Abstract

Factors that significantly impact employee performance include transformational leadership, intrinsic drive at work, and the physical work environment. An employee's level of job happiness is directly correlated to the level of performance they deliver. Using job satisfaction as an intermediary variable, this study aims to examine the impact of transformational leadership, work motivation, and the physical work environment on employee performance at the Belawan Branch of PT. Pelindo Regional 1 (Persero). The 52 participants who made up the sample were all permanent workers of the Belawan Branch of PT. Pelindo Regional 1 (Persero). Descriptive statistics and path analysis were used to analyze the data. Employee performance is positively and significantly impacted by transformational leadership, work motivation, and the physical work environment, according to the research.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of innovation capability, digital competence, and digital transformation on the performance of culinary SMEs in Medan City with self-directed learning as an intervening variable. Using a quantitative approach, 230 samples of culinary SMEs were selected through multistage sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS). The results show that innovation capability, digital competence, and digital transformation have a positive and significant effect on self-directed learning and SME performance. Self-directed learning mediates the influence of digital competence and digital transformation on the performance of SMEs, but does not mediate the influence of innovation capability. This research provides recommendations to improve the performance of culinary SMEs through the development of innovation capabilities, digital competencies, and digital transformation.

Abstract

The important role of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in driving economic growth requires a deep understanding of the factors that influence their performance. The number of samples in this study was 175 respondents, processed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method through the AMOS (Analysis of Moment Structure) program. This research explores the dynamics of entrepreneurial competence and product innovation as the main determinants of SME success. In the context of SMEs that have survived for two years in Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi, this research reveals that increasing entrepreneurial competence has a positive impact on business performance. Simultaneously, effective product innovation is proven to make a significant contribution to superior business outcomes. This study also highlights the mediating role of the market environment, demonstrating its influence on the relationship between entrepreneurial competence, product innovation, and business performance. These findings provide valuable insights for policy makers, educators and business actors who aim to increase the competitiveness and adaptability of SMEs amidst rapid business change.

Abstract

This study aim to explain and analyze the influence of transactional leadership on employee performance through motivation as an intervening variable in PT Wira Duta FiberGlass Deli Serdang. The population of this research data is all employees PT Wira Duta FiberGlass Deli Serdang totaling 46 people and sampling using a census. Data collection methods using questionnaires with SEM Smart PLS software as a data analysis tool. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between transactional leadership on employee performance, transactional leadership on work motivation, work motivation on employee performance, and transactional leadership on employee performance mediated by work motivation. Hopefully PT Wira Duta FiberGlass Deli Serdang can continue to evaluate in improving the leadership system to employees through good and equal contijen rewards, then create an active and passive supervision system that makes employees comfortable in order to provide satisfactory performance for the company

Abstract

Budaya organisasi merupakan faktor fundamental yang menentukan identitas organisasi, efisiensi operasional, dan keberlanjutan jangka panjang. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep inti, kerangka teoretis, serta implikasi praktis dari budaya organisasi dalam konteks manajemen. Dengan mengkaji berbagai model utama seperti Tiga Tingkatan Budaya Schein, Dimensi Budaya Hofstede, Model Budaya Organisasi Denison, serta Kerangka Nilai Bersaing Cameron & Quinn, penelitian ini mengungkap bagaimana budaya organisasi mempengaruhi gaya kepemimpinan, proses pengambilan keputusan, motivasi karyawan, serta kinerja organisasi secara keseluruhan. Budaya organisasi yang kuat dan adaptif mampu mendorong inovasi, meningkatkan keterlibatan karyawan, serta mendukung keselarasan strategis, sehingga membuat organisasi lebih tangguh dalam menghadapi perubahan eksternal dan tekanan kompetitif. Selain itu, studi ini menegaskan bahwa budaya organisasi memiliki peran krusial dalam membentuk standar etika, pola komunikasi, serta efektivitas dalam mengelola perubahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa membangun budaya organisasi yang positif dan fleksibel merupakan kunci utama dalam mencapai kesuksesan organisasi yang berkelanjutan di tengah dinamika lingkungan bisnis yang semakin kompleks.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji secara mendalam model kerja hibrida (Hybrid Working Model/HWM) sebagai respons strategis terhadap perubahan besar dalam konfigurasi kerja modern. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif konseptual berbasis tinjauan literatur integratif, studi ini mensintesiskan berbagai teori organisasi dan psikologi kerja, seperti Teori Sistem Sosioteknis, Self-Determination Theory, dan Teori Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa model kerja hibrida menawarkan fleksibilitas, otonomi, dan efisiensi, tetapi juga menimbulkan tantangan seperti stres digital, bias kedekatan, serta kesenjangan dalam kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi. Artikel ini menekankan pentingnya desain hibrida yang inklusif dan adaptif serta perlunya transformasi budaya dan kepemimpinan agar kerja hibrida dapat berkelanjutan. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis dan praktis terhadap pengembangan sistem kerja masa depan yang berkelanjutan, tangguh, dan berpusat pada manusia.

