Abstract

Batteries are one of the secondary interests that are needed in everyday life. The increasing use of batteries causes a buildup of used batteries that have been thrown away so far. In fact, battery waste includes waste that is difficult to decompose and contains hazardous and toxic materials, so it requires special handling in dealing with it. One effort that can be done is to recycle used batteries through processing banana peel waste into an electrolyte paste to replace carbon in the battery. This processing is carried out through dissemination of practical processing to PKK Dusun Kallimpo, Palakka Village, Kahu District with the product in the form of Bio-Battery. The activity was carried out in three stages, namely socialization, training and monitoring. The end result of this service is an increase in the knowledge and skills of PKK Dusun Kallimpo partners in processing banana peels into Bio-Battery as seen from the positive partner preferences with a percentage of 98%.

Abstract

Bedda Lotong is a powder made from roasted rice with spices that has been used for generations in the Bugis-Makassarese culture. Bedda Lotong used to be only used by the daughters of nobles, especially the descendants of Arung Paria and Bugis brides who were about to get married. However, the production of Bedda Lotong has begun to disappear and is only produced on a family scale which is carried out in a subsystem during spare time and is managed traditionally. The partnership program for the community focuses on promoting Bedda Lotong as a Bugis-Makassar ethno-spa. The activities carried out were in the form of counseling in the form of awareness of the benefits of Bedda Lotong, training and demonstrations on the processing of Bedda Lotong for partner groups, and mentoring. The results obtained from this partnership program are that the community is able to process rice groats and other ingredients into Bedda Lotong scrubs and a differentiation product, namely Bedda Lotong powder. The impact of this activity is the preservation of Tellu Sulapa Eppa culture through the manufacture of Bedda Lotong.

Abstract

Communication is an important element used to help realize common interests in achieving a goal to be achieved. Communication is very necessary in the continuity of the learning process, especially during this Covid-19 period. The Covid-19 pandemic has brought significant changes to various sectors, including the education sector, where all rely on the use of technology that can connect teachers and students, thus making it easy for students to get good network coverage to take part in online learning. This is a major problem for students who live in areas with minimal signal, where each student has to struggle to find a signal and even climb a hill which of course will be dangerous for his safety, as happened in Pationgi village, where the location is very far from the city, resulting in network coverage in the village is very minimal. The implementation of PKM will be a solution for the community in providing an alternative by converting used frying pans into simple signal amplifiers. This used skillet will be combined with a repeater equipped with unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable so that the signal produced is much better and facilitates internet access through the empowerment of the youth of the Pationgi village mosque. The impact of implementing PKM supports the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic, increases partner creativity and supports digital literacy programs.

Abstract

This Community Service is a Student Creativity Program carried out by the partners of the Karang Taruna Group, Batulappa Village, Patimpeng District, Bone Regency. This activity aims to solve problems regarding E-Waste that occur due to continuous accumulation. E-Waste buildup usually occurs due to minor damage or has entered the end of use. E-Waste is one of the wastes made from hazardous materials, so it includes hazardous and toxic materials (B3) whose concentration will affect health and pollute the environment if it accumulates. E-Waste Processing, a very crucial impact is that generally the owner of the electronic service only burns the generated electronic waste. However, this can pollute the air and environmental ecosystems, so other efforts are needed in overcoming and reducing electronic waste for education to the Karang Taruna Group in Batulappa Village. E-Waste mix resin can be used as a means to channel the creativity of the Karang Taruan Group in Batulappa Village as a partner by processing the components that exist in E-Waste. The work produced can be commercialized with a high selling value to help improve the partner's economy as a provision for future skills for entrepreneurship.
