Abstract

The rapid advancement of science and technology (Iptek) in the digital era requires educational institutions to focus not only on academic achievement but also on strengthening students’ faith and piety (Imtaq). However, previous studies have predominantly emphasized cognitive development without systematically integrating spiritual dimensions into educational programs. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the Islamic Boarding School (IBS) program as an effort to enhance Imtaq and Iptek in developing students’ spiritual potential at MTs Negeri 1 Kebumen. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings reveal that the IBS program is implemented through curriculum integration combining Islamic and digital literacy values, habitual religious activities, and additional services that support spiritual and intellectual formation. Teachers and IBS supervisors play crucial roles not only as educators but also as character facilitators and coordinators of religious activities. Supporting factors include parental involvement, a conducive school environment, and adequate facilities, while inhibiting factors stem from gadget use, student fatigue, and peer influence. This study concludes that the IBS program significantly contributes to balancing Imtaq and Iptek development and enriches the model of spiritual-integrated education in Islamic schools. Theoretically, the study reinforces the concept of holistic pesantren-based education that remains relevant in the digital context

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the role of the school principal as an education manager in optimizing the teacher’s teaching performance in a particular region. The researcher uses qualitative methods, namely case study type. The results are: (1) the school principal have roles in regulating the facilities and infrastructures in school by making plans and listing priorities based on BOS technical guidelines; (2) the principal have roles in managing the classroom by monitoring, providing direction, supervision, and providing teachers with training activities; (3) the school principal have roles in developing a good working relationship by accustoming active communication, involving the nearby community in school activities, and creating a school program namely “Ayo Sekolah”; lastly (4) the school principal have roles in reinforcing teachers by giving reward to the teachers. The reward is by supporting teachers in developing their teaching performance, career, potential, and getting a better assessment system for teachers. The school principal can improve the teachers’ teaching performance by providing ratings to teachers and implementing reprimands and punishments for teachers and students.

Abstract

Abstract: The role of education in educating the nation is very important, so it is very important for schools to pay attention to the quality of education. Quality improvement management is considered an important factor, including the assessment of school performance through accreditation so that it will be known how good teacher competence is. Accreditation can be used as a means to ensure school quality. This study aims to determine: (1) the level of school accreditation implementation; (2) the level of teacher learning performance; (3) the level of education quality; (4) the effect of school accreditation implementation and teacher learning performance on education quality. This study used a quantitative approach with descriptive and regression analysis. The results of the study illustrate: (1) The level of school accreditation implementation in SMA Negeri Se-Kota Batu is in the range of 63-76 in the very good category; (2) The level of teacher learning performance in SMA Negeri Se-Kota Batu is in the range of 65-80 in the very high category; (3) The level of education quality in SMA Negeri Se-Kota Batu is in the range of 99-120 in the very good category; (4) There is an influence between school accreditation and teacher learning performance on the quality of education of SMA Negeri Se-Kota Batu with an influence of 77.7%, with details between accreditation variables having an influence on the quality of education of SMA Negeri Se-Kota Batu as much as 3.0%. Manajemen peningkatan mutu dianggap sebagai faktor penting, termasuk dalam penilaian terhadap kinerja sekolah melalui akreditasi sehingga akan diketahui seberapa baik kompetensi guru. Akreditasi dapat digunakan sebagai sarana untuk menjamin mutu sekolah. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) tingkat implementasi akreditasi sekolah; (2) tingkat kinerja pembelajaran guru; (3) tingkat mutu pendidikan; (4) pengaruh implementasi akreditasi sekolah dan kinerja pembelajaran guru terhadap mutu pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis deskriptif dan regresi. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan: (1) Tingkat implementasi akreditasi sekolah di SMA Negeri Se-Kota Batu berada pada rentang nilai 63-76 dalam kategori sangat baik; (2) Tingkat kinerja pembelajaran guru di SMA Negeri Se-Kota Batu berada pada rentang 65-80 dalam kategori sangat tinggi; (3) Tingkat mutu pendidikan di SMA Negeri Se-Kota Batu berada pada rentang 99-120 dalam kategori sangat baik; (4) Terdapat pengaruh antara akreditasi sekolah dan kinerja pembelajaran guru terhadap mutu pendidikan SMA Negeri Se-Kota Batu dengan pengaruh sebesar 77,7%, dengan rincian antara variabel akreditasi mempunyai pengaruh terhadap mutu pendidikan SMA Negeri Se-Kota Batu sebanyak 3,0%. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the research designed was to describe teacher competence in writing scientific papers based on Classroom Action Research (PTK) articles which can be published in electronic journals. This research was conducted at SDIT Ar Ruhul Jadid with a sample design of 70 respondents, but the data obtained by researchers was 42 respondents. Researchers used 2 methods which were carried out simultaneously, namely action research and descriptive quantitative. There are several achievement indicators that researchers want to explore in this study, including respondents' understanding of the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method; understanding related to scientific work; Furthermore, Classroom Action Research (PTK) is part of scientific work; as well as understanding regarding the Open Journal System (OJS) from the respondents.
