Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors affecting the income of oil palm farmers and formulate strategies to improve it in Muara Tembesi District, Batang Hari Regency. The variables examined include land area, capital, labor, and market price. The research applies a field research method with a descriptive quantitative approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 98 oil palm farmers selected using a random sampling technique. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 27, while a SWOT analysis was used to formulate income improvement strategies. The results indicate that both simultaneously and partially, land area, capital, labor, and market price significantly influence farmers’ income. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.935 shows that 93.5% of the variation in income can be explained by these four variables, while 6.5% is explained by other factors outside the model. The SWOT analysis positions oil palm farming in Quadrant I (aggressive growth strategy), with key strategies including strengthening farmer institutions, improving access to capital, adopting modern cultivation technologies, and encouraging price stabilization policies for fresh fruit bunches (FFB).

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the economic and social impacts of oil palm plantations in forest areas on community welfare in Batanghari Regency during the period 2020–2025. A quantitative approach was used to measure objective indicators such as income and access to facilities, as well as community perceptions regarding economic benefits. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews from approximately 100 households using a stratified random sampling technique. The results indicate that land area, community participation, land legality, and market access have a positive influence on welfare, while environmental factors and management sustainability are important concerns. This study recommends policies that balance economic benefits and environmental preservation for sustainable development.

Abstract

Local economic development in rural areas is significantly influenced by the performance of the agricultural sector, particularly the rice subsector. Various studies have shown that land productivity, the application of agricultural technology, and government policy support are key factors in driving agriculture-based local economic growth. This article aims to analyze the influence of these three factors on local economic development through a literature review and policy analysis approach. The methods used were a literature review of national and international journal articles published between 2018 and 2025 and a review of national and regional agricultural policy documents. The study results indicate that increasing land productivity directly contributes to increased farmer income and local economic activity. The application of agricultural technology has been shown to increase production efficiency and yield stability, while government policy acts as a facilitator in accelerating technology adoption and maintaining the sustainability of farming businesses. However, the weak integration between productivity, technology, and policy has resulted in the rice sector's contribution to the local economy being suboptimal. This article emphasizes the importance of synergy between agricultural policies and innovation as a foundation for sustainable local economic development.

Abstract

Implementasi informed consent pada tindakan medis intubasi di Ruang IGD Rumah Sakit Ukrida Jakarta telah diatur dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 29 Tahun 2004 tentang Praktik Kedokteran. Intubasi sebagai tindakan invasif berisiko tinggi memerlukan pemahaman menyeluruh pasien/keluarga sebelum tanda tangan persetujuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dasar hukum penerapan informed consent serta mengevaluasi penerapan persetujuan sukarela dalam tindakan intubasi. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan sosio-legal dengan data primer dari observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan dokter, perawat, dan keluarga pasien, serta penyebaran kuesioner terhadap 14 responden. Data sekunder diperoleh dari analisis dokumen rumah sakit termasuk formulir informed consent dan SOP intubasi, serta regulasi terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan informed consent telah dilaksanakan sesuai regulasi, mencakup penjelasan diagnosis, risiko, komplikasi, dan alternatif tindakan. Persetujuan diberikan secara tertulis setelah penjelasan komprehensif dan melalui double verification oleh tenaga medis. Meskipun demikian, temuan mengungkapkan bahwa 3 dari 14 responden (21,4%) merasa waktu pengambilan keputusan terbatas, dan satu kasus menunjukkan ketidaksadaran keluarga atas hak menolak. Secara keseluruhan, persetujuan diberikan secara sukarela tanpa paksaan, sesuai Pasal 1320 KUHPerdata. Tantangan utama adalah kurang optimalnya komunikasi akibat tekanan situasi gawat darurat. Oleh karena itu, rumah sakit perlu meningkatkan efektivitas komunikasi dan sosialisasi hak pasien untuk memastikan pemahaman yang optimal.

