Abstract

Stunting merupakan salah satu hambatan dalam proses tumbuh kembang anak. World Health Organization (WHO) mendefinisikan stunting sebagai gangguan tumbuh kembang yang dialami oleh anak akibat dari gizi buruk, infeksi berulang, dan stimulasi psikosisial yang tidak memadai. Berdasarkan data dari Kementrian Kesehatan, pada tahun 2021 angka Stunting yang ada di Jawa Timur mencapai 23,5%. Kemudian Kabupaten Mojokerto sendiri memiliki prelevansi stunting sebesar 30.5%. Hal ini membuat Pemerintah Kabupaten Mojokerto menetapkan stunting dalam rencana pembangunan jangka menengah nasional dan menargetkan penurunan angka stunting sebesar 14%. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini merupakan bentuk implementasi program kerja Kuliah Kerja Nyata Tematik MBKM kelompok 101 di Desa Bandarasri, Kecamatan Ngoro, Mojokerto dengan tujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai pentingnya pemberian ASI dan MPASI untuk mencegah stunting. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori sosialisasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi yang meliputi tiga tahapan, yakni persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil dari sosialisasi ini adalah sebanyak 82,5% Responden mengaku telah rutin memberikan ASI serta pemberian MPASI pada anak usia 6 bulan dan mencari tahu informasi mengenai ASI-MPASI menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta sosialisasi telah memahami pentingnya pemberian ASI dan MP-ASI, hal ini sejalan dengan tujuan diadakannya sosialisasi tersebut.

Abstract

The use of digital technology which is still low and the lack of knowledge in utilizing branding efforts as an effort to introduce products to consumers are still obstacles faced by UMKM Berkah Soybean Crackers. UMKM Kerupuk Soybean Berkah only focuses on product trading but still has not implemented good product branding. UMKM business actors have not fully implemented digital marketing by utilizing social media so that they do not support the expansion and market reach of the products they produce. LPPM lecturers and KKN students collaborated in the Community Service Innovation Program which was carried out by holding training and socialization activities related to product branding strategies and the use of digital marketing in supporting business stability and reaching a wider market. The implementation method is carried out offline which is offered by business actors and some of their workers. The results of the community service activities obtained by UMKM business participants are satisfied with the material presented and increasing awareness of the importance of using product branding as the spearhead of the products produced as well as training in making logos as a product branding effort by practicing directly has increased the ability to make attractive product branding in accordance with the wishes so as to create consumer loyalty to the products produced

Abstract

East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa officially imposed the termination of PSBB Surabaya Raya on June 8, 2020. The decision based on the agreement of three leaders of the Greater Surabaya region (Surabaya, Sidoarjo, and Gresik). The agreement to stop the PSBB caused controversy in the community because, based on statistics, the definite number of COVID-19 cases is still very high in the three regions. It is still not feasible to stop the PSBB. This study uses the analysis method of Framing Pan and Kosicki by basing on a constructive paradigm and media representation. This method assumes that every news has a frame that functions as the center of organizational ideas. News in both media has not fully used the elements of 5H and 1H and display photos that are not following the news contents. As a result, suarasurabaya.net mostly constructs the existence of East Java Governor's disapproval of the termination of the PSBB policy in Greater Surabaya based on one source. Whereas Kompas.com is more multi-perspective, displaying reasons for the termination of PSBB because of many display sources of interviews.

Abstract

This study proves that Surabaya students have high trust in the Instagram account @surabaya as a source of information. The @surabaya account is an official instagran account belonging to the Public Relations of the Surabaya City Government which provides information, entertainment, knowledge, development of education, food and tourism in the city of Surabaya. This study uses the theory of Uses and Gratifications. The classification of motives is used according to McQuail's motive categories: Information Motive, Personal Identity Motive, Integration Motive and Social Interaction, and Entertainment Motive. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The population of this research is Surabaya students who access the @surabaya account with an age limit of 18-25 years. Determination of sampling in the study using purposive sampling technique, namely taking samples from certain considerations. The results showed that the percentage of the four motives (information, personal identity, integration, and social interaction) was high. This means that Surabaya students consider the Instagram account @surabaya as a reliable source of information about the ins and outs of the city of Surabaya.

Abstract

Communication and development are two things that cannot be opened and are closelyrelated. One sector that requires a special touch of development communication is the agriculturalsector. This study was to determine the communication strategy of Field Agricultural Extension indisseminating innovations in dryland rice cultivation to farmer groups in Jatigreges Village, PaceDistrict, Nganjuk Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data in thisstudy were collected by interview, observation and documentation. Then it is processed usingHafied Cangara's Five-Step communication strategy theory and the Innovation Diffusion Theorycreated by Everett M. Rogers. The results showed that the Field Agricultural Extension did thecommunication stages, namely research, planning, implementation, measurement, and reporting.The communication strategy implemented by PPL was relatively successful because 89.7% of thetargets for the implementation of the innovation program for rice cultivation were in dry land. This isbecause an innovation program contains important points from the theory of diffusion of innovation,namely, compatibility, complexity, testability, and observability.

