Abstract

This research aims to prove the benefits of zikir that contribute positively to the strengthening of the character of the nation. The approach used in this research was qualitative, and data collection used interview, observation, and documentation techniques, with 6 informants involved in it. Data validity assurance technique was conducted by extending the time of data collection, persistence of observation, data triangulation, and conducting negative case analysis. The results of this study were: (1) The concept of social thoughts in building social movements and to be implemented in the civilization based on three things, namely: social of right society (الصفحة في المتواحدة االمة), social of law society (القانونية في المتواحدة االمة) and social gathering of philosophy (الفالسفية في المتواحدة االمة); (2) Forms of activities developed in their social movements through theological thinking based on social movements, including recitation, Tahlilan, Zikir Akbar and Haul Majelis Zikir; (3) The inhibiting and supporting factors of the theological thought movement and the social movement of thought in building the social movement, which are the clear management and the congregation that are Istiqomah in participating in the activities

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the positive and significant influence of the Mind Mapping Method on the learning motivation of class XI Christian religious education students at SMK Negeri 1 Siatas Barita. Tony Buzan's theory suggests that the Mind Mapping Method is a learning method that uses a note-taking strategy using keywords, image symbols, sounds, shapes and feelings. The method used in this research is a quantitative research method and the type of research is pre-experimental design in the form of "One Shot Case Study". The population was all class Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 30 items, namely 15 items for variable Siatas Barita: 1) Test analysis requirements: a) positive relationship test obtained rxy = 0.591 > rtable(=0.05,n=34) = 0.339. b) Testing a significant relationship obtained a value of tcount= 4.140 > ttable(=0.05,dk=n-2=32)= 2.042. 2) Influence test: a) Regression equation test, obtained regression equation. b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 34.9%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable=(=0.05, dk numerator k=15, dk denominator=n-2=34-2=32) namely 17.14 > 2.01. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the influence of the collaborative learning model on the learning outcomes of PAK class VIII students at SMP Negeri 4 Siborongborong for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive and significant influence between the collaborative learning learning model on the PAK learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 4 Siborongborong for the 2023/2024 academic year. Descriptive quantitative research method. The population of all class VIII students at SMP Negeri 4 Siborongborong for the 2023/2024 academic year who are Protestant Christians is 166 people. The sample was taken using purposive sampling, namely 36 students in class VIII-B. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire. The results of the analysis requirements obtained a value of rxy=0.569>rtabel=0.329 and tcount=2.728>ttable=2.042 showing that there is a relationship between the collaborative learning learning model and the PAK learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 4 Siborongborong for the 2023/2024 academic year. From the regression test, the regression equation is obtained. The determination test revealed that the magnitude of the effect was 32.38%. Hypothesis testing obtained Fcount=15.599>Ftable=2.01, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, namely that there is a positive and significant influence between the collaborative learning learning model on the PAK learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 4 Siborongborong for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the positive and significant difference between active learning in Christian Religious Education in students who are taught without the use of Audio Visual Media and active learning in Christian Religious Education in students who are taught using Audio Visual Media in Class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Sitio- tio Samosir Regency 2023/2024 learning year. The method used in this research is a quasi-experimental method with a pre-test and post-test only control group design. The population is all class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sitio-tio Samosir Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 100 people and the research sample was determined using purposive sampling, namely class VII-B students totaling 32 people. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 20 items. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive and significant difference in the learning activity of Christian Religious Education in students who are taught without using Audio Visual Media and the Active Learning in Christian Religious Education in students who are taught using Audio Visual Media in Class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Sitio-tio Regency. Samosir 2023/2024 academic year: 1) Data analysis test: a) significant and influence test obtained -tcount= -29.41< -ttabe(=0.05/2=0.025,dk=n-1=3l) = -2.039. The tcount value is in the curve area of ​​rejection of H0 and acceptance of Ha.

