The data was obtained through direct observation of Ilman wa ruhan volume one and two textbooks that enter the word learning process. The observation instrument of this research is maany digital dictionary which has been standardized internationally. The conclusion of this study shows the existence of pseudo-words in volume one and volume two textbooks in the early part of learning three connected letters. Abstract

The development of science and ICT (information, communication, & technology) requires teachers as the main component of the learning process to be able to integrate technology into the learning process. TPACK is a learning approach that integrates technology, pedagogy, and subject matter into learning. The use of technology in Arabic language learning, one of the goals of which is to master four language skills (maharatul istima', maharatul kalam, maharatul qiraah, and maharah kitabah), is very helpful in achieving the expected competencies both as a learning resource and as a learning media. This study aims to examine the implementation of TPACK-based Arabic language learning and its use at Madrasah Miftahul Afkar Kediri based on source searches (documentation and teachers and learning media) that are then classified and processed, interpreted, and concluded. This research employs a qualitative approach, proceeding through several stages. Initially, the researcher gathers various documents and data pertinent to TPACK. Second, the researcher observes the research object (Madrasah Miftahul Afkar, Kediri). Third, the researcher analyzes and draws conclusions from the obtained and collected documents and data. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that Arabic language teachers at Madrasah Miftahul Afkar have implemented TPACK, which combines technology, pedagogy, and content in learning Arabic through the learning and teaching process.

Abstract

Morphological competence plays a crucial role in producing academically sound Arabic writing, especially for non-native learners in higher education. This study aims to analyze and categorize morphological errors found in the thesis abstracts of students in the Arabic Language Education Study Program at IAIN Kediri. Using a qualitative descriptive method with a content analysis approach, the research focuses on identifying dominant patterns of morphological mistakes and offering strategic insights to improve linguistic accuracy in students’ final academic projects. The data consisted of three randomly selected abstracts from 2023–2024 graduates, which served as the primary source, supported by secondary sources such as books and articles related to Arabic morphology. The analysis process involved four stages: data collection, error identification, explanation, and evaluation. The results revealed four major categories of morphological errors: incorrect word formation, misapplication of wazan (word patterns), inaccurate use of various types of hamzah, and improper placement of ḍamīr (pronouns). These findings suggest the need for targeted instructional interventions to reinforce students’ understanding of Arabic morphological structures in academic contexts.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the efficacy of the joyful learning method, enhanced through the use of domino cards as a teaching aid, in fostering students’ motivation and understanding in Arabic language instruction. Adopting a quantitative approach, the study employed a quasi-experimental design namely, a one-group pretest-posttest format featuring a cohort of 31 eighth-grade students from MTsN 2 Surabaya. Data were gathered through the administration of pretests and posttests, complemented by classroom observations during the learning process. The statistical findings revealed a marked improvement in student outcomes, with mean scores increasing from 29.42 on the pretest to 74.74 on the posttest. The Paired Sample T-Test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating that the improvements were statistically significant rather than due to chance. These findings underscore the effectiveness of incorporating game-based elements into instruction, as they help foster a more dynamic, enjoyable, and productive learning environment. As such, the joyful learning approach utilizing domino cards proves to be an innovative and effective pedagogical option for Arabic language education.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of the outdoor learning method in enhancing Arabic speaking skills among 11th-grade students at Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum Indragiri. Employing a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design, 12 students were assessed using structured tests before and after receiving treatment through four sessions of outdoor learning activities. Data were analyzed quantitatively using SPSS 27.0. Results show a significant improvement in students' speaking skills, with average scores rising from 62.77 (pre-test) to 93.33 (post-test). The paired sample t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000, confirming that the method effectively improves speaking performance. The outdoor setting increased student engagement and provided a contextual environment conducive to practicing Arabic in real-life scenarios. This method not only improved vocabulary recall but also boosted student confidence and participation. Findings support the integration of outdoor learning into Arabic language instruction, particularly in environments that demand higher student interaction. Future research should involve a larger population and longer duration to validate the long-term impact of this method.
