Abstract

High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) are one of the important thinking skills for learning mathematics. The importance of HOTS causes teachers to be able to map students' HOTS abilities so they can provide appropriate learning, especially to improve HOTS itself. Therefore we need a HOTS-based assessment instrument so that students' higher-order thinking skills can be measured properly. This study aims to develop a HOTS-based assessment instrument on numbers and their operations for fourth grade elementary school students. The development stage carried out is the preliminary stage, the self-evaluation stage, the formative evaluation stage through expert reviews, one on one, and small group) and field tests. The test instrument used is content validity test with Lawshe's CVR coefficient. Furthermore, item analysis was carried out using Graded Response Model (GRM) analysis. The results of this study indicate that the HOTS mathematical test instrument developed using numbers and their operations in measuring the high-level thinking skills of fourth grade students at SD Gugus V Sukawati achieves predetermined criteria, namely valid and reliable. The test instrument in the form of HOTS math questions which was developed has a valid quality in improving the mathematical high-level thinking of fourth grade students at SD Gugus V Sukawati. This is supported by the validation results of 7 validators who obtained a value of 2.95, which means that the HOTS math questions are in the relevant criteria.

Abstract

High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) is important for students' thinking skills. The application of HOTS-oriented problems to students is a crucial thing that needs to be implemented by teachers so that students have the ability to think at a higher level, and are ready to face various problems in everyday life. In fact, the level of thinking of students in Indonesia has not yet reached HOTS, so that the quality of our human resources is still lagging behind that of developed countries. This research has the aim of testing and compiling the quality of HOTS questions related to mathematics for class VIII students of SMP PGRI 2 Denpasar semester I. The development model applied to the development of this product is by applying the formative research type which is structured through several stages including preliminary, self-evaluation, and formative evaluation. The results of this study indicate that the HOTS math questions that have been developed meet valid and reliable criteria. The HOTS test results of the students obtained an average of 71.10 with a completeness percentage of 70, with (r count) > 0.361 (r table). The reliability of the test obtained is 0.940, this shows the interpretation of reliability in the high category. All items have differentiating power in the "very good" category and all questions are in the category of good difficulty level because they are in the interval 0.31-0.70. So that the HOTS mathematical questions have practical, valid, and effective qualities to improve thinking skills at a higher level for Grade VIII students at SMP PGRI 2 Denpasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk mengembangkan video pembelajaran interaktif berbasis proyek berbantuan google classroom. Kemudian secara spesifik bertujuan untuk: 1. mendeskripsikan karakteristik video pembelajaran interaktif; 2. mengetahui validitas, kepraktisan, dan reliabilitasnya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan prosedur pengembangan oleh Plomp yang terdiri dari 3 fase, yaitu Fase Preliminary Research, Fase Prototyping, dan Fase Assessment. Setelah dilakukan uji pakar, diperoleh video pembelajaran interaktif termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Kemudian dilakukan uji coba terbatas, diperoleh video pembelajaran interaktif termasuk dalam kategori sangat praktis dan efektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) adanya karakteristik pada video pembelajaran yang dikembangkan (interaktif, membantu mendiagnosis siswa, kontekstual, dan berfokus kepada HOTS), (2) video pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berkualitas sangat valid (skor 3,655), sangat praktis (skor 3,75 pada angket keterlaksanaan,skor 3,5 pada angket respon siswa, dan skor 3,75 pada angket respon guru) dan efektif (skor rata-rata 95%).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Tejakula yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran treffinger dengan pendekatan open-ended lebih baik dari hasil belajar matematika siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experimental) dengan desain penelitian post test only control group design. Populasi dari penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Tejakula pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Data tentang hasil belajar matematika siswa diperoleh melalui tes hasil belajar matematika siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh rata-rata skor tes hasil belajar matematika siswa pada kelas eksperimen adalah 71,72 dan pada kelas kontrol adalah 61,25. Selanjutnya skor tes hasil belajar matematika siswa dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t satu ekor (ekor kanan) pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa thitung=3.275939663 sedangkan dengan taraf signifikansi 5% diperoleh ttabel=1.998971498, sehingga H0 ditolak. Nilai statistik ini memiliki makna bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran treffinger dengan pendekatan open-ended lebih baik dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran treffinger dengan pendekatan open-ended berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make A Match terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Tejakula. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dengan Post-Test only control group design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Tejakula tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Kemudian sampel kelas diambil dengan teknik random sampling sehingga diperoleh kelas VII A sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas VII H sebagai kelompok kontrol. Dalam penelitian ini pengumpulan data kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa menggunakan tes uraian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh rata-rata skor tes pemecahan masalah pada kelas eksperimen adalah 35,25 dan pada kelas kontrol adalah 25,49. Hasil uji-t Data Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Siswa menunjukkan bahwa thitung = 4,64968 dan ttabel = 1,99601. Dengan demikian diperoleh bahwa thitung lebih dari ttabel atau thitung >ttabel. Hal ini, berarti kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Tejakula yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Make A Match lebih baik daripada kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

The teacher's ability to create learning media is needed to increase interest, learning outcomes, and student character. One of the media that can increase interest, learning outcomes, and student character is infographic media. In addition, infographic media has an effective role in providing education on health problems. Therefore this study examines the role of infographic media in the basic description of schools in increasing student interest, character, and learning outcomes as well as overcoming health problems. This research method is qualitative with the type of literature review research regarding the implementation of infographic media at the basic education level and overcoming health problems. The results obtained from previous research regarding the development of infographic media in increasing interest, learning outcomes, and student character, as well as infographics regarding managing nutritional health problems, organ reproduction, and preventing the Covid-19 Pandemic. The conclusion from this research is that infographics can increase interest in learning, learning outcomes, and the character of students at the basic education level. Infographics can be used as educational media for knowledge of nutrition, adolescent reproductive health, and prevention of pandemic outbreaks. For other research, it is hoped that it can implement infographic media with interesting material and be integrated with local wisdom, learning models, and can be disseminated for educational, economic, and health purposes.

