Abstract

Kendala sifat fisik tanah alluvial yang mampat dapat diatasi dengan pemberian bahan organik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis bokashi limbah ampas batang tebu terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat pada tanah alluvial. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Pontianak menggunakan rumah plastik mulai bulan Agustus sampai dengan bulan Desember 2012. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen lapang Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), dengan satu faktor yaitu dosis bokashi limbah ampas batang tebu (T) yang terdiri dari enam taraf perlakuan. Masing-masing taraf perlakuan diulang empat kali dan terdiri dari empat sampel. Perlakuan yang dimaksud adalah T0 (tanpa penambahan bokashi limbah ampas batang tebu), T1 (dosis bokashi 28 g/polybag), T2 (dosis bokashi 428 g/polybag), T3 (dosis bokashi 828 g/polybag), T4 (dosis bokashi 1.228 g/polybag) dan T5 (dosis bokashi 1.628 g/polybag). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian bokashi limbah ampas batang tebu pada tanah alluvial dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman tomat, tetapi tidak dapat meningkatkan hasil tanaman tomat. Hasil panen tanaman tomat terendah diperoleh dari perlakuan T0 (tanpa penambahan bokashi) yaitu 200,18 g per tanaman dan hasil panen tomat tertinggi diperoleh dari perlakuan T4 (dosis bokashi 1.228 g/polybag) yaitu 260,04 g per tanaman atau setara dengan 5,98 ton per hektar. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the best dose of the combination of KCl and Compost Banana Peel  on the growth and yield of tomatoes on alluvial soil. This research was conducted from October 2017 to January 2018 at Trial Garden of Agriculture faculty Tanjungpura University. The research design used in this study was Completely Randomized Design with 6 levels of combination treatment of KCl and Compost Banana Peel: A = 3.1 g/polybag KCl + 0 Compost Banana Peel, B = 3.1 g/polybag KCl + 500 g/polybag Compost Banana Peel, C = 4.4 g/polybag KCl + 500 g/polybag Compost Banana Peel, D = 5.6 g/polybag KCl + 500 g/polybag Compost Banana Peel, E = 6.9 g/polybag KCl + 500 g/polybag Compost Banana Peel, F = 8.1 g/polybag KCl + 500 g/polybag Compost Banana Peel. Each treatment was repeated four times, and the experimental unit consisted of 4 plant samples. Variables in this study were plant height, root volume, dry weight, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant and weight per fruit. The result of variety analysis shows that combination of KCl and Banana Peel Compost have significant effect on plant height, root volume, dry weight and not significant effect on number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant and weight per fruit, the result of this research show that combination 3,1 g/polybag KCl + 500 g/polybag Compos Banana Peel equal of 20 ton/ha give effektive growth and yield on tomato plant on alluvial soil.  Keywords: Alluvial, Compost Banana Peel And KCl, Tomato.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk kandang ayam dan pupuk NPK terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman padi dengan metode SRI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metoda eksperimen lapangan dalam bentuk faktorial dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari dua faktor yaitu pupuk kandang ayam (P) yang terdiri dari 2 taraf yaitu P1 (2 ton/ha) dan P2 (3 ton/ha), dan pupuk NPK (V) yang terdiri dari 5 taraf yaitu V1 (20% rekomendasi), V2 (40% rekomendasi), V3 (60% rekomendasi), V4 (80% rekomendasi) dan V5 (100% rekomendasi). Setiap perlakuan terdiri dari 3 ulangan dan setiap ulangan terdiri dari 3 sampel, sehingga terdapat 30 satuan perlakuan dan 90 tanaman. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini yaitu tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah anakan maksimum (anakan), jumlah anakan produktif (anakan), persentase gabah isi per malai (%), kerapatan malai (bulir/cm), berat 1000 biji gabah (g) dan barat gabah per rumpun (g). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pupuk kandang ayam berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap semua variable pengamatan. Pupuk NPK berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap semua variabel pengamatan. Interaksi pupuk kandang ayam dan pupuk NPK berpengaruh nyata terhadap variabel tinggi tanaman minggu ke-6. Perlakuan pupuk kandang ayam 18,75 g/ember setara dengan 3 ton/ha dan pupuk NPK 40% rekomendasi yaitu Urea 0,225 g/ember, SP36 0,30 g/ember dan KCl 0,13 g/ember atau setara dengan Urea 36kg/ha, SP36 48kg/ha dan KCl 21,6kg/ha memberikan pertumbuhan terbaik terhadap variabel tinggi tanaman minggu ke-6 yaitu 67,33 cm meskipun di bawah rerata deskripsi. Pada komponen hasil berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap semua variabel pengamatan. Namun rerata jumlah anakan produktif mencapai 15,10 anakan dan sama seperti yang tertera dalam deskrispi. Persentase gabah isi per malai tergolong rendah yaitu 75,55 % gabah isi. Kerapatan malai juga tergolong rendah yaitu 3,97 bulir/cm. Hal ini terlihat dari rerata jumlah gabah per malai yang tergolong rendah yaitu 85,62 bulir sementara pada deskripsi 157 bulir dan panjang malai yang tergolong sedang dengan rerata yaitu 21,52 cm. Barat 1000 bulir gabah tergolong rendah dengan rerata 26,48 g sementara pada deskripsi 28 g. Hal ini disebabkan oleh serangan hama penggerek batang padi atau biasa di sebut beluk.

