Abstract

South Korean popular culture, particularly K-Pop, has become a global phenomenon that influences consumer patterns, including in Indonesia. In the context of marketing, the use of celebrity endorsers has proven effective in attracting consumer attention, such as the collaboration between Nabati and Enhypen in promoting the Nabati Goguma product. This study aims to analyze the impact of celebrity endorsers on impulsive buying behavior, using a quantitative method with a survey of 100 Enhypen fans as respondents. Celebrity endorsers can be explained through four dimensions: Visibility, Credibility, Attraction, and Power. The impulsive buying behavior studied includes: spontaneity in purchasing, buying without consideration, appeal, and the desire for immediate acquisition. The analysis results show that celebrity endorsers have a significant impact on impulsive buying, with a contribution of 31% based on simple linear regression analysis. The results from the mean test show the highest value in the attraction dimension for both variables, emphasizing the importance of visual appeal in marketing strategies to create an emotional connection with the audience. This study recommends exploring other dimensions, such as credibility and visibility, as well as optimizing visual appeal in marketing campaigns to enhance promotional effectiveness. Budaya populer Korea Selatan, khususnya K-Pop, telah menjadi fenomena global yang memengaruhi pola konsumsi masyarakat, termasuk di Indonesia. Dalam konteks pemasaran, penggunaan celebrity endorser terbukti efektif untuk menarik perhatian konsumen, seperti kolaborasi antara Nabati dan Enhypen dalam mempromosikan produk Nabati Goguma. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh celebrity endorser terhadap perilaku impulsive buying, menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan survei 100 responden penggemar Enhypen. Celebrity endorser dapat dijelaskan melalui empat dimensi yaitu: Visibility, Credibility, Attraction dan Power. Perilaku impulsive buying yang diteliti mencakupi: spontanitas pembelian, pembelian tanpa pertimbangan, daya tarik dan keinginan segera. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa celebrity endorser memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap impulsive buying, dengan kontribusi sebesar 31% berdasarkan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil pada uji mean diperoleh nilai tertinggi pada dimensi daya tarik pada kedua variabel yang menekankan pentingnya daya tarik visual dalam strategi pemasaran untuk menciptakan hubungan emosional dengan audiens. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan eksplorasi dimensi lainnya, seperti credibility dan visibility, serta optimalisasi daya tarik visual dalam kampanye pemasaran untuk meningkatkan efektivitas promosi.

Abstract

One of the social media platforms that has grown rapidly and become an effective marketing tool is TikTok. With over 90 million monthly active users in Indonesia, primarily from the 18–35 age group, TikTok has significant reach. This study aims to analyze the influence of TikTok advertisements on consumer behavior regarding Skintific cosmetics. The research adopts advertising communication and consumer behavior theories, focusing on the elements of content creativity, influencer impact, and interactivity level. The research employs a quantitative approach through a survey of 106 TikTok users exposed to Skintific advertisements. Data analysis includes simple linear regression and Pearson correlation tests. The results reveal that TikTok advertisements significantly influence consumer behavior, with content creativity and influencer recommendations serving as the primary factors driving purchase interest. Additionally, high interactivity on the TikTok platform is shown to enhance consumer engagement, ultimately leading to purchase decisions. Based on these findings, it is recommended that Skintific continue to enhance creative content strategies, collaborate with influencers, and utilize TikTok's analytical data for personalized ad campaigns. The conclusion of this study asserts that TikTok advertisements significantly affect consumer behavior regarding Skintific cosmetics. Salah satu platform media sosial yang telah tumbuh pesat dan menjadi alat pemasaran yang efektif adalah TikTok. Lebih dari 90 juta pengguna aktif bulanan di Indonesia, terutama dari kelompok usia 18-35 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh iklan di platform TikTok terhadap perilaku konsumen pada kosmetik Skintific. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori komunikasi iklan dan perilaku konsumen, dengan fokus pada elemen kreativitas konten, pengaruh influencer, serta tingkat interaktivitas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan survei terhadap 106 responden pengguna TikTok yang telah terpapar iklan Skintific. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dan uji korelasi Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa iklan TikTok memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap perilaku konsumen, dengan kreativitas konten dan rekomendasi influencer menjadi faktor utama yang mendorong minat beli. Selain itu, interaktivitas yang tinggi pada platform TikTok terbukti meningkatkan engagement konsumen, yang berujung pada keputusan pembelian. Berdasarkan hasil temuan, disarankan agar Skintific terus meningkatkan strategi konten kreatif dan kolaborasi dengan influencer, serta memanfaatkan data analitik TikTok untuk personalisasi kampanye iklan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa iklan TikTok berpengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumen pada kosmetik Skintific.

