Abstract

This research aims to determine the direct influence of work discipline and motivation variables on the performance of Balikpapan city transportation service employees, as well as to determine the indirect effect of work discipline on performance with motivation as a mediating variable for Balikpapan city transportation service employees. This research used a sample of 53 respondents with a questionnaire data collection method and analysis tools assisted by PLS software. The results show that (1) work discipline directly has a positive and significant effect on the motivation and performance of Balikpapan city transportation service employees; (2) motivation directly has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Balikpapan city transportation service employees; (3) Indirectly, work discipline influences the performance of transportation service employees by mediating motivation

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran pengabdian pada masyarakat prioritas untuk memajukan perubahan lingkungan keberlanjutan pada upaya peningkatan kinerja usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM). Dengan pengabdian masyarakat di harapkan terdapat perubahan yang signifikan dan terdapat pengaruh positif pada lingkungan wilayah Balikpapan Tengan dalam meningkatkan kinerja keberlanjutan UMKM. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dimaksudkan untuk menyempurnakan dan mengembangkan sistem penganalisisan keuangan UMKM dengan menggunakan SiApik . Si Apik adalah sistem yang dikembangan oleh Bank Indonesia Untuk Membantu UMKM dalam mememudahkan pelaporan keuangan demi keberlanjutan pengembangan Usahanya.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja, Motivasi, dan Disiplin Kerja secara parsial terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan data primer. Sampel penelitian ini adalah Karyawan SevenSix Hotel Balikpapan yang berjumlah 37 karyawan dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh. Metode analisis data menggunakan model regresi linear berganda dengan metode PLS (Partial Least Square) yang pengolahan dan penyajian datanya dilakukan dengan menggunkan software Smart-PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja, dan disiplin kerja secara parsial memiliki hubungan positif dan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan SevenSix Hotel Balikpapan namun motivasi secara parsial memiliki hubungan positif dan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan SevenSix Hotel Balikpapan

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership, communication, and discipline on job satisfaction at the office of the Regional Disaster Management Agency of North Penajam Paser Regency. The type of research used is quantitative research. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling with a population of 74 employees, so the sample taken in this study at the office of the Regional Disaster Management Agency of North Penajam Paser Regency amounted to 46 employees who would be used as a research sample size. The data collection method was carried out by distributing questionnaires. This study uses multiple linear regression with the help of SmartPLS in processing data. The results of this study indicate that the leadership variable affects job satisfaction at the North Penajam Paser Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency office, the training variable affects job satisfaction at the North Penajam Paser Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency office, and the discipline variable affects job satisfaction at the North Penajam Paser Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency office.

Abstract

The study intends to explore the interaction between work environment and work discipline on employee performance in Perumda Tirta Manuntung, Balikpapan City, where work motivation serves as the mediating variable. Employee performance is a particular concern due to its importance in maintaining clean water services. This research applies quantitative analysis with an explanation of the design and involves 104 permanent employees chosen by purposive sampling. The data were collected through the use of a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed by means of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) in the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results show that the work environment and work discipline affect work motivation and employee performance directly and indirectly (through motivation as a mediator). A favorable work environment improves comfort and enthusiasm, and a workplace that enforces discipline improves commitment and efficiency. Work motivation has a strong binding role to these relationships. Thus, it is concluded that to optimize employee performance, Perumda Tirta Manuntung should create an enabling environment for work, practice a work discipline that is fair to all, and enhance work motivation through a reward system. Recommendations include the need to improve work conditions like physical facilities, promote better interpersonal communication, and conduct some training for the improvement of disciplines and motivation. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of motivation, compensation, and work discipline on employee job satisfaction at PT Indo Muro Kencana Palangkaraya. This research uses a quantitative approach. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression with the assistance of SmartPLS software, and the sampling technique applied is simple random sampling with a total of 70 respondents. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data processing was conducted using SmartPLS. The results of the study indicate that the motivation variable has a partial influence on employee job satisfaction at PT Indo Muro Kencana Palangkaraya. However, the compensation and work discipline variables do not have a partial influence on employee job satisfaction at the same company.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Work Environment, Work Discipline, and Compensation on Teacher Job Satisfaction at SMP Negeri 11 Balikpapan. The study methodology applied is a quantitative study. This study uses purposive sampling, with a sample size of 65 individuals, consisting of 50 ASN individuals and 15 non-ASN individuals, which has a total sample of 50 ASN teachers at SMP Negeri 11 Balikpapan. The data collection method uses questionnaires. This study utilizes multiple linear regression as the analysis method and uses SmartPLS in data processing. The findings of this study indicate that work environment variables have an influence on the partial context on teacher job satisfaction at SMP Negeri 11 Balikpapan, while work discipline and compensation variables do not have an influence on the partial context on teacher job satisfaction.

Abstract

This research uses a quantitative approach. The analysis tool employed is multiple linear regression, processed using SmartPLS software. The sampling technique used is census sampling with a total of 72 respondents from the university's educational staff. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires.The results of this study indicate that the leadership variable has a partial influence on the job satisfaction of educational staff at the University of Balikpapan. The motivation variable also has a partial influence on job satisfaction. However, the work environment variable does not have a partial influence on the job satisfaction of educational staff at the University of Balikpapan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the Influence of Leadership, Work Discipline, and Employee Work Environment at PT. Lima Dara Balikpapan. The type of research used is Quantitative research. The sampling technique in this study is saturated/census sampling with a sample of 50 employees of PT.Lima Dara Balikpapan. The data collection method was carried out by distributing questionnaires. This study uses SmartPLS in managing data. The results of this study show that leadership variables have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PT. Lima Dara Balikpapan, the Work Discipline variable has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PT. Lima Dara Balikpapan, and the variables of the Work Environment have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at PT. Lima Dara Balikpapan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Return on Assets, Current Ratio, and Sales Growth on financial distress in companies in the tourism and recreation sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the post-COVID-19 recovery period (2022–2024).This research uses a quantitative approach with a purposive sampling technique. The final sample consists of 75 observational data. The data analysis method used in this study is logistic regression analysis using IBM SPSS version 24. Originality/Novelty: The novelty of this research lies in its analytical focus on the tourism and recreation sector during the post-pandemic recovery period of 2022–2024, which has been relatively underexplored empirically. This study also integrates three key financial indicators to predict financial distress conditions. The results indicate that Return on Assets (ROA) and Sales Growth (SG) have no significant effect on financial distress. Meanwhile, Current Ratio (CR) partially has a significant effect. Simultaneously, ROA, CR, and SG have a significant effect on financial distress.: These findings indicate the importance of liquidity in maintaining corporate financial stability during the post-pandemic period and provide a reference for corporate management and investors in more accurately identifying distress risks