Abstract

RESPON TANAMAN JAGUNG MANIS PADA TANAH GAMBUT  TERHADAP PEMBERIAN BEBERAPA JENIS BAHAN PEMBENAH TANAH  Jumadi(1), Elly Mustamir (2), Nurjani(3)(1)Mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian dan (2) Staf Pengajar Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak(3) Staf Pengajar Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianake-mail: jumadi_agrotek@yahoo.co.id  ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of five kind of soil enhancers to growth and yield of sweet corn plant grown on peat soil. This research was conducted on peat land located in Permata City Complex, Bansir Darat Village, Pontianak Southeast Subdistrict, Pontianak Regency, West Kalimantan Province. The study was conducted in December 2017 until February 2018 This research used field experiment with Randomized Block Design (RBD), with one factor, consit of 5 treatments and 5 replications, each treatment plot taken 4 plant samples. The treatment were: p1 = 2.5 kg of Dolomite Lime per block, p2 = 2.85 kg of Clam Powder per block, p3 = 4.56 kg burn of Ash Wood per block, p4 = 5,8 kg ash coconut husk per block, P5 = 7.12 kg of Palm Long Ash per block. Observational Variables observed were leaf area (cm2), root volume (cm3), dry weight (g), unsweethed cob weight per plant (g), cob length (cm), cob diameter (cm) and cob weight per block (kg) and the enviromental variables are Air Temperature (oC), Air Humidity (%), Rainfall (mm), and soil pH. Result of this research have significantly have to all observation variables. Based on the results of the study can be concluded that the provision of several types of soil enhancers apllied affect the growth and yield of sweet corn plants on peat soil. The burn of wood ash has a better effect when compared with other treatments on growth observations and sweet corn yields on peat soils.Keywords: Peat, ameliorant, and Sweet Corn.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pupuk kandang kelinci dan abu kayu terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman pare pada tanah aluvial. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui dosis kombinasi antara pupuk kandang kotoran kelinci dan abu kayu yang terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman pare pada tanah aluvial. Penelitian dilaksanakan di desa Parit Deraman, Punggur Besar Kecamatan Sungai Kakap, Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama ± 3 bulan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dalam bentuk faktorial dengan pola Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan terdiri dari dua faktor yaitu pupuk kandang kelinci dengan 3 taraf dan abu kayu sebanyak 3 taraf, sehingga diperoleh kombinasi 27 perlakuan. Tiap kombinasi perlakuan terdiri dari 3 sampel dan diulang sebanyak 3 kali, sehingga terdapat 81 unit percobaan. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini yaitu, jumlah daun per tanaman, volume akar, jumlah buah per tanaman, berat segar buah per tanaman, panjang buah per tanaman, diameter buah per tanaman dan berat kering tanaman. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Interaksi antara pupuk kandang kelinci dan abu kayu berpengaruh nyata terhadap volume akar dan berat kering tanaman. menunjukan bahwa interaksi pemberian pupuk kandang kelinci dan abu kayu berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah daun per tanaman, volume akar, berat segar buah per tanaman, dan berat kering tanaman. Sedangkan untuk pemberian pupuk kandang kelinci berpengaruh nyata pada jumlah daun per tanaman, volume akar, berat segar buah per tanaman, dan berat kering tanaman. Pemberian abu kayu berpengaruh nyata pada variabel jumlah daun per tanaman, volume akar, jumlah buah per tanaman, berat segar buah per tanaman, panjang buah per tanaman, diameter buah per tanaman, dan berat kering tanaman.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of plants spacing and waiting for rice varieties on the growth and yield of rice plants using the SRI method and their interactions. The study was carried out in Kalimas Village, Sungai Kakap Subdistrict, Kubu Raya District, on tidal land. This study was conducted the month of May 2018 to August 2018, using a divided plot design consisting of plant spacing of 20 cm x 20 cm, 30 cm x 30 cm, and 40 cm x 40 cm as sub plots and superior rice varieties Situbagendit and Inpari 32 as a main plot. Each treatment was repeated 4 times, with 5 sample plants per map. The observation variables in this study were plant height, maximum number of tillers, number of productive tillers, panicle length, number of grains per panicle, percentage of filled grains per panicle, weight of 1000 grains of grain, weight of grain per clump and weight of grain per plot.               The results showed that the treatment of spacing significantly affected the variable number of productive tillers and weight of grain per clump. The results of the analysis of the diversity of superior rice varieties had a significant effect on panicle length and the percentage of grain content and the interaction of the two treatments had no significant effect. Effective spacing is found at a spacing of 40 cm x 40 cm, and the best superior rice varieties are found in the Situbagendit variety. Keywords: Inpari 32 varieties, plants spacing, rice, Situbagendit varieties, SRI method

