Abstract

This research aims to investigate how profitability, capital structure, and firm size affect firm value. It also seeks to ascertain whether dividend policy can moderate the influence of profitability, capital structure, and firm size on firm value. The observational data in this study amounts to 340, obtained from 68 companies in the consumer non-cyclical sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2018-2022 period. The data were sourced from the companies' financial statements published on the website https://www.idx.co.id.  This study employs the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) model. The results indicate that profitability and capital structure have a positive but not significant impact, while firm size has a significantly negative impact on firm value. The interaction of profitability, capital structure, and firm size with dividend policy is significantly positive, meaning that dividend policy strengthens the influence of profitability, capital structure, and firm size on firm value. The implication of these findings is that dividend policy can be used as a reference in formulating company policies to enhance firm value.

Abstract

The application of technology in education will improve teachers’ ability to convey material to students, make it easier for students to understand the material presented, and make time more effective and efficient. Advances in computers are also closely related to the world of education. Most schools also include computers as a compulsory subject. Technology's role in education is growing rapidly, and the need for technology is indispensable in the current era of globalization. By utilizing recent technological developments, the aims of this research are (1) to develop website-based learning media; (2) to analyze the differences in learning outcomes between students who use websites and conventional media. Researchers use a Google Sites application to support the development of web-based learning media. Teaching staff can use Google Sites to carry out various learning activities. The stages of this research method are experimental research with a posttest only control group design. The subjects of this study were students of class IV A and B at SDN 2 Karangsari—intake of research class through random sampling technique. Activities in data analysis include data processing and statistical analysis. The conclusion of this study is that the learning model through website learning media can generally motivate students to improve learning outcomes. Students gave a positive response to the implementation of the website learning model.

Abstract

The low ability of students' critical thinking during the learning process is the driving force behind this research. This is based on observations made by researchers who found that students during learning activities were unable to explain the material being studied straightforwardly, draw conclusions, explain the material being studied, or identify assumptions. This is because students' critical thinking skills are less developed when the learning model is used. It is hoped that this study will be able to find out and get an overview to further develop the reasoning abilities in determining fifth grade elementary school students by applying the TPS (Think Pair Offer) learning model. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method developed by Kemmis and Mc Taggart, which is one used in this study. Classroom action research is research that describes the causes and effects of treatment, as well as describes what happens when the treatment is given. and describes the entire process from the beginning of the treatment to the impact of the treatment. In this study two cycles were used which were carried out in class V of elementary school. One lesson and four stages namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting are each cycle. The instruments used in this review are perception sheets, field notes, test questions, and documentation. This study found that students' critical thinking skills increased by 63% in cycle I, rising to 82% in cycle II, placing it in the very good category. From these results it can be seen that there was an increase of 19% from cycle I to cycle II. This shows that one of the elementary school TPS (Think Pair Share) models can improve the critical thinking skills of fifth grade students.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of organizational culture, university-industry collaboration strategies, and government funding on innovation programs in Indonesian public universities. The research objectives were to identify the key factors that influence innovation outcomes and explore the moderating role of government funding. A quantitative research approach was adopted focusing on 73 public universities in Indonesia. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire distributed to senior administrators and faculty members involved in innovation programs and university-industry collaborations. The key variables measured included organizational culture, university-industry collaboration strategies, innovation programs, and government funding, using a 7-point Likert scale. A multiple linear regression analysis was conducted to test the hypothesized relationships and interaction effects. The findings reveal that organizational culture and university-industry collaboration strategies significantly enhance innovation programs, with government funding amplifying these effects. A larger university size was found to negatively impact innovation outcomes, while overall funding levels had a positive but smaller effect than other variables. The results highlight the importance of fostering supportive organizational cultures, developing robust collaboration strategies, and securing adequate government funding to drive innovation in academic institutions. Future research should explore the additional factors that influence innovation outcomes in various contexts. Recommendations include strengthening university-industry partnerships and advocating for sustained government support to enhance the innovation capacity of universities. Penelitian ini mengkaji dampak budaya organisasi, strategi kolaborasi universitas-industri, dan pendanaan pemerintah terhadap program inovasi di universitas negeri di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor kunci yang mempengaruhi hasil inovasi dan mengeksplorasi peran moderasi pendanaan pemerintah. Pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif diadopsi, dengan fokus pada 73 universitas negeri di Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur yang didistribusikan kepada administrator senior dan anggota fakultas yang terlibat dalam program inovasi dan kolaborasi universitas-industri. Variabel kunci yang diukur termasuk budaya organisasi, strategi kolaborasi universitas-industri, program inovasi, dan pendanaan pemerintah, menggunakan skala Likert 7 poin. Analisis regresi linier berganda dilakukan untuk menguji hubungan dan efek interaksi yang dihipotesiskan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi dan strategi kolaborasi universitas-industri secara signifikan meningkatkan program inovasi, dengan pendanaan pemerintah memperkuat efek ini. Ukuran universitas yang lebih besar ditemukan berdampak negatif terhadap hasil inovasi, sementara tingkat pendanaan secara keseluruhan memiliki efek positif tetapi lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan variabel lainnya. Hasil ini menyoroti pentingnya membina budaya organisasi yang mendukung, mengembangkan strategi kolaborasi yang kuat, dan mendapatkan pendanaan pemerintah yang memadai untuk mendorong inovasi di institusi akademik. Penelitian lebih lanjut harus mempertimbangkan untuk mengeksplorasi faktor tambahan yang mempengaruhi hasil inovasi dalam konteks yang berbeda. Rekomendasi termasuk memperkuat kemitraan universitas-industri dan mengadvokasi dukungan pemerintah yang berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas inovasi universitas.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of perceptions of the teaching profession on interest in becoming a teacher. The population of this study were Economics Education students at the Faculty of Education, Panca Sakti University Bekasi who were active in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. This sampling technique uses purposive random sampling so that a total sample of 60 people is obtained. Data collection methods include questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis. This means that the perception of the teaching profession affects the interest in teaching economics education students at Panca Sakti University Bekasi.

