Abstract

Creative economy plays a vital role in making innovative contributions to the economy amid digital transformation and globalization. The main objective of this research is to identify the relationship between the creative economy, innovation, and branding. This study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques through interviews and document analysis, while also integrating case studies to gain diverse perspectives on the relationship among these three elements. The research findings indicate that branding within the creative economy is a crucial component in building a strong brand identity and driving innovation. Innovation in the branding process enables brands to compete uniquely, attract customers, and retain loyal clientele. The research results also illustrate the distinctions between conventional branding and branding within the context of the creative economy. Conventional branding primarily focuses on the functional benefits of products or services, whereas branding in the creative economy emphasizes the emotional connection between the brand and consumers, as well as the cultural messages or lifestyle conveyed by the brand. In conclusion, this study underscores the crucial role of branding and innovation in the success of the creative economy. Within the context of the creative economy, branding is not merely a tool for brand differentiation but also an expression of the brand's deep-seated vision, values, and uniqueness.

Abstract

This study aimed to explain project-based learning (PjBL) in the context of making airside and landside learning videos for aviation cadets and measure the effectiveness of the learning videos in improving their understanding of basic airport civil engineering material. This study used ADDIE development method to develop learning videos integrated in a project-based learning process with a quantitative approach. There were 48 cadets included in this study selected using a purposive sampling technique. A total of 24 cadets joined the control class taught using conventional learning method and a total of 24 cadets participated in the experimental class taught using PjBL by developing learning videos. Data were collected using needs analysis questionnaire, rating scale for understanding basic airport civil engineering material, and validation sheet. The obtained data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and t-test to address the research questions. Results showed that the cadets were able to develop valid learning videos through ADDIE procedure and they could increase their understanding on basic airport civil engineering significantly (F = 3.533; t = .969; p = .000).

Abstract

The problem of unbalanced load is something that is difficult to avoid in low voltage distribution networks even though the three-phase installation network is attempted with a balanced load distribution.... Unbalanced loads still occur because of the life and death of electrical appliances that alternate according to needs and things that are detrimental because in unbalanced loads flow neutral currents that cause power losses. In this study the authors examined two distribution transformers of 500 kVA each that supply the distribution network and low voltage installations in the cargo terminal building of Juanda Airport Surabaya. Ketentuyan on IEEE 446-1995 unbalanced load allowed is less than 20%, and after measurements, calculations and analysis on transformer number 01 cargo terminal with loading 27.73% - 28% there is no load development is still below 20% with efficiency 91, 06% - 96.5%, but on transformer number 02 with loading 10.58 5% - 12.14% there is an unbalanced load of 20% - 25.66% with efficiency 85.09% - 94.57%. Abstract

Abstract

This study explores the role of community participation in local budget making, aiming to develop a model for participatory budgeting that enhances transparency, accountability, and public engagement in fiscal decision-making. Through a mixed-methods approach, the research analyzes the extent and impact of community involvement in local budget processes across various municipalities. The study draws on quantitative data from budgetary records and qualitative insights from interviews with local officials and community members. Findings indicate that increased community participation leads to more equitable and effective budget allocations, aligning public spending with community needs and priorities. The study also identifies barriers to participation, including limited public awareness and institutional resistance. Based on these findings, the study proposes a participatory budgeting model that incorporates structured community input mechanisms, capacity-building initiatives, and policy recommendations to foster greater civic engagement in local budgeting. This model aims to bridge the gap between local governments and their constituents, promoting a more democratic and responsive budgeting process.
