Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui (1) Bagaimana bentuk partisipasi masyarakat lokal dalam pengembangan Ekowisata Mangrove Lantebung, (2) Bagaimana kendala yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat lokal dalam pengembangan Ekowisata Mangrove Lantebung. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan penentuan informan penelitian menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Pengumpulan data penelitian diperoleh melalui teknik observasi, wawancara langsung kepada informan yang berjumlah 9 orang sesuai dengan kriteria informan yang telah ditentukan, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) bentuk partisipasi yang diberikan masyarakat adalah partisipasi dalam bentuk ide/gagasan dalam tahap perencanaan, partisipasi dalam bentuk tindakan diberikan dalam tahap pelaksanaan dalam wujud pemanfaatan sumber daya manusia untuk terlibat langsung dalam pengelolaan ekowisata dan melakukan berbagai usaha yang mendukung pengembangan ekowisata, serta pada tahap monitoring dan evaluasi masyarakat berpartisipasi dalam bentuk melakukan pengawasan dan memberikan saran dan kritik terkait pengelolaan ekowisata. (2) kendala-kendala yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat dalam pengembangan ekowisata berupa kendala komunikasi, keterbatasan anggaran, serta kurangnya sumber daya manusia yang berkompeten.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Menganalisis peran guru dalam pencegahan cyberbullying di lingkungan sekolah SMP Negeri 8 Watampone. 2) Menganalisis peran pemanfaatan teknologi dalam mendukung pencegahan cyberbullying di SMP Negeri 8 Watampone. 3) Mengidentifikasi efektivitas upaya pencegahan cyberbullying di SMP Negeri 8 Watampone. 4) Menganalisis pengaruh peran guru dan pemanfaatan teknologi terhadap pencegahan cyberbullying di SMP Negeri 8 Watampone.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Variabel penelitian terdiri dari Peran Guru (Variabel X1), Pemanfaatan Teknologi (Variabel X2), dan Pencegahan Cyberbullying (Variabel Y). Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, angket/survei, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Peran guru dalam pencegahan cyberbullying di SMP Negeri 8 Watampone sangat signifikan, karena guru tidak hanya memberikan edukasi tetapi juga membimbing dan melindungi siswa melalui kampanye anti cyberbullying, pendampingan psikologis, dan pendidikan etika digital. Sementara itu, 2) Pemanfaatan teknologi juga terbukti efektif dalam upaya tersebut melalui kampanye media sosial, pembelajaran daring, dan sistem pelaporan berbasis teknologi, yang meningkatkan kewaspadaan siswa dan memudahkan pelaporan kejadian bullying. 3) Keberhasilan upaya pencegahan cyberbullying di sekolah ini telah mencapai tingkat efektivitas sebesar 87%, didukung oleh strategi pencegahan, intervensi, dan upaya pemulihan, termasuk edukasi, pemantauan digital, dan pembinaan bagi korban dan pelaku. 4) Analisis lebih lanjut menunjukkan bahwa peran guru dan pemanfaatan teknologi berkontribusi signifikan dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang aman dari cyberbullying. Kolaborasi antara kedua faktor ini memungkinkan guru dan teknologi untuk bekerja sama dalam mendidik, meningkatkan kewaspadaan, dan menciptakan ruang yang mendukung bagi siswa untuk menghindari perilaku cyberbullying. Dengan pendekatan terpadu ini, SMP Negeri 8 Watampone telah menunjukkan tingkat efektivitas yang tinggi dalam pencegahan perundungan siber.This study aims to determine: 1) Analyze the teacher's role in preventing cyberbullying in the school environment of SMP Negeri 8 Watampone. 2) Analyze the role of technology utilization in supporting cyberbullying prevention at SMP Negeri 8 Watampone. 3) Identify the effectiveness of cyberbullying prevention efforts at SMP Negeri 8 Watampone. 4) Analyze the influence of the teacher's role and technology utilization on cyberbullying prevention at SMP Negeri 8 Watampone.The research method used is a quantitative descriptive approach. The research variables consist of Teacher's Role (Variable X1), Technology Utilization (Variable X2), and Cyberbullying Prevention (Variable Y). Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires/surveys, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistics and inferential analysis.The results of the study indicate that: 1) The teacher's role in preventing cyberbullying at SMP Negeri 8 Watampone is highly significant, as they not only educate but also guide and protect students through anti-cyberbullying campaigns, psychological assistance, and digital ethics education. Meanwhile, 2) Technology utilization has also proven to be effective in these efforts through social media campaigns, online learning, and technology-based reporting systems, which increase student awareness and facilitate reporting of bullying incidents. 3) The success of cyberbullying prevention efforts at this school has reached an effectiveness level of 87%, supported by prevention strategies, interventions, and recovery efforts, including education, digital monitoring, and guidance for both victims and perpetrators. 4) Further analysis shows that the teacher's role and technology utilization significantly contribute to creating a safe environment from cyberbullying. The collaboration between these two factors enables teachers and technology to work together in educating, raising awareness, and creating a supportive space for students to avoid engaging in cyberbullying behavior. With this integrated approach, SMP Negeri 8 Watampone has demonstrated a high level of effectiveness in cyberbullying prevention.