Abstract

Dalam konteks percepatan transformasi digital, infrastruktur digital telah muncul sebagai pendukung dasar inovasi, kelincahan, dan kinerja organisasi. Namun, penelitian ilmiah tentang infrastruktur digital masih terfragmentasi, dengan ketidakkonsistenan dalam definisi konseptual, indikator pengukuran, dan aplikasi kontekstual. Studi ini menyajikan tinjauan konseptual yang komprehensif tentang infrastruktur digital dengan memeriksa dasar-dasar teoritisnya, mensintesis temuan-temuan empiris utama, mengidentifikasi kesenjangan penelitian yang kritis, dan mengusulkan seperangkat indikator yang terstruktur untuk penilaian di masa depan. Berdasarkan teori-teori multidisiplin-termasuk Resource-Based View, kerangka kerja Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE), dan Teori Sistem Sosioteknis-makalah ini mengembangkan sebuah model konseptual yang menghubungkan faktor-faktor pendukung: kepemimpinan digital, dan budaya organisasi dengan dimensi infrastruktur digital dan hasil yang diharapkan: inovasi, penyampaian layanan, kinerja. Model ini didukung oleh hipotesis yang dapat diuji dan rekomendasi kebijakan praktis yang bertujuan untuk memandu penelitian akademis dan implementasi di dunia nyata. Dengan menawarkan kerangka kerja integratif dan indikator standar, penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman yang lebih koheren mengenai infrastruktur digital dan perannya dalam mendorong transformasi digital yang berkelanjutan di berbagai konteks organisasi.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of Skill Upgrade, Social Support, and Job Characteristics on employee performance, with job satisfaction as a moderating variable at Puskesmas Hamparan Perak. Using a quantitative approach, the study involved 100 civil servant samples. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS). The results indicate that Skill Upgrade, Social Support, and Job Characteristics have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and employee performance. Job satisfaction mediates the influence of Skill Upgrade, Social Support, and Job Characteristics. This study provides recommendations to enhance employee performance through Skill Upgrade, Social Support, and Job Characteristics.

Abstract

The performance of plantation employees has become an important issue in today’s modern and digital era, considering the declining interest of younger generations in working in the plantation sector, particularly in tapping positions. This study aims to analyze the influence of self-efficacy, job conditions, and employee retention on the performance of plantation employees through work discipline at PT Socfindo Labuhanbatu Utara. This research is an associative quantitative study with a population consisting of all plantation employees at PT Socfindo Aek Pamingke, totaling 979 employees. The sample used consists of 284 employees selected through non-probability sampling using an incidental sampling approach, with the criterion that employees must have worked for at least 10 years. Data analysis was conducted using structural equation modeling (SEM) with the assistance of Smart PLS software. The results show that self-efficacy has a direct positive and significant effect on employee performance, but a negative and insignificant effect on work discipline. Job conditions have a significant negative effect on both employee performance and work discipline. Employee retention has a significant positive effect on both employee performance and work discipline. Moreover, work discipline itself has a significant positive effect on employee performance. Indirectly, self-efficacy and job conditions do not have a significant effect on performance through work discipline, whereas employee retention has a significant.

Abstract

Program Indonesia Pintar (PIP) merupakan upaya pemerintah dalam mendukung akses pendidikan bagi pelajar dari keluarga miskin atau rentan miskin melalui bantuan tunai. Namun, rendahnya tingkat literasi keuangan di kalangan pelajar menyebabkan penggunaan dana PIP tidak selalu sesuai tujuan, sehingga kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan pelajar dalam mengelola dana bantuan secara bijak. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan sosialisasi literasi keuangan yang diberikan kepada 42 pelajar penerima PIP di SMP Negeri 2 Tanjung Morawa. Metode yang digunakan mencakup tiga tahap: persiapan, pemberian materi, dan evaluasi, dengan pendekatan pre-test dan post-test guna mengukur efektivitas peningkatan literasi keuangan. Materi sosialisasi mencakup pemahaman dasar tentang Dana PIP dan penggunaannya, pentingnya menabung, serta cara menyusun anggaran sederhana dari dana PIP. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan terhadap tingkat literasi keuangan pelajar setelah kegiatan berlangsung, dengan proporsi pelajar dalam kategori literasi tinggi meningkat dari 67,4% menjadi 86%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi literasi keuangan merupakan strategi efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pelajar dalam mengelola bantuan pendidikan secara bertanggung jawab. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat diadopsi oleh instansi pendidikan lainnya dan diperluas cakupannya untuk mencakup guru dan orang tua demi mendukung keberhasilan Program Indonesia Pintar secara menyeluruh