Abstract

Praktik poligami yang tidak tercatat secara resmi menimbulkan persoalan hukum serius, terutama terkait status keperdataan anak. Pengajuan permohonan itsbat nikah kerap dijadikan sarana untuk memperoleh pengakuan negara, namun tidak selalu dapat diterima. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan yuridis normatif melalui pendekatan perundang-undangan dan pendekatan putusan untuk membahas dan menganalisis pertimbangan hakim dalam Putusan Nomor 638/Pdt.G/2020/PA.Gsg, serta dampak terhadap status hukum anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permohonan dinyatakan tidak dapat diterima karena tidak memenuhi syarat formil, dan hakim berpedoman kepada SEMA Nomor 3 Tahun 2018 yang menyatakan permohonan itsbat nikah poligami sirri tidak dapat diterima. Keputusan tersebut berdampak pada status hukum anak yang lahir dari pernikahan tersebut karena ketiadaan legalitas formal atas hubungan perkawinan orang tuanya. Meski demikian, perlindungan terhadap anak tetap dimungkinkan melalui Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi Nomor 46/PUU-VIII/2010 yang menjamin hubungan perdata antara anak dan ayah biologis. Selain itu, Undang-Undang Nomor 24 Tahun 2013 memberikan dasar administratif untuk pencatatan identitas anak melalui mekanisme pengakuan ayah. Dengan demikian, status hukum anak tetap dapat dilindungi melalui sinergi ketentuan konstitusional dan administratif.

Abstract

Traffic has a vital role towards the mobility of the people, as well as the distribution of goods, so it is regulated in Law number 22 of the year 2009. One of the serious violations that often happened is the usage of fake vehicle registration plate (TNKB), that will disrupt the vehicle identification system. Polri responded by implementing the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) system as the innovation of digital law enforcement. However, the ETLE system still have weaknesses in identifying fake vehicle registration plate. This research will review the effectivity of ETLE in MT.Haryono road of South Jakarta, as well as analyzing the factors that causes the weak enforcement against such violations in order to contribute to the improvement of the traffic law enforcement system in Indonesia. The research method that will be used in this research is the Empirical Legal method by gathering the primary data from interviews towards the ETLE operators. The secondary data will be gathered from scientific articles as well as previous research journals that examine about law rules that is relating to ETLE. The research result will explain about the working mechanism of the ETLE system on how it enforces the law towards traffic violator from the process of recording the violation until the payment of the fine. The online traffic fine ticketing, on its base is just the same as manual ticketing, it's just that online ticketing is implemented so that the law enforcer can work transparently and can have accountability in the process of law enforcing, However there is a weakness of the online ticketing in the law enforcing process. One of them is that ETLE could not detect the usage of fake vehicle registration plate that is caused by network issue as well as unsynchronized data and the technology limitation to detect fake vehicle registration plate (TNKB) because there is no regulation towards the material nor the font of its making.

Abstract

Nyeri merupakan kondisi fisiologis yang pasti dialami ibu selama proses persalinan. Intensitas nyeri sangat bervariasi dan dipengaruhi oleh kesiapan fisik maupun psikologis ibu. Upaya nonfarmakologis menjadi pilihan yang lebih aman, murah, dan efektif untuk menurunkan nyeri persalinan, termasuk teknik slow deep breathing. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Desa Tondomulyo dengan tujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang cara mengurangi nyeri punggung menjelang persalinan melalui teknik slow deep breathing. Metode kegiatan meliputi edukasi, ceramah, diskusi, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung. Program dilaksanakan dalam empat tahap melalui kelas ibu hamil yang melibatkan bidan desa, kader, dan keluarga. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan pengetahuan serta keterampilan ibu hamil dalam melakukan teknik slow deep breathing. Berdasarkan analisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon, terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara skor nyeri sebelum dan sesudah intervensi (p < 0,05), menunjukkan bahwa teknik slow deep breathing efektif menurunkan nyeri punggung. Program ini direkomendasikan untuk dilanjutkan melalui optimalisasi kelas ibu hamil sebagai upaya persiapan persalinan nyaman dan aman.