Abstract

Media exposure plays a significant role in increasing the popularity of Korean dramas. Human life is also greatly influenced by technology and the mass media.  In an effort to find their identity, adolescents often idealize celebrities as perfect role models, a phenomenon commonly known as celebrity worship.  With this background, this study aims to analyze the influence of media and celebrity worship on Korean drama addiction among early adults. A quantitative method with a questionnaire instrument was used, and the multiple linear regression data analysis technique was applied to test the hypothesis. The results of the study found that media exposure had a partial effect on the level of addiction, while the celebrity worship variable did not have a partial effect. This means that the more often someone is exposed to media related to Korean dramas and the higher the level of worship of the actors, the greater the likelihood they will be addicted to watching them. Simultaneously, media exposure and celebrity worship have an influence of 25.3% on the level of Korean drama addiction. In conclusion, this study provides empirical evidence that both media and celebrity worship play a significant role in driving Korean drama addiction among early adults. Terpaan media memainkan peran yang sangat signifikan dalam menaikkan popularitas drama Korea. Kehidupan manusia pun sangat dipengaruhi oleh teknologi dan media massa. Dalam upaya mencari identitas diri, remaja seringkali mengidealkan selebritas sebagai role model yang sempurna, hal ini biasa disebut sebagai celebrity worship. Dengan latar belakang tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh media dan celebrity worship terhadap adiksi drama Korea pada kalangan dewasa awal. Metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan instrumen kuesioner digunakan, dan teknik pengolahan data analisis regresi linear berganda diaplikasikan untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menemukan terpaan media berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap tingkat adiksi, sedangkan variabel celebrity worship secara parsial tidak memiliki pengaruh. Ini berarti, semakin sering seseorang terpapar media terkait drama Korea dan semakin tinggi tingkat pemujaannya terhadap para pemain, maka semakin besar kemungkinan mereka akan kecanduan tontonan tersebut. Secara simultan, terpaan media dan celebrity worship memiliki pengaruh sebesar 25,3% terhadap tingkat adiksi drama Korea. Simpulannya, penelitian ini memberikan bukti empiris bahwa baik media maupun pemujaan selebriti memiliki peran besar dalam mendorong kecanduan drama Korea pada kalangan dewasa awal.

Abstract

Early childhood, especially in the age range of 0 to 8 years, is a crucial stage in the process of human growth and development because in this period there is an acceleration of brain development. One of the important factors that influence this stage is cognitive stimulation, which includes the ability to think, recognize patterns, solve problems, and understand cause-and-effect relationships. Play is an effective way to encourage children's cognitive growth, because through this fun activity, children can explore ideas, hone their imagination, and learn to solve various challenges. Play also supports memory, focus, and social skills such as cooperation, sharing and conflict resolution. Thus, play-based approaches are essential in supporting the holistic development of early childhood. This study aims to explore play strategies that can effectively stimulate children's cognitive development, as well as provide applicative guidance for parents and educators to optimize these methods. It is hoped that the findings from this research can be a source of insight for creating play activities that are not only fun but also full of educational value, in order to support the maximum learning experience for children.

Abstract

The digital era keeps evolving, particularly in terms of communication technology and internet usage. It is predicted that around 80% of Indonesia's population will have social media accounts by 2026, with the majority of users being Generation Z. The close relationship between Generation Z. Social media has given rise to the term "heavy social media users," referring to individuals who engage with social media for more than four hours a day. This study analyzes self-disclosure among Generation Z heavy social media users in Bali. The research adopts a quantitative approach, using a survey method. The population of this study consists of Generation Z individuals who are heavy social media users and reside in Bali. Nonprobability sampling, specifically purposive sampling, was used with predefined criteria. The findings indicate that while Instagram is the most frequently used social media platform by Generation Z, this group tends to engage in self-disclosure more on Twitter and TikTok, with an average of 10-12 times per day. Generation Z users distinguish between positive and negative self-disclosure, where positive disclosures are made public and accessible to many. In contrast, negative disclosures remain private and hidden from the broader social media audience.

