Abstract

The Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) curriculum in the Islamic Economics Study Program has not been implemented optimally. Universities experience many obstacles in implementing the MBKM system, including those related to the conversion of grades and the assignment of grades to the selected subjects, the different curriculum models used, the limitations of teaching lecturers, and the materials to be taught. In this study, the authors use qualitative data types with Primary and Secondary Data Sources. The results of this study indicate that the MBKM implementation can be carried out for students in semester 5 by carrying out a student exchange program and for students in semesters 6 and 7 by carrying out an internship program outside the college. Based on the results of interviews with the Dean and Head of the Islamic economics/sharia economics study program at three well-known universities, namely UIN Syarif Hidayatullah, the Tazkia Institute, and Padjadjaran University, the researchers concluded that the MBKM Program opens opportunities for students to develop their skills, expand their networks and go directly into the world of work. Therefore, in the future, alumni can adapt young and be able to compete with graduates.

Abstract

Improving the quality of Human Resources (HR) through the utilization of Zakat, Infak, Sedekah, and Waqf (ZISWAF) funds is the primary strategy in supporting education for underprivileged communities in West Pasaman Regency. This study aims to analyze the plan for improving the quality of HR through the utilization of ZISWAF funds in the Smart West Pasaman program managed by BAZNAS. The method employed is a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques that include interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses a SWOT analysis to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that impact the program's success. The results of the study show an IFAS value of 3.06865 and an EFAS value of 2.98861, which places the program in quadrant I on the Cartesian diagram with an aggressive strategy (SO). This strategy leverages internal strengths to capitalize on external opportunities, such as government regulatory support and high demand for education. The implications of this study suggest that the strategic utilization of ZISWAF funds can expand the scope of beneficiaries, enhance program effectiveness, and contribute sustainably to improving the quality of human resources in West Pasaman Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the state of cybersecurity and examine the implementation of risk management strategies at the Communication and Informatics Office of North Sumatra Province. The study employed a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, using interviews and documentation as data collection techniques. Interviews were conducted with three informants directly involved in cybersecurity management. The results indicate that the implementation of cybersecurity risk management has been carried out systematically through the stages of risk identification, analysis, evaluation, handling, and monitoring, supported by the use of a risk register and the Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle approach within the Information Security Management System framework. Risk assessments are conducted based on the level of impact and likelihood to determine priority for handling. The implemented mitigation strategies include risk control, avoidance, and transfer, with a focus on high-level risks. However, implementation still faces obstacles such as limited human resources, suboptimal internal policies, and a lack of support systems. Therefore, strengthening is needed through improving human resource competency, refining policies, and ongoing monitoring and evaluation to enhance the effectiveness of risk management and cybersecurity resilience.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of capital, fertilizer prices and sharia financing on the income of oil palm farmers in Dolok District, North Padang Lawas Regency. Farmers' income is influenced by various factors, including the capital used for production, fluctuating fertilizer prices, and access to sharia financing which offers an interest-free alternative in the agricultural financial system. The research method used is quantitative with a multiple linear regression approach. Data was obtained from 35 respondents who are oil palm farmers who are customers of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) KCP Gunung Tua. The research results show that fertilizer prices have a significant effect on the income of oil palm farmers, while capital and sharia financing do not have a significant effect. The simultaneous test (F test) shows that the three independent variables together have a significant influence on the income of oil palm farmers. However, the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) value of 40.4% shows that there are still other factors that influence the income of oil palm farmers in the area

Abstract

Licensing services are an important component in supporting the investment climate and ease of doing business in the region. This study aims to analyze the management of licensing service strategies at the Tanjungbalai City Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP). The analysis includes organizational strategies, program strategies, resource support strategies, and supporting and inhibiting service factors. The research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that DPMPTSP has implemented digital-based services through the Online Single Submission (OSS) system, Building Management Information System (SIMBG), and Sicantik Cloud. The implementation is supported by the strengthening of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and improving the quality of human resources. However, the implementation still faces obstacles in the form of network disruptions, limited technology infrastructure, and a limited number of service officers. Therefore, optimizing digital-based licensing services requires stable infrastructure support, increased apparatus capacity, and continuous coordination between stakeholders. This research contribution emphasizes the importance of an adaptive, integrative, and quality-oriented licensing service management strategy to support sustainable regional economic development.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan merumuskan model pengembangan berkelanjutan usaha Tenun Batubara berbasis Hexa Helix dalam perspektif ekonomi Islam melalui pendekatan Strengths, Opportunities, Aspirations, Results (SOAR) dan Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). Penelitian menggunakan metode mixed methods dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang didukung data kuantitatif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi dengan melibatkan pemerintah, akademisi, pelaku usaha, masyarakat, media, dan lembaga keuangan sebagai aktor Hexa Helix. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan usaha tenun masih menghadapi permasalahan berupa keterbatasan modal, rendahnya pendapatan, kapasitas produksi yang terbatas, kualitas sumber daya manusia yang belum optimal, ketimpangan struktur usaha antara pemilik galeri dan pengrajin penerima upah, serta ketimpangan akses pasar. Analisis IFE menunjukkan faktor opportunities sebagai faktor dominan dengan skor 2,068, sedangkan analisis EFE menunjukkan faktor aspirations sebagai faktor dominan dengan skor 2,182. Berdasarkan analisis SOAR diperoleh empat alternatif strategi pengembangan, dan hasil QSPM menetapkan strategi prioritas berupa pengembangan usaha tenun secara terpadu melalui penguatan permodalan, pemasaran, kapasitas produksi, serta pelatihan dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia dengan nilai Total Attractiveness Score (TAS) sebesar 4,332. Penelitian ini menghasilkan model pengembangan berkelanjutan berbasis Hexa Helix yang mengintegrasikan kolaborasi multipihak dengan strategi prioritas untuk meningkatkan daya saing, memperluas akses pasar, memperkuat kemandirian pengrajin, serta mewujudkan keberlanjutan usaha dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Dalam perspektif ekonomi Islam, model tersebut sejalan dengan prinsip ta'āwun, tamkīn, 'adl, maqāṣid al-syarī'ah, dan falāḥ. Kata kunci: Ekonomi Islam, Hexa Helix, QSPM, SOAR, UMKM Tenun

