Abstract

Asuransi rangka kapal didisain untuk menutup seluruh resiko yang dihadapi dalam pengoperasian kapal. Beberapa tahun terakhir, pendapatan premi asuransi rangka kapal di PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia mengalami penurunan akibat banyak perusahaan pelayaran yang menutup asuransi rangka kapalnya di perusahaan asuransi lain. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kepuasan nasabah asuransi rangka kapal PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia dan mengidentifikasi atribut-atribut mana saja yang menjadi prioritas perbaikan. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah perusahaan pelayaran yang menjadi nasabah asuransi PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia di DKI Jakarta sebanyak 23 perusahaan, sampel penelitian sebanyak 20 perusahaan dengan alasan data kuesioner yang valid untuk dianalisis dalam penelitian ini. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan Customer Satisfaction Index dan Importance-Performance Analysis. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa indeks kepuasan nasabah asuransi PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia sebesar 67.82% yang masih termasuk dalam kategori puas. Berdasarkan hasil IPA, ada 14 atribut dari dimensi kualitas pelayanan dan perceived value yang menjadi prioritas perbaikan. Dimensi kualitas pelayanan yang perlu diperhatikan adalah dari dimensi reliability dan responsiveness. Analisis QFD sendiri dilakukan untuk mencari solusi perbaikan.

Abstract

Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia merupakan negara kepulauan, dimana kondisi transportasi laut dalam negeri baik sarana maupun prasarana keselamatan pelayaran hingga saat ini belum mendukung tertibnya kelancaran angkutan laut di Tanah Air. Syahbandar sebagai penegak keamanan dan keselamatan pelayaran, melakukan pemeriksaan pendahuluan kecelakaan kapal, Mahkamah Pelayaran berwenang melakukan pemeriksaan lanjutan kecelakaan kapal. Mengingat tingginya angka kecelakaan di wilayah perairan Indonesia, maka Mahkamah Pelayaran membutuhkan perencanaan strategik untuk melaksanakan tugasnya. Pada penelitian ini akan mengidentifikasi faktor internal dan eksternal Mahkamah Pelayaran, menggunakan matriks EFI dan EFE, matriks SWOT untuk menghasilkan alternatif strategi dan menggunakan matriks QSPM untuk menetapkan prioritas yang akan diambil oleh Mahkamah Pelayaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tiga prioritas strategi tertinggi yang harus diambil dalam perencanaan strategik Mahkamah Pelayaran adalah melaksanakan pemeriksaan lanjutan kecelakaan kapal setelah dilakukan pemeriksaan pendahuluan kecelakaan kapal oleh Syahbandar, sepanjang terdapat dugaan awal adanya kesalahan/ kelalaian yang dilakukan oleh Nakhoda/ Perwira Kapal. Mengusulkan untuk memberikan tunjangan kehormatan/ tunjangan kerja khusus/ tunjangan persidangan yang menarik bagi Anggota Mahkamah Pelayaran, yang menangani pemeriksaan lanjutan kecelakaan kapal. Memaksimalkan peran Anggota Mahkamah Pelayaran Mahkamah Pelayaran berdasarkan keahlian masing-masing dibidangnya, dalam rangka pemeriksaan lanjutan kecelakaan kapal. Kata kunci: perencanaan strategik, mahkamah pelayaran, evaluasi, faktor, internal, external.

Abstract

Sustainable and fast fashion brands compete to provide diverse choices for consumers. This study aims to identify characteristics of Indonesian Gen Z and millennial women consumers of sustainable apparel, analyze the influence of product attributes and marketing factors on their purchasing decisions, and examine the impact of individual and social factors using the theory of planned behavior. The target population is Instagram followers of the sustainable clothing official store who meet the criteria. The questionnaire was created using Google Forms and distributed through Instagram Direct Message. Seventy-seven willing respondents were obtained. Data analysis was carried out using the SEM-PLS method and descriptive analysis. Social norms, subjective norms, and individual behavior control factors significantly influence purchase intention and purchase decisions. However, sustainable clothing product attributes and marketing factors have a positive but insignificant impact on purchase intention and purchase decisions. Individual attitude factors weakly and insignificantly influence purchase intention and purchase decisions. Purchase intention, on the other hand, significantly influences purchase decisions. Five managerial implications are suggested: consumer segmentation, consumer-involved marketing strategies, collaboration with offline stores, enhancing sustainable product attributes, and improving the marketing of sustainable clothing products. Abstract