Abstract

This community service activity was conducted in Sintang Regency by a team of lecturers and students from Muhammadiyah University of Pontianak, aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of Nasyiatul Aisyiyah members in utilizing eco-enzymes as a basic ingredient for making environmentally friendly solid soap. The selection of this topic is motivated by the importance of developing environmentally-based creative economies and empowering women in border areas. The methods used include Focus Group Discussion (FGD), socialization, and skill demonstrations. The results show a significant improvement in participants' understanding, evidenced by an increase in pre-test and post-test scores of 54 points in the socialization and 40 points in the training. This activity not only provides theoretical knowledge but also equips practical skills that can be applied in daily life. This program is important in supporting the achievement of SDG 8 and the economic empowerment of the community through environmentally friendly products.

Abstract

Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat Palace is located in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The Sultanate of Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat is recognized as the nation's cultural heritage which has been passed down from generation to generation and is regulated in the Law on the Special Region of Yogyakarta No. 13 of 2012. The courtier at the Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat Palace is one of the actors of Javanese cultural preservation. They are people who dedicate their lives to working in the palace and come from people who have blood relations with the royal family or ordinary people who have a desire to devote themselves. The Abdi Dalem of the Ngayogyakarta Palace consists of two groups, namely Keprajan and Punakawan. A courtier is a person who has retired and gives time, knowledge, and energy to help the palace, while the courtier is punakawan from the general public. Punakawan courtiers are still divided into two groups, namely Punakawan Tepas who have working hours like office employees, and Punakawan Caos who is on duty every ten days. The majority of palace courtiers come from the Javanese ethnic group, the largest ethnic group in Indonesia. For the courtier, if he is in the environment, the philosophy of the court is applicable which means that every movement of the courtier is obliged to perform sembah in the palace. Every time he steps past a certain place or object, the courtier is required to perform sembah, cupping both palms in front of his chest with his head slightly lowered. This qualitative research with an ethnographic approach was carried out at the Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat Palace by interviewing three resource persons from different districts or tepas. Sembah is one of the symbols of respect or greetings taklim to people of higher rank or places in the palace that are considered sacred. Sembah does not mean worship as in the concept of worship of Balinese Hindus. When performing sembah, the thumb of the hand faces upwards as symbol of the relationship with God while the other four fingers are straight forward as symbol of the relationship with nature, the relationship with man, the relationship with animals, and finally the relationship with the invisible nature. Male sembah is different from female sembah.

Abstract

The processing of Valvariela volvacea (Straw Mushroom) into innovative products such as crispy chips, meatballs, and nuggets can serve as an alternative for economic development in the community, particularly for the PKK (Family Welfare) women in Binjai Hilir Village. The potential of mushrooms, which are easily accessible, nutritious, and environmentally friendly, offers significant opportunities to create high-value processed products. However, the community's knowledge and skills in processing straw mushrooms into attractive and value-added products are still limited. The goal of this activity is to enhance the knowledge of the PKK women on how to process straw mushrooms into crispy chips and to provide new business opportunities to improve family income. This activity uses a practical training method for making crispy mushroom chips, along with guidance throughout the production process. As a result, the PKK women in Binjai Hilir Village gain improved skills, economic empowerment, and new profitable business opportunities.ABSTRAKPengolahan Jamur Merang dengan sebutan Valvariela volvacea menjadi produk olahan yang inovatif, seperti  crispy jamur, bakso jamur, serta nugget jamur  dapat menjadi alternatif pengembangan ekonomi masyarakat, khususnya bagi ibu-ibu PKK di Desa Binjai Hilir, Potensi jamur yang mudah diperoleh, kaya gizi, dan ramah lingkungan memberikan peluang besar dalam menciptakan produk olahan yang bernilai tinggi. Namun, pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah Jamur Merang masih terbatas. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu-ibu PKK tentang cara mengolah Jamur Merang menjadi crispy yang renyah dan untuk memberikan peluang usaha baru untuk meningkatkan ekonomi keluarga. Kegiatan ini menggunakan metode, pelatihan praktis pembuatan  crispy Jamur Merang, dan pendampingan selama proses produksi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini, ibu-ibu PKK di Desa Binjai Hilir mendapatkan peningkatan keterampilan, pemberdayaan ekonomi, dan peluang bisnis baru yang menguntungkan.

