Abstract

This study aims to determine planning in the application of virtual communication, the economic learning process in virtual communication, the inhibiting and supporting factors for the implementation of virtual communication in economics class X SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak. This research method uses a qualitative research type of case study research. The data sources for this research were an economics teacher and four. Data collection techniques are by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the virtual communication media at SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak is using the smanpul e-learningapplication with teacher learning planning making online lesson plans, learning modules, student worksheets which are uploaded in the smanpul e-learning application. In the learning process the teacher starts from the opening activity by praying, being absent and conveying the learning objectives. The teacher's core activities direct to opening the material, studying the material and analyzing the material. closing activities the teacher concludes the material, evaluates the material. Inhibiting factors are lack of mastery of information technology, lack of internet network and no notifications in the smanpul e-learning application. The supporting factors are support from school principals, teachers, students and the school's need for educator- certified teachers.

Abstract

The study aims to study the impact of compensation, work discipline, and motivation on employee performance, with motivation as an intervening variable. The study analyzed data from 105 respondents using quantitative approaches and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). In addition, although compensation has a significant impact on work motivation, work discipline also strongly affects work motivations. Work motivation has been shown to mediate the relationship between compensation and employee performance. These findings suggest that in addition to competitive compensation, improving employee discipline and motivation can be an effective strategy for improving performance. The results of this research can serve as a benchmark for managers to formulate more effective compensation policies and develop human resources.

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukan penelitian terhadap kondisi simpang air hitam (flyover) adalah mendapatkan hasil analisis kondisi existing simpang dari beberapa kondisi yaitu pada kondisi normal tanpa perlakuan (Do-Nothing) dan kondisi perlakuan atau pengaturan (Do-Something) dengan 2 alternatif yaitu alternatif 1 dengan pengaturan waktu siklus dan alternatif 2 dengan pengaturan arah belok dan waktu siklus. Dengan adanya revitalisasi Polder Air Hitam tentunya akan berdampak pada tarikan dan bangkitan perjalanan pada kondisi simpang di sekitar Polder Air Hitam, mengingat kawasan Polder Air Hitam tersebut akan akan dijadikan sebagai Kawasan wisata, Creatif Hub Pemuda, kawasan kuliner dan Pusat Olahraga yang tentunya menjadi daya tarik orang untuk mengunjungi kawasan tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode MKJI 1997. Hasil penelitian yaitu kapasitas simpang kondisi existing tanpa perlakuan (Do-Nothing) dihasilkan nilai Derajat Kejenuhan (DS) terbesar adalah arah Selatan dengan nilai DS sebesar 0,98. Kapasitas Simpang existing dengan pengaturan (Do-Something) alternatif 1 dihasilkan nilai Derajat Kejenuhan (DS) berkisar antara 0,78 s.d 0,80 (rata-rata sama), walaupun kinerja yang paling buruk pada arah Barat dengan nilai DS sebesar 0,80. Kapasitas Simpang existing dengan pengaturan (Do-Something) alternatif 2 dihasilkan nilai DS tertinggi pada arah Selatan Belok Kanan (S-RT) sebesar 0,8. Hasil perhitungan kinerja simpang air hitam pada kondisi existing (Do-Nothing) dihasilkan nilai Tingkat pelayanan simpang adalah LOS E yang artinya Unstable flow. Hasil perhitungan kinerja simpang air hitam pada kondisi existing (Do-Something) alternatif 1 dihasilkan nilai tingkat pelayanan simpang adalah LOS D yang artinya Stable flow dan hasil perhitungan kinerja simpang air hitam pada kondisi existing (Do-Something) alternatif 2 dihasilkan nilai tingkat pelayanan simpang adalah LOS C: Stable flow. Sedangkan hasil perhitungan terhadap waktu siklus pada simpang air hitam pada kondisi existing (Do-Nothing) dihasilkan total waktu siklus sebesar 128 detik, waktu siklus pada simpang air hitam pada kondisi existing (Do-Something) alternatif 1 dihasilkan total waktu siklus sebesar 94 detik dan hasil perhitungan terhadap waktu siklus pada simpang air hitam pada kondisi existing (Do-Something) Alternatif 2 dihasilkan total waktu siklus sebesar 130 detik. Penelitian lanjutan adalah melakukan simulasi terhadap kondisi simpang dimasa mendatang untuk melihat kondisinya jika memang rencana Polder Air Hitam dilakukan Revitalisasi oleh Pemerintah Kota Samarinda.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the transformation of tax digitalization: taxpayers' perceptions of the e-system on the quality of tax services. This research is motivated by developments in service systems using internet technology. The method used in this research is quantitative. The data source was obtained from primary data by distributing questionnaires as research instrument material. Sampling was carried out using the purposive sampling method. The number of samples required for this research is 140 respondents who are individual and Corporate Taxpayers at KPP Pratama Purbalingga. The data analysis technique used in the research is Partial Least Square (PLS). Based on the results of the analysis carried out, it was concluded that the taxpayer perception of the e-registration and e-invoicing system has an influence on the quality of tax services, while the taxpayer perception of the e-filing and e-billing system has no influence on the quality of tax services.

