Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the influence of leadership style, work motivation, and the work environment on employee performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable at the Regional Secretariat of West Sumatra Province. This study was qualitative. The population consisted of 66 employees at the Regional Secretariat of West Sumatra Province. The sample selection method used total sampling, resulting in a sample size of 66. Data analysis used structural equation modeling (SEM) with the help of the smartPLS 3 application. The results of this study found that leadership style has no significant effect on job satisfaction. Motivation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. The work environment has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Leadership style has no significant effect on employee performance. Motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction does not mediate the effect of leadership style on employee performance. Job satisfaction mediates the effect of motivation on employee performance. Job satisfaction mediates the effect of the work environment on employee performance at the Regional Secretariat of West Sumatra Province.Keyword: employee performance, leadership style, work motivation, work environment, job satisfactionAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat sejauh mana pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan, motivasi kerja dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai melalui kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening pada Sekretariat Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini Pegawai yang ada di Sekretariat Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Barat yang berjumlah 66 orang. Metode pemilihan sampel menggunakan sampel total sampling dan mendapatkan sampel sebanyak 66 sampel. Teknik analisis data menggunakan structural equation model (SEM) dengan bantuan aplikasi smartPLS 3. Hal penelitian ini, menemukan gaya kepemimpinan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Gaya kepemimpinan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Kepuasan kerja tidak memediasi pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Kepuasan kerja memediasi pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja pegawai. Abstract

Transformasi digital dan perkembangan kecerdasan buatan mendorong perubahan signifikan dalam pengelolaan sumber daya manusia. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana inovasi strategi sumber daya manusia berbasis teknologi berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan daya saing organisasi. Kajian dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan narrative literature review terhadap enam belas artikel internasional yang relevan. Analisis dilakukan secara tematik dengan memfokuskan pada inovasi teknologi dalam pengelolaan sumber daya manusia, dampaknya terhadap kinerja organisasi, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat implementasinya. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kecerdasan buatan dalam rekrutmen, analitik sumber daya manusia, evaluasi kinerja digital, dan pembelajaran adaptif mampu meningkatkan efisiensi, objektivitas, dan kualitas pengambilan keputusan. Namun, muncul tantangan terkait bias algoritmik, perlindungan data, dan kesiapan organisasi. Oleh karena itu, keberhasilan inovasi sumber daya manusia tidak hanya ditentukan oleh teknologi, tetapi juga oleh kompetensi manusia, dukungan manajemen, dan tata kelola etika yang memadai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh work-life balance dan profesionalisme terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan kualitas pelayanan publik sebagai variabel intervening di Ditlantas Polda Sumatera Barat. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap 82 responden dari total 468 personil menggunakan metode SEM dengan SmartPLS 3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa work-life balance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan publik dan kinerja pegawai. Profesionalisme juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan publik dan kinerja pegawai. Kualitas pelayanan publik terbukti memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Namun, pengaruh work-life balance terhadap kinerja melalui kualitas pelayanan publik tidak signifikan. Sebaliknya, profesionalisme memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja melalui kualitas pelayanan publik sebagai variabel intervening. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa keseimbangan kehidupan kerja dan profesionalisme sama-sama penting untuk meningkatkan kinerja. Namun, profesionalisme memiliki peran mediasi yang lebih kuat melalui kualitas pelayanan publik. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peningkatan profesionalisme dan perhatian terhadap work-life balance dalam upaya memperbaiki pelayanan publik dan kinerja pegawai di Ditlantas Polda Sumatera Barat.

Abstract

This study aims his study aims to analyze the influence of Locus of Control and Professional Competence on teacher performance with Work Atmosphere as an intervening variable in junior high schools in Pauh District, Padang City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 88 respondents, then analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method through the SmartPLS application. The results showed that Locus of Control has a positive and significant effect on Work Atmosphere, and Professional Competence also has a positive and significant effect on Work Atmosphere. Locus of Control does not affect teacher performance, while Professional Competence has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance directly. Work Atmosphere has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. Furthermore, Work Atmosphere is able to significantly mediate the effect of Locus of Control on teacher performance and mediate the effect of Professional Competence on teacher performance. These findings indicate that improving teacher performance is not only directly influenced by professional competence but also highly depends on the level of Work Atmosphere that is formed. Locus of Control and Professional Competence through an effective work atmosphere improve performance. Therefore, schools need to strengthen the quality of the work atmosphere and build a system so that Professional Competence can improve the Work Atmosphere in order to optimize teacher performance