Abstract

Terrorism is one of the crimes that greatly disturbs the security of the life of the nation and state. Terrorism is not only a problem for the Indonesian people, but has become an international problem. The eradication of criminal acts of terrorism in Indonesia is carried out based on Law Number 5 of 2018 in conjunction with Law Number 15 of 2003. The problem that becomes the object of research is the concept of terrorism and the implementation of criminalization principles in the law on eradicating criminal acts of terrorism. The type of research used is normative legal research with a statute approach, conceptual approach, historical approach, and comparative approach. The results of research in the law on eradicating criminal acts of terrorism have limited the definition of terrorism by including ideological, political and security disturbance motives, in contrast to other countries which on average do not include motives in the definition of terrorism. The principles of criminalization in the preparation of the law on the eradication of criminal acts of terrorism have not been fully fulfilled, namely about avoiding the formulation of vague and general articles.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Keikutsertaan BPJS Kesehatan pada pedagang merupakan bagian dari perwujudan pemerintah untuk mencapai Universal Health Coverage atau Cakupan Kesehatan Universal di Indonesia yang berdasarkan Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Nasional (RPJMN) 2020–2024 dimana menargetkan jumlah UHC sebanyak 98 % ditahun 2024. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang berhubungan dengan keikutsertaan BPJS Kesehatan pada pedagang di Pasar Sentral Kota Makassar Tahun 2023. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Jumlah populasi sebanyak 894 pedagang dengan sampel sebanyak 87 pedagang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan Teknik accidental sampling di Wilayah Pasar Sentral Kota Makassar. Anlasisis data yang dilakukan degan uji chi-square. Hasil: Secara umum, dari hasil penelitian yang didapatkan Sebagian besar pedagang telah terdaftar sebagai peserta BPJS Kesehatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel yang berhubungan dengan keikutsertaan BPJS Kesehatan pada pedagang di Pasar Sentral ialah variabel Sikap (p=0,001), Pengetahuan (p=0,015), Dukungan Keluarga (p=0,001) dan Persepsi (p=0,001), sedangkan variabel yang tidak berhubungan dengan keikutsertaan BPJS Kesehatan pada pedagang di Pasar Sentral ialah variabel Pendidikan (p=0,624) dan Pendapatan (p=0,624). Artinya, jika variabel berhubungan, maka minat keikutsertaan BPJS Kesehatan akan meningkat juga. Kesimpulan: Terdapat variabel yang berhubungan dengan keikutsertaan BPJS Kesehatan pada pedagang di Pasar Sentral Kota Makassar ialah variabel sikap, pengetahuan, dukungan keluarga dan persepsi, sedangkan variabel yang tidak berhubungan dengan keikutsertaan BPJS Kesehatan pada pedagang di Pasar Sentral Kota Makassar ialah variabel pendidikan dan pendapatan.

Abstract

Background: Helminthiasis is a health problem in Indonesia that affects many elementary school children. The effects of worms in children can be malnutrition, anemia and decreased academic achievement. The government has carried out control of worm diseases by providing deworming drugs every 6 months. However, the effectiveness of this program has not been widely studied, the incidence of worms in each region is not widely known, including the risk factors that influence it. Objective: This study aims to determine the correlation between knowledge, learning achievement and personal hygiene with the incidence of helminthiasis in students at Selokaton Karanganyar Elementary School II. Method: The method used is a cross-sectional study, with total sampling. Students were asked to fill out a knowledge and personal hygiene questionnaire, then collect feces. Learning achievement were obtained from final mark of the semester. Feces examination using direct smear and 2% eosin staining. Analysis used binary logistic regression test and Mann-Whitney U test. Result: The results of this study were that students who were positive for helminthiasis were 16%, hookworm infections were the highest burden (10/16), followed by ascariasis an enterobiasis. There was no significant correlation between knowledge, learning achievement and personal hygiene with the incidence of helminthiasis (p>0.05). Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that there is no significant correlation between knowledge, learning achievement and personal hygiene with the incidence of the incidence of helminthiasis (p>0.05).