Abstract

The use of press machines in stamping is an important aspect of the manufacturing industry, especially in producing efficient and quality components. This article aims to analyze the cost of the stamping process using mild steel SPCC-SD material measuring 200 mm x 25 mm x 0.8 mm, using two types of press machines, namely 80 tons and 40 tons. Through the cost analysis method, the total cost of the stamping process for the 80-ton press machine is Rp 16,417.4 per 10 pcs, while for the 40-ton press machine, it is Rp 15,028.5, indicating the cost efficiency of the 40-ton press machine is around 8.5%. The tonnage calculation shows that the 40-ton press machine is adequate for the blanking process, with a tonnage requirement of 4 tons, far below the available capacity. These results provide recommendations for the use of 40-ton press machines in the production of steel components on a small to medium scale, considering cost efficiency and optimal performance. This work is expected to increase productivity and cost efficiency in the manufacturing industry, especially at PT GA.

Abstract

This investigation focuses on optimizing the sinker electrical discharge machining (sinker-EDM) process parameters for high tensile strength steel (HTSS), specifically SKD-11, utilizing Box-Behnken Response Surface Methodology (BB-RSM). Sinker-EDM is a commonly used technique in manufacturing moulds, dies, and components for sectors like automotive and aerospace. This process eliminates direct contact between the electrode and the workpiece. However, its low material removal rate (MRR) constrains productivity. This research endeavours to enhance MRR by employing rectangular graphite electrodes. The Box-Behnken Response Surface Methodology (BB-RSM) was utilized to evaluate the effects of pulse current, spark-on time, and gap voltage on MRR. The optimal MRR of 45.49 mm³/min was attained at a pulse current of 16 A, spark-on time of 400 µs, and gap voltage of 45 V. ANOVA revealed that pulse current and spark-on time significantly influenced MRR. In contrast, gap voltage had an insignificant impact. Interaction and surface plot analyses confirmed that high pulse current and extended spark-on time resulted in the maximum MRR. These findings provide valuable insights for optimizing the sinker-EDM process for SHTSS, contributing to enhanced productivity and efficiency in manufacturing.

Abstract

This study investigates the optimization of tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding parameters for joining dissimilar metals, specifically ST37 low-carbon steel and SUS 304 stainless steel, using the Taguchi L9 experimental design. The welding parameters evaluated include welding current (45-65 A), tungsten electrode diameter (1.6-2.4 mm), and shielding gas flow rate (12-18 LPM). The aim is to enhance joint integrity and mechanical properties by systematically analyzing the influence of these parameters on hardness and tensile load (TS loads). Hardness testing revealed that the weld zone exhibited the highest hardness, followed by the heat-affected zone and base metal. Tensile testing showed that the highest TS loads of 341 kgf were achieved at 45 A, 1.6 mm electrode diameter, and 12 LPM gas flow rate. Signal-to-noise ratio analysis and analysis of variance (ANOVA) indicated that welding current had the most significant influence on hardness and TS loads, with contributions of 39% and 41.27%, respectively, followed by electrode diameter (17% and 36.42%). In comparison, the gas flow rate had the least impact (45% and 22.31%). However, ANOVA results showed that none of the factors exhibited statistical significance (P > 0.05). The findings contribute to the field of welding engineering by providing optimized TIG welding parameters for ST37-SUS 304 joints, enhancing their reliability in various industrial applications such as automotive manufacturing, oil and gas, and power generation, where durable and corrosion-resistant welds are crucial.

