leadership Training for teachers in elementary schools aims to build a spirit of leadership for teachers at SDIT Nuur A'laa Nuur Tambun Bekasi and increase teacher productivity at SDIT Nuur A'laa Nuur Tambun Bekasi. This community service activity is carried out at SDIT Nuur A'laa Nuur Tambun Bekasi, which is located at Jalan Buwek Raya No. 2B Sumber Jaya Tambun Selatan, Bekasi. This training was carried out using the method of exposure and discussion. Through this training, teachers at SDIT Nuur A'laa Nuur Tambun Bekasi are expected to be leaders who inspire to do something new and advance school organizations.

Abstract

Workshop on the management and substance of managing scientific journals towards national and international accredited journals aim to gain an understanding of how the management and substance of management of scientific journals towards national and international accredited journals within the Faculty of Military Mathematics and Natural Sciences, the Republic of Indonesia Defense University. The procedure for implementing activities starts from the preparation, implementation, and closing stages. This activity is very useful for improving the quality of scientific journal management at the Faculty of Military Mathematics and Natural Sciences, the Republic of Indonesia Defense University towards national and international accredited journals. This can also be seen from the response and enthusiasm of the participants who asked when carrying out management workshop activities and the substance of managing scientific journals towards this national and international accredited journal.

Abstract

Disaster preparedness is closely related to the level of public awareness in facing disasters or also known as disaster awareness culture. Therefore, schools have an important role in providing adequate provisions for their students through disaster education in facing the challenges of existing potential disaster threats which are part of school preparedness. One effort to improve the culture of disaster awareness can be done through education so that learning activities are expected to run optimally and with quality in accordance with learning objectives in the context of disaster mitigation. Meanwhile, disaster mitigation has meaning as a form of protection effort before, during and after a disaster occurs. Overall, disaster mitigation education can be carried out with disaster literacy. Disaster literacy is an individual's capacity to read, understand and use disaster information. Disaster literacy in question is disaster mitigation carried out in schools. Baitul Hikmah Depok Integrated High School which is located at Kp. Waterfall No. 90, RT. 02/ RW. 02, Curug Village, District. Bojongsari, Depok City, 16517 is a school that experienced the impact of the flood disaster in March 2023. Based on observations around Baitul Hikmah Depok Integrated High School, poor sanitation, minimal water absorption, and fairly high rain intensity caused the school to be flooded. . Based on the above, it is important to carry out community service activities entitled "Efforts to Increase Disaster Awareness Culture among Students to Improve Preparedness at Baitul Hikmah Depok Integrated High School". The output target of this community service activity is to convey knowledge about the introduction of disaster awareness culture and provide material for making digital posters regarding disaster awareness culture in schools. After carrying out community service activities, there is a conclusion that this community service activity has been carried out communicatively, as seen from the enthusiastic participants in the question and answer process, responding when asked questions and listening to explanations of the questions given. With this training, students can understand the steps that can be taken to mitigate floods in order to increase flood disaster preparedness for students at Baitul Hikmah Depok Integrated High School.

Abstract

Flooding is the overflowing of a river due to water exceeding the capacity of the river so that it overflows and inundates the plains or lower areas around it. DKI Jakarta Province has various complex disaster-related problems with 40% of its area being lowlands that are prone to flooding. One of these areas is Bidara Cina Village which is an area that is often affected by flooding in DKI Jakarta which is located in Jatinegara District, East Jakarta. It should be realized that efforts are needed to reduce the impact of a greater disaster by carrying out holistic and comprehensive disaster management efforts so that the risk of the disaster can be reduced so that it can build community preparedness in an area, especially in RT. 007/ RW. 001 Bidara Cina Village. Based on the above, it is important to carry out community service activities entitled "Increasing Disaster Literacy to Build Community Preparedness to Face Flood Disasters in RT. 007/ RW. 001, Bidara Cina Village, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta". The target of this community service activity is to convey knowledge about disaster literacy to build community preparedness in facing flood disasters in RT. 007/ RW. 001, Bidara Cina Village, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta and the community knows how to manage and sort waste. The community service activity that has been carried out well without significant obstacles and there is a conclusion that this community service activity has been carried out communicatively, seen from the participants who are enthusiastic in the question-and-answer process, provide responses when asked and ask questions and listen to explanations of the questions given. With this training, it is hoped that disaster literacy will increase community preparedness in facing flood disasters and waste management and sorting in RT. 007/ RW. 001, Bidara Cina Village, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology in the world of work has brought major changes, including in the field of accounting. The use of accounting computer applications has become an absolute necessity for companies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity in managing financial data. Therefore, it is important to improve the understanding of accounting computer applications for prospective first accounting technicians through community service activities. This activity aims to improve the understanding of accounting computer applications for prospective first accounting technicians. After the community service activities were carried out, there was an increase in the understanding of accounting computer applications for prospective first accounting technicians and the activities were able to run smoothly, and participants understood the material provided.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country prone to natural disasters, such as earthquakes, floods, landslides, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions. Indonesia's geographical conditions located in the Pacific Ring of Fire and having a tropical climate make this country face continuous disaster risks. Therefore, disaster mitigation training is very important to provide understanding and skills to students so that they can act quickly and appropriately when a disaster occurs. Abstract

Teachers’ awareness of trauma experienced by children is the main foundation in efforts to create a learning environment that supports post-disaster psychosocial recovery, especially in 3T areas that are vulnerable to various forms of crisis. Teachers who have a high awareness of the impact of trauma will be more sensitive in recognizing signs of emotional and behavioral disorders in students, such as excessive anxiety, withdrawal, difficulty concentrating, or drastic changes in attitude. This awareness is not only limited to theoretical knowledge, but also includes deep empathy and sensitivity to students’ social, cultural, and personal backgrounds. Teachers who are aware of children’s trauma will try to avoid a harsh or coercive approach in the learning process, and instead will prefer flexible, supportive, and positive reinforcement methods. In addition, teachers who understand the importance of trauma recovery will be more proactive in finding solutions, such as coordinating with schools, families, or professionals to provide appropriate interventions. In this context, teacher training and coaching on trauma-informed education is very important so that this awareness can be systematically increased. With this awareness, teachers do not only become educators, but also protectors and companions who help students through difficult times, so that the learning process can be more humane and meaningful.