Abstract

This research aims to find out interaction between consentration and frequency of Gandasil leaf fertilizer to Paprika plants. The research was conducted in Experimental Garden of Agriculture Faculty of Tanjungpura University Pontianak with altitude of place 1-2 m on sea surface. This research held on March 03st  up to May 19th 2019. The method of this research is Randomized Completely Design with two treatment factors. The first factor was the concentration (k) of Gandasil leaf fertilizer with 3 levels treatment are k1= 1 g/liter, k2= 2 g/liter, k3= 3 g/liter, and the second factor was the frequency (f) of Gandasil leaf fertilizer with 3 levels treatment are f1= every 5 days, f2= every 10 days, f3= every 15 days, so that obtained 9 treatment combination. Every treatments reapeated as 3 times and consist of 4 sample plants and number of all plants are 108 plants. Observation variable included height of plants, fresh weight of plant, dried weight of plant f. The result of this research showed that the interaction between concentration and frequency of Gandasil leaf fertilizer have been not able to improved production Paprika plants. The interaction between concentration and frequency significantly afffected the heigh of plant  4, and 5 weeks after cultivation, fresh wight of plants,  dried weight of plant. Single factor af concentration significantly affected the height of plant 4 and 5 weeks after cultivation, fresh weight and dried weight of plants. The result of the research showed that interaction between concentration 2 g/liter and frequency every 10 days gave the best result to the height of plants  4, and 5 weeks ater cultivation, fresh wight of plants and dried weight of plants.

Abstract

This Research aims find out at the differences of various types of nutrition given to lettuce plants and find out the best types of nutrients uses in responding and yielding Lettuce hydroponic plants NFT system. The study was conducted at the Greenhouse Kampong Hidropon Sungai Raya Dalam KM 4 Pontianak City. The research began on September 24, 2018 until November 5, 2018. The design used in this study consisted of 5 levels of treatment without repetition, each treatment contained 20 plant samples so that there were a total of 100 plants. The treatments in the study were A = Goodplant Nutrient, B = Best Harvest, C = Hydroponic Cheers, D = West Borneo MIX, E = Hydroponic Kampong. The observed variables were number of leaves (strands), plant height (cm), total fresh weight (g), crown fresh weight (g), root volume cm³), and plant dry weight (g). The results of this study showed that various types of nutrition significantly affected all observed variables with NPK ratios of 24.6%, 7.4%, 34.9%, namely the Goodplant nutritional treatment gave the best average treatment for all observed variables. Keywords: Hydroponics, Nutrition Type, Lettuce, NFT

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dosis kombinasi urea dan kapur yang dapat memberikan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung manis terbaik pada lahan sulfat masam dengan teknik budidaya jenuh air. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 2 Agustus 2019 sampai 16 Oktober 2019 di Desa Kalimas, Kecamatan Sungai Kakap, Kabupaten Kubu Raya, Kalimantan Barat. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan total perlakuan ada 6, 2 perlakuan urea tanpa kombinasi, 2 perlakuan urea dikombinasikan dengan dolomit dan 2 lagi dikombinasikan dengan abu. Perlakuan diulang sebanyak 5 kali, dan setiap satuan percobaan terdiri dari 8 sampel tanaman. Variabel pada penelitian ini yaitu tinggi tanaman, panjang daun, jumlah daun, bobot kering tanaman, volume akar, bobot kering akar, panjang tongkol, bobot tongkol berkelobot, bobot tongkol tanpa kelobot, diameter tongkol dan jumlah baris biji. Hasil analisis keragaman pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan kombinasi kapur dan urea memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap variabel tinggi tanaman minggu ke 6 setelah tanam, panjang daun dan bobot kering tanaman namun tidak pada variabel jumlah daun, volume akar, bobot kering akar, panjang tongkol, bobot tongkol berkelobot, bobot tongkol tanpa kelobot, diameter tongkol dan jumlah baris biji.