Abstract

This study aims to explore the perceptions and meanings of maslahah (public welfare) values in the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) at SD Negeri 030413 Salak, Pakpak Bharat Regency, North Sumatra Province. Pakpak Bharat Regency records a stunting prevalence of 28.9% far exceeding the national average of 19.8% while most beneficiary families are low-income and lack adequate access to nutritious food. This research employs a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design through semi-structured in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation involving nine informants. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman interactive model with interpretation based on the maqāṣid al-sharīʿah framework. The findings reveal five integrated dimensions of maslahah: fulfillment of ḥifẓ al-nafs through improvements in students’ physical health; strengthening of ḥifẓ al-ʿaql through increased concentration and learning readiness; preservation of ḥifẓ al-nasl through early intervention against stunting; realization of ḥifẓ al-dīn through religious practices accompanying the program; and protection of ḥifẓ al-māl through reduced household expenditure. Overall, the MBG Program functions not only as a nutritional intervention but also as a public policy aligned with maqāṣid al-sharīʿah, contributing to the multidimensional achievement of falah.

Abstract

Abstract This study was conducted to examine the influence of digital fraud risk, security, and Sharia trust on people’s decisions to use the Shopee app in Medan. The method used was a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The study sample consisted of 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires, which were then analyzed using multiple linear regression supported by t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results of the analysis indicate that the risk of digital fraud, security, and Sharia trust have a significant influence both partially and simultaneously on the decision to use Shopee, as indicated by a significance level of < 0.05. Furthermore, an R² value of 0.660 indicates that 66% of the variation in the decision to use Shopee can be explained by these three variables. Thus, the decision to use Shopee is influenced by the risk of digital fraud, security, and Sharia trust.  Keywords: Risk of Digital Fraud, Security, Sharia Trust, Shopee Users

Abstract

Economic development in rural areas, specifically, aims to improve community welfare. However, in practice, many challenges remain, such as limited technical skills, minimal innovation, and low community capacity to create and develop productive businesses. One way to address these challenges is through human resource empowerment. Gunung Tinggi Village has the potential to develop creative businesses, particularly among housewives, such as dishwashing soap. This product is a household necessity that is used routinely, so demand tends to be sustainable. Therefore, a SWOT analysis was used to provide sustainability recommendations for this business. The methods used included service learning (SL) with a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach to ensure active participant involvement and the program's alignment with the community's real needs. The results showed that the initial impact of this Community Service Program (PKM) activity was evident in the production of marketable products and the opening of new business opportunities, which directly contributed to the diversification of income sources and increased family economic independence. Furthermore, the application of SWOT analysis proved effective as a tool in formulating sustainability strategies for the micro-enterprises being developed.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pengembangan usaha Raudhah Bakery sebagai unit usaha berbasis pesantren dalam menghadapi persaingan usaha dan memperluas jangkauan pasar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, sedangkan analisis strategi menggunakan analisis SWOT untuk mengidentifikasi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman usaha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Raudhah Bakery memiliki kekuatan berupa kualitas produk, harga yang relatif terjangkau, dukungan lingkungan pesantren, serta potensi pasar internal yang cukup kuat. Adapun kelemahan yang ditemukan meliputi keterbatasan promosi, jangkauan pemasaran, dan kapasitas pengembangan usaha. Di sisi lain, peluang pengembangan usaha terbuka melalui pemanfaatan media digital, diversifikasi produk, serta penguatan jaringan kemitraan. Berdasarkan analisis SWOT, strategi pengembangan diarahkan pada peningkatan pemasaran digital, pengembangan variasi produk sesuai kebutuhan konsumen, penguatan kemitraan, dan optimalisasi potensi pasar pesantren. Strategi tersebut tidak hanya berorientasi pada peningkatan penjualan, tetapi juga mendukung kemandirian ekonomi pesantren dan keberlanjutan usaha. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi antara strategi bisnis, pemanfaatan teknologi, dan nilai-nilai ekonomi pesantren dapat menjadi pendekatan yang relevan dalam mengembangkan UMKM berbasis pesantren.  Kata kunci: Strategi Pengembangan Usaha, Raudhah Bakery, UMKM, Pesantren, Analisis SWOT.