Indonesia is the largest country producing palm oil. The existence of climate change in the form of El Nino has had an impact on the sustainability of oil palm plantations, with the fire of land and oil palm plantations. The purpose of this study is to design a prototype of future business models that will be used to develop palm oil insurance. The analytical method used is a business model canvas (BMC) approach equipped and SWOT. Data used in the form of primary data and secondary data. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, questionnaires and literature studies. The sampling technique is by non-probability sampling-purposive sampling with the hope that the selected sample has the knowledge, expertise and competence in the field studied in this study. Based on the results of the research, it shows that the highest strength lies in the elements of Key Partners and Channels with values of 4.1 and 3.7. Furthermore, the highest weaknesses are indicated by Key Activities and Key Resources elements with values of 3.10 and 3.00. Both have relatively low weaknesses compared to the weaknesses of other elements. The highest opportunity lies in the Customer Segment element with a value of 4.2 and Customer Relationship with a value of 3.97. Threats in all segments are classified as low with values between 3 and 3.4. High weakness in the Revenue Stream and Cost Structure elements. Company need to improve elements: customer relationship, value preposition, key activities, key partners, key resources, and channels. Abstract

In consumer behavior study, customer satisfaction and loyalty are important aspects that determine the sustainability of the business. Especially in new business that has a considerable number of competitors. Therefore, a product quality and services quality that can increase positive value of consumer are needed. This study aimed to analyze the effect of product quality, service quality, and perceived value that was mediated by satisfaction to customer loyalty in the new restaurant. The study involved 140 consumers at least once make a purchase in Durian Soup XYZ Restaurant that was located at Bogor. Perceived value was measured by the Likert scale. Data were collected by questionnaires and analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The resultsshowed that the quality of the product and the perceived value had significant positive relationship with consumer satisfaction. In addition, customer satisfaction also had a significant positive relationship with customer loyalty. This finding suggests for new restaurant to maintain product quality and to build positive value among consumer so will increase consumer satisfaction that will lead into consumer loyalty.

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to examine the impact of mobile internet adoption by cocoa farmers into their business performance. The main factors examined in this study are creativity and innovativeness. The study sample consists of 193cocoa farmers with 24% smart phone penetrationin thirteen cocoa farmer centers in southern East Java. Data were analyzed by employing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings revealed that the business performance is significantly impacted by creativity and innovativeness. Creativity and innovativeness was measured by new product development, new process, and new marketing way; while business performance was measured by sales increase, profitability improvement and market share. This research has a limitation that the generalizability of the findings is limited to the geographical scope of the sample. Based on findings, as the practical implications of this study, to give a meaningful broadband to the farmers, all stake holders need to build a conducive broadband ecosystem for the farmer by providing better access to device, user friendly applications, and better broadband customer experience.

Abstract

In the Oil World 2014 report, Indonesia is the world’s largest palm oil producer with production of 28 million tons in 2014. Due to increasing market demand for palm oil, environmental and social issues are becoming more essential. This situation requiring a strategy and a policy that is able to balance between the increases of the economic benefits of production while the environmental and social impacts should be minimized. This study aims to identify and describe strategies and policies related to the development of the oil palm industry and its implementation at some companies in Indonesia and to identify factors affecting the competitiveness of the oil palm industry. This study uses ISM (Interpretive Structural Modeling) analytic method with the panel experts of oil palm industry stakeholders from the corporate, government, association, environmental NGOs and academia as respondentts. The results show that the strategy is carried out on the development of a sustainable oil palm industry should increase the attention to the environmental and social aspects with regard to economic aspects. Factors of social, environment, and law enforcement by the government are the most important factors of the strategies.