Abstract

Pendidikan Indonesia abad ke-21, dihadapkan dengan sejumlah tantangan yang menuntut berubahnya paradigma pembelajaran. Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang sangat pesat juga berdampak signifikan terhadap dunia pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pembelajaran IPS secara blended learning dalam pengembangan pembelajaran dan mengetahui keterampilan yang seharusnya diperoleh peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode library research yang membahas pembelajaran IPS yang dilakukan secara blended learning sebagai alternatif pembelajaran unuk menjawab tantangan di abad 21. Kesimpulannya Permasalahan abad 21 adalah perubahan yang sangat cepat yang harus diimbangi dengan kemampuan untuk beradapdasi yang cepat pula. Sehingga peserta didik sebagai generasi penerus bangsa yang akan menjadi leader masa depan harus mampu bersaing diantara cepatnya perkembangan zaman serba digital. Pembelajaran IPS berbasis blended learning merupakan salah satu inovasi dan solusi yang hadir disesuaikan dengan perkembangan zaman. Hal ini menjawab tujuan pembelajaran IPS yaitu peserta didik dapat memecahkan masalah dan mengambil keputusan yang terjadi dalam kehidupannya.

Abstract

Background: Environmental concerns are increasingly influencing consumer decision-making, and green consumer behaviour has garnered attention in marketing and sustainability. Businesses, governments and researchers must understand green consumer behaviour in order to understand sustainable consumption motives, attitudes, and decisions. Objective: The objectives of this review are to analyse and synthesise how researchers characterise and define green consumer behaviour, examine and evaluate the various research methods used to investigate it, and identify and discuss emerging trends and patterns in green consumer behaviour research. Methods: This review followed the PRISMA standards for systematic literature reviews. A thorough screening procedure was used to select 64 papers from 1633. The EBSCOhost Business Source Ultimate, Science Direct, and Emerald were used. Only English-language research papers published between 2005 and 2023 were included. Articles were found using the "green behaviour,” “consumer behaviour,” “sustainability," and "environmentalism keywords”. Results: Green consumer behaviour was interpreted differently using theories such as the theory of planned behaviour, value-belief-norm theory, social cognitive theory, and environmental identity theory. Modern research in this field examines social media, individual values and motivations, environmental knowledge and awareness, and interventions and marketing strategies for eco-friendly consumption Conclusion: This research illuminates significant findings and current trends in the green consumer behaviour debate. It emphasises the need for precise definitions, rigorous research methods, and further studies on green consumer behaviour dynamics. Businesses, governments, and marketers that promote sustainable consumption can learn from the results. Abstract