Abstract

The Provincial Government of Bali assumes a crucial role in administering various public service applications to meet the requirements of its community, traditional villages, and regional apparatus. Nevertheless, the escalating magnitude of traffic and uneven distribution of requests have resulted in substantial server burdens, which may jeopardize the operation of applications and heighten the likelihood of downtime. Ensuring efficient load distribution is of utmost importance in tackling these difficulties, and the Round Robin algorithm is often utilized for this purpose. However, the current body of research has not extensively examined the distinct circumstances surrounding on-premise servers in the Bali Provincial Government. The primary objective of this study is to address the significant gap in knowledge by conducting a comprehensive evaluation of the Round Robin algorithm's effectiveness in load-balancing on-premise servers inside the Bali Provincial Government. The primary objective of our study is to assess the appropriateness of the algorithm within the given context, with the ultimate goal of providing practical and implementable suggestions. The observations above can optimize system efficiency and minimize periods of inactivity, thereby enhancing the provision of vital public services across Bali. This study provides essential insights for enhancing server infrastructure and load-balancing strategies through empirical evaluation and comprehensive analysis. Its findings are valuable for the Bali Provincial Government and serve as a reference for other organizations facing challenges managing server loads. This study signifies a notable advancement in establishing reliable and practical public service applications within Bali.

Abstract

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Politeknik Pariwisata Bali as a State University implements E-Government through the implementation of electronic administration in the E-Office application. E-Office facilitates the issuance of assignment letters, the reporting of tasks, the application for leave, and the recording of daily performance through E-Logbook. Despite the fact that E-Office has been adopted since 2020, it is known that user resistance to the system persists. In this study, the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model is employed to characterize the factors that influence the acceptance and utilization of E-Office at the Politeknik Pariwisata Bali. In this analysis, the employment status variable was added to the UTAUT model. It is anticipated that the uniqueness of employment status contributed to the development of the UTAUT model will be a novel aspect of this research, allowing it to make a significant scientific contribution, particularly to the study of the UTAUT model. The five stages of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), namely model specification, model identification, model estimation, model testing, and model modification, will be applied to model development. A total of 158 respondents with ASN and PTT employment status at Politeknik Pariwisata Bali have completed the questionnaire to capture data. The results indicate, based on the t-statistic value, that performance expectations (PE), effort expectations (EE), social factors (SI), and facility conditions (FC) have a significant impact on system utilization behavior (UB). While employment status has a positive but insignificant effect on user desire (BI), this effect is insignificant.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Game Based Learning berorientasi Kahoot terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas V Gugus IV Banjar yang berjumlah 142 siswa. Penelitian ini tergolong jenis eksperimen semu. Sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian ini adalah untuk kelas eksperimen yaitu siswa kelas V SDN 1 Kecamatan Banjar berjumlah 28 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas V berjumlah 26 orang yaitu dari SDN 9 Banjar sebagai kelompok kontrol. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Data dianalisis dengan Anava. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran berbasis permainan berorientasi Kahoot terhadap motivasi nilai signifikansi lebih kecil 0,05 (0,001< 0,05). Kesimpulannya pembelajaran berbasis permainan berorientasi Kahoot berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar bahasa Inggris siswa.

Abstract

Metode bermain sambil belajar kurang diterapkan di dalam pembelajaran hal ini dikarenakan guru kurang kreatif dalam mengemas pembelajaran, sarana dan prasarana kurang memadai, dan kurangnya motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui proyek permainan matematika dalam mengembangkan karakter siswa kelas VIII, (2) karakteristik proyek permainan matematika dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII, dan (3) mengetahui proyek permainan matematika valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian desain yang dilaksanakan dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 3 Kediri pada semester ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023. Efektifitas perangkat diukur menggunakan angket motivasi belajar siswa, sedangkan kepraktisan perangkat diukur dengan menggunakan angket respon guru dan siswa. Data validitas dan kepraktisan dianalisis dengan persentase dan data motivasi belajar siswa dengan perolehan rata-rata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validitas permainan matematika oleh ke dua ahli memperoleh rata-rata 3,81 pada kategori valid, nilai kepraktisan respon siswa pada uji terbatas adalah 79,87%, pada uji lapangan I 80,93%, dan pada uji lapangan II 82,20%. Sedangkan nilai kepraktisan berdasarkan angket respon guru pada uji terbatas adalah 80%, pada uji coba lapangan I 82%, dan pada uji coba lapangan II 84%. Rata-rata skor motivasi belajar siswa pada uji coba lapangan I adalah 68,93, dan rata-rata skor motivasi belajar siswa pada uji coba lapangan II adalah 78,67. Hasil Pengembangan karakter siswa dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pemberian tugas proyek yang dikerjakan secara berkelompok. Simpulan yakni karakter siswa tercermin ketika pelaksanaan pemberian tugas proyek dan kegiatan berkelompok, proyek permainan matematika meningkatkan motivasi belajar isswa, dan proyek permainan matematika valid dan praktis.