Abstract

Indonesia kaya akan keaneka ragaman suku bangsa, golongan, dan lapisan sosial di dalam kehidupannya. Termasuk dari segi keragaman budaya yang sangat beragam di Indonesia. Keragaman budaya di Indonesia dituangkan dalam bentuk kain dan tenunan tradisional, diantaranya adalah kain ulos dari Sumatera Utara. Sumatera utara adalah salah satu daerah yang memiliki keanekaragaman hasil budaya seperti daerah-daerah lainnya di Indonesia, yang diantaranya hasil budaya suku Batak Toba sebagai salah satu suku asli di Sumatera Utara berupa Kain Tenun Ulos Batak Toba. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pengembangan potensi corak ulos batak di Desa Hapoltahan Kec. Tarutung Kab. Tapanuli Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan melakukan studi pustaka dan studi lapangan. Adapun studi pustaka yang dilakukan untuk menganalisis penerapan ragam hias kain Ulos Batak, sementara untuk studi lapangan terhadap ragam hias kain ulos batak. Penulis menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologis dalam pengamatan secara inderawi. Maksudnya penulis langsung studi lapangan ke tempat pembuatan ulos dan merasakannya secara inderawi terutama dari segi material serat kain yang digunakan. Hasil yang didapat yaitu para masyarakat memperoleh pengetahuan yang bermanfaat dalam pengembangan corak ulos batak untuk digunakan dalam menenun. Kegiatan pengembangan potensi corak ulos batak di Desa Hapoltahan Kec. Tarutung Kab. Tapanuli Utara sangat bermanfaat bagi para masyarakat di Desa Hapoltahan Kec. Tarutung Kab. Tapanuli Utara. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan harus dalam bentuk pelatihan karena langsung berpengaruh kepada kualitas sumber daya manusia Indonesia.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan masalah kesehatan serius di Indonesia, terutama di daerah seperti Lintong Nihuta. Kondisi ini terjadi akibat asupan gizi yang tidak memadai dalam jangka waktu lama, mempengaruhi perkembangan fisik, kognitif, dan kesejahteraan emosional anak. Anak-anak stunting cenderung memiliki kemampuan belajar rendah, sistem kekebalan tubuh lemah, dan rentan penyakit kronis di kemudian hari. Dalam jangka panjang, stunting menghambat produktivitas individu dan pembangunan sosial-ekonomi suatu daerah. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, diperlukan pendekatan holistik yang mengintegrasikan aspek budaya dan agama dalam pencegahan stunting. Pendekatan ini sangat relevan di Lintong Nihuta, Humbang Hasundutan, Sumatera Utara, yang kaya akan tradisi budaya dan nilai-nilai agama. Melibatkan pemimpin agama dan budaya membuat pesan kesehatan lebih efektif diterima oleh masyarakat. Program pengabdian masyarakat "Sehat Tubuh dan Rohani: Upaya Menekan Angka Stunting melalui Pendekatan Budaya dan Agama di Lintong Nihuta" dilaksanakan dengan pembicara utama seperti Dr. Zulhaida Lubis, M.Kes., dan fasilitator Dr. Sandy Ariawan, S.M.G., S.Pd.K., M.A., M.Pd.K., Dr. Maringan Sinambela, M.Th., Dr. Dame Taruli, M.Pd.K., dan Maryska Debora Silalahi, M.Pd. Program ini meliputi tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Persiapan melibatkan identifikasi pembicara dan koordinasi dengan otoritas lokal. Pelaksanaan meliputi edukasi kesehatan tentang nutrisi seimbang dan pengasuhan baik, serta diskusi yang menghubungkan konsep kesehatan dengan nilai agama dan budaya lokal. Evaluasi mengukur dampak program melalui kuesioner dan wawancara, menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai nutrisi seimbang dan pengasuhan yang baik. Lebih dari 85% peserta menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman tentang dampak stunting. Program ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan holistik yang menggabungkan budaya dan agama efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan perilaku masyarakat terkait pencegahan stunting. Partisipasi aktif masyarakat dan pengembangan kapasitas pemimpin agama dan budaya sangat penting untuk keberhasilan program. Strategi ini memerlukan komitmen dan kolaborasi antara pemangku kepentingan untuk mencapai dampak positif jangka panjang pada kesehatan masyarakat dan mengurangi angka stunting di Lintong Nihuta.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of PAK teachers' social competence on the morality of class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Laguboti for the 2024/2025 academic year. The method used in this research uses quantitative, descriptive and inferential research methods. The population, namely all Protestant Christian students in class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Laguboti for the 2024/2025 academic year, totaled 199 people and a sample of 50 people was determined, namely 25% of the population using a simple random sampling technique. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 40 items. The results of data analysis show that there is an influence of the social competence of PAK teachers on the morality of class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Laguboti for the 2024/2025 academic year: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) positive relationship test obtained by the value rxy = 0,433 > rtabel(=0,05,n=50) = 0,297 thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable X and variable Y. b) Testing a significant relationship obtained a value of thitung= 3,333 > ttabel(=0,05,dk=n-2=48)= 2,021 thus there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. 2) Test the effect: a) Test the regression equation, obtained the regression equation =46,75+0,26X. b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 18,8%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fhitung > Ftabel=(=0,05), dk numerator k=20,dk denominator=n-2=50-2=48) namely 11,08 > 1,51. Thus, Ha, that is, there is an influence of the social competence of PAK teachers on the morality of class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Laguboti for the 2024/2025 academic year is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

