Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of leadership style and work discipline on the performance of members of the East Kalimantan Police's drug investigation directorate, both directly and indirectly. This type of research is quantitative. The software used in this research is Smart PLS. The subjects in this study were members of the East Kalimantan Police's drug investigation directorate, totaling 46 respondents. Resultsl Research shows that leadership influences job satisfaction. Work discipline affects job satisfaction. Leadership affects performance. Work discipline affects performance. Job satisfaction affects performance. Leadership influences performance through job satisfaction. Work discipline affects performance through job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work environment, work discipline and motivation on job satisfaction of teachers of SMK Negeri 2 Balikpapan. This research method is quantitative with the determination of the number of samples in this study using purposive sampling with ASN criteria as many as 73 people. Data were collected through interviews, and Likert scale based questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using SEM-PLS with Smart-PLS and SPSS applications. The outer model was tested for construct validity and reliability, while the inner model measured the relationship between variables with the R-square value and the t-statistic hypothesis test. The results show the composite reliability and Cronbach's Alpha values averaged above 0.70, indicating good reliability. The R-square value of 0.796 or 79.6% shows that the variables of work environment, work discipline, and motivation on job satisfaction are 0.786 or 78.6%. Hypothesis testing shows that work environment, work discipline and work motivation have a significant effect on job satisfaction with a p-value <0.05. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended to be able to maintain a good work environment, work discipline and work motivation in order to increase employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

Financial management training in Argomulyo Village, Sepaku District, North Penajam Paser Regency. The article aims to provide understanding and improve the skills of the MSME group regarding calculating, recording, bookkeeping and managing business finances so that their businesses can develop further, thereby having an impact on increasing the skills of the Argomulyo Village MSME group regarding calculations and recording. and bookkeeping and financial management so as to improve MSME business and have an impact on increasing competitiveness and community welfare. This activity was carried out through training and mentoring, starting with a survey of training participants which showed that the majority of MSME owners had not separated business assets from personal assets. Training is carried out by providing worksheets that have been designed to be filled out by training participants so that participants can use them to record and calculate each participant's business finances. It is hoped that the results of the training can improve business financial management skills better. Based on the calculations they prepare during the training, they can be examples for participants to carry out in their business practices and they can also determine selling prices, develop investment plans and increase appropriate sources of funds so that they are expected to have an impact on increasing income and developing the business to be more advanced.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the Effect of Motivation, Work Discipline and Work Environment on Job Satisfaction at PT. Agung Samudra Cruise in Balikpapan. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires with the number of respondents as many as 40 employees of PT. Great Ocean Voyage, this research method uses quantitative methods. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling techniques. Statistical tests and data processing were carried out using Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS program version 3.0. The results showed that the Work Environment variable had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction while the motivation and Work Discipline variables had no effect on job satisfaction.

Abstract

Real Work Lecture is a community service by going directly to the field carried out by lecturers and students. In carrying out service to Suko Mulyo Village, a strengthening of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Sales of Lettuce Chips Products was carried out. The purpose of this service is to provide understanding and knowledge to Mrs. PKK's partners about selling lettuce raw materials into lettuce chips. This devotion is carried out by selling lettuce chip products.

Abstract

Communities in the telagasari environment need to carry out environmental greening activities to maintain environmental quality and protection. This activity method is carried out using persuasive approaches, emipric, normatic and educational approaches, and androgogy approaches with the aim of increasing community participation and KKN students in environmental greening activities. Greening activities are carried out through planting trees and providing knowledge and understanding to the community about the importance of preserving the environment. By increasing water absorption and supporting activities that can improve environmental quality, it can prevent flooding and make the environment beautiful and shady.

Abstract

Sumber Rejo Village has variants of potential tourist attractions such as the natural environment which is used as an educational tourism managed by the community with the nickname Kang Bejo, namely the kale village in Sumber Rejo Village, the cultural life of the community is full of values, norms, and customs, so that it makes Sumber Rejo Village worthy of being an important part of tourism activities, especially in the city of Balikpapan. Tourists prefer their friendly visits to nature and local people such as farming, farming and gardening, in the hope of improving cleanliness, accommodation, safety, and comfort. The change in the motivation of tourists who pay more attention to health aspects, prefer cleanliness, accommodation quality, maximum security, and increased comfort is very much in line with the conditions of tourist villages. Tourism villages consistently offer unique and interesting experiences, natural beauty and the nobility of the culture of their people which are depicted through hospitality, politeness, cleanliness, security, and comfort.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mempengetahui Pengaruh Kompensasi, Komunikasi, dan Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Pegawai Dinas Kesehatan Kota Balikpapan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuesioner  dengan jumlah Populasi  sebanyak  82 pegawai Dinas Kesehatan Kota Balikpapan. Sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik sensus dan teknik pengujian data yang digunakan dalam penelitian menggunakan  analisis regresi linear berganda dan uji hipotesis penelitian. Analisis data pada penelitian menggunakan bantuan SPSS. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan kompensasi, komunikasi, dan Motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai Dinas Kesehatan Kota Balikpapan. Secara parsial kompensasi, komunikasi, dan Motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Pada penelitian ini Motivasi Kerja berpengaruh dominan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai Dinas Kesehatan Kota Balikpapan.

Abstract

As an effort to face various challenges and developments in the situation, both at home and abroad, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) made fundamental changes by giving broad, real and responsible authority to the regions proportionallyThe purpose of this study is to find out how the role of Sukageri View tourism in increasing Village Government Revenue and the welfare of the people of Cisantana Village, and what are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of Sukageri View tourism. The research method uses a qualitative approach by presenting data in the form of descriptions. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with informants, including the Cisantana Village Government, local Cisantana Village communities, tourism managers, and visitors. The results showed that the existence of Sukageri View tourism was able to play a role in increasing the Original Income of the Village Government and the welfare of the people of Cisantana Village. This is evidenced by the increasing income from the tourism sector and awareness of education from the public and increasing people's purchasing power. The main strengths of this tourism are natural beauty, dry land weakness, tourism opportunities with the concept of ecotourism, and the threat of new tourism presence in Cisantana Village
