Abstract

Fertilizer subsidy policy is one of the fiscal policies that aims to support the agricultural sector by providing input subsidies in the form of setting HET for fertilizer. This policy is implemented based on six indicators of success, namely the right type, quantity, price, quality, place, and time. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the fertilizer subsidy policy based on six precise indicators that determine the success of fertilizer subsidies and to analyze the relationship between the effectiveness of the fertilizer subsidy policy and the level of fertilizer use. The technique used to identify respondents in this study was purposive sampling. The number of samples used were 30 respondents. Test instruments in this study used validity and reliability tests while the relationship between effectiveness and the level of fertilizer use was analyzed using the Rank Spearmen Correlation test. The results showed that the fertilizer subsidy policy that was implemented in Curug Village, Klari District, Karawang Regency was quite effective. The results of the analysis of the relationship between the effectiveness of the fertilizer subsidy policy and the level of fertilizer use do not have a positive correlation (correlation) with a correlation coefficient of 0.316 which is included in the weak category.

Abstract

Abstract

Increasing coffee consumption in Indonesia provides opportunities for the coffee processing industry. CV Toean Koffie is one of the companies in Karawang Regency engaged in coffee processing, which is involved in providing added value and brand branding, the product is known as Koffie Hideung. The supply of coffee beans for Koffie Hideung production is supplied by the farmer communities on the Sanggabuana Mountains in Karawang. The supply chain flow of Koffie Hideung products starts from the farmer level as a supplier to product marketing to consumers. The supply chain concept basically has interconnected aspects including the flow of goods, financial flow, and information flow which will determine the continuity of the supply chain performance mechanism properly. Good supply chain performance is determined by the role of the supply chain members involved. This study aims to analyze the supply chain conditions of Koffie Hideung products using the Food Supply Chain Network (FSCN) model. Based on the results of the analysis, the Food Supply Chain Network (FSCN) model includes 6 aspects consisting of, supply chain structure, supply chain objectives, resources involved, business processes in the supply chain, supply chain management, and supply chain performance. The supply chain structure of Koffie Hideung products involves a certain process from the production of coffee beans in farmers, the manufacturing process by CV Toean Koffie, distribution, to the final consumption by customers.

Abstract

This paper discusses the importance of integrating ethics and morals in educational communication to create a harmonious and meaningful learning environment, and support the formation of student character. Ethics that include values such as honesty, responsibility, and openness, and morals that emphasize honesty, patience, and compassion, are the main foundations of interactions in schools. The application of these values not only improves the quality of learning, but also helps shape students who are moral, ethical, and responsible in their social lives. The learning process that focuses on the integration of ethics and morals ensures that education does not only pursue academic achievement, but also supports character development. Communication patterns based on moral principles create a fair, empathetic, and respectful classroom atmosphere, strengthening relationships between teachers, students, and between students. However, modern challenges such as shifting social values and academic pressures can be obstacles to the application of ethics and morals. With the right approach and shared commitment, these obstacles can be overcome, so as to form a generation that is not only academically superior, but also has strong morals and ethics to contribute positively to society.

Abstract

In this study, the impact of compressor washing on improving the performance and engine life of a turbofan engine is analyzed. The purpose of this research is to determine the outcomes resulting from the compressor wash treatment, as well as the patterns and characteristics of engine deterioration rates in each block cycle following the wash. It also aims to identify the optimal timing for conducting a compressor wash to achieve the most favorable results and maximize the on-wing life of the engine. This research was conducted using an analytical method, which involved analyzing the data received from the Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) to assess the influence of engine performance and deterioration characteristics on the conducted compressor wash. One set of temperature margin data analyzed reveals the benefits of washing in terms of the turbine gas temperature (TGT) margin. It shows a 7°C increase in the TGT margin, indicating improved performance, but a 3.1°C decrease in the unrecoverable margin. Furthermore, the analysis of the margin data per 100 cycles indicates that the rate of deterioration is steeper during the initial 300 cycles compared to the subsequent cycles. Based on these findings, it is recommended to conduct the compressor washing process at around 300 cycles to maximize engine life and achieve enhanced efficiency.