Social violence, intergenerational intolerance, and a values crisis among young people represent concrete challenges facing Christian communities in North Tapanuli. Mainstream churches, predominantly composed of Batak denominations such as HKBP, have largely continued to apply unidirectional, transmissive, and ritually oriented church education models, thereby failing to optimally empower children as active subjects and agents of peace. This study aims to examine the relevance of Paulo Freire's liberating pedagogy for the revitalization of church education in the context of forming Gen Z children as agents of peace. Employing critical literature review and conceptual analysis, this study examines Freire's pedagogical framework, encompassing conscientização, dialogical pedagogy, and the critique of banking education, along with its limitations and implications for child theology and ecclesiology. The findings indicate that integrating liberating pedagogy into church education, grounded in the theology of imago Dei and the example of Christ, holds significant potential to foster peaceful character and critical consciousness among Gen Z children. This revitalization requires a shift from doctrinal transmission to a dialogical, transformative learning community.   Abstrak Kekerasan sosial, intoleransi antargenerasi, dan krisis nilai di kalangan generasi muda merupakan tantangan nyata bagi komunitas Kristen di Tapanuli Utara. Gereja arus utama yang didominasi oleh denominasi seperti HKBP masih cenderung menerapkan model pendidikan gerejawi yang bersifat satu arah, transmisif, dan ritualistik, sehingga belum optimal memberdayakan anak sebagai subjek aktif dan agen perdamaian. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji relevansi pedagogi pembebasan Paulo Freire bagi revitalisasi pendidikan gerejawi dalam konteks pembentukan anak Gen Z sebagai agen perdamaian. Dengan menggunakan metode studi literatur kritis dan analisis konseptual, penelitian ini menelaah ke-rangka pedagogis Freire, mencakup conscientização, pedagogi dialogis, dan kritik atas banking education, beserta keterbatasannya dan implikasinya bagi teologi anak serta eklesiologi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa integrasi pedagogi pembebasan dalam pendidikan gerejawi yang dijangkarkan pada teologi imago Dei dan teladan Kristus berpotensi signifikan membentuk karakter damai dan kesadaran kritis pada anak Gen Z. Revitalisasi ini mensyaratkan transformasi dari model transmisi doktrinal menuju komunitas belajar yang dialogis dan transformatif.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the positive influence of the brainstorming method on students' active learning in Christian Religious Education subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Saipar Dolok Hole for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive influence between the brainstorming method on students' active learning in Christian Religious Education subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Saipar Dolok Hole for the 2023/2024 academic year. The population of all students at SMP Negeri 1 Saipar Dolok Hole for the 2023/2024 academic year who are Protestant Christians is 46 people. This research is population research. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire. The results of data analysis obtained: The value rcount=0.535>rtable=0.291 shows that there is a positive relationship between the brainstorming method and students' active learning in Christian Religious Education subjects. Regression equation. Hypothesis test Fcount=17.68>Ftable=3.23 then H0 (null hypothesis) is rejected and Ha (alternative hypothesis) is accepted. The research concluded that there was a positive and significant influence between the brainstorming method on students' active learning in Christian Religious Education subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Saipar Dolok Hole for the 2023/2024 academic year.