Abstract

This study aims to; 1) Describe the process/stages of the Mattompang Arajang tradition in Bone Regency. 2) Analyze the meaning of Mattompang Arajang culture in the socio-cultural life of the people in Bone Regency. 3) Analyze the impact of the Mattompang Arajang tradition in the life of the Bugis Bone community. The type of research used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach, the author wants to understand how humans together create the reality of their social groups, organizations, and cultures. The number of informants consists of 7 people, with the following criteria; cultural figures of Bone Regency and the people of Bone Regency. Data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of the study show that: 1) The mattompang arajang tradition procession in Bone Regency is; a) malekke toja, is the process of moving or taking water from a holy spring accompanied by the sound of traditional music, b) mappaota is the process of presenting betel as a symbol that the mattompang arajang tradition will soon begin, c) matteddu arajang is the process of waking up heirlooms with a ceremony accompanied by music, d) mattompang arajang/masossoro, is the process of purifying heirlooms accompanied by drums and dance during the cleaning process, and e) mappatinro arajang is the process of putting heirlooms back to sleep by reciting prayers known as mamemmeng 2) The meaning of the mattompang arajang tradition in Bone Regency is; a) the magical meaning b) the meaning of cleansing/purifying, c) the meaning of friendship and mercies and d) the meaning of cultural preservation 3) The impact of the Mattompang Arajang tradition in people's lives is the social impact as the Mattompang Arajang tradition is a place to strengthen relations between groups and the cultural impact is one way of introducing traditional values to the younger generation as cultural preservation.

Abstract

This article will discuss the strategies used by the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) in responding to the crisis of public trust in the Bantimurung District. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques involve in-depth interviews, field observations, and the study of relevant documents regarding Bawaslu's work program. Research informants consist of the Chairperson and members of Bawaslu, community leaders, political party officials, and the general public. The research findings indicate that Bawaslu's main strategies include increasing information transparency through mass media broadcasts and periodic meetings with stakeholders; optimizing the supervision functions to prevent money politics and campaign violations at the sub-district/village level; improving public complaint services; and massive socialization of Bawaslu's roles and functions to schools, community organizations, and the general public. However, the implementation of these strategies is still not fully effective due to obstacles such as human resources, budget constraints, inter-agency coordination, and lack of regulatory support. The conclusion of this research is that strong commitment and collaboration are needed from various stakeholders, including local governments and regional representative councils (DPRD), to support efforts to restore public trust in Bawaslu in the Bantimurung District.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the mechanisms of social‑media use, primarily Instagram and WhatsApp groups, in building social awareness on Lae‑Lae Island, and to analyse the role of social media in organising collective actions of the Lae‑Lae Island fishermen community. The reclamation plan triggers resistance because it is perceived to threaten both the marine ecosystem and the livelihoods of residents. This research employs a qualitative approach, utilising a case-study method, which involves in-depth interviews with eight key informants purposively selected, participant observation in both physical and digital spaces, and document analysis of content and visuals. The study is analysed using resource-mobilisation theory and relational network‑solidarity theory. Findings show that the media play an important role in facilitating the formation of social solidarity among the fishing community. Social media shape collective identity, become a space for sharing information and joint narratives that strengthen the consensus against reclamation, and also serve as a digital mobilisation tool for organising collective actions. The synergy between solidarity networks, activists, NGOs, students, the Kawal Pesisir alliance, and community members supported by media communication strategies strengthens the fishermen community’s capacity to mobilise resources, formulate demands, influence public opinion, and sustain the anti‑reclamation movement on Lae‑Lae Island.

Abstract

The phenomenon of child marriage is a social event that must be taken seriously because it greatly affects the lives of adolescents entering adulthood. Wajo Regency is included in the three main areas in South Sulawesi province with a high rate of child marriage under 16 years old with more than 23 cases, namely Bone, Wajo, and Soppeng Regencies. This article aims to find out the causes of child marriage in the Wajo regency area and build awareness of the dangers of child marriage. The method used is a literature study obtained from books and scientific articles that are in accordance with the research theme. Article data is obtained from various journals and Google Scholar databases. The data analysis technique used is content analysis. The findings of this study are that there are four factors that cause the high rate of child marriage in Wajo Regency, first: cultural stigma attached to society such as early matchmaking; second, the discontinuation of children's education; third, the influence of social media on children; and four, the economic problems of parents. So the importance of the role of parents, schools, communities and the government in anticipating the high rate of child marriage