Abstract

One of the variations of contemporary digital advertising is that it contains a description of a society's cultural traditions and local wisdom. Besides aiming to convey a product or service message, the advertisement also aims to promote regional cultural tourism as the advertisement "Delivery Sustainable Tourism" made by the Ministry of Tourism and the Creative Economic of Indonesia. This study aims to determine how the Delivery Sustainable Tourism advertisement on Youtube constructs cultural traditions and local wisdom in Indonesia. This qualitative research uses John Fiske's semiotic analysis method, which categorizes the signs in advertisements into three levels: the level of reality, the level of representation, and the ideology level. The results show traditional constructions and Indonesian local wisdom, including Indonesian hospitality represented by Javanese ethnicity; traditional arts represented by wayang kulit, masks art, and kecak dance; and worship activities represented by Balinese ethnicity. This research concludes that digital advertising constructs the cultural traditions and local wisdom of Javanese and Balinese ethnicities into a representation of cultural realities in Indonesian society with cultural diversity.

Abstract

Exposure to toxic positivity content uploads on Instagram during the pandemic has motivated some Gen Z to act hustle. This research uses a virtual ethnographic approach to see digital interactions, media-making processes, and individual motivation in interpreting toxic positivity content on Instagram, which can build Gen Z Surabaya to act hustle. This research shows that there are factors in the scope of friendship, frame of reference, field experience, to family in building motivation to act hustle through consumed toxic positivity content. It can be concluded that Instagram is a medium for the media-making process of turning content into an action that can affect the lives of its users.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi semakin berkembang. Salah satu pemanfaatan teknologi informasi untuk pengembangan pondok pesantren adalah website. Website adalah kumpulan halaman-halaman web yang saling berhubungan satu sama lain, halaman pertama dari sebuah website adalah halaman muka, sedangkan halaman demi halaman secara mandiri disebut halaman web, dengan kata lain website adalah situs yang dapat diakses. dan dilihat oleh pengguna internet di seluruh dunia. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif analitis dengan metode kualitatif dari menu yang terdapat pada website sistem informasi dalam bentuk desain yang akan dikembangkan oleh pondok pesantren MaQis Al-hamidy 4. Website digunakan untuk membuatnya lebih mudah mendapatkan informasi. Website ini dibangun dengan hosting di situs wordpress.com karena lebih mudah mendesain website yang sederhana namun bermakna. Dalam pembuatan contoh website menggunakan Wordpress dengan memberikan bantuan profil website kepada pengurus pondok pesantren MaQis Al – Hamidy 4 untuk mengetahui dan memahami cara menggunakan website serta untuk memudahkan sebagai dakwah dalam penyampaian kajian agama berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

Many people choose social media as a source of information that is considered the fastest and most up-to-date without knowing its credibility for sure. In the post-truth era, social media has shifted the power of logic and facts, and often the information on it is considered true. This study aims to gain an understanding of the credibility of information uploaded by the Twitter account @AREAJULID. By using a virtual ethnography approach. This qualitative research explores the existence of a phenomenon of attraction between the influence of information speed and information credibility. The results of the search on the @AREAJULID account show that many followers of the account have the assumption that the speed of content uploaded by @AREAJULID makes it a trusted source of information. They even disseminate the information by retweeting and sharing the link on other social media channels such as Facebook, TikTok and WhatsApp. The followers' actions ignore the existence of the Electronic Information and Transaction Law. The post-truth era makes the @AREAJULID account a credible source of information precisely because of the speed of uploading and not because of the truth of the information. Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas analisis framing berita polemik bisnis PCR dan Antigen yang ada di Indonesia pada media online Detik.com dan Kompas.com periode November 2021. Paradigma yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu paradigma konstruktivis dengan menggunakan metode analisis framing Robert N. Entman yang memiliki teknik analisis yaitu pendefinisian masalah (define problems), memperkirakan sumber-sumber masalah (diagnose causes), membuat keputusan moral (make moral judgement), dan memberikan penyelesaian (treatment recommendation). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa diantara Detik.com dan Kompas.com membingkai peristiwa yang sama yaitu terkait polemik bisnis PCR dan Antigen secara berbeda. Pada portal berita Detik.com lebih banyak menampilkan berita-berita terkait penolakan atas tuduhan tentang isu bisnis PCR atau antigen yang terjadi pada pemerintahan, sehingga Detik.com terkesan berpihak pada pemerintah karena kurangnya kenetralan dalam menyajikan sebuah pemberitaan. Berbanding terbalik dengan portal berita online Kompas.com dalam menyajikan sebuah berita terkait isu polemik bisnis PCR atau antigen, karena Kompas.com lebih mengkritik pemerintah terkait isu bisnis PCR dan antigen. Sehingga Kompas.com memiliki opini tersendiri terhadap pemerintah dalam menangani isu yang tersebar dalam masyarakat Indonesia.
