Abstract

Goldfish (Carassius auratus) is an ornamental fish that is widely loved and has good prospects for development. This study aims to improve the growth of goldfish (Carassius auratus) fed with feed enriched with turmeric flour. The test fish used were goldfish seeds (Length 3-4 cm and weight 2-3 g). This study was an experimental study with a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and three replications consisting of commercial feed (P0), feed enriched with turmeric flour with a dose of 1% (P1); 2% (P2) and 3% (P3). The results showed that adding turmeric flour to the feed statistically significantly affected the seeds' absolute weight and Specific Growth Rate (SGR). Still, they were not significantly different in the seeds' absolute length value, Fed Conversion Ratio (FCR), and Survival Rate (SR). Treatment with a dose of 3% showed the best value in absolute weight of 4.66 ± 0.23 g, absolute length of 2.93 ± 0.12 cm, SGR of 2.68 ± 0.15%, FCR of 1.41 ± 0.03, and feed protein content (50.04%). Turmeric flour has the potential to be used as a supplement in feed because it can increase feed protein content and seed growth and reduce FCR values better than without the addition of turmeric flour.

Abstract

Green cosmetics are becoming increasingly popular as consumers' awareness of the environment grows. This study explores the relationship among Indonesian consumers' attitudes toward green cosmetics, environmental consciousness, behavioral control, subjective norms, product knowledge, purchase intention, and purchasing behavior. Data were collected from 310 respondents through an online questionnaire from various groups of men and women, then analyzed using Descriptive Statistical Analysis and SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). The research findings indicate that attitudes towards green cosmetics significantly influence purchase intention, and environmental consciousness also plays a crucial role in driving purchase intention. Perceptions of behavioral control and subjective norms also significantly affect purchase intention. Product knowledge has a significant impact on attitudes towards green cosmetics. Purchase intention significantly influences actual purchasing behavior. Exciting differences are observed between men and women. Environmental consciousness significantly impacts women's purchase intention, while behavioral control and subjective norms are more dominant in influencing men's purchase intention. The implications of this research are essential for producers and marketers of green cosmetics, offering insights for developing effective marketing strategies. This study highlights the importance of different approaches when targeting male and female consumers, considering the factors influencing their purchase intentions and behavior. These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of consumer behavior related to green cosmetics, encouraging environmentally friendly consumption patterns.

Abstract

Amid increasing concerns about plastic pollution and its negative impact on ecosystems, this research explores the relationship between environmental consciousness and the desire of urban consumers in Yogyakarta City to purchase products with eco-friendly packaging. Using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) as a foundation, we aim to unveil the factors influencing consumer preferences toward sustainable packaging alternatives. Through a quantitative approach, this study involved 150 respondents who were selected purposively, with data analysis utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Findings indicate a significant relationship between environmental consciousness and positive consumer attitudes towards sustainable packaging, emphasizing the crucial role of environmental consciousness in driving preferences for eco-friendly options. However, consumer attitudes alone do not directly increase the willingness to purchase these products. Instead, subjective norms and perceived behavioral control emerge as the primary determinants, highlighting the strong influence of social pressure and personal efficacy beliefs on sustainable purchasing decisions. This study not only contributes to the theoretical discourse on consumer behavior in environmental sustainability but also offers practical insights for policymakers, businesses, and environmental campaigns in promoting a culture of sustainable consumption through effective communication strategies, policy interventions, and market-based solutions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the trends and developments in the literature concerning the influence of leadership, emotional intelligence, and competence on employee performance during the 2020–2025 period using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. By analyzing 808 articles through Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA), the study found that the core topic of these three variables dominated academic attention, peaking in 2024. Although a decline in interest occurred in 2025, projections through 2028 indicate renewed growth. The findings highlight the need for interdisciplinary approaches, contextual exploration, and the development of integrative theoretical models to better understand the dynamic relationships among the variables. Practical implications include the use of analytic technologies and stronger collaboration between academics and practitioners in formulating more adaptive human resource strategies.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the criminal liability of perpetrators of illegal fishing based on the Decision of the Tanjungpinang District Court Number 32/Pid.Sus-PRK/2020/PN Tpg. The focus lies on law enforcement efforts, the form of criminal responsibility, and the judge’s legal considerations regarding violations committed by the foreign vessel’s captain operating without an official fishing permit. The analysis applies the theoretical framework of criminal liability and maritime law. Data were collected through document studies of statutory regulations and court decisions, and analyzed qualitatively. This study concludes that criminal liability in this case was imposed in the form of a fine and confiscation of evidence due to jurisdictional limitations under UNCLOS. Although no custodial sentence was issued, the judge exercised a cautious and proportionate legal approach that aligned with national and international law, making the decision a significant precedent for fisheries law enforcement in Indonesia.