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of leadership style and work discipline on employee performance through work motivation as an intervening variable at PT. Sutan Kasim Padang. Employee performance is an important factor in supporting the achievement of company objectives, especially in the distribution and automotive workshop sector which requires high effectiveness and productivity. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method by distributing questionnaires to all employees of PT. Sutan Kasim Padang. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results indicate that leadership style and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on work motivation. In addition, leadership style, work discipline, and work motivation also have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work motivation is proven to mediate the relationship between leadership style and work discipline on employee performance. This study is expected to provide managerial implications in improving employee performance through effective leadership and work discipline.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Leverage and Capital Expenditure on firm value with Return on assets (ROA) as an Intervening Variable in Consumer Non-Cyclicals Food and Beverage subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020–2024 period. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, resulting in a sample of 28 companies from a population of 98 firms over a five-year observation period. The data analysis methods employed were panel data regression and path analysis, processed using EViews 13 software. The results indicate that leverage has an effect on Return on Assets (ROA), while Capital Expenditure does not affect Return on Assets (ROA). Leverage is proven to have an effect on Firm Value, whereas Capital Expenditure does not affect Firm Value, and Return on Assets (ROA) does not affect Firm Value. Furthermore, the results of the path analysis show that Leverage does not affect Firm Value through Return on Assets (ROA) as an Intervening Variable, and Capital Expenditure also does not affect Firm Value through Return on Assets (ROA) as an Intervening Variable

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Capital Structure and Profitability on Firm Value, with Dividend Policy as an intervening variable in Basic Materials sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020–2024 period. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, resulting in a sample of 23 companies from a population of 109 firms over five years of observation. The data analysis methods employed were panel data regression and path analysis, using EViews 13 software.The results indicate that Capital Structure has an effect on Dividend Policy, while Profitability does not affect Dividend Policy. Furthermore, Capital Structure affects Firm Value, whereas Profitability does not affect Firm Value, and Dividend Policy does not affect Firm Value. In addition, the path analysis results show that Capital Structure does not affect Firm Value through Dividend Policy as an intervening variable, and P Brofitability also does not affect Firm Value through Dividend Policy as an intervening variable.

Abstract

Teknologi 5.0 merupakan fase evolusi terbaru dalam perkembangan teknologi yang mengintegrasikan dunia fisik dan digital serta menekankan keseimbangan antara kemajuan teknologi dan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan. Dalam konteks pendidikan, Era 5.0 menghadirkan perubahan paradigma yang mendalam melalui integrasi kecerdasan buatan, Internet of Things (IoT), dan sistem cerdas lainnya ke dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian systematic literature review ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi tingkat Kesanggupan guru dalam menghadapi transformasi digital, menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi adaptasi teknologi, dan merumuskan strategi pengembangan profesional guru. Metode penelitian menggunakan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif. Penelitian berfokus pada pendidikan, teknologi, dan Kesanggupan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas guru masih berada pada tahap adaptasi awal dengan tingkat kompetensi digital yang beragam. Faktor usia, latar belakang pendidikan, dan aksesibilitas infrastruktur teknologi signifikan memengaruhi Kesanggupan guru. Guru dengan usia lebih muda cenderung lebih responsif terhadap perubahan teknologi dibandingkan guru senior. Empat strategi utama peningkatan kompetensi guru diidentifikasi yaitu  pengembangan model pelatihan blended learning, kolaborasi lintas institusi, pengembangan kurikulum responsif teknologi, dan pemberdayaan melalui komunitas profesional digital. Pendekatan holistik ini bertujuan mengembangkan kemampuan teknis, berpikir kritis, kreativitas, dan adaptabilitas guru. Penelitian menekankan perlunya pendekatan sistemik dan berkelanjutan dalam pengembangan profesional guru, dengan fokus pada pemberdayaan, aksesibilitas teknologi, dan pengembangan kompetensi adaptif di Era 5.0.