Abstract

TikTok allows users to share life moments, including the dynamics of friendships, romance, and family relationships through videos or photos that quickly spread widely through the For You Page (FYP). One phenomenon that has emerged from TikTok users is the standardization of romantic relationships, where certain trends on the platform indirectly shape expectations in romantic relationships. This study aims to determine and analyze adolescents' perceptions of the standardization of dating on TikTok. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive statistical data processing to see the audience's perception of the standardization of dating on TikTok. The sampling technique used purposive sampling of 100 respondents calculated using the Lemeshow formula. The results of the study showed that the highest average value was in the stimulus dimension and the lowest average value was in the registration dimension. It can be concluded that TikTok users feel or respond to elements related to stimuli (for example, external stimuli or influences) more strongly. This indicates that external or more visible factors, such as content or visual influences, play a greater role in influencing respondents. TikTok memungkinkan pengguna untuk membagikan momen kehidupan, termasuk dinamika hubungan persahabatan, asmara, dan hubungan keluarga melalui video atau foto yang cepat tersebar luas melalui For You Page (FYP). Salah satu fenomena yang muncul dari pengguna tiktok adalah standarisasi hubungan asmara, di mana tren tertentu di platform tersebut secara tidak langsung membentuk ekspektasi dalam hubungan romantis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis persepsi remaja mengenai standarisasi berpacaran yang ada di TikTok. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengolahan data statistik deskriptif untuk melihat persepsi audiens terhadap standarisasi berpacaran yang ada di TikTok. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling sebanyak 100 responden yang dihitung menggunakan rumus Lemeshow. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata tertinggi terdapat pada dimensi stimulus dan nilai rata-rata terendah terdapat pada dimensi registrasi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengguna TikTok merasakan atau merespons elemen-elemen yang berkaitan dengan stimulus (misalnya, rangsangan atau pengaruh luar) lebih kuat. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa faktor eksternal atau yang lebih terlihat, seperti konten atau pengaruh visual, lebih berperan dalam memengaruhi responden.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has triggered drastic changes in the education system, including in skill-based vocational education such as culinary and pastry programs. The sudden shift to online learning, followed by the implementation of a hybrid model that combines online and offline methods, has created diverse learning experiences for students. This study explores the experiences of Culinary and Pastry students at the Tristar Institute regarding hybrid learning in the post-pandemic period. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with selected students. The findings reveal that online learning was perceived as less suitable for practice-based courses, mainly due to limitations in live demonstrations, nonverbal interaction, and active student engagement. However, it was considered flexible and sufficient for delivering theoretical and informational content. The main challenges faced by students included technical issues such as unstable internet connections, lack of motivation, and the absence of a conducive study environment at home. This study concludes that hybrid learning, which combines online delivery for theory with offline sessions for practice, is essential for improving the quality of learning. It is recommended that educational institutions develop more adaptive and student-centered learning strategies and provide adequate technological support and training for both lecturers and students. Pandemi Covid-19 telah mendorong perubahan drastis dalam sistem pendidikan, termasuk pada pendidikan vokasi berbasis keterampilan seperti kuliner dan patiseri. Peralihan mendadak ke pembelajaran daring kemudian diikuti dengan penerapan model hybrid yang memadukan pembelajaran daring dan luring, menimbulkan beragam pengalaman belajar bagi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pengalaman mahasiswa jurusan Kuliner dan Patiseri Tristar Institute terhadap pembelajaran hybrid pascapandemi Covid-19. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan sejumlah mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran daring dinilai kurang optimal untuk mata kuliah berbasis praktik, terutama karena keterbatasan dalam demonstrasi langsung, interaksi nonverbal, dan keterlibatan aktif mahasiswa. Namun, pembelajaran daring dianggap fleksibel serta memadai dalam penyampaian materi teori yang bersifat informatif. Tantangan utama yang dihadapi mahasiswa meliputi kendala teknis, seperti koneksi internet yang tidak stabil, kurangnya motivasi belajar, serta keterbatasan ruang belajar yang kondusif di rumah. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya metode hybrid yang menggabungkan pembelajaran daring untuk teori dan pembelajaran luring untuk praktik guna meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran. Disarankan agar institusi pendidikan mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih adaptif, responsif terhadap kebutuhan mahasiswa, dan menyediakan dukungan teknologi serta pelatihan yang memadai bagi dosen dan mahasiswa.