Nilai nasionalisme dapat digambarkan pada sosok pahlawan. Adapun pahlawan yang mampu diteladani dan mempunyai nilai nasionalisme satu diantaranya ialah K.H. Idham Chalid. Artikel ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan nilai nasionalisme yang muncul dari sosok Dr. K.H. Idham Chalid. Hal ini dimaksudkan agar pembaca dapat meneladani keberadaan toko pahlawan. Strategi dalam pencarian literatur yang digunakan oleh peneliti ialah, peneliti melakukan pencarian, menyeleksi, dan memilih informasi mana yang diperlukan dari sekian banyaknya informasi yang sudah terbit terlebih dahulu. Adapun hasil dari literatur review yang dilakukan penulis K.H. Idham Chalid merupakan seorang ulama sekaligus politisi di masa orde lama dan baru. Beliau sosok pahlawan nasional yang terlahir dari Kalimantan Selatan tepatnya di Setui. Nilai nasionalisme yang dimiliki K.H. Idham Chalid yaitu religius, rela berkorban, cinta tanah air, dan bangga sebagai bangsa Indonesia. Terkait dengan keteladanan nilai nasionalisme dari ketokohan K.H. Idham Chalid tentunya ideal untuk diintegrasikan dalam pendidikan global. Namun, pendidikan global yang demikian mengarah pada penguatan pendidikan nilai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur dan menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan teknologi terhadap perkembangan kognitif dan karakter anak di sekolah dasar. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan survei, penelitian ini melibatkan 10 sekolah dasar di daerah Kuningan, yaitu Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Awirarangan, Sekolah Dasar Negeri 2 Awirarangan, Sekolah Dasar Negeri 2 Winduhaji, Sekolah Dasar Negeri 3 Winduhaji, Sekolah Dasar Negeri 17 Kuningan, Sekolah Dasar Negeri 4 Windusengkahan, Sekolah Dasar Negeri 3 Windusengkahan, Sekolah Dasar 1 Ciloa, Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Bayuning, dan Sekolah Dasar Negeri 2 Kuningan. Subjek penelitian yaitu anak-anak dan tenaga pendidik, yang memberikan data melalui kuesioner dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial untuk mengidentifikasi pola, hubungan, dan perbedaan signifikan pada variabel yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan kognitif dan karakter anak dengan cara yang berbeda, baik positif maupun negatif. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan baru mengenai cara efektif dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk mendukung pendidikan anak sekolah dasar, serta pentingnya pendekatan yang seimbang antara teknologi dan interaksi langsung dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of organizational creativity strategies in improving positional advantage in Vocational High Schools (SMK) Centers of Excellence in West Java, by considering the influence of Organizational Creativity and Partnership Program. This study uses a quantitative approach with a data collection tool in the form of a questionnaire distributed to 165 schools from a total of 288 SMK Centers of Excellence in West Java. Sampling was carried out using a stratified random sampling technique. Data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method, using a Likert measurement scale to assess the variables in the study. The results showed that Organizational Creativity and Partnership Program had a significant influence on positional advantage, with Partnership Program having a greater impact. The main finding of this study is the importance of strengthening organizational creativity in dealing with the dynamics of the external and internal environments of schools. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of two factors Organizational Creativity and Partnership Program—in developing positional advantage in SMK, which has not been widely discussed in previous literature.