Abstract

Crank arm adalah komponen penghubung pedal sepeda dengan poros tengah yang berfungsi mentransfer tenaga dari kaki pengendara ke drivetrain. Biasanya, crank arm kanan dilengkapi dengan chainring, sedangkan crank arm kiri terhubung langsung ke poros. Panjang standar crank arm berkisar antara 165–175 mm, yang harus disesuaikan dengan ukuran tubuh pengendara untuk kenyamanan optimal. Dalam olahraga bersepeda, efisiensi energi dan performa crank arm menjadi perhatian utama. Material seperti aluminium 6061-T6 sering digunakan karena ringan dan kuat. Namun, desain yang ada masih menghadapi tantangan, seperti distribusi tegangan yang tidak merata dan adanya material berlebih di area tertentu. Oleh karena itu, teknik optimasi topologi dan analisis kelelahan dapat digunakan untuk merancang crank arm yang lebih ringan, kuat, dan tahan lama dengan distribusi material yang lebih efisien. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah, melalui pendekatan perhitungan beban pedal dengan beberapa variasi sudut kemiringan, yaitu 15°–90°, dapat ditemukan variasi beban ketika dikayuh. Beban terberat dijadikan standar untuk optimasi topologi. Dari hasil simulasi menggunakan ANSYS, optimasi topologi menghasilkan empat iterasi varian desain topologi. Keempat varian desain tersebut dibuat menjadi alternatif desain baru menggunakan SolidWorks. Salah satu varian desain yang dipilih memiliki berat 243 gram, lebih ringan 98 gram dibandingkan desain eksisting. Hasil analisis menunjukkan stress sebesar 128,89 MPa, masih berada di bawah yield strength material. Untuk hasil fatigue life, desain ini memiliki siklus 4,36 × 10⁶ dengan faktor keamanan (SOF) 1,22. Siklus ini berlaku jika beban maksimum menyentuh 1.737,19 N dengan stress 128,89 MPa. Jika beban maksimum tersebut tidak tercapai, desain ini akan tetap aman secara permanen karena berada pada tingkat stress terendah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh komitmen dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PDAM Kota Makassar. Kinerja Karyawan merupakan isu yang menarik untuk diangkat, karena akan mempengaruhi kinerja perusahaan secara keseluruhan. Populasi penelitian adalah karyawan yang ada di kantor PDAM Kota Makassar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh komitmen dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja. Teknik sampling yang digunakan ialah metode Slovin. Teknik analisis data digunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komitmen dan budaya organisasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja. Kata Kunci: komitmen dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan

Abstract

This simulation aims to evaluate the stress, deformation, and strain values of the crane hook structure to ensure safe load handling and prevent functional failure. In this study, AISI 1015, AISI 1035, and alloy steel casing materials were tested, along with two different hook designs: trapezoidal and circular. The trapezoidal design had base dimensions of 34.50 mm and 58.00 mm, with a top surface area of 55.00 mm and a radius of 10.00 mm. The circular design has a diameter of 58.00 mm. Simulations were carried out using SolidWorks on AISI 1015 with Mass 10 tons, stress 279.68 N/mm², displacement 0.61 mm. on AISI 1035: Mass 12 tons, stress 310.11 N/mm², displacement 0.61 mm. on Alloy steel with Mass 8.5 tons, stress 236.87 N/mm², displacement 0.59 mm. For circular design on AISI 1015 with a mass of 9.5 tons, stress 279.69 N/mm², displacement 0.57 mm. on AISI 1035 with a mass of 10 tons, stress 310.25 N/mm², displacement 0.76 mm. Alloy steel with a mass of 8 tons, stress 237.28 N/mm², displacement 0.55 mm. Each material exhibits different mechanical characteristics, which affect stress, deformation and strain. Based on the results, the AISI 1035 material with a circular design supports a maximum load of 9.5 tons, achieving a safety factor of 1.68, which is close to the minimum threshold of 1.8 for safe operation.
