Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meghasilkan e-modul IPA berbasis computational thinking yang layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir logis peserta didik. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model ADDIE, meliputi Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen validasi e-modul, angket respon guru dan peserta didik, dan tes kemampuan berpikir logis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai validitas e-modul IPA berbasis computational thinking adalah 0,78 termasuk kategori validitas tinggi. Hasil kepraktisan dari angket respon guru 90,93% dan respon peserta didik 85,68% dengan ketegori sangat praktis, hasil keefektifan kemampuan berpikir logis peserta didik pada uji coba terbatas dan uji coba lapangan meningkat, nilai N-gain pada uji coba terbatas dan uji coba lapangan masing-masing 0,73 dan 0,77 dengan kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian e-modul IPA berbasis computational thinking yang dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir logis dalam pembelajaran IPA.Kata kunci: Berpikir Komputasi, E-modul, Berpikir Logis. This study aims to produce thinking computation-based science e-modules that are feasible to use to improve students' thinking skills. This development research uses the ADDIE model, including Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection uses e-module validation instruments, teacher and student response questionnaires, and logical thinking ability tests. The results showed that the validity value of the thinking computation-based science e-module was 0.78 which was included in the high validity category. The results of the practicality of the teacher's response questionnaire were 90.93% and the responses of students were 85.68% with the very practical category, the results of the effectiveness of students' logical thinking skills in limited trials and field trials increased, the N-gain value in limited trials and field tests try field respectively 0.73 and 0.77 with high category. Thus the thinking computation-based science e-module that has been developed is feasible to use to improve logical thinking skills in science learning.Keywords: Computational Thinking, E-Module, Logical Thinking.

Abstract

PISA 2022 results show that Indonesia's scientific literacy is still low. This is because the learning resources containing local wisdom in learning are very limited. This research aims to analyze the validity of the PjBL-STEAM teaching module containing the local wisdom of natural dye to increase students' scientific literacy. The research method is design research using the ADDIE model with five stages, namely analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate. Stage 1) analyze, in the form of an analysis of the curriculum, student characteristics, and existing module products. Stage 2) design, which consists of designing the draft module and research instruments. Stage 3) develop, in the form of collecting validity data through assessments from three experts and two practitioners. Stages 4) implement and 5) evaluate will be carried out in further research. The research results obtained showed content validity of 3.54 (very valid), linguistic validity of 3.49 (very valid), presentation validity of 3.63 (very valid), graphic validity of 3.5 (very valid), and scientific literacy aspect validity of 3.6 (very valid). Based on the assessment results, the PjBL-STEAM module containing the local wisdom of natural dye is valid and can be used to increase students' scientific literacy.

Abstract

The low problem-solving ability of chemistry students in solving contextual problems is related to their low conceptual understanding and environmental literacy. Based on these problems, this study aims to improve problem-solving abilities and conceptual understanding through the development of a biodiesel e-module with a valid, practical, and effective STEAM Web Based Blended Learning (STEAM WBBL) approach. This study uses the ADDIE model for research and development. This study was conducted on 40 Chemistry Education students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and test instruments for problem-solving abilities, conceptual understanding, and environmental literacy. The effectiveness analysis technique used a written test in the form of problem-solving ability and conceptual understanding test instruments. Based on the validity test, the developed biodiesel e-module was declared valid, very practical, and effective in improving students' problem-solving abilities, conceptual understanding, and environmental literacy with N-gain values of 0.75, 0.73, and 0.68, respectively. The biodiesel e-module application with the STEAM WBBL approach is suitable for use as a teaching material.

Abstract

Everyone must have scientific literacy to actively participate in advancing science, technology, and society. However, the scientific literacy skills of Indonesian students are still low. This research aims to develop student worksheets based on guided inquiry on buffer solution material to increase students' scientific literacy. This research applied 4D development research which includes the Definition, Design, Development, and Dissemination stages. At the definition stage, a needs analysis was carried out, while at the design stage, a draft of the student worksheet was made. At the development stage, the worksheet was validated by 5 validators. Furthermore, the revised worksheet was tested for readability by 10 students in class XI IPA. Finally, the revised worksheet was field tested on 32 students through a learning buffer solution in class with a guided inquiry strategy. This study employed a descriptive approach to assess the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the worksheet. The findings indicate that the developed worksheet is highly valid, with an average validity score of 94.11% across the content, presentation, media, and language aspects, placing it in the very valid category. The worksheet also achieved a practicality score of 84%, indicating it is practical. Additionally, the worksheet improved students' scientific literacy with an N-gain value of 0.59. Therefore, it can be concluded that the worksheet can be used to improve students' scientific literacy through buffer solution learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the science learning process in terms of process standards and to describe the competence of science teachers in terms of education staff standards. This research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The validation technique uses data triangulation. The data analysis technique in this study is by means of data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results showed that in general the science learning process at SMPN 1 Babirik was in accordance with the standard process. The lesson plans prepared by science teachers meet most of the indicators in Permendikbud No. 22 of 2016 concerning RPP components. In general, the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages are in accordance with process standards. The competence of science teachers at SMPN 1 Babirik has also met the standards of teaching staff

Abstract

Literasi perubahan iklim merupakan kompetensi kunci dalam pendidikan abad ke-21 yang menuntut integrasi strategis ke dalam pembelajaran sains, khususnya kimia. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul ajar termokimia berbasis project-based learning (PjBL) yang mengintegrasikan indikator literasi perubahan iklim secara sistematis. Modul dirancang untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual, keterampilan ilmiah, dan kesadaran ekologis peserta didik Madrasah Aliyah. Penelitian menggunakan metode research and development (R&D) dengan model 4D; define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Proses pengembangan mencakup analisis kebutuhan, perancangan modul, validasi ahli, dan uji coba terbatas. Validasi dilakukan oleh lima ahli menggunakan instrumen berbasis lima aspek kelayakan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa modul memiliki tingkat validitas sangat tinggi (rerata 97,45), dengan skor sempurna pada aspek pedagogi dan penilaian PjBL. Uji coba menunjukkan bahwa modul efektif meningkatkan partisipasi aktif, pemahaman materi, dan refleksi ekologis peserta didik. Fitur interaktif seperti simulasi, padlet, dan pojok literasi mendorong keterlibatan peserta didik dalam konteks nyata. Studi ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan PjBL efektif untuk menghubungkan konsep kimia dengan isu keberlanjutan. Modul yang dikembangkan dapat direplikasi dan dikembangkan lebih lanjut untuk memperkuat literasi iklim lintas kurikulum. Implikasinya mendukung transformasi pedagogi kimia menuju pendidikan sains berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The main challenge faced by the Karang Bunga Village community is the low price of Siam Banjar oranges during the harvest season, which negatively affects the farmers' economy. To address this issue, it is necessary to diversify processed citrus products as part of the Citrus House business unit managed by the Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) "Berkah Bersama." This Community Service activity utilized the “service learning” method to train students in leadership skills through hands-on community empowerment efforts. One of the main focuses of the community service activity was developing an ice cream product made from Siam Banjar oranges, covering aspects such as production, packaging, and marketing. The results of the community service activity showed an increase in community skills and knowledge, with an average score of 2.99, indicating that the level of knowledge and skills falls within the "good" category. However, there are still challenges in the areas of packaging and marketing. The average score for the evaluation of the activity implementation was 3.42 (good category), and the average score for the resulting ice cream product was 3.13 (also in the good category). This activity is expected to improve product quality, expand market reach, and ultimately have a positive impact on the income of the village community.

Abstract

Critical thinking is essential for students’ academic and life success, yet many students perform poorly because instructional approaches often fail to promote higher-order thinking. This study developed an interactive learning medium that integrates Socio-Scientific Issues (SSI) using Articulate Storyline and evaluated its validity, practicality, and effectiveness in improving students’ critical thinking about chemical bonding. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) design based on the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Participants were 67 eleventh-grade students (34 from XI-1 and 33 from XI-4), aged 15–16 years. Data were collected using validation sheets, questionnaires, observation sheets, and pretest–posttest critical thinking tests. Results showed the media was valid (content validity index = 0.97), highly practical (mean practicality score = 4.33), and effective (mean N-gain = 0.77), indicating substantial improvement in students’ critical thinking. The study concludes that SSI-based interactive materials developed with Articulate Storyline are feasible and effective for teaching chemical bonding; theoretically, the findings support the role of SSI and digital interactive media in fostering higher-order thinking, and practically, teachers are recommended to adopt these materials to enhance critical-thinking instruction.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang penggunaan model pembelajaran POE (Predict-Observe-Explore) pada materi hidrolisis garam untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini menerapkan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 34 orang siswa di kelas XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 4 Banjarmasin. Adapun variabel yang diteliti yaitu meliputi aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, keterampilan berpikir kritis, hasil belajar kognitif, hasil belajar afektif dan hasil belajar psikomotorik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dengan penerapan model POE aktivitas guru meningkat dari kategori cukup baik dengan skor 31,38 pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 41,00 dengan kategori baik pada siklus II, aktivitas siswa meningkat dari kategori cukup aktif dengan skor 27,50 pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 41,13 yang dikategorikan aktif pada siklus II, keterampilan berpikir kritis meningkat dari kategori cukup kritis dengan nilai sebesar 65,04 pada siklus I menjadi kritis dengan nilai sebesar 72,29 pada siklus II, hasil belajar kognitif dari ketuntasan 44,22% meningkat menjadi 82,34%, hasil belajar afektif dari kategori cukup baik dengan skor 12,21 pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 15,33 yang dikategorikan baik pada siklus II dan hasil belajar psikomotor dari kategori cukup terampil dengan skor 62,11 pada siklus I meningkat menjadi terampil dengan skor 77,49 pada siklus II.

Abstract

Masalah dalam keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa meliputi kesulitan dalam merencanakan, memecahkan masalah, berkolaborasi, berkomunikasi, dan melakukan refleksi diri. Panduan praktikum merupakan komponen utama dalam pengembangan keterampilan proses sains agar peserta didik mengalami transformasi kognitif dan memahami konten secara mendalam. Penelitian ini telah mengembangkan panduan praktikum hidrokarbon yang terintegrasi representasi kimia untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains. Metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D) menerapkan Model ADDIE terdiri atas lima fase yaitu analisis, perencanaan, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Adapun penelitian ini terdiri dari uji coba perorangan sebanyak 3 orang, uji coba kelompok kecil sebanyak 5 orang dan uji coba lapangan sebanyak 6 orang mahasiswa Pendidikan Kimia Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa oanduan praktikum yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat kevalidan 95,25% pada kategori baik, kepraktisan 86,34% pada kategori sangat praktis dan efektif dengan n-gain 0,82 pada kategori tinggi. Panduan praktikum diperoleh kriteria layak yang ditinjau dari aspek validitas, praktikalitas, dan efektifitas untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses peserta didik.
